Overall good, would book again, but some staff better than others, check in rather slow, considering I did it online, plus had two people come just at the same time. Need more staff. Cleaning staff did clean the room daily, but kept leaving two towels, when it's 3 of us. Sofa bed was set up, so it was good. Too much renovation going on, you need to send an email if you do any renovation to let guests know. The pool is closed for the season, tried to go up to see the view, which is a shame. Left our bags, but toilet out of order, out flight was in the evening, did not let us use the toilet and said there is only one in the cafeteria, eventually let us use it, that was the worst part. Most staff good, but some worse than others.

Fairly average experience, staff were ok - didn’t really go above and beyond like you’d usually find at a hotel. All rooms are single beds, if you go for double like we did, all they do is push them together leaving you with an annoying gap p- they refused to do anything else to help. Don’t go for breakfast - it’s not worth it in my opinion. Room was cleaned daily and in nice condition. Parking is not included for free - €20 a day which is very expensive- street parking isn’t even this much. I found this to be very misleading. Wouldn’t return.

Overall we had a very nice stay except for one inconvenience which I would like to mention. Our room and the adjacent room had a common door and on the last day of our stay the occupant in the adjacent room was very loud on his phone which caused lot of discomfort for us when we were about to go to bed. I suggest the staff could tell people about the common door and advice them not to be very loud.

The staff was very friendly, the location is great!! It is just very old, same welcome postcard seems to have been used too many times, same the cleaning kit, it was new but because it had not been used, stayed in the same old paper bag that had been splashed with water. Needs to tidy and renew a few things, but it was ok for the purposes or the trip.

Spent a very pleasant six days in a Marbella Inn studio. Very central to beach and Old town yet away from all the commotion. WiFi was weak in our studio on sixth floor but we would come back and stay here. Breakfast was good value and overall we were very happy.

An old renewed hotel with good rooms, but no amenities. Breakfast is of poor quality and staff not particularly friendly. Reception staff very good and friendly. To use the safe in the room you have to pay €2.50/day. Something unbelievable. The rooftop pool is Ok but no towels available and when asked at reception, one is told to go to a shop around the corner and buy one. Such small things, bad breakfast, charge for safe and no amenities makes this hotel not a 3 star but downgrades it to a 2 stars, despite good rooms.

The Marbella Inn is located in the downtown area of the beautiful city of Marbella in the heart of shopping, dinning and most notably Old Town Marbella, which is a treasure to itself. You are a short walk away from the beach and would recommend walking, ditch the taxis, to discover all the fresh baked bread, pastries, tapas of every flavor and of course the shopping. I definitely stay again.

we had a nice 4 nights stay in this hotel. location is nice and walkable to the beach and the tourist area. the stuff was very nice, helpful and welcoming. and breakfast was nice with a good variety of options.
the only thing I didn't like was the in propertie parking which was very tight and required a good driving skill in order to park withour scratching the car.

Great value and great location.

My girlfriend and stayed for a full week and enjoyed every minute of it. Great hotel at a great price and with an excellent rooftop pool. We arrived late and left very early, so the 24 hour reception was really great. Location-wise the hotel is perfectly located close to the city centre and the famous orange square, but at the same time just a few minutes walk from the beach.

The rooftop pool was a good size, and plenty of sun beds that usually you could get one for free, as opposed to going to the beach to pay for one. The room (we had an apartment) was a good size; with a stove, microwave and fridge which meant we could have our own meals out on the balcony if we so desired.

Great base for a trip to Marbella. Its a lovely quiet hotel close enough to the beach, restaurants and bars but far away enough for nice and peaceful and restful stay. We had an apartment style room which would easily sleep 4 people. It was super clean, nicely decorated and the queen size bed was comfortable and good quality.

Puerto Banus is a short taxi ride away and there are buses available from the main road to other areas if you fancy a trip out.

Although a very picturesque setting in a lovely town, the hotel failed to live up to pictures and expectations matched with responses on Trip Advisor. I found a blood mark on a bed side cabinet and I found a lack of response when the hotel receptionists were questioned about this, I feel there was a distinct lack of training in amongst the receptionists such as when we asked about a Supermarket the receptionist disclosed that they were closed on Sunday's but they were open when the taxi drove past on our way to the next destination. Also the wifi was unresponsive and failed to provide a service once again offered, also a Casino was marked on the facilities available and this also was not available when asked about.

