Clean room, modern facilities, easy to access with digital key, friendly staff, good location, bus ride is easy to navigate for first time visitors to the city or a short 20 minute walk into city centre. Value for money is excellent. We felt safe our entire stay, even when travelling late at night.

Wifi in the room did not work but we also didn’t bother to alert reception staff as we had international roaming.

Very happy with the facilities and would stay again.

It’s OK. Nothing more, nothing less.

The rooms were clean and functional,
Beds were fine but not easy to access on a mezzanine level.
But a mediocre location- it is a good way out of Gothenburg. There is a bus stop 400m away that goes into the city, and a tram stop 800m away. Otherwise it is taxi.

Godt indrettet studio med alt man har brug for.
Det eneste jeg savnede var “manualer” til div. ting. Den godt gemte knap der skulle tænde komfuret, koden til wifi der skulle findes i 2 meters højde ovenpå et højskab, køleskabet der levede sit eget liv - enten meget varmt eller frost.
Alt det kunne fint have været forklaret på et lamineret ark, der lå fremme i lejligheden og dermed sparet mig for flere ture til receptionen.

I was feeling positive about this hotel because it had good reviews and the pictures looked gorgeous but sadly that wasn't reality. I arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delays, and the reception desk was hard to find and the experience felt odd.
The staff were lovely, but the whole places was hard to find my way around... it looked nothing like the pictures - quite lackluster unfortunately.
The room, once I found it, I hate to say, but it gave the atmosphere of a motel. I booked well in advance so was confused as to how it could be so dirty. The bedding was cheap and white and looked like it had been slept in already. The furniture was also very cheap and poorly kept - I have a feeling this company spent most of their money on advertising because I just cannot believe how different it was to the pictures.

It was tiny, which I could have coped with, but there were large stains on 2/3 seats of the sofa which did not look appealing to sit on, the shower looked like someone pooped in it... there was black dirt around the inside of the windows when opened, so one could tell it had not been properly maintained for a very considerable amount of time.

Thankfully I had a friend with me to help with checking in, but I was alone I don't know how I would have coped. And this was visiting in summer where you would expect things to be more beautiful. I had no choice but to stay there the first night, but I sadly could barely handle that. Nothing felt clean. ):

nice alternative to noicy city center

Rally a positive Experience, Can rekommenderar this just outside the city center 20 minut walk to city center, reals quiert and nice and clever planed. Really nice.
Only little negative is that Hotels kind off over sell the Terese out to the waterfront its not really what you get we thourght we should have that view but that was not the case.

Good location and comfortable. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Nice public pool area right next to the hotel and only one stop by bus to the shopping area. But parking is bit expensive and it wasn't very clearn. When we arrived the floor needed vacuming, there were hair and dust on the stairway and dead bugs on window and curtains. We stayed 6 days and they were supposed to come and clean the room middle of the week but never showed up.

Don't choose this hotel!

We booked accommodation for three adults. One of us couldn't sleep because the sofa bed turned out to be a mattress directly on the floor with a wooden beam in the middle. The staff apologized, saying they had heard about this before!! No compensation! At 11:30 PM, we got an extra thin mattress. The ceiling height in the loft was so low that we hit our heads, and the staircase up was very difficult to climb as it was far too steep. The AC sounded like a storm.

We had an amazing stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit, taking time to answer our questions and help us navigate local transport. A special surprise was being upgraded to a larger room, it was such a lovely gesture, especially as we were celebrating our 10-year anniversary (which the hotel didn’t know about!). This was a meaningful trip for us, as our first holiday together was in Malmö, Sweden, and now 10 years later, we chose to return to Sweden to visit Gothenburg. Thanks to the amazing hospitality at Waterfront Cabins, this trip felt like a perfect full-circle moment. Gothenburg itself is a beautiful city, but it was the kindness of the people that truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff, we will be sure to stay here again if we ever visit Gothenburg in the future!

Very nice Young lady in the reception. The room was ok, but the heating system very bad. All the heat went upstairs in the sleeping space and it was impossible to get the heat downstairs. After we used the dishwasher once, there was a terrible smell in the bathroom. Therefore er left earlier - the day before.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le concept. Endroit très tranquille. Cependant le stationnement est payant et je trouve qu’il est éloigné. Pas pratique lorsque qu’on a des paquets à transporter. Tout était super. Sauf que c’est l’hébergement le moins garnis en articles essentiels et en coutellerie. Dès qu’un repas est fait, il fallait laver notre vaisselle car nous n’en n’avions plus pour le repas suivant. Il n’y avait aucun article essentiel pour effectuer nos repas. Même pas une poêle pour se faire curé un œuf. Si ça n’aurait pas été de cela, j’aurais mis un 5 étoiles. J’ai apprécié la proximité de la ville.

Den bäddsoffan som jag sov i har nog ingen provat innan man plasserade den i rummet, den var fullständigt vedervärdig att sova i.
Den typen av soffa behöver ni byta ut.
Sen var det inte mer än 16 grade i rummet när vi kom till rummet så det var väldigt kallt, speciellt på golvet, kompisen var tvungen att ha på sig skor för att inte frysa.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was nice, spacious, and clean. We also enjoyed the view of the water city from the loft bed. The hotel is not super central, but that's to be expected given how affordable it is. There's a nearby tram station, so getting to the city is easy.

Visiting Gothenburg with my 2 daughters. Accommodation was an excellent choice. The furniture and layout was great, beautiful decoration and gave everyone plenty of space. And the view of the city was amazing. However, the sofa was not very comfortable to sit on and too small to use as an adult bed. Also, was cold downstairs and very hot upstairs when the heating was on, as the hot air rises. Could do with an extra radiator/ heater for down stairs.

