This was the most unique hotel we've ever stayed at. It was so fun and the made to order breakfast each morning was delicious. Michael, the hotel manager, was so incredibly nice with a great sense of humor, and was happy to help with anything we needed. He also arranged a shuttle from the airport for us.
Our room had a private \"soaking pool\" which made the room a little humid. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and it was nice to have access to a refrigerator and dishes.
I would highly recommend this hotel. We had 6 in our group and this space gave us so much more room than a traditional hotel. Great experience!

This hotel was the highlight of our honeymoon! The room was amazing! The breakfast delicious. The entire staff was kind, courteous, helpful and incredibly attentive. The room was of course clean and well-kept. The location was incredibly walkable in Fira. We had such an excellent time!! Thank you for everything!! :)

The hotel was great in every aspect. The staff was friendly and always accommodating and willing to help. The reception service was exceptional, always extremely helpful with island information and connections to transfers, as well as excursions. Would recommend with eyes closed.

The hotel is located in the best spot near everything, clean and very well kept! What stood out the MOST was Michael Angelo the hotel manager/ receptionist! He was so well mannered, very knowledgeable and literally made our stay the best it could’ve been. He planned all our outings and drivers along with an amazing itinerary with all our needs in mind! Micheal Angelo IS the best part of Winery Hotel and we are so great full for him!

The resort exceeded our expectations with its stunning facilities and rooms overlooking the pool area. The maid-to-order breakfast service was incredibly convenient and delicious. The staff went above and beyond, providing valuable information, assisting with transportation, and even helping with medication when I wasn't feeling well. Their recommendations, including the wine museum, was spot on.

Loved loved loved this hotel! One of the best I’ve ever stayed at (and that’s a lot of hotels in the world).
The character of this hotel met and even exceeded my expectations. The staff were very accommodating when our ferry was cancelled due to weather conditions (not to say they could do that every time I’m sure depending on reservations but they acted quickly and communicated every step of the way). Breakfast was fantastic and again - loved the look of the hotel.

A Gem in Santorini

Wonderful staff to help us get the most out of our stay. Junior suite room was fantastic, with two floors and two separate bed/bath combos. Highly recommend! Cozy pool area. Breakfast was brought to our room at exactly the time requested. Can’t say enough nice things!

Me and my wife stayed here and it was perfect. We had our own hot tub and balcony view of the pool area. Room and bathroom size were great and storage area with safe & fridge.
Brekkie was by the poolside each morning and the cheese and bacon omelet was very nice.
We couldn’t fault anything, it was perfect and location wise we were happy we stayed in Fira it had lots of sunset restaurants, easy to use the bus to other parts or rent a quad bike.

We’d happily come back and stay here again, Melanie and staff were amazing. Thanks for a great stay in Santorini

If you are in Santorini this is a must book if available. Melanie and the rest of the staff are some of the kindest people we met on our trip. They are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible time possible. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms and shared spaces were clean and well maintained. The hotel itself is more boutiquey and unique in a good way. We loved our Superior Suite which was spacious and comfortable and always clean. When we got there Melanie greeted us and helped wheel in some of our luggage.
The services that I really appreciated:
- unlimited free bottled water (although you're really paying for it in your hotel fee)
- generous breakfast included - you order from a menu (see photo)
- offer to pre-arrange shuttle or private car to/from airport and you pay the hotel the transportation fee directly
- since we had an early flight out, they prepared take out breakfast for us which we appreciated.
The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your expectations are exceeded.
Another positive is the location - very central and walkable in Fira
Would highly recommend this hotel!

We booked this hotel while in Santorini because our our hotel was undesirable. We were able to grab the last room at Winery Hotel 1870 and right from walking into the Courtyard, it was amazing. Beautiful entry and courtyard with pool and daybeds. We were greeted immediately and assisted with our luggage. Everything from there on was great. Breakfast delivered poolside daily, free water and friendly staff. The location is great. There is no view but it is right in the centre of Fira so easy access to the cliffs and shopping just 30 seconds up the lane. Also there is no need to battle 100 stairs with luggage as the entrance is 30 feet from the main road. ATV rentals, Food and shopping all without n 30 seconds of your door. Highly recommend this hotel!

Loved staying at the winery hotel! The location was super convenient to seeing all the sights of Fira and the rooms were clean and quiet despite being in the middle of town. I was worried that some of the “cave like” look of the rooms would feel dark and enclosed but it was extremely light filled and lovely!

Wow! This is such a nice property and both Kosta and Melanie were fantastic hosts. We were a large group - 15 of us total. We had rented the King, Queen and Family suites and were traveling with a 1year old.

Property itself - amazing. So nice to have a private courtyard with a pool and comfortable places to enjoy the sun. We didnt really use the hot tubs in the rooms, they were a little too cold for when we would have wanted to use them, though I'm sure other guests will like the option.

Communication with the hotel was made very easy - they are prompt with email responses leading up and use WhatsApp, so it was all very relaxing.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough, such a good time.

The staff was absolutely amazing, particularly the day receptionist, Melanie. She booked tours for us to the famous archeological site, the black sand beach, and the Santorini Wine Museum (Koutsogiannopoulos) that is world famous, and Oia. The location of this hotel is key. Very close to the heart of Fira, so great for shopping. Immaculate room and grounds. Breakfast was included. I'm raving about this place to everyone I know! Well worth it! Beds were super comfortable. We had a party of 3 with 2 rooms. The pool was awesome!

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was decent size. The hotel is within walking distance from the main square. You can either take a taxi or public transportation to go to the port or explore other parts of the island. Exceptional staff!

