Excellent. Room and facilities excellent. Fantastic place. Next to tram. 10 mins direct into central gothenburg. Breakfast basic. If you are a group for breakfast probably better value to buy and cook your own - excellent guest kitchen. Supermarket nearby 1 stop on tram. Thank you very much.

Okay but not comfortable

Everything clean and in good state. Is not cold. Location was near my workplace but I wouldn't book here if I was a turist. Bathroom has little privacy, with common area for showers. Breakfast not impressive, including instant coffee and orange juice form concentrate that doesn't taste good. Small cups so you have to stand up multiple times. The room next to mine was quite noisy. Three to four youngsters living there, listening music, etc. Internet gets disconnected every time you leave the hostel and requires to accept terms and conditions again.

Rooms are clean and modern and hostel-style, so when you are booking a room you will have multiple beds in it. Also, if you can, bring your own linens as they rent them out to you if you don't have them.

Clean hotel and cheap considering the area

Care here you have to pay extra for bedding and a towel unless you bring your own. I have not had to do this elsewhere. If you don't use the linen they threaten to kick you out and charge you a fee for cleaning. Sleeping bags are not allowed. Tv was great though. It is only a 18min tram ride from the central station on route 7 or 11 which costs c £2.

Cabin in the city

My family really liked it. It is alittle cabin in the city. We felt like living in pioneer days. Bed can be improved as there is not a queen bed for the couple. Excellent service and nice staff.

For those bored of standard hotels

Nice Scandinavian alternative to a hotel. The hut was a bit small for 4 adults (1 bunk bed + 1 bed + folding chair), the kitchenette good. Cheap.
The rooms in the main building are probably closer to standard room.
Needs a car to get to downtown - but the tram stop is very close.

Helt ok boende. Det som drar ner betyget är att det var väldigt varmt på rummen samt lyhört. Tyvärr flera gäster som inte respekterade att det skulle vara tyst efter kl 23. Dörrarna går inte att stänga tyst utan de smäller igen. Sängarna var lite gnissliga och inte superbekväma. Bra kök.

Rolig og familievennlig sted, veldig hyggelig betjening og veldig god og koselig frokost. Rent og pent og og flott beliggenhet med kort vei til alt man trenger. Det var også trikk i nærheten så bil til byen behøves ikke selv om vi tok bil for fleksibiliteten. Gratis parkering utenfor vandrehjemmet.

Vi blev tvungna att byta rum eftersom den ena ö sängen i rummet gnisslade så mycket att ingen av oss fick någon sömn.

Mycket ofräscht på herrarnas toalett. Fick säga till om det.

Bytte upp oss till ett rum med eget badrum och då blev allt bättre.

Frukosten var ok, men inte mer än så.

Helt ok sted. Hyggelig personale. Køyesengene knirket noe voldsomt, og på morgenen fant vi et sølvkre på sekken. Ut fra bildene fått du inntrykk av at hotellet har et eget lekeområde for barn, men det har de ikke. Det var 800 meter å få til lekeplassen, som kan være langt for små føtter og for foreldre som kunne tenke seg en kopp kaffe mens barna leker.

Hade bokat 4-bäddsrum utan egen toalett, men det fanns toaletter med dusch i närheten av rummet. Både rummen och de allmänna utrymmen (toalett och kök) var välstädade. Det kändes fräscht. Enkelt att åka in till stan med spårvagn. Fina grönområden och lekplatser i närheten. Kommer boka detta igen.

Bra vandrarhem

Ett bra vandrarhem. Jag åkte själv så bokade eget rum med delad toalett och dusch. Det är separata rum för killar och tjejer och bås som man kan låsa både för dusch och toa. Hade föredragit olika rum för toa och dusch, men rent och fräscht så fungerade bra. Jag åkte under lågsäsong så var sällan andra kvinnor på toaletten samtidigt. Männen använde rummet ibland, antagligen för att deras var fullt. Men fanns ju bås så gjorde inte så mycket. Väldigt nära till spårvagnen som tar en till centralstationen på 10 minuter. Receptionen stänger vid 20:00, så är ingen på plats om något händer under natten.

Väldigt fräscht och rent, och gratis parkering direkt utanför boendet. Glatt överraskad och kan tänka mig bo här fler gånger! Enda negativa jag har att säga var att frukosten inte var värd 95kr, men den var också frivillig att välja.

Trevligt vandrarhem

Bra och trevligt vandrarhem. Ligger på gamla kassernområdet och är renoverade och ombygda logement. Fick lite flashbacks från när man gjorde lumpen. Vi anlänge sent på kvällen och det var inga problem med att checka in själva.

Hög standard men också höga priser.

Kvibergs vandrarhem håller betydligt högre standard och har bättre bekvämlighet än vad man vanligtvis förväntar sig av ett vandrarhem. Dock är priserna och betydligt högre än vad man vanligtvis betalar på vandrarhem, särskilt om man reser ensam eller bara två personer: om man ligger fyra i ett rum (de flesta rum är 4-bädds) blir det mera rimligt.

Bekvämt med dyrt.

Kvibergs Vandrarhem håller ovanligt hög standard, med bra bekvämlighet. Detta innebär dock att kostnaden snarare ligger på hotellnivå: 2-bäddsrum mellan 680 och 1100:-, beroende på datum är inte helt rimligt, även om standarden är hög! Annars finns inte mycket att klaga på; det enda som drar ner betyget något är att de bestick och annan köksutrustning som finns i det gemensamma köket verkar minska varje gång man är där: Visserligen kan man inte beskylla vandrarhemmet för att oärliga gäster knycker med sig bestick, en det som saknas eller går sönder borde ersättas: om man tycker att det blir för dyrt att köpa nytt kan man väl gå till Erikshjälpen eller annan loppis, där bestick kostar någon krona styck och glas/muggar obetydligt mera!

