I was check-in relatively quickly and allocated a double room on the top floor with a view of the sea. The room had a fridge freezer and a kettle and 32\" smart TV and a sofa, which I was impressed about for a two star hotel.

Great stay and ideal location in the centre of Bournemouth Town centre.

Room was vile mould on carpets and walls damp all over fridge not plugged in as no sockets around it curtains didn’t fit window room wasn’t a deluxe family room as asked for and pics wasn’t of the room we was in

Sad old place to avoid

Sadly a very very run down and badly maintained hotel. Peeling wallpaper, stained walls, sticky patches on carpets, bedding that seemed to be made from some kind of disposable material like you get in hospitals and shower door couldn’t shut so water poured everywhere when showered.
Worst hotel I have stayed at in the area (out of about 10-12 over the years).

Arrived with limited parking. Had to wait for a pace and even then very cramped. There was an altercation between owners and guests over an alledged burglary. Guests claimed they saw CCTV of an intruder entering via fire escape next to the room my daughter and I had just checked into. Didn't feel safe even if the owners claims of it all being a scam was true. In all fairness, they authorized Expedia to issue a full refund and we were able to relocate. The hotel wasn't the cleanest and didn't smell the freshest either so we had a lucky escape. Bathroom light didn't work, was pitch black but it did have a fridge in the room. Wouldn't go back even though we didn't stay in the first place.

The room was dirty, wardrobe full with dust, the bed sheets had hair and other stuff and not a clean and fresh smell. The bathroom was dirty.
I never had this expereince before.

4 night stay

Though Id booked through Hotel.com and paid 5 days earlier they didnt know about me??
I was offered another room a suite instead of single room, then later I received a call asking I move again into another suite.

The suite was plenty large eniugh for person of course. Bed comfy but wardrobe handle missing, a chair had paint on it, kitchen area, a used sandwich package was wedged between 2 units.

Outside it was dirty leading to my room, emoty plastic bittle, sabwuch pachaging on floir, needed sleeping.
White upc windows dirty not washed.

A old carpet rolled up at side of building, also an old stained mattress as well just left.

The owners though were polite, friendly and meant well but the hotel is run down and standards need to go up.

The room I booked isn’t available when I arrive. I was sent to a different hotel which is a few minutes walk. There is no keys for front and room door. It took over an hour to get a spare keys. Couple of time I was given a set of keys that doesn’t work.

Stay away from this hotel.

Disappointing

The reception staff was polite but that is the only positive comment I can give. There was no duvet or sheets on the bed, only a dry clean bed cover without a removable cover. I questioned the reception about the lack of bedding but they assured me that they cleaned the cover. I asked for a minimum of a sheet but had to wait over an hour before it was delivered. By then it was after 1 am. The room we had was by the reception and very noisy. The room and bathroom was very dated and the bath tub panel had been taped back on.

From arriving there was an issue with language and lack of understanding in their own processes. Eventually got a room to find th TV did not work. Window in room could not be secured and looked over a lower extension. No secure t all. Given a larger room and T still had issues with reception, not many channels available. Carpet lifting off floor and bathroom taps when turned on they had no adjustment for cold so went very hot with no way to adjust. Stairwell carpets thread bare. lift lights were broken so if you used th lift you were in complete darkness, staff were aware but nothing was being done about it. Empty bottle of wife left on 3rd floor corridor for duration of stay showing no staff went up there cleaning or otherwise. Place over all very very tired. So aside location there was nothing positive to report

Bathroom very put dated n repairs made to bath, basically a new suite needed shower full of limescale not clean my son would even use the bathroom no bets or blinds in bedroom very weird smell in the place dust under bed may be OK for workmen definitely not family

Not what they sold me

The hotel itself is alright, but I didn’t get the room what they sold me. I asked expedia how my room looks like, but the room what I get wasn’t that one. It was a really small room, they told me it is a big room whith a separate bedroom front room with twin bed and a shower room.
I am disappointing because it was not what I paid for.

Good price close to the sea but needs work

I stayed here for 3 nights. Housekeeping came once during the stay the bathroom appeared clean but upon going for a shower you could see dirt around the rims of everything i had to clean the bathroom before i could myself. The bed was soft but i liked it. We couldnt use the pool room or balcony because they had alot of materials in there for works being done so it was closed and the same for the restaurant there just wasnt one they offered us to cook our own food in the kitchen but there was no restaurant which for us was fine as we found a lovely place down the road. Other then that we enjoyed ourselves and would probably go there again due to price and location.

Bed was comfortable but could do with a deep clean

If room come with breakfast then it would be worth the money , bathroom shower was very limescaled and I could wipe water marks with my finger what told me one thing... toilet didn't have no toilet cleaner visible so wasn't sure if cleaned, all mirrors was marked up and pretty sure towle heater didn't work. Deep clean needed! Bed was very comfortable had a lovely sleep. Could of done with a lamp as we had two lamps on wall with one missingl light bulb that I found in the draw later on. I had to fill the Kettle up by filling cups as the sink was to small to fill the kettle up. We had 4 tea bags 4 sugar a couple of coffees I would have expected more considering there was no breakfast included. Apart from all that good location to the beach and a comfortable bed.

Convenient location, but thats as good as it gets!

We booked a stay at Bourne Hall as were going to see Gary Barlow at the BIC. We didnt realise at the time how close the hotel was to the venue, but it is literally a 5 minute walk away. But as my title explains, that is the only good thing. The room was terrible to say the least. The walls were covered in dirty, greasy marks, Paint marks over the very well worn carpet.The bed was probably the cheapest available. The toilet pan had a massive long crack in it and was also quite loose when sat on. The floor tiles in the bathroom were also quite slippery, especially on barefoot. We went to the gig, and on returning we finally decided enough was enough and checked out without even staying the night and decided the drive back home of an hour or so at 11:30pm was preferable to staying in a dirty, uncomfortable room. And as is noted in another review for the hotel, for the room price you would expect alot better. They are clearly charging a premium for the location, but the money isn't being used to improve the condition at all! Needless to say, we will not be visiting again and would warn anyone against staying here!

One night stopover after boat, reception friendly enough, but carpet going up to room old and dated. Room was small, old decor, dated, not very clean and bed overly soft from my point of view. In the morning the was no option for breakfast of any kind, one website had spoken about there been buffet but maybe this was confusion or something from times gone by. Overall it was a bed for one night but won’t stay there again.

Good location if you are mobile due to a steep hill but in need of a complete refurbishment to bring it up to date and in need of a safe working shower eg thermostatic control shower. Due to the unsafe shower I was unable to wash my hair because it was either scalding water one minute and freezing cold the next.

A nice, fairly beach-close Hotel, currently being refurbished - so not much going on in the hotel. Friendly, welcoming staff. Would NOT suit anyone with walking problems as the return from the main beach area is up a very steep hill. Definately would stay there again.

Reception tappade bort nyklarna till rummet, fanns inga lakan i sängen, basrumsfönstret fick man tejpa fast för att det skulle vara stängt.

Complètement nul. La moquette n’a pas été aspiré. A 5h du matin on y voit comme en plein jour et la nuit la façade de l’hotel est éclairé par une lampe bleu en plein sur la fenêtre de la chambre. Une vitre était cassée. C’est bruyant. On est couvert de boutons car on s’est fait attaquer par des puces de lit. On a quand même payé 250€ pour 2 nuits, c’est honteux !
