We stayed in the Lodge, there were a few cobwebs around. Staff very attentive and friendly. Breakfast ok, not great croissants, they were very soggy, cooked breakfast was good.

All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. Showed us around and explained how things are done with the bar, breakfast etc. even introducing us to their pet, Lionel the parrot. We were given a choice of 2 rooms to pick from. Rooms were very clean, plenty of storage area’s for your belongings. Good choice of tea, coffee etc, tall fan available to help in this warm weather. Iron & ironing board available if needed. Views were divine. Even had the option of sitting on a balcony near our room looking over the sea. They had a seating area out the front with sea view or seating area’s out the back with a large pond that had lots of fish in it.
There was a large lounge area with a big TV (next to the bar) where we were able to watch England ladies win the final! They even brought us some complimentary snacks to eat while watching.
Good choice of food for breakfast.
Will definitely be booking again hopefully in November for another family party.

A very friendly staff and nice breakfast but the room in in the lodge is not that comfortable no much space to move in the bedroom to go to the bedroom. There is a leak in the living area of water leaking on the floor which I reported it.it is not value for money as we found it a bit pricey for what you get.

What a treasure to find! This place was phenomenal, we stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed more. Th room was well appointed and the view was better. The owners were fantastic and eager to assist. We ended up coming back from dinner and watching a movie with them. Cannot wait to return to catch-up.

We had a great stay. The room was comfortable and had a nice view over the garden/Koi pond. The breakfast was great on both days. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Watersedge Guest House is in a great location, literally a few yards from the sea. The parking was ample and the whole experience was a fantastic stress buster. Highly recommended.

A long weekend in September
A long weekend after the schools had gone back, and essentially adults on holiday. This guest house has wonderful sea views overlooking the Solent and with the Needles in the distance. There is no obstruction to the sea view - there is a strip of grass about 100 feet wide between the road and the cliff edge. The guest house is great, staff couldn't have been more helpful. Like being among old friends, from day 1. Breakfasts were excellent, and if you want to bring in \"takeaway food\" for the evening , you are welcome to use the breakfast room. Also a bar for the extra little drink. Lots to see and do in the area, we had a great time. Visited Hurst Castle, Christchurch, Apple Court Gardens, Lymington. Found a great church (New Life) in New Milton.

Just a one-night stopover on business. Such a refreshing change from the bland big-name hotels. Easy parking, a very warm and hospitable welcome from Sylvie. Lovely room. Great breakfast. A lovely all round feel to the place and you're a stones through from some of the most beautiful scenes England has to offer. Can't recommend highly enough. For a night or a week's stay.