I would definitely recommend staying here, our apartment was extremely comfortable with everything you would need. I wasn't sure if the area was a good pick to start with, however public transport is constant with only a few minutes wait at any time and only one stop before entering the main area of Gothenburg so ideally located.

The apartment is very clean. The walls are quite thin and the fan sounds a lot from the ceiling. It is not really like the pictures, but similar. Not the cosy vibes but good. When I came the room didn’t have any linens or towels. But I was compensated with breakfast and the staff were wonderful.

Bra och trevligt lägenhetshotell i Frihamnen. Fanns Minigolf/lekparker för barnen i närheten samt allt man kunde önska sig i lägenheten. Jag och mitt barn trivdes utmärkt och skulle gärna återvända.

Ett stort minus dock för parkeringslösningen, en stor grusplan med stora hål som kostade ca 300kr per dag. Samarbete med Göteborg Stad bör upprättas så man får mer fördelaktig lösning.

Good location and facilities, but a few concerns

Stayed here for a long weekend, and there were issues from the beginning.
Firstly, the key code and apartment number didn't arrive as promised; guests download an app beforehand and then use their phone as a room key, but this information wasn't sent until after I sent a chaser email on the day of arrival. Also, at the complex itself the signage felt overly complicated, and it took some effort to locate my apartment.
The apartment was as described, but the combi oven didn't work. I reported this through the app and it was fixed the next day. More seriously, the lock on the bathroom door was faulty, and I was locked inside on the first day. Fortunately I had my phone with me and was able to call maintenance, and someone arrived fairly promptly to release me. But if I had been a more elderly or vulnerable guest and hadn't had my phone...
But my main concern was security. On the second night I was woken at 11pm by another guest entering my apartment, (having mistaken it for their own). As the only way to open the door is by using the app on a phone, this apparently means you could use it to open multiple apartment doors? That would make me feel very insecure about leaving any valuable belongings in my apartment.
The apartment itself was clean, modern and comfortable, and the location was good with a nearby bus taking you to the city in minutes. But overall it feels like the whole complex is fairly new and there are still quite a few teething troubles to be worked through

Ved ankomst, var vores lejlighed ikke rengjort. Vi ringede til deres service og de fandt hurtigt en passende og god løsning til os.
Phillips tv’ kunne ikke mirrorscreene med vores iPhones. Så vi kunne ikke bruge det til noget.

Hotellet ligger i ny byg, men nemt at komme med gratis båd til den anden side af Göteborg.

Vi kunne godt finde på at bo der igen en anden gang.

Saknas info och obekväm bäddsoffa

Rent, fräscht och prisvärt. Ligger lite avsides men lätt att ta dig med buss eller spårvagn. Rymligt kök, vardagsrum och badrum.
Dock är informationen vid bokning knapphändig och delvis felaktig.
Det står fel app för att kunna öppna dörren och information om utcheckning (att man ska diska och ta ut sopor) fick vi kl 15 när utcheckning är kl 11. Lite för sent.
Framgår inte att det är två öppna loft och inga riktiga sovrum. Eller att det inte är ståhöjd i sovrummet. Vi slog alla i huvudet.
Trappan till loftet är mycket brant och det var svårt att ta sig upp för den för en av oss som hade bruten fot.
Står att det finns husgeråd i köket men osthyvel, decilitermått, kaffemått och smörkniv saknas. Kaffebryggare fanns så hur ska man mäta kaffet är det tänkt?
Soffan är så obekväm att både sitta och sova i så vi fick sova tre i dubbelsängen då den som skulle sova i bäddsoffan fick så ont i kroppen av extrabädden. Snålt med tvål och schampo i badrummet då vi bokat för fem i tre dagar och bara fick två miniflaskor.
Personalen var trevlig vid kontakt och fixade osthyvel och lagade trasigt lås på toaletten samt list i badrummet kvickt.

Lovely new complex about a forty minute walk into Gothenburg central. Transport links are close by with trams regularly departing across the bridge. The apartment itself was easy to access using the waterfront cabins application. Bright, airy and clean with plenty of storage.

Please note there is ongoing building work which is to be expected as it’s a new developing complex. But will wake you up in the morning.

A 24/7 shop onsite however you require the Swedish Identification app so don’t rely on using this. Car park right nearby for around £15 a day.

Das Zimmer war gut. Der Schlafbereich hat eine etwas tiefe Decke, man muss aufpassen dass man sich nicht den Kopf anschlägt. Das Apartment ist komplett ausgestattet, dass man sich selber verpflegen kann. Kann ich nur empfehlen, ich hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Det var ett hemskt oväsen i studion som upprepade sig hela natten. Misstänker att det var någon fläkt till en AC. Gick inte alls att sova. I tvättmskinen var det massor av rester från hår och ludd.

Hotellejlighederne ligger godt i Gøteborg og er nemme at komme til. Vi ankom sent og den manuelle indcheckning tog meget lang tid. Værelset var fint udstyret og rene og pæne. Begge airconditioning larmede så meget at de skulle slukkes om natten. Udcheckning gik nemmere. For en enkelt overnatning var stedet ok.

We stayed with our Australien shepherd for 3 nights. It was a really good place to stay but not really prepared to host a Dog there. The Stairs to reach the top level were really steep and none of us (we are both 1,67m tall) could stand upright in the sleeping area. The AC is a little moody so if heating up its sauna upstairs and still cold downstairs. Still we liked it there and would stay again

Det är ett väldigt enkelt boende. Sängarna är på loft då man kan inte stå rak. Ganska dåliga sängar och kuddar och täcken av billigast kvalité. Vi valde detta boende för det var gångavstånd till Backaplan där vi skulle på en fest. Men vi kommer att välja annat boende nästa gång
