The property was very good value. Room not over the top but spacious enough and clean with a balcony. And the food option was excellent (on full board). That was really yummy. Not super diversified but enough for different tastes. And delicious_ every time. That's all the more important when you consider the fact that restaurants in Marbella aren't cheap. They're actually quite expensive.

A very good hotel with a rooftop pool. The price was great for the all inclusive features. The food was delicious though drinks were not included. I would definitely stay here again. The location was great, everything was within walking distance.

Really nice hotel, superb location

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I booked only two nights at first and decided to stay a few more. The location is superb, the central beach and walkway with all restaurants and tourists are 3 minute walk, the old town with it's own charm is also 3 minute walk (only the other direction). The room was large, bright, and with a nice balcony. There was a rooftop pool too, which I ended up not using as the beach was right there. Breakfast is included and I give it 5 stars, not only for variety and service, but for ambience - it is served in a nice, spacious restaurant. The hotel also offers affordable excursions to other places through a partner agency, so the tour bus stops conveniently around the corner from the hotel. Finally, the staff was excellent, from several front desk clerks to cleaning and kitchen staff. For the hotel in that price range it is more than you bargain for.

Marbella is beautiful. Lots of hotels and thousands of tourists, but still feels very Spanish. Beaches are huge and clean with lots of facilities and bars, restaurants etc. Mountains at the back of town are spectacular, and parks are lush. Casco Antiguo old town is quaint. Definitely take the ferry to Puerto Banus. Only €15 for a return journey - about 20 minutes each way. Amazing views of the coastline and mountains. Stay in Puerto Banus for as long as you want and get the ferry back later.

If you're travelling from Malaga Airport, book the bus online with Avanzabus - only about €9. No need to get expensive shuttles or taxis.

Hotel is getting a bit dated, but very clean and tidy - great value for a basic stay. I loved it - perfect for me.

Nice staff. Housekeepers wouldn't take a tip & were lovely.
A little skim on bath items but they worked with us & got us needed things.
Very large & great room other than beds/pillows which were rock hard. AC worked very well but mini fridge didn't although it did the job.
Safe available for rent & deposit.
Breakfast could improve. Not many healthy choices.
Ice would've been nice!
We really enjoyed our balcony! It was spacious & had padio furniture.
Small elevators.
Cute roof deck pool but no pool towels.

stayed for one night as I was going to the Starlite Music Festival. In terms of value for money in central Marbella I would recommend it, after all one doesn't go to Marbella to be in the room except to sleep. If you want no frills in superb location this is perfect.

doors for rooms are fragile and can hear everything from the outside also concerns for easy break in with no real lock for the doors which brought a continued concern for my belongings.

location wise very ideal quick easy main cabs are just outside and all the restaurants 2min walk to the shore and ferry to puerto banus.

Great Location in the cosmopolitan heart.

Overall a really good time staying there. The receptionist Maria is one of the best you can meet.. A gem. The hotel is let down by poor maintenance and internal reporting. I have brought this to the hotel's management, not simply for my benefit, but more importantly for future guests. They had better step up to the challenge. Please be belligerent if they don't. I still left happy all because of Maria's help and information, acting as a concierge.

Very central location, short walk to the beach

Positives - Very central location, short walk to the beach and port area with bars and restaurants. Taxi rank and horse drawn carriage just at end of the street. Tree lined streets so you don’t feel too far from nature. Food was always hot when required and always refreshed when empty. The small pool and sun terrace is on floor 7 and the 6th floor room I stayed in was more than adequate. There is free wifi in the restaurant floor and when I requested wifi for the room I was given the password free of charge.
There were two decent sized wardrobes in the room, a LCD TV with BBC world channel and two other English news channels on it. In room telephone, bedside lights, desk with chair and built in fridge. There is a safe in one of the wardrobes but I didn’t use this although other guests I spoke to did. The bathrooms are a bit dated like most of the décor but the shower was hot and good water pressure even on the 6th floor. The aircon needed a bit of instruction in how to use it but worked well and only a bit noisy when on full fan. The aircon stays on even when you switch off the main room switch.

