Service with a smile. Room decor calming, bed soo comfortable. Food well deserving of the rosettes. Professional and courteous service. Lovely breakfast. Great vegetarian options. In walking distance of the city centre, beach, and ocean view walking path. Will definitely stay again. Your staff are a credit to you. Oh. Enjoyed the pantry goodies on the first floor landing. The shortbread cookies went down a treat with a cup of tea.

Apparently I have to write something. We had a v pleasant one night stay. Off season so we got a good price and t then got an upgrade! Breakfast was exceptionally good. Avocado w poached eggs was best ever! v helpful staff. The one draw back is that parking is an extra charge.

Had a very poor experience at this hotel. I had booked and paid for my room in advance, but when I arrived to check in, I was told that the room had been given to someone else. There was no apology or acceptable explanation, and the staff seemed unprepared to resolve the issue I expect guaranteed room after pre paying.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, great location, nice room and the lady on reception was lovely. This hotel had the best pillows on the bed than I have ever had in a hotel, they were so lovely and soft and the bed was very comfy. Lovely bathroom and loved the bath in the bedroom. On the negative side there was no fridge for the fresh milk that they gave to us. The room was very dimly lit (plus one lightbulb was out) so it was hard to do my make up. I ended up doing it in the bathroom as it was brighter in there. All in all though a lovely stay and would go back again.

Lovely small double room, would be very hot in the summer with no air con, but cosy in the autumn & winter. Good shower. Tea & coffee provided with a flask of milk each day if you ask at reception. A bottle of still & a bottle of sparkling water & a jar with shortbread in the room. A good breakfast. Great location, 10 minute walk from the Pavilion Theatre & pier. Definitely stay again. Parking £10 for 24 hours.

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The room was good, very comfy bed and there was a freestanding fan unit for hot weather. Lovely walk in shower with shampoo and shower gel and plenty of soft towels.
There were tea and coffee making facilities and complientary bottles of water, plus homemade biscuits in the room. If you needed more of anything you could get it from the reception desk. The free wifi worked fine all over the hotel.
There was ample space in the car park, you need to enter your car registration and pay reception for the parking when you check in. It cost us £10 for each 24 hour period.

The restaurant looked very good but we only had breakfast as we were out in the evenings. Breakfast consisted of continental style choices plus you could also order a freshly cooked dish too. I can recommend the omelette it was very good, so was the full english option.

If you turn left out of the front entrance, go to the end of the road and turn right, you will find yourself at the top of the cliffside. From here you can walk down into the edge of town by the pier. It took us about 15 minutes to get down to the pier. It is steep coming back up so took a bit longer, my mother who is 83 years young managed it without issue.
If you turn right out of the hotel front entrance, a couple of minutes walk, at the end of the road is a bus stop, so you could also get a bus down into town.

The hotel staff were very friendly and gave great service. We will definately return.

Spent a night at the Green House - it was fine; did the job, not spectacular but fine. Pricey for what it is but I guess it’s Bournemouth in the summer. Surprised to be charged extra for parking - usually expect parking to be included.

Fantastic hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful. All the communal areas (bar/restaurant/reception/gardens) were very high standard. Rooms (we had small double) were exactly that, well appointed and small. The goose down pillows were extremely comfortable as was the bed.
4 x 22kwh electric chargers in the car park at a reasonable 59p/Kw

Great Hotel in perfect location, lovely staff.

We stayed for 3 nights at The Green House. We arrived early so we could have lunch in the restaurant it was delicious. Our room was luckily ready early so a bonus.
Perfect quiet location in a leafy road 10 mins walk from Beach and pier etc
.The most comfortable bed and pillows ever !!
The staff were all wonderful , Alex and Luca were outstanding, so helpful , friendly and professional, thank you guys.
The breakfast was very good lots of choice, the The Green house smoothie was so tasty and the fresh juice was good quality.
Excellent service in a lovely dining area. The bar lounge where we also ate one time was welcoming and cosy.
Overall a very nice place to stay.Would recommend to friends and family and definitely return.

Only one very slight negative comment was the gardens could be tidied up a bit and the garden seating could do with up grading. But the outside space was a nice place to relax in.

A lovely Victorian building in a quiet area of Bournemouth, parking available at £10 per 24hrs in hotel grounds. There is on street parking around the hotel a short walk away. Easy walking to the beach (via zig zag path, this is steep, however manageable) and the city centre in 10-15 mins.
Our room was great, second floor, large king-size bed, sofa and an extra bed for my daughter. The bath in the room as a huge hit, the shower was large with plenty of warm water. The shower gel, bubble bath and handwash smelt divine. We loved the fact the hotel was plastic free! Breakfast was lovely, a choice of continental and then a cooked choice, we had avocado, poached eggs and sundried tomato. The hotel seemed set up very well for couples/ adults it was very peaceful. I stayed with my two children (aged 7 and 16yrs) we didn't feel out of place, the location suited us perfectly and the bath is still talked about a week later! I would absolutely return, perhaps next time with just my husband to make the most of the peace and quiet!