Definitely a great choice to stay here

We had a fabulous day at the winery hotel 1870. It is centrally located in Fira and everything is in walking distance. The town is beautiful with dozens of shops and restaurants very close to the hotel. Melanie at the front desk, was a wonderful resource who helped us with various arrangements. suggestions of places to go and things to see, booking, transfers, and booking a car rental. She literally helped us with everything and anything we asked the breakfast were fabulous! I love that you get to pre-order your breakfast and you can have it delivered to your room anytime you want. And every single morning they would call to the minute when we wanted our food delivered and ask if we were ready. We were so incredibly spoiled by staying at the Winery Hotel 1870 and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Santorini.

Amazing hotel. Large and spacious room and balcony with private hottub. Staff were excellent - they brought our luggage in from the street and carried it up and down stairs for us, and the owner was lovely as well.
Breakfast was served in the room and was generous and delicious.
The annoying part was the multiple loud phone calls in the morning. We chose a breakfast time on the order slip, but they still called in the morning to confirm that they were bringing breakfast. We wanted to rest and nap again after breakfast but were woken up with a phone call to ask when we would like housekeeping. And then another one to ask when our breakfast trays were ready to be collected. Very uneccesary and disrupts our peace.
Apart from that, I would highly recommend. We moved to another 'premium' hotel in Oia afterwards and wished we hadn't as it was nowhere near as good.

The property praises itself with 24-hour assistance but we could not find anyone and neither could reach anyone via phone when we got locked outside our room in freezing cold at midnight wrapped in wet towels. We went to check outside jacuzzi after almost suffocating in the inside jacuzzi. We didn't get severe health implications from freezing only because we run into two strangers who gave us their clothes & whisky to warm us.Theodor gave us keys but didn't tell that rooms get locked automatically.He showed up only 2 hours later and instead of an apology he said that he doesn't know how we managed to lock the room!! Such attitude was absolutely disgusting! On top of that, they use some toxic chemicals in inside jacuzzi which caused shortness of breathing and severe burning in the eyes for me and my daughter after 2 minutes in jacuzzi. It was scary. I asked to drain water from jacuzzi in our suite because the vapor of that chemical was getting even into our bedroom and I felt slight burning in the eyes and nose. when I slept. They refused to drain water from our bathtub jacuzzi. And no, it wasn't an allergic reactions as I have no allergies. I suspect, they add the same thing to the outside pools but because the pool is outside, the toxic vapor doesn't affect mucous membranes as much. Plus, there are no bubbles as in the case with jacuzzi. Never again we will stay in this property. The two day stay was a complete nightmare!! Thanks to the strangers for saving our lives.

The room is excellent the hotel staff are very very friendly. Last minute our cab(welcome pickup) got cancelled. I contacted hotel staff they arranged cab for us within 1 hour notice. Very walkable to all the restaurants in Fira. The Fira view, cable car, 3 bells etc are just behind the hotel. Melanie and Regina are always there to help us.

This place was so cool and luxurious feeling. The best part was the ability to select what you want for breakfast from a list which gets delivered to you in the morning. The room was bigger than I thought and super quiet at night in the cave. Super close to great restaurants and shopping in Fira. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Party People Ahoy!

This hotel is beautiful and in a great location for everything, and we loved our hot tub on the balcony, however there is a nightclub next door and you can really hear it every night when in your room pretty loudly and especially on Friday and Saturday nights, when it can go on til about 4am, but other nights of the week it’s a bit quieter and finishes at 1am. Bring ear plugs unless you want to join them! Service here was fab and the staff are very helpful, kind and friendly.

What an amazing property and location is perfect! My daughter was so excited the donkeys went by her room! Just a short 3-5 min walk to a beautiful view of Santorini. And the shops are literally just outside the door. The room is decorated beautifully and has very comfortable mattress and pillows. They also have bathrobes. And offer a welcome drink. Wine/beer. Had a fantastic experience here! Breakfast was also amazing!

The rooms and the service was awesome. The staff were very helpful in recommending places to visit and along with very good tips on do’s and dont’s. The only problem we had was in parking our rental car near the hotel. On two occasions, I had to park a good half kilometer away from the hotel. Though not a problem that the hotel could address, it is something one has to worry about.

Only downside is that it is near a couple of nightclubs so on Friday and Saturday can hear some of the dance music at night. Not the hotels fault tho and highly recommend.

Highly Recommend This Quiet Boutique Hotel in Fira

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Winery 1870 Hotel in Santorini, and it was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were incredibly helpful, assisting us with booking trips and offering fantastic suggestions on things to do and places to visit around the island. Their local knowledge truly enhanced our experience.

One of the standout moments was when they arranged an early breakfast for us on the day we needed to catch an early bus. It was such a thoughtful gesture that showed how much they care about their guests. By the end of our trip, it felt like we had become friends with the staff—they were that warm and welcoming.

If we ever find ourselves back in Santorini, there's no doubt we'll be returning to Winery 1870 Hotel. It felt like a home away from home, and we can't recommend it highly enough! Five stars! 🌟

This hotel has a fantastic location, walkable to everything in the Fira city center, but is also wonderfully quiet/hidden from hustle and bustle. It’s like a hidden oasis after an exciting and busy day in the city. Marina and Regina (the hotel’s two FABULOUS hosts) provided amazing personalized service, ensuring any little thing we needed was taken care of. Two of the warmest, kindest, and caring hosts I’ve ever met! Each morning we had a customizable DELICIOUS breakfast delivered to our room or poolside. I didn’t realize this was included in our stay, and it was such a pleasant surprise to have this available to us every morning. Saved us a ton of expense and it was always delicious!

From location, to value, to the amazing hospitality- this is THE place to stay in Fira if you want a cozy, convenient, secluded and luxurious stay!!!
