I had an absolutely amazing stay at the hotel. It boasts a unique atmosphere with authentic design elements that truly stand out. The room's decor features an open-space concept, which adds to the overall experience. The open-air bath and beautiful terrace made my visit unforgettable!

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Considering the price and amenities, it’s hard to find a better option.

we went as a family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) and booked 2 rooms with a terrace. I really can't find much to fault as the resort is fabulous with loads of beach beds and also around the pool. The rooms are great. The food is great. The location is great (approx 10 mins walk to Fisherman's Village). There are lots of typical Thai restaurants within walking distance (favourite was Spices). There are also 2 shops nearby (Super C and 7Eleven).
All of the staff are extremely helpful. The morning breakfasts were also very nice. I think the only small complaint I might have had was paying £15 for a burger but my daughter is picky and she loved them. I would certainly be recommending Karma to any of my friends who want to visit Koh Samui.

The Karma Resort is wonderful. We stayed for 3 nights and I would have no hesitation in returning in the future. Great room, villa with pool, excellent and helpful staff and with top quality facilities. I am happy to recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Koh Samui.

A fantastic stay. Breakfast was great. The rooms are beautiful, we had a room with a roof terrace and pool which we found to be really useful at times. Sunbeds are prebooking only. At times there were too many screaming kids in the pool which was a bit annoying, but we would take ourselves off to our own pool and sun terrace instead. Fisherman's village is a short walk along the beach, but very easy to get a Grab to take you around. Overall a lovely stay

Karma resort was a wonderful stay. The property was amazing and even better than the pictures. The on-site dining was so terrific that I didn’t need to even leave the property to eat. Their kitchen can also accommodate a gluten allergy which was great!

Property is close to many shops just outside the property and near attractions like Fisherman Village and Central Samui shopping mall.

However the highlight of the property is the incredible staff. They were there to help with everything. I even injured myself on an ATV tour and helped rebook and cancel subsequent tours.

We came here for our honeymoon and the hotel and staff were absolutely amazing. Everything was so easy, staff messaged daily to see if you wanted help sorting arrangements for the following day, rooms cleans etc. they were always on hand via the room phone to sort anything you need including room service (which was so quick!!!), taxis etc. The bar and restaurant is excellent too we ended up eating and drinking at karma a lot as it was so divine. Breakfast included was out of this world too. Honestly would come back again, we have had one of the best trips ever here and the manager should be proud of their establishment. Special thanks to all the staff at Karma for making our trip amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Quiet and peaceful, with excellent and friendly staff.
Walking distance to Fisherman’s Village, without the sounds of it being on your doorstep.
Our room, with its own pool, was only 50m from the beach, following a gorgeous tree lined pathway.
Highly recommended.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience here! We even tried to stay an extra night but they didn’t have availability. The resort was in excellent condition and the staff were always friendly. Having the restaurant right there was so convenient! My only recommendation would be for the resort to get plastic cocktail cups… you cannot take glass into the pool (understandably so), but would’ve been nice to have the option.

Villa had wow factor!

We stayed in a Jogglo villa, which was amazing! It had the wow factor as well as all the practicalities we needed. All the staff were super friendly and the in-villa smartphone is a great idea for making requests and communicating - and the response time was exceptional! The Bose Bluetooth speaker and complimentary spirits were also thoughtful additions which enhanced our experience.
The lead up/entrance to the resort lets it down but once in reception, or the other-side of the concrete wall in the oasis of the resort, it all makes up for it.
The fixed breakfast options were good however if staying longer this would have felt very restrictive.
Location is good for access to restaurants and massages etc, and Fisherman's village is just a 10 min walk via road or beach

This property is a good hotel just not a great hotel. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the bohemian vibe good but the bathrooms could use some work. Shower water pressure and drainage very poor. Also be careful at the restaurant… most of the staff exceptional except for Danny the French restaurant manager. Spent 4 days there and we were never acknowledged, I guess we weren’t important enough as we saw him schmoozing other guests….Disappointing!

We enjoyed every bit of our journey at the Karma Resort. People were nice, food was amazing, our villa was perfect, it is nicely taken care of, lots of little attentions. The only thing and it’s nothing that the hotel can change but when we tried to swim in the sea in front of the water there were lots of algue which we thought someone who wish to swim in the sea might find a bit disgusting, but the pool was there and perfect! Thanks to all the employees who made the journey a really pleasant one!

Not our best stay in thailand

Upon arrival we were very impressed with the service and our room. The hotels outside areas are very well kept, as was our room which included an outdoor seating area, and two large shower areas inside and out. The outdoor shower was so refreshing. The pool and restaurant area were nice also, and right on the beach. There were some let downs, our room was far too warm and we barely sleet. Our evening meal i. the restaurant was awful, although the hotel didn’t make us pay for one of the meals which was acceptable. There were a lot of mosquitos.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and great rooms!

So glad I picked this resort, it’s small but the grounds are ridiculously beautiful and detailed, infinity pool with beds and restaurant on beach really nice as well. Absolutely loved the room, very cool setup and roomy and loved the indoor outdoor shower. Easy walk down the beach to fisherman’s village and the happening bars at night. Walked entire beach area and felt this was the best place to stay other than maybe Anatara which is easily two times the price. This had better boutique feel to it though. Also awesome $12 hour Thai messages by the pool!