Begränsat men mysigt vandrarhem

Lite tråkigt rum. Våningssäng och en äldre liten platt-tv med enbart gratiskanaler. That’s it. Hade gärna velat haft vanliga toaletter istället för bås. Det stod spelrum, men var bara pingis i källaren, de påminde mig om en gammal skola där nere. Diggade dock uteserveringen utanför köket i källaren, trevligt att käka mat där haha. Men i övrigt, väldigt mysigt vandrarhem å trevlig personal.

Dyrt for 2* i Juli, men bra allikevel...

Vi kom veldig sent, knappe 10 min før resepsjon stengte, men allikevel møter vi en kjempehyggelig resepsjon som gir god hjelp og en sliten sjåfør kan nyte en kald halvliter etter å ha fått bagasjen inn. Felles dusj og toalett var helt ok, faller mye på øvrige gjester, så mulig vi var heldige. God plass på familierommet i 2.etg (216 var romnr)
Frokost neste morgen var liten men fungerte fint. Diverse frokostblanding, forskjellige brød/rundstykker og et lite knippe med pålegg. Varme og kalde drikker var det selvfølgelig også. En liten matsal, men vi syntes det var koselig. Generelt er prisene helt sinnsyke i år, så jeg reagerer kraftig på et vandrehjem til 1890,- for en natt uten sengetøy eller frokost (vi la til begge deler av praktiske årsaker, så totalen vår ble hele 2890,-!! for 1 natt!!) Alle karakterer reflekterer typen overnattingssted vi var på (vandrehjem), så dømmer utifra sine 2*...
Eneste store minus var den stive prisen!
Besøker gjerne igjen til en rimeligere pris!

Kanon för en helg.

Jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi hade rum med egen toalett och rummet var rent och fint, absolut lite åt det mindre hållet men det visste vi vid bokningen. Även de gemensamma ytorna som kök var jättefint och vi värmde välling i rena och fräscha microvågsugnar. JÄTTEGOD frukost med frallor, annat bröd, goda pålägg, juice, kaffe och te, yoghurt/fil och flera sorters flingor. Nära och bra till både spårvagn och att ta bilen till centrum. Tyst område på natten! Vi kommer att boka samma boende för nästa års resa då det var så prisvärt!

Lumgt område fina stugor dock fanns det lite att göra för ett gäng spralliga ungar utanför stugan, bonus att de låg en stor och rolig marknad bredvid öppen på helger.

A new experience for me

It has been a new experience for me as this hotel offers a different concept. You have to rent linen and towel. No cleaning of the room unless you require it and pay for it.
For me, the big advantage was the kitchen available for guests Very well equipped where you can cook your own meals. Fantastic for me as I'm on a very strict diet and can't usually find the correct food in normal restaurants.
Overall I had an excellent stay. The hotel is confortable, very clean and the staff very kind.
I was just missing a closet to keep my clothes, but the room is so small…

Trångt om man är 5 i ett rum med packning. Krokar på väggarna hade varit toppen.
Tråkigt att många sitter och röker vid entren.
Behöver köpa in småskedar till köket då det ej fanns några alls.

Det var ett helt vanligt vandrarhem, inget mer inget mindre. Det som dock gjorde vistelsen mindre njutbar var den väldigt påtagligt unkna lukten, gissningsvis urin.

15 min till Brunnsparken.

Helt okej rum med eget badrum, trångt med våningssäng, men fungerade, välstädat. Toppen att bilen fick stå kvar på parkeringen och smidigt med spårvagn till stan.

Obehagligt varmt i stugan och obekväma sängar. Lite väl dåligt utrustat kök.
Dessutom bodde vi mitt ibland ett större gäng utländska arbetare som festade, rökte och röjde runt sent på kvällen/natten. Inte att rekommendera till andra barnfamiljer.

Fantastiskt!

Jag hade en mycket bra tid på Kvibergs vandrarhem och stugby. Personalen var trevlig och det var städat och snyggt. Det var nära till mataffärer och matställen. Det fanns spårvagn nära boendet, som tog 10 min till Centrum. Jag kommer absolut komma tillbaka! *****

Fräscht vandrarhem!

Jättebra vandrarhem då sonen bor i studentlägenhet precis bredvid. Fräscha rum med sköna sängar. Nära till spårvagnen. Åt inte frukost men den såg fin ut. Toppenbra ställe om man bara vill sova för en billig peng.

Helt ok vandrerhjem

Vi sjekket inn på rommet like før 20:00 (vel vitende om at det ikke var mulig å sjekke inn senere - hvis du ikke meldt fra på forhånd)
Rommet var helt ok og kanskje høydepunktet med bra senger. Standarden var ok, kanskje litt stusselig bad (hvis du forventer hotellstandard)

Frokosten var ganske enkel og begrenset utvalg, men helt ok.
Tror det er viktig å merke seg at det er et Vandrerhjem og ikke et Hotell.
Fikk ikke mulighet å sjekke hyttene som ligger på tunet så kan ikke si noe om dem.

Alt i alt helt ok erfaring, rent rom - men også greit å merke seg at vask av rom ikke inngår (kan kjøpes, igjen hotell vs. vandrerhjem) - ei heller sengetøy (kan leies)

für eine solch große Einrichtung sehr ruhig und sauber, Parkmöglichkeiten, sehr nahe an der S-Bahn in die Stadt (Tagesticket kann direkt an der Rezeption gekauft werden)