Negatives – the hotel décor etc is a bit tired but it does have Spanish character and a lot of Spanish people stay here. There is some building work going on next door on the first floor but higher floors are best, as noise can travel up from the street as well.
The sun terrace is on floor 7 but the lift only goes to floor 6 (no further space for comments)

Way too much noise

The hotel is very tired. Poor quality bedding with cigarette burns in covers. The rooms are very noisey with inter connecting doors in most of them. You can hear everything from your neighbours. Outside is a taxi rank and recycling that gets emptied in the middle of the night. I found it impossible to sleep and had to buy sleeping tablets from the pharmacy conveniently located over the road.

Great location, just noisy at night time.
Rooftop pool is good, sunbeds mostly broken and old however it's also comfortable on the ground.

Reception staff is fantastic.
Housekeeping .....no comment, don't expect fresh towels or a clean room. You have to run after towels daily as they will be taken away in the morning and not returned by the evening. You either bring your own or look for cleaners throughout the hotel.

There ate 2 bars however during my 2 weeks stay, non of them where open, even it is advertised.
Nevertheless, there are plenty bars around the building with great atmosphere.

Breakfast buffet is very good and has lots of variety.
Unfortunately, the waiters seem very unhappy and annoyed of guests. They take your plate and cup while your eating, like they want you to leave. I have never seen a smile or heard a good morning, which was not so pleasant - only seeing angry faces. It made the impression that they refuse to give service, as they push you aside instead of letting you go your way, plates, cutlery, cups ect. have been banged on the table and tongs thrown into the foot. I tried lunch only once and first they didn't want to allow me as I wanted to pay extra. Result was that I did not get served for drinks and I didn't return for luchn or dinner.

FREE Wifi was advertised, however there is a fee.

The price is fair for the location, just don't expect too much. It's a good place for party people who are only there to sleep.

Fantastic location

Excellent location - 5 mins to Old Town & Promenade / beach, plenty of shops, bars, restaurants in surrounding area. Room cleaned every day, friendly staff. Food not great, breakfast is fine with hot & cold choices but evening meals are disappointing. Having said that, I have stayed here 3 times now, as the location is very central, its clean and handy for buses to Puerto Banus etc. All in all a great little basic hotel in a fab location and good value.

Great location, pretty awful hotel and service

Hotel is located at about a 5 minute walk from the old town, a 3 minute walk from the beach and about a ten minute drive from Puerto Banus. For a hotel that is located that close to the beach, they don't provide you with beach towels. Beds are awful, one thin pillow per room single bed, rooms are extremely basic. No wifi in the rooms, toiletries are rationed and no sea view as advertised. There is a building of approximately the same height blocking your view.

Simple, clean and dated in great location

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay at this hotel. I went on a business trip with a colleague and had dinner, room and breakfast. The food was good and the service was pleasant. The rooms are very dated but were clean and comfortable. Wi fi only available on common areas though. Location was great. There is very little parking in and around the area but there is underground car parking a short walk away. If you are looking for 5* accommodation this is not for you. Mainly retired couples and persons on a budget. I would recommend the El Rodeo

Nice comfort hotel -value for money.Friendly staff , great amenities / facilities to offer. Local is amazing right in the centre of Marbella and just a few minutes walk to the port/ beach front. Only faults with this hotel is there is no outside pool as featured on Hotels.com but just a tiny pool under a terrace which has never been cleaned. - Food in the hotel is ok , breakfast is lovely plenty of choice but unfortunately the evening meal was very poor and only a couple of choices. I would stay in this hotel again but only on a bed & breakfast basis only.

The hotel is near the old town of Marbella, so far from Puerto Barnus if this is what you want. The location is convinient with plenty of bars, restaurants nearby. I have to say, the nicer beaches are little further away towards Puerto Barnus, 20-30 min walking. The beach near the hotel is small and crownded. Our room is facing the street, it's a bit noisy in the morning. Our room had a balcony which is nice. The staff are friendly. There is free wifi in the reception and cafe area.

On the plus side the location was excelent within easy walking distance of the sea and my favorite part the Casco Antiguo with Orange square at its heart . The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean. Breakfast was adequate and plenty of it. The pool on the roof was small but a quiet refuge from the town.
The down side was the road outside was narrow and cars parked there constantly with the traffic that brings with it. The hotel as a whole was dated and with only two lifts we were thankful we were not there in school holiday time.
All in all an adequte three star hotel.