We were just staying her four nights and wanted a central location. We found the location great a few streets away from the beach, and less than 5 minutes walk from Marbella old town which is lovely. There is a supermarket and bakery a stones throw away. The accommodation is grand everything you need but if you are looking luxury look elsewhere. Great views from the rooftop pool and it was practically our private pool for the afternoon we spent up there. We had a little kitchen, and a balcony which I wasn't expecting. The room was clean and comfortable. staff were friendly and helpful.

Couldn't fault this hotel lovely staff and fab location right next to everything you could want including cheap supermarket! Wifi was a bit dodgy but they were trying to fix that. Breakfast was great if you like your carbs! Didn't see much in the way of fruit but if you like breads and doughnuts then it fills you up for the day. Staff were always friendly and helpful and very polite. Pool area was basic but had all you needed and all day long sun. Big balcony but no furniture to sit outside. Would definitely come back though!

I really enjoyed this Apart Hotel. I stayed in a self contained studio and it was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was nice overall. The kitchen area was sufficient, however lacked a microwave and I think a few more basic utensils would have been nice. But it had everything needed to cook a meal. The television was very small, had no HDMI and was dated. I struggled to find any English speaking channels so I think an upgrade on the television to something larger and cable television would be great. The balcony was nice and large and had a table and two chairs which was adequate. The WIFI was also good, although it blocked any type of streaming media, although YouTube worked.
Included in my stay was a continental breakfast. I found this to be lovely with bread, toast making facilities, condiments, juices, tea/coffee, pastries, croissants, cereals and a selection of lovely meats and cheese. Very satisfactory given the price of only 5 euro additional to my room.

My friend and I stayed here toward the end of August, we were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the hotel staff and the accessibility to the beach, shops, restaurants etc. Breakfast consists of; croissants, toast/bread, sweet pastries, cereal and fresh roles, so fit for purpose and the lady serving (short blonde hair) was lovely. The old town is a 5/10 minute walk away and is a definite visit. The rooftop pool, in my opinion could do with a flush out and complete clean, however had great views of the Marbella surrounding mountains. If you're looking for a basic hotel in a great location, I would recommend this hotel. On a negative note; I had an item of clothing spontaneously disappear from my room a couple of days into my stay. I reported it to reception and they said they would get back to me......no answer. So I then went and asked several more times and still no progress. At first I thought I had misplaced it but after turning the whole room upside down this was impossible! When leaving they just said 'no sorry' they hadn't found anything. On returning home and going through my belongings several further items have also gone missing. I understand they have a safe in the room but two large suitcases simply would not fit! This was the most disappointing thing, so make sure your luggage is secure before you leave your room!

Very central hotel with an outdoor pool. Room had a kitchenette with a fridge - genius.
15 minute walk to beach and 10 minutes to old town and great traditional places to eat. Great continental breakfast and good coffee. Very lovely friendly helpful staff, arranged a cab for us for early in the morning to get our return flight. Hotel looks like it is being re-furbished. The hotel can afford to keep this simple - suggestions - plain bathrooms with a good shower, keep the kitchenette with a fridge, upgrade the air conditioning so it is quiet, and use Spanish influences in decorating, bedding and soft furnishing to keep the costs down. Keep it as a 3 star and you will clean up and do well. Your strength is the staff and location of the hotel. Well done.

Arrived at hotel 26 june 2013 , absolutely devastated at 3star hotel, room was for 4 only 3 beds so requested a move to bigger room, next room was small dirty no kettle had to request one and tv was broken. Went to look for new hotel but the only one i could find was 2 thousand more euro so had to stay at hotel. Toiletvbroken so had to get that fixed, bath was full of poly filler round the plug to stop leaks what more can i say, balcony was terrible honestly it was an awful experience, breakfast was okay thats the only positive

Brilliant Value for money and location

Like most people I carried out my research prior to booking the hotel. and like most there were negative points about the security element and the lack of breakfast provided. I traveled on my own. My verdict is that this hotel is certainly value for money. The roof top pool was amazingly peaceful with great views. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast provided was basic but certainly enough to start your day. I was very pleased with the room and quality. The bathroom was clean. The living space consisted of a spacious pull out sofa bed, a dining table and tv as well as well equipped kitchen. The bedroom also had a tv and double wardrobe. Yes its dated but for what you pay its worth every penny. Yes the air con is a little noisy....I turned mine off and managed to sleep comfortably.
As for the security issue I paid 19 euros for the safe, and you are refunded 10 euros at the end of your trip.
The supermarket is directly opposite and very cheap. 22 cents for a large bottle of water! 10 euros something cents for 1l bottle of vodka (Smirnoff!) Fresh veg, fruit, meat and selection of cheeses.
I highly recommend this hotel for value for money and location.
