Lovely location. Good choice of swimming pools. Well tended gardens and very pretty and relaxing. Rooms very comfortable with plenty of extras. Breakfast very good. Meal options all great, nothing disappointed. Staff incredibly friendly and enhanced the relaxed atmosphere. Easy to get to other resorts and airport.

We had an amazing stay - the staff were incredibly lovely and did a thoughtful gesture for me and my partner, which made it feel extra special. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the views of the beach (from the outdoor restaurant area) were stunning - we really enjoyed relaxing and unwinding out there. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had, with a variety of fresh fruit, delicious desserts and meals made by the incredible chefs! We also enjoyed the location and being so close to the beach. We loved this hotel and can't wait to come back one day.

The Staff at the hotel are super helpful, everywhere is spotlessly clean, there’s a great selection for breakfast and the gardens are delightful.

The distance from Fisherman’s was not as close as I thought it was but once we got over the main road it only took us 10 mins roughly to walk and there is a free hotel bus that can take you there and pick you up.
The hotel aesthetically is a hotel of 2 halves. One side of the complex’s architecture is modern and the other side is classic. But the hotel’s staff, the cleanliness allows you to drop any preconceived ideas (from social media) that the hotels modern side/architecture is what the whole complex looks like. And TBA I grew to love the classic side and its quieter side than my expectations.

My is the biggest disappointment with Celes Hotel in Koh Samui is the fact that the Hotel did not adjust the double charges made to my account for two rooms at the hotel for exactly the same dates. Celes Hotel has clearly avoided addressing and correcting this double booking. Jalal Naghib

It's overall ok. The staff are not consistently as nice as many Thai people, the breakfast had poor labelling, presentation was not as clean and details not thought out, staff not welcoming when entering. Overall this is an ok establishment. Can hear our neighbour from our room so that's not great we also paid extra for a Tropical room. Plus when we came to add a night they charges us double and refused to credit the difference despite their site showing a lower rate. Overall for mature adults seeking a high lever of service this is not the place to chose

Lovely pool villa overlooking the beach and ocean. Well appointed, plenty of space with a good bathroom too.

Lovely staff and great service.

Try the spa, we had a couples Aromatherapy massage and it was excellent.

Lunch restaurant - again, very nice, lovely aspect on the beach with great views.

Breakfast restaurant - my only suggestion would be to allow guests to make smoothies with fresh fruit. We went out of the hotel most mornings to buy smoothies instead of taking the breakfast options provided by the hotel. That said, I'm sure there's enough selection to satisfy most people.

On the whole, a fabulous little hotel, worth a visit.

Lovely welcome, perhaps a site map/ happy hour times / restaurant / spa deals/ info.
Our poolside/ beach view room 809 was perfect for family.literally 3m to the pool.
Breakfast was great - almond and chocolate croissants - were delicious.
Poolside service/ cleaners were lacking - but you could order from the nearby bar .

It was very overstimulating with speakers playing music all day, installed within every 10 meter at the hotel. We weren't able to listen to quiet or just birds, the wind or the water. Very disturbing unfortunately.
The room was spacious, but the bed was big enough for 4 persons, which means it didn't feel spacious.
The big pool was fun with different levels, but the pool water felt and looked dirty in all of the 3 pools. The beach was really not nice. The water dirty and like a swamp. I think probably ruined because of mass tourism, which is not the hotels fault, but just disappointing. We didn't like the area with the big loudy mainroad outside.
In my opinion it looks nice at the pictures and fancy pancy, but things are build very fast and doesn't really work functionally. Designed to look modern and luxurious, but to break down within some years. Just a tourist money machine, like many other resorts on the island. My greatest tip is to go for something less fancy and more authentic place.

We had a wonderful time in the Celes Samui.
Our room was very spacious and well equipped.
Free complementary soft drinks daily and a great choice at the breakfast buffet too.
The staff were very helpful and kind.
The hotel is located not far from the Fisherman’s village and it is walkable.
We never used the pool as there were only limited spaces in the shade but they looked nice.