Parking was really good and such a good price of 10 pound for 24 hours was greeted by a lovely staff member and was quick and easy for check in was lovely and quiet would defo come here again it’s only a 2 min walk to the beach and a 15 min walk to the pier and a 17 min walk to the town centre I stayed for one night but would of loved to stay longer I got home today and already missing it was such a nice place !

Lovely small hotel. Walking distance from the town but quite hilly on way back. Taxi was £6 so not bad if you don’t fancy a walk back.
Breakfast had a good selection including choice of cooked breakfast.
A bit noisy due to party and guests drinking outside but reception did move our room and was very quiet after 11pm.

Bed / pillows a bit soft side but that depends on preference but was clean and comfortable.

Hotel was very clean and well maintained.

Parking is available but at the cost of £10 a night which wasn’t mentioned at time of booking.

Given The Green House announce themselves as a place very focused on sustainability, I was very disappointed to see that the food options didn't follow that criteria. There were just a few vegan options, but the majority of them all involved animal-derived ingredients. I expected to see more of a push to focus exclusively on vegetables. Even the cookies in the room contained butter in it.

The staff was very friendly though. I appreciate that.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The shower wasn't great. The shower head kept on falling from the hook, but this was a minor issue.

It’s sadly gone downhill

The hotel is clearly in need of some investment. The staff were friendly and nice but being a returning guest we were sadly disappointed at a number of things.

The hotel did not have hot water from around 3pm on the Saturday until our departure on the Sunday. These things happen but there was no communication from the front of house staff as to the problem or any resolution they were seeking.

Our room then had water coming through the ceiling during the night and so the night manager moved us to a new room and stated we would be credited for that night. He was helpful and friendly but did state they had that problem the previous week so it was a known issue.

We ate at the on site restaurant on Saturday. For a two rosette AA rated place it was at best average and not worth the money. It wasnt helped by poor front of house service. For the wines they only had 2 of 5 available as bottles and when we asked the waiter what the wine was like he didn’t know. The food was generally ok but we had better at a standard Restuarant the night before and then whilst we were still eating one of the staff started to spray and clean tables just a few feet away, clearly they didn’t want us to enjoy the desert or have any after dinner drinks.

At checkout on the Sunday when we raised the issues the assistant manageress tried to fob us off with free parking for all the issues, then stating she couldn’t credit us due to not booking directly. Thankfully we did get our credit.

We had paid nearly £400 for a 2 night stay for our 1st year wedding anniversary. We paid for the most expensive room to treat ourselves for our first wedding anniversary. It was lovely upon arrival with petals on the bed, a congratulations note and some chocolates. The staff were lovely, they also congratulated us upon arrival too. There were a couple of issues with the room, considering the pice, the bed was 2 singles pushed together, this was not mentioned on the description. The shower head in the shower was not fixed right to the point I had to tie some hair bubbles together to tie the shower head up right so I was able to have a shower. Sadly the boiler packed in on the 2nd night of our stay, we were unable to get showered before we went out for our anniversary meal. We was only able to use the bath once because even though the boiler problem was sorted on the 2nd night stay, it wasn’t working the morning we were leaving, when again, we wanted to make use of the bath. Our room was also next to the cleaning cupboard in silver birch, where the cleaners when into at half 7 both mornings where we struggled to have a lie in. Although the staff were lovely & welcoming, for £400 for 2 nights, I believe the hotels wasn’t worth the money considering the negative points.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. A warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant food was excellent and service good. Plenty of choice for breakfast although had to ask a couple of times for things to be replenished. Convenient for the train station and the seafront. The room was small but comfortable. Our only complaint was that our shower control was faulty and resulted in water far too hot, we did mention it but nothing was done whilst we were there.
Would stay here again.

It was a nice hotel and the staff were super friendly and helpful However the room could have had a few more additions eg the kettle and cups were on a trolly in the wardrobe but to boil the kettle you had to plug it in on the floor' Also there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom.
Also the tv chairs were very uncomfortable. A small sofa would have been so much better.

Room 1 was OK - although the pillows were flat. Room 2 was an issue - a tiny bathroom, flat pillows and right above very loud music until 1130pm making early sleep impossible.

The shower is in the room, not in.a separate room, which wasn't ideal and not explained when booking the room. The room fills with steam.

Faulty charger

Don’t charge your car. Charger is faulty and damaged another car’s EMS. My car refused to charge due to ungrounded equipment. Service did not acknowledge or accept but allowed me to use my three pin. Otherwise comfy clean and decent breakie.
