Property and the staff was excellent. We were in a room with a loft and from the loft you can go through a small door to an outside roof patio. The shower in the bathroom was interesting since it did not have a shower door. Naturally the floor was soaked the first time it was used but we adjusted and wasn't an issue thereafter. There was a car lot about a 3-4 minute walk which was great since it was a little difficult finding a parking space near our place. A small market and laundry facility were a few hundred feet away which was very convenient. Restaurants and shopping all within a minute or two away as well. A definite winner and would go back if we're ever in Santorini again.

I really enjoyed this stay and would book here again! The hotel is a minute or so walk to the fira central square. About 15 min drive from the airport. The receptionist was so nice and friendly. The room was very clean, had fresh towels, amenities as described. No issues with this place. I like how they have a folding hanging rack with clips in the front patio for clothes or towels to dry.

Lovely area, it was right next to the fira market and the central bus station making it very convenient. Our room was lively, with the jetted tub outside, making it lovely to relax in. The location of the hotel was excellent! Highly recommend!!

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to everything. Reception was helpful and accomodating. One thing to say was it was hard to actually find the hotel. There are no real addresses. So when we were dropped off our taxi pointed to where we needed to go. Very easy. The hotel is located next to laundry. So that was our landmark where we knew to go. We will stay here again...except, will book the room with the pool. Thanks for a great stay. Price was great also.

Great location and spacious! Check in and check out was very quick. There is a market down the street and the room was clean. However, be aware with the hot tub room that the 2nd floor bedroom does not have AC and the living room air does not reach it. You also cannot have the air running if you have an open window so if the window up top is open the bottom floor then also becomes too hot. I would consider a different room if you have difficulty sleeping in hot climates or don’t want to leave the windows open due to mosquitoes.

Everything was perfect! The lady on reception was so kind and friendly and made sure we could check in past their opening times. I think we arrived at 7:30pm and there was a note left with clear instructions on how to get into our room. The bathroom was immaculate and very big! This is a little gem in Santorini Thira (Fira). Ideally located just few steps away from the city center and main bus station. very well managed and clean property owned and managed by local family. big spacious rooms, big size bath and balcony/patio in front. prices are very reasonable and even in peak season they are far cheaper than similar properties. this is definitely a no brainer considering the location. highly recommended. Maria is a lovely host.

However, on the last day we asked if we could leave our luggage at the reception for one hour. The lady at the desk accepted to keep our luggage there and, upon our return, the entrance was open and nobody was at the reception . The best value for money choice. I do not regret choosing this room which has also a balcony. It is 4 minutes on foot from Fira centre and there is also a parking close to the apartment(it is not sure that you are going to find space)

We had an absolutely perfect 3 days in Santorini and it all started with Maria reaching out to us before we even arrived! Check in was a breeze, our suite with the private hot tub (so warm, we never turned the heat on - used as a plunge pool instead), and separate space for our 2 daughters was ideal! Close proximity to restaurants, cafes, museums, and shopping. An excellent option for anyone looking to stay close to the action - but not too close. We would definitely return!

Situated 2 minutes away (on foot) from the main street where all life is (markets, bakeries, bars, restaurants etc) and 5 minutes away from the caldera view. Surprisingly, it was not noisy as i expected it despite being so close. Check in was smooth, the room was clean, there were 2 windows in the room, the bed was comfortable, there was a 32\" flat TV with Greek channels, complimentary bath/covid assortments and a small private yard.

The property is clean and functioned really well. There are three things a traveler needs; a good bed/mattress, a good bathroom/shower and strong WiFi, this hotel had all of these things. The location is good and very close to the main shopping streets in Fira/Thera. The property is not in a great \"scenic\" location, it's down a sort of alley. We had four travelers and because of this we were put in the lower level which looked into a courtyard. I'm not sure if the upper level rooms had views, but maybe.

When booked was advertised as a bed and breakfast and we discovered that was not the case. Advertised with a pool again not the case! Only a very small pool for a certain room.
When arriving to finding this all out we was very disappointed and put a negative start on our holiday. Air con worked however took 10 minutes to start.

Devastatingly bad
We only stayed one night in Asterolithos as the room was so bad. It’s not in a nice place in Fira, it’s down a dodgy side street with only buildings to look at from every angle. The room was out of date with clutter everywhere, for instance a table clock that doesn’t work and a United Kingdom decorated Laundry basket (“I’m in Greece not the UK, I thought to myself”) . Cleanliness was the next problem with old dirty water in the kettle, hand soup that smelt like sweaty men... I really could go on forever on how bad this hotel was. Finally, for the cherry on top, when I went to complain about the room asking for a refund, being polite and calm, all the receptionist did was smirk and didn’t even say sorry and gave the excuse she “works 2 jobs”. Well that was my time at Asterolithos and I hope no one else stays here. It is truly the worst hotel I’ve been to.