Positiv: Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Wir würden aufjedenfall wiederkommen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Willkommensdrink. Sehr saubere Zimmer und immer gut geputzt. 3 Pools und alle sehr schön und sauber.

Negativ: zu harte Matratze. Wir hatten ein Zimmer an der Hauptstrasse und haben jeden Lärm, wie Motorrad und Auto gehört. Sehr ringhörig. Wechseln Sie doch bitte die Liegestühle beim grossen Pool. Die passen nicht zum übrigen Image des Hotels und lässt das 4 Sterne Hotel billig wirken.
Ein Schrank mit frischen Badetüchern bei jedem Pool, sowie die gebrauchten, würde die Arbeit für ihr Personal und für ihre Gäste einfacher machen.

Ok hotel . Not that cosy pool area or beach. There a definitely more cosy and better hotels for that price.

A bit lower on service side since they took 7000 bath to give 3h late checkout for my stomach ill wife .
And they didnt have new guests in either our or our childrens room . But i guess they know that when you are sick u pay whatever ....

Good to be aware that the “Tropical” rooms are on the older side and hotel photos do not clearly show that… we stayed in newer Deluxe Villa which was nice and quiet. Huge bed and comfortable bed and pillows. Front staff not super welcoming but it’s not like we spent time there… breakfast buffet was really good. Coffee maker in room only supplied one espresso each and did not make hot coffee (we let them know but no reply and not fixed). The vitamin water and pop in room was complementary :) Property seemed to attract a lot of younger people posturing at the infinity pool. There seemed to be kayaks but no info or help on using them - person in the area generally just shrugged. Drinks are somewhat reasonable priced IF you catch happy hour.

Worse and most unwelcoming and unfriendly attitude and service which I have encountered in Thailand (as a long-time frequent traveler and property owner in the country). The only nice welcoming people are the buggy drivers and waiters. None of my requests had been met, on the contrary!! Some of the property looks nice, but section which I stayed in is dated and on noisy main road even though I requested to be placed on a quiet part of the hotel. Breakfast is good quality.

Uninformed staff who do not have the same information as the reception staff. A message left on the bed to say drinks could be ordered for room service on a holy day only to be informed by bar staff they are not serving drinks. Took 30 minutes and many phone calls to eventually be served a drink.
I would say villa accommodation is the best value on the tropical side ,Rooms at the front of the hotel lots of people complain about road noise.
Breakfast excellent choice.. not enough sun beds around the pool would not book again.

Great location on the beach, quite far from Koh Samui and expensive for transport to Koh Samui. The water temperature was cold and needed to repaired and the still wasn’t warm.

Water had very small, fine brown particles floating on top when we went for a swim but no issues from same. Friendly staff. Easy to walk to restaurants nearby & massage places. Honestly one of the most beautiful amazing hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. The pool is stunning and extremely photogenic with the beach in the background as well. Very close to many cool restaurants and other attractions. We stayed here and then at mantra because we wanted to switch up the atmosphere and instantly regretted leaving. Celes i will surely return next time I’m in koh samui

