Rooms were very nice and comfortable. We had to leave at 7.30 so could not have breakfast as service started at 8am. Pub part felt soulless and having to sit and drink whilst staff have finished their shift and were chatting to working staff spoilt the quiet atmosphere. To me it felt overpriced for the product we received

We really enjoyed our stay at the Walhampton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient with assisting in our requests. This is a great place to stay to experience the local town. You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break!

Great except for one thing - they were closed from 3 to 5 in the afternoon with no way of getting a key to our room.

It would be useful if they could devise a system so that keys are available in this critical time in the afternoon so that people can gain access to their room and relax before the facilities open at 5 PM.

A very warm welcome at the reception. A really nice room which was very well presented, clean and all the necessary amenities. If we are nit picking, the only thing missing were a box of tissues in the room or bathroom! We had a really nice freshly cooked breakfast in the morning. All round, very good.

I was visiting for one night with my son, as pert of a visit to the nearby motor museum and couldn't have stayed in a nicer place. Menu was a bit different, service was excellent, room was perfect and the breakfast was just right.

Everything was really good with our stay at Walhampton Arms last night! We were welcomed when we arrived to check in! We ate our dinner in the restaurant (I really like the small portions available for people like us who have smaller appetites) and breakfast was brilliant this morning! Set us up for the day, which we spent in and around Lymington before driving back home! All in all a lovely stay at the Walhampton Arms. Thank you!

The room was fine - very spacious. Very friendly staff. Cooked breakast good although if you wanted something smaller or healthier, no prepared fruit or croissants.
Being just outside Lymington, a lovely little town and the New Forest close by, it was a very convenient place to stay

Very pleasant English pub with rooms. Friendly staff, good food especially fresh cooked breakfast. Good parking and overall a successful night away with dinner etc. My only disappointment is that £250 for B&B single occupancy felt excessive hence 4 out of 5.

Very well appointed hotel for staying in Lymington

A lovely practical room on the ground floor (as all rooms there were) with everything I needed for a good night's stay. The bathroom had THE most sensible shower I've ever experienced - the controls set apart from where the water descends on you so I could get the temperature and flow right before starting to shower! (why isn't this standard in hotels?). Lovely helpful staff and I liked the atmosphere of the place.

A nice place to spend the night when you are on the go. Rooms are small but authentic and very clean. No extra “spoiling” stuff there but everything you need exists.

Attractive and Great Rooms which look like they have been refurbished. Great Shower with large overhead in roomy shower and bathroom.
Large King Size bed very comfortable.

Stopped for one night. First impressions - the Walhampton Arms is a very beautiful structured building. Nice friendly staff. There is plenty of seating and a nice dining area. There was plenty of choice for the dinner menu, but l felt it was very limited for the breakfast. And found my egg was a bit greasy, maybe that's because it was fried quickly as we came for breakfast just before closing. The rooms were spacious, but being ground level, I felt l couldn't really leave my window open at night, so I just had the smallest gap. The room can get stuffy very quickly but thankfully there was a fan in the room. The Walhampton Arms is nice and close to the centre of lymington quay and towns market (that was a treat, fantastic stalls) and museum.

A very nice room and very comfortable. However the service was poor upon checking in, terrible choice of beer (bearing in mind it’s a country pub), the bar shut at 3pm and I asked if I could order food and was told they had shut the kitchen (approx 2.30pm). In the end we Went down to the local town and spent all of our time and money their instead!

The Walhamton Arms was ideally located for exploring the area. A five minute walk into Lymington centre. The accommodation was clean, cosy and tastefully decorated. Added bonus that rooms were away from the main building as staying with our dog. On site bar and dinning . Good selection of meals which were tasty and well presented. Bear in mind of possible closures of restaurant facilities but plenty of alternative options in Lymington. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good quality breakfast. Would certainly stay again .