Beware of the steps the two steps from bed. Upstairs rooms also have steep stair for anyone with mobility issues

Karma is extremely picturesque, the design and detail throughout the resort is outstanding. Staff are willing to help, and very attentive. Rooms are beautiful - we recommend booking one with a private plunge pool as this was the perfect place to cool off. Spa services were quite expensive, but there is a cheaper option for massages just in front of the pool. Pool itself was perfect, with comfy options for lounging and a great ambience set by the resorts constant music. Restaurant and breakfast was satisfactory, nothing crazy - but good. But the view and vibes from the restaurant was very relaxing. Overall, you definitely get what you pay for here.

The terrace was completely useless as there was water from the rain everywhere
When we informed the reception, they told us that it needed maintenance, and they asked us to change the room and asked us to pay more or to pay less, knowing that the problem was theirs.
Also, the consultation takes five minutes and it stops working
Breakfast was not good at all
After paying for the massage, I asked for an additional amount because the person who did the massage changed to another type without informing me that there was a difference in the price, knowing that she does not speak English.
Also, when asking the receptionist about the nearby places, she mentioned that there is nothing nearby, knowing that when requesting a taxi, he told us that we can walk to the fishermen’s village through the beach.
Personally, I liked the decor taken from Indonesian culture
But it needs a lot to make the stay comfortable

The hotel is beautiful and in a good location. We liked the breakfast options available. However, the room amenities are lacking. There are no drawers or shelves in the wardrobe. No hooks or make-up mirror in the bathroom. We would recommend pre-booking a sunbed.

I brought my family to Karma Resort for two weeks and we had the best time! The staff make you feel like you've stepped into a vacation with extended family. Everyone was gracious, accommodating as well as funny and relaxed. We enjoyed getting to know the staff among the beautiful setting. Incredible place right on the ocean, with a pool, spa, outdoor massages and great food. The resort is small in a great way. The bungalows are spacious and very zen as is the entire resort. We walked to the Fisherman's Market several times where you can find any kind of food and shopping. The beach walk is gorgeous. I highly, highly recommend this resort for you and your family!

The resort location was nice as the neighborhood was walkable and had a lot of great restaurants nearby. We also really enjoyed the pool and restaurant at Karma.

The room itself, however, left a lot to be desired. It looks beautiful in the photos with the outdoor shower and rustic vibe, but in reality, the bathroom was quite gross. The only \"window\" in the bathroom was the door to the outdoor shower, which we had to keep closed out of concern for mosquitoes. Even then, the glass door for the outdoor shower did not have a gasket, so we had to keep the main bathroom door to the bedroom closed at all times to ensure that we did not get bugs in the bedroom. Because of this, the bathroom stayed very smelly and wet the entire time.

Also, the indoor shower does not have any enclosures and the drain was very slow, so the entire bathroom floor stayed wet the entire time, including the area around the toilet and sink. It sounds like a small thing, but getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and having wet/dirty feet every time felt really unsanitary. We were here for our honeymoon and had hoped for something more luxurious than this.

Beautiful resort but it is open for public use too

It is a beautiful resort and we did enjoy our stay very much but it does have some quite strong negatives too.
We went away as a couple and as its a boutique hotel we were quite surprised by the amount of children there. Very noisy children.
The biggest negative is that people can just come in and use the pool and sunbeds, which really should be for paying guests, therefore some days you come back after a day out and there is no room by the pool.
The hotel bar and restaurant appears to be a club house for french visitors who are not staying at the hotel and they take over a large area of the pool area. We found quite often you are relaxing by the pool then suddenly big crowds arrive and the pool is suddenly full of unattended children and lots of toys. You couldnt get in even if you wanted to. We would go back to our room earlier than we would have liked just to get some peace.
For such a small resort it seems unfair to the guests who have paid to stay to feel unwelcome by the pool.
The rooms are superb and the shower was amazing. We liked having our own small pool to cool down especially, as sometimes it was our only option as there was no spaces by the main pool.
The ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful as was the lovely lady in the restaurant.
We enjoyed our holiday very much as you are near the fisherman's village and short cab rides to other great places on the island but I was disappointed by the lack of courtesy given to the residents in the hotel.

Perfect place for a long weekend get away

Everything about Karma Resort was absolutely fantastic. Super smooth check-in, staff were exceptional, delicious (and very instagramable) food and fantastic selection of French wines. Our room was large, clean and had all necessary amenities, along with a small private pool. The resort is the just right balance between cozy and luxurious and just the perfect place and ambiance for a long weekend get away.

The resort is a delight. As you walk to your room you are surrounded by beautiful plants and fish ponds, while further into the resort the restaurant and infinity pool have a great view out over the sea. Everything about the decor has been carefully designed to make it relaxing and picture perfect. It is a bit of a walk along the beach to the Fisherman’s Village which could be challenging for another who is mobility impaired. But for anyone who loves a walk along the beach or a quiet break away in a relaxing environment, this place is wonderful.

The room is very spacious, beautiful decorated and very comfortable!!! The pool is wonderful, great to cool off, when sun bathing on the great bean bags.
The only thing that wasn’t perfect, was the sea. The water was not clean, and the sand a bit difficult to walk on

Kleines Hotel im Boho Style. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Tolle Bepflanzung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigenem Pool, sehr zu empfehlen. Sitzsäcke am Pool und Liegen am Strand. Das Restaurant war auch sehr gut. Beim Frühstück hat meine eine Auswahl von 6 zusammengestellten Arten von Frühstück. Extras kosten zusätzlich. Massage im Spa fanden wir qualitativ sowie auch preislich super. Am Strand wird auch Massage angeboten. Spaziergang zum Fisherman Village 15 min. Ruhige Gegend!