Great location and clean. However, they will only give you one large towel per person (and the towels are old and threadbare). Everyday was a fight for a second towel. Sometimes clean towels are not available until later in the day, long after you need a towels after being at the beach. No pool towels provided. The beds are uncomfortable. They only use flat sheets so the minute you move in the bed the sheet comes off. We were sleeping on uncovered mattresses.
Nice breakfast at the buffet. Food plentiful. Free Internet available in the large and comfortable bar/lounge. Always got a good signal.
The best feature is the location. The hotel is a couple blocks from the beach in one direction and close to the town in another direction. Close to shopping and restaurants.

The initial thought was oh no, when we pulled up in our taxi, however do not be put off by this the reception area, and rooms were of 3 star quality, clean, adequate and comfortable. it was very good value for money, an the surrounding area, and amenities were great. Breakfast was nice. the only improvement i would make would be pool, and bar service as we had to ring for bar service and were unsure of opening times. Other than this great hotel definately recommend. ****

I thought twice about booking this hotel as it has a good number of negative reviews. I read complaints about noise from the road, unfriendly staff, poor quality food, and others. During my stay, I would not complain about any of these. I was on the third floor and the side of the building away from the main road, so maybe that helped with the noise.
I found the front desk staff very friendly and helpful with local information. None of them spoke really good English, but they get by very well. One or two of the staff in the restaurant seemed a bit blunt but I put that down to poor English rather than attitude.
As for the restaurant food, I expected considerably less. I ate 5 breakfasts there, all were only slightly different, but there's not a lot you can change with bacon, eggs and sausages. There was plenty of food when breakfast started at 08:00. I once went down just before 09:00 and there was very little, but it was all replenished shortly after.
When I made my booking, it cost £6 extra for 5 nights dinner, so why wouldn't you book it? There were some poor reviews over dinner, but I reckoned if it was that bad and I decided to eat out, £6 was not a lot to pay. I was very happy with the dinners and I ate in the hotel for 4 of my 5 nights. I only went out on the other night because I wanted a steak, which I couldn't get in the hotel. Each night there was a wide variety of food, and plenty of it; soup, meat and vegetarian dishes, pasta, rice, salads, desserts etc.
Dinner was completely different each night and, considering what I paid for it, the food was outstanding. It wasn't haute cuisine, but if that's what you want, you don't eat at this standard of hotel. The food was well cooked and well presented with 3 good courses available each night. My only complaint about food would be that one night I ate half a piece of chicken before discovering that the other half was completely raw in the middle. But I ate several other pieces that were cooked perfectly.
Public areas in the hotel are quite clean and tidy, but a little old and worn. I tried to use their internet computer, which didn't work. They wanted 1 Euro for 12 minutes and I ended up going to an internet cafe across the road, which was cheaper.
My room was also clean, a little worn as well. Around the rim of the bath was a bit grubby, but the sort of thing that builds up over years and not because it wasn't cleaned properly.
Room servicing on each day seemed to consist only of making the bed, emptying the bin and providing clean towels. Things like the shampoo sachets continued to collect in a pile on the bath side for the whole 5 days. If the curtains were closed, they didn't open them and bed making probably took very little time, the bottom sheet was usually still creased. I think I had the same set of sheets for the whole stay. But none of these are major concerns for me.
Overall, I feel that this was an outstanding value hotel. I've stayed in many hotels of this standard around the world and this is definitely not the worst one, as one reviewer claimed. Trust me, there are considerably worse hotels than this. I would recommend it to anyone who knows what this standard of hotel provides. I can only conclude that many of the reviewers don't.

Quite simply....

1. On entering our room, the fridge was not working... the tv volume was not working and one of the 2 plastic chairs on the balcony was split (unsafe). Our first night, next doors snores could be heard, give the hotel there due they moved us to another room the next day.

2. The room they moved us to the tv in that room also had problems with the volume coming and going.

3. Early every morning (and I mean every morning!), the rubbish/recycling was emptied approx 3-3:30am!! Not the hotels fault, however right on the doorstep.