A lovely quiet, relaxing, boutique style hotel in a great location and good value.
The breakfast was exceptional with a variety of multi cultural food to choose from.
The swimming pool area was lovely, very clean infinity edge pool with ocean views also great outdoor showers.
The room was a good size for myself and two teenage daughters but the bathroom basin bench top was tiny in comparison but that’s not uncommon.
We would definitely go back.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a pool villa for 5 days for her birthday trip
Overview: a medium-sized hotel (<50 rooms); newly renovated; overall a great experience
Location: hotel is located near fishermen’s village; convenient stores within walking distance; 10-15min (depends on traffic) to airport and major attractions (chaweng beach) by car; overall great location if you drive or don’t mind taking taxi
Breakfast: thai and international breakfast was served in the restaurant with less than 15 tables. great beachfront view. variety is not as good as bigger hotels but the egg benedict and thai noodle were great. Overall 5 star quality.
Pool: the view from main infinite pool was stunning but sometimes there isn’t enough sun beds for everyone since the pool is quite small. there is however direct access to the beach from the pool. there’s a sign saying no outside food is allowed which we think is just absurd but it appears no one cares.
Facilities: shower room available on check-out day
Room: Pool villa was spacious. the pool is accessible from bedroom and bathroom. the pool is big enough for swimming and it comes with jacuzzi. there is no sunbed outside but staying in the indoor daytime bed with windows wide open is good enough. has amenities that other 5 star hotels have, including free illy coffee and a bose bluetooth speaker.
Parking: Free (4 spaces)
Other: Since I notified the hotel beforehand, there is a complementary cake and the staff sang birthday song for us.

The room and facilities are very nice. The location is quite convenient. However, the staff are very new and not well trained. The language and problem solving skill they have are poor. I had to advise them when I wanted to book the yoga session. I was asked to not eat anything from the minibar or complimentary fruit from my room at the pool. I think this policy is ridiculous. I have been to many luxury hotels around the world and have never experienced this. Breakfast was not as much choices as I expected but ok. The Yoga instructor was very professional and helpful.

Absolutely loved staying at Celes. The rooms are super clean and modern and extremely spacious. We stayed two nights at the room with the pool facing the ocean and it was a perfect end to our stay in Koh Samui. We also had room service and the food was really delicious and had a lot more varieties on their menu. There are also restaurants really close by on the main road we went to for lunches and seven eleven is just outside as well which was really convenient. The walk to Fisherman's Village on the beach was also really lovely and only took around 20 minutes. Really enjoyed this hotel, would definitely recommend it!

Didn't like being charged for a glass we broke in the room- never experienced that before. Terrible smell of drains but I believe that's standard on the Island? Also despite saying there is private beach, its not private and there was no beach amenities- all the other less expensive properties had chairs and umbrellas on the beach- Celes didn't have anything.

Stayed here for 11 nights on the run up to the Chinese New Year, we were the only visitors from the UK with a few others from Europe, there was lots of very young kids between 3 and around 9 years old, some of them and their owner very noise away from the pool. The whole place, rooms and grounds is keep spotless and cared for, with very helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of good cheap restaurants within 10 minutes walk.

A relaxing vacation

We stayed at beachfront pool villa for 5 days. The room is clean and comfy. The pool is large, with high privacy and direct access to the beach within one minute. The resort has a very relaxing environment. Staff are friendly. There are many local restaurants along the road, but AK restaurant is our favourite, just a one-minute-walk from the resort entrance. The only thing I can pick on is the shower in the bathroom, the outdoor one next to the pool has proper water pressure.

Great place to start our Thai holiday!

Lovely hotel with super staff. Very quiet, not a party place, a good 10 mins walk to the fisherman’s village, for us it was a super start to our holiday. Rooms and breakfast were superb!

This has to be the nicest stay I've ever experienced. I actually feel guilty because we left in a hurry and forgot to tip the staff. We left in the wee hours of the morning around 5am and they had prepared breakfast for us to take!!! No other hotel I've ever stayed at has ever done that and for that they get a 10-star rating in my books!!
The room itself was extremely clean, comfortable and the outdoor shower was the best!!

Amazing staff

Beautiful spot for couples, pool has stunning views. The staff are so amazing they really make your stay! I loved this hotel the pictures dont do it justice. Breakfast is great two again with a beautiful view. Would stay again, again and again!!!

Brand new hotel where the staff make a real difference. The was some noise between the first storey rooms between the bathrooms.
The breakfast, whilst sufficient, is the smallest selection we have been offered in Thailand.
The hotel offers a number of free activities and we highly recommend the Thai language course. We had great fun and were taught phrases that were incredibly useful for our holiday.