Location is good, family room is spacious. Toilet is big, but because of the open concept of the shower cubicle, the floor tends to be wet and doesn't dry easily, so the room has a musty smell as well. Opening the windows in the day helps.

This hotel is in a great location and has very nice amenities. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. The hotel was very helpful in pointing out the best things to do during your time in Santorini and gave us a map with different areas circled and recommended restaurants. Only problems were the reception had very weird hours and was not there half the time even when it was supposed to be. We tried to check out at 10 am but no one was at the reception and we ended up having to wait an hour and a half for them to show up which caused a delay in our plans for the day. Additionally, our room was extremely damp and all of our belongs as well as the beds felt very musty. After showering, the entire bathroom floor was soaking wet and did not dry at all during our stay. Our room felt like a sauna from it.

Room is very spacious and very clean. It has a small patio where you can sit and enjoy a quiet evening with a cup of tea or coffee. It is located in Fira not very close to the ocean but close to the bus station where you can take to go Oia. There's also plenty of restaurants within the area. Very quiet neighborhood.

Literally a hidden gem in Fira Santorini. Not visible from the street but right next door to Hotel Lignos. 4 minute walk to Central Bus Station and Fira town center. If coming by plane take the bus to the central station...if coming by ferry take the shared shuttle service from the port for 15 Euro for door to door drop off. Very clean large room with eclectic modern decor.

Property was very conveniently located with an easy walk to the main square in Thira, to nice restaurants with a sunset view, and to the bus station. There was a mini fridge but no water was provided and you can only safely drink bottled water so be sure to get some before arriving. We had the suite with jetted tub. The balcony was amazing (no view but still nice). My only complaint is the upper loft with second bed was so unbelievable hot (stayed in July) and there was no way to circulate the AC to the upstairs and opening the windows didn't help circulate the air enough to cool the upper loft down much at all. They provided a fan but it was still pretty miserable up there at night. Property was very clean. Definitely a great budget accommodation but we will splurge a little more next time. I honestly felt bad for my two kids who had to sleep up there. Easily 85 degrees up there, if not warmer. Downstairs could be flat out cold with the A/C if you wanted though.

Decent hotel on a crowded island
We stayed at this hotel for one night, and it was decent. The room was large and clean, and had a kitchenette, but smelled of disinfectant. The staff was helpful, but there were no significant amenities. Location was good, close to town center, but it's a little hard getting to the hotel (Google maps gave wrong directions, and it's not on a street where you can park - it's in an alley off the main street). Good for one night.

Off the beaten track but only minutes to the action is the super clean, super large and superbly managed Hotel for only pennies. 4 large, ugly men away from their families shared 2 great room and could not have been more pleased. 5 outta 5!

Very nice welcome at check in. They get you oriented with maps and surprisingly excellent local bus service. Room was very comfortable, not overly fancy, but very nice...which is exactly what we were looking for. Great location in heart of Fira. Easy access to everything. A little hard to find initially, as it is not directly on road. Try to learn in advance of arrival where to walk. No view at hotel, but a very nice stay.

We stayed here only for one night when our plans changed and needed to come to Santorini a day early due to a ferry strike.
They arranged a nice transfer from the port and check-in was quick. The room was remodeled in the last couple of years. It was simple, but clean with a nice bathroom.
My only wish was that the reception spent a little more time explaining the island and offering suggestions. If we had friends looking for reasonable accommodations we would not hesitate recommending this property.

I had a wonderful one night stay at Asterolithos. The receptionist was so sweet and helpful and the location was central. No view, but I was out and about and just wanted the room for sleeping. It was very spacious and very clean. A very nice stay.

Nice hotel right at the center of Fira
It is more of an apartment than a hotel but very cozy! Maybe slightly tricky to find without help from google maps. Took bus from airport to Fira and the hotel was about 5 mins walk from the bus stop. It is also at the center of the town with restaurants, shops and scenic views nearby. Hotel is very close to the cable car as well (to get to the port). We reached late and so staff left a note for us at the door with the keys at the door of our room. Found password to wifi right away. Room and washroom were clean and tidy. Got exactly what we expected. There was a kitchen and fridge as well. There were complimentary tea along with a kettle. I checked out at noon but my flight was in the evening and so the staff were kind enough to let me store my luggage at the front desk for the day. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend.
