Its name is completely misleading as it is far from a hotel or what you would expect from a hotel. There are no facilities whatsoever and more akin to a B&B, which would have been fine except for the smell.
I cannot recommend this place.

I was able to park right outside for no charge and was welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff, who carried my bag to my room. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfy with beautiful soft linen! I would highly recommend this place to stay.

The owner was delightful and helpful. I had booked a 2 night stay and later added an additional night in a different room to facilitate an early start for a course and avoid a long drive from home before a long day of learning. As space was available, I was offered the same room for all 3 nights which was really helpful.
The room was beautifully clean and the facilities perfect. I don't eat breakfast so cannot comment on the food, but it smelt delicious.
As a solo traveller I felt safe and welcomed
The only reason I have dropped a star is the night noise on 2 of the 3 nights. This was no fault of the owner who was also disturbed and dealt with the issue on both occasions. The fault lay with other anti-social guests and clearly the owner cannot control that.

These owners were very considerate of guests. The hotel building is older but our room was freshly painted and the bathroom was newly remodeled. I'm not sure why they named it the spa hotel. We didn't see anything relating to a spa there. Maybe it's a historic spa town?

A very good decent hotel offering what I wanted!

This hotel is very good indeed and in the room were two small bottles (still & sparkling) already supplied for use which I have never known in any of the hotels I have stayed in, along with the tea and coffee making facilities. The double bed was very comfortable. The shower was lovely with shampoo, shower gel and even hair conditioner. The cooked breakfast in the morning was very nice, along with the cereal options, toast, fruit juice and tea. I chose this hotel as it provided car parking, Well done to Raj & family!

I enjoyed my stay here other than it seemed like my room could have used a little bit more cleaning especially in the bathroom. The staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly. Parking is very very limited, they have like three or four spots. Thankfully one was open when I arrived. Other than the cleanliness issue of the bathroom, nobody was there at checkout time which was a bit disappointing. Overall it was a nice place to stay!

This is a basic hotel but the room with en-suite bathroom ,the hotel, the breakfast everything was very good and the bed was very comfortable!Theproprietor was excellent in attempting to make us comfortable in every way.We are an older couple .My husband is disabled and he was so caring and helpful to us to make things as easy for us as he could.Always there to lift and carry things for us.The location is perfect so close to the beach and nature.

Our one-night stay at Boscombe Spa Hotel was comfortable and convenient. The room was clean, and the service was friendly and efficient. We appreciated the amenities, including tea/coffee facilities with a kettle towels and soap dispensers (shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hand soap).

On check in we were offered breakfast, which we declined. Although we weren't sure if there was an additional charge, the gesture was appreciated.

A couple of minor observations: the signage on the outside of the building could use some attention, as the lettering was partially fallen off. Additionally, parking spaces seemed limited, but we managed to find a spot without issue.

Overall, a pleasant stay with no major concerns. Would consider returning for a short stay again.

Really friendly welcome when we arrived. Room was big with lots of space, plenty of wardrobe space and places to put suitcases. Plenty of coffee/tea on offer with a couple of water bottles which was nice. Beds were super comfortable!
Parking wasnt great (busy street so not hotels fault), when we arrived their car park was full so we parked on the street.

Raj was a pleasant host but the standard of the room was underwhelming. We were given the top floor room and the standard of the room clean but very basic. The bed was small and creaked every time we moved. The tv blocked out any natural light. The bathroom was not good the only good feature was the sink. Overall I would not recommend this establishment. They really need a rethink.

I was disappointed in this property and my room. The bathroom was very small and had a slanted mirror which made it hard to see to put makeup on. There was a cheap piece of wood that was barely hanging on the wall that was supposed to be a shelf in the bathroom. There was very limited power outlets in room and nothing close to the bed.

Boscombe and Bournemouth both seem to be becoming ghost towns with many of the shops and bars closed and becoming eyesores hopefully the local councils will step in and do something about it soon before they go past the point of no return. This is very much reflected in the property even though the owner was very attentive and helpful it didn't alter the fact that the room was very cold when I returned late at night and it wasn't until the morning that I was told there was a small fan heater in the wardrobe. I just assumed the large radiator was the heat source.