4. Being picky, the times displayed in both rooms showed evening meal at 7:30pm, when in fact the display board outside the restaurant says 7:00pm! (and food was served at 7:00).

5. We booked in as Bed and Breakfast, expecting as a minimum (as you would a travellodge/premier inn), tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Nothing! Tea/coffee only available in the restaurant (and have to pay for, unless you have with breakfast).

On the whole, staff very friendly. Would not return to this hotel as maintenance not thourough enough and basic facilities (tea/coffee making facilities) not provided and the noise outside at 3-3:30am every morning (not the hotels fault), interrupted our sleep.

La struttura sembra essere stata ammodernata di recente, la camera è ampia e funzionale ed è comodissimo il frigo in camera. La posizione è davvero comoda, si è in centro e si raggiungono facilmente i punti turistici più di interesse di Marbella, ma nel caso ci si voglia spostare si possono usare i taxi appena sotto o prendere uno degli autobus urbani alle fermate che si trovano appena dietro all'hotel. La colazione a buffet è principalmente salata, ma c'è da tantissima scelta, anche per la cena non delude, anzi è sorprendente non solo la varietà che è ampia (spesso sono presenti piatti speciali), ma è anche molto buona, soprattutto il pesce. Solo una nota, i piatti italiani sono buoni, anche se a volte hanno un sapore un po' diverso per via dei sapori degli ingredienti che cambiano un po'. Non si può non notare la gentilezza dello staff e la simpatia dei camerieri sempre attenti e disponibili. Infine vale la pena menzionare la piscina, non è molto grande ma può essere piacevole trascorrerci qualche ora.

Hårda, enkla sängar och absolut noll charm o dåligt utrustat rum. Inget schampoo o balsam, ingen vattenkokare eller kaffe/mjölk, dålig hårtork, lite rost i badkaret, allt kändes avskalat. Det fanns en konstig lukt av gammalt trots att hotellet är nyrenoverat. Frukosten var sisådär. Hyrde rum på ett 4-stjärnigt hotell efteråt ett kvarter bort och skillnaden var enorm. Men det var rent och personalen var trevlig, städningen var helt ok. Det gick an men inte mer.

Trevligt och enkelt hotell som vi återvände till för andra gången. Ligger centralt och är prisvärt. Det enda negativa är att det är otroligt lyhört, när grannen öppnar sin dörr tror man att man får besök. Varenda ljud hörs från alla håll. Som tur var det inte så livat denna helg så vi stördes inte så mycket av det.

El hotel es lindo. Está muy limpio. Queda en una zona buena si uno ca a hacer vida de playa. Para ir al centro, hay buses a 2 cuadras, y su recorrido tarda unos 20 minutos. En cuanto al desayuno, no está mal, pero no tiene variantes. Sólo sirven una infusión a elección del cliente, una ración de pan ó alguna factura y un vaso de jugo. Sólo eso es el desayuno.

Bra läge

Billigt och enkelt, men ett riktigt kanonläge. Nära både gamla stan och strandpromenad. Vi spenderade tre nätter på hotellet, den första på våning 1 precis vid hissen. Otroligt lyhört, det fanns en dörr in till grannrummet och vi hörde varje ord, nysning, suck därifrån. Även lyhört från korridoren och hissen. Dessutom ett avlopp som bubblade över och väste på vår toalett. Vi klagade och fick genast byta till ett betydligt bättre rum på fjärde våningen längre in i korridoren. Mycket tystare och fräschare. Skönt med takpoolen på eftermiddagarna. Enkel, men ok frukost.

Meget centralt liggende hotel ift. Old town Marbella. Personale meget hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var mangelfuld og uinspirerende.

Helt OK ställe, läget är bra, just när vi var där byggde man om vägen utanför vilket gjorde att det var lite krångel att ta sej in och ut.

Hôtel miteux

Séjour désagréable hôtel très bruyant chambres vétustes équipements hors d’usage saleté petit déjeuner très basique. Pas de wifi!!! Les photos du site ne reflètes pas la réalité . Je déconseille cet hôtel