Not the worst, not the best

The staff were friendly and showed us to our room. I believe there were only stairs to each floor. The rooms were a little dated. The bed was quite hard if that's something you prefer. I also had a little trouble with the temperature in the shower in the mornings (it wouldn't stay at one temperature). For the money it's ok and it's in the good location for boscombe and the beach but not sure I would stay there again.

I made a last-minute booking at the Boscombe Spa Hotel. The owner was welcoming, which set the tone for a pleasant stay. My room and bathroom were both clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The full English breakfast was great and a great way to start the day.

There were a couple of minor issues: the Netflix didn’t work during my stay, and the bathroom radiator seemed to be out of order. Neither was a huge deal, but they were a bit inconvenient.

Overall, I had a lovely stay, and I’d definitely consider coming back.

The owner and his wife were lovely and welcoming on arrival. My room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Whilst the bedroom walls were relatively thin, I had no problem sleeping. I would thoroughly recommend Boscombe Spa Hotel as an affordable place to stay, within walking distance of the sea.

I read about the reviews of the room and hotel being outdated. Looks like they have painted rooms and put in modern flooring. Definitely feels new and refreshed. There was a repair on the sink but poorly done. They need to be repaired professionally with porcelain repair. Hotel staff were amazing I forgot my charger and they gave me one. I will try the breakfast next time as they have a lovely breakfast room very big and smelt great in the morning. I will be here again next year for sure as I got parking and it was easy walk down to the beach at Boscombe Pier. Beds are comfy and boys loved their bunk bed. And the shower is amazing! loved it!

What an incredible stay here! The location is fantastic for the beach, the hotel was clean and the features in the room were beautiful, not to mention the fact we were able to check in early and were helped by the lovely woman who was working at the time who informed us of the air show which made our sons trip! We have already decided we will be returning again next summer for the air show! Thank you once again for a brilliant stay!

Property is a typical seaside family run B&B. Our room was clean and had a recently re-fitted modern on-suite with soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. actual room was roomy with TV, tea and coffee facilities, wardrobe and plenty of drawer storage. Free wi-fi fast enough for e-mails etc. Very clean and no smells! Hosts were friendly and accommodating. General area felt safe but central Boscombe with few exceptions is a bit run down like many seaside towns and attracts the growing population of the sadly less fortunate in today's society. Watch out for electric scooter riders who tend to ignore all traffic laws. Beach huge and sandy and nice walk to central Bournemouth lass than 2 miles away along beach or tarmac pathway. Would stay again without hesitation and might try the breakfast next time which both looked and smelt good. Wish them both well with their new venture which is still a \"work in progress\".

Although the location looks a little run down it is only a 10 minute walk to the lovely Boscombe beach.

We searched for avacation unit with kitchen and parking. The kitchen was listed in the description, but there was no kitchen. However, as a concession the person who ran the \"hotel\" allowed us to use her kitchen, which she uses to prepare breakfast for the other guests.

There are 14 rooms in the building, but only parking spaces for five vehicles. When asked about the shortage was told there is also on-street parking. But the street looked pretty full. We were lucky, because the hotel was not full.

The double rooms are small and the bedding is not to the hotel standard. The douvet was synthetic. Also,1 there is no heating, so we asked for and received a small fan heater.

The staff were excellent, warm, friendly and would do anthing they could to make our stay enjoyable.

The location is good, 10 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins walk to the town centre.

No contact from hotel at all…..had booked for stay and put in wrong week wanted to rebook for following week…..called numerous times through the day and night and phone line rang out what hotel doesn’t have an answer phone these days ??
Ended up having to email to try and get them to reply but nothing. Will never be booking here again

Wonderful host, room was clean, lovely and quiet, and I had a comfortable nights sleep. Short walk to the beach and pier. I got a ‘Too good to go’ meal in the evening from the local Harvester (Neptune) for tea. Free parking at the front (first come first served basis). Thoroughly recommend 🌸

Lovely big room, windows had been open so cool despite being the hottest day of the year! Plenty of tea,coffee etc. very friendly and helpful owner, who looked out for a free space when I was getting stressed trying to park! He also gave me a coffee after my triathlon when I returned to my car after 10am even though I’d checked out at 6am!
Easy walk to beach or town and nice cycle over to Bournemouth for an early morning triathlon.
