Charming, spotless, unique, apartment with stunning views in the heart of Fira. Luggage was happily stored whist we started to explore Santorini. A complementary drink at check-in, our own spa, 20% off at dinner and a packed breakfast due to an early departure were all appreciated. Staff were fantastic.

Amazing views, very comfortable, incredible personal service, outstanding breakfast each morning. Be prepared to walk up and down...everything in Santorini is hilly. Rhe view is second to none. Dimos is an amazing and friendly manager. My wife and I thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed our visit. They have an excellent restaurant right above the suites and lots of shopping. What a special property in a special place in the world. I highly recommend this.

Staff were excellent. Property was clean and just above the steps from the port (which also means you are right above the donkeys …so you can smell them). The views are amazing. and it’s easy to walk around town.

Best view ever! Food at upstairs restaurant was amazing, Dimos’s service was top notch. The hot tub made it so relaxing after all the walking/hiking. The only issue is the stairs so talk to Minas about paying for a porter with the luggage. Custom breakfast brought to your door was the best way to wake up in the morning….and again with the view!!!

Terrible customer service, never responded to my request about transportation to arrive, have to carry own baggage with a lot of stairs and extremely hot weather. Even worse, they promised to send us somebody to help with our suitcases ( they charge for each one $15 euros) . We have earlier flight reception was closed. The worst part nobody showed up. My husband has to carry all suitcases ( we are not young people) !!! I travel a lot , newer had this issue before . Never wrote bad reviews even if the property wasn’t good. 😁

This was my third trip to Santorini and first stay at this property and it has certainly been the best of all my experiences. The staff are very friendly and helpful, Minos at front desk is helpful and knowledgeable and Dimos who cooks and serves breakfast to your room is great. The food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for anyone there. The rooms are fabulous, the plunge pool is refreshing and has spectacular views of the Caldera. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location with fabulous views and excellent service. For those with accessibility issues, there are quite a few steps down to this hotel as with many on the island. We had large suitcases but the staff carried them to the bus depot for us for a reasonable fee which was well worth it!! Can’t say enough could things about this hotel, truly a memorable vacation :)

Its restaurant which is above the rooms is top notch in service as well as offering a good range of Greek and European cuisine. Sunset dinners there has been a must for us (discount given for hotel guests).
Our stay was made memorable by the excellent service provided by its staff especially Dimos who took care of our needs as well as serving us daily breakfast in our room.
The climb of steps can be a real challenge especially for those with heavy luggage and for the elderly. This hotel is about 400m from the car drop-off point so I will suggest that one needs to make prior arrangements with the hotel if help is needed.
Its restaurant which is above the rooms is top notch in service as well as offering a good range of Greek and European cuisine. Sunset dinners there has been a must for us (discount given for hotel guests).

Breath taking views overlooking caldera ,meanwhile we felt a million miles away tucked away in our beautiful quiet cave like suites Best part was sipping a drink in our warm bubbly jacuzzi.especially after a big day out it was Heaven. WOW WOW WOW!! Thank you so much Stravoula, Anna, and Fanari Restaurant staff, Dimos, for making this the highlight of our honeymoon stay! This hotel provides a once in a life time luxury experience at a very reasonable price point. We recommend arranging a private taxi from the airport to the hotel, which includes a porter to help with our luggage, guide us to our cliff side paradise, and relax with a welcome drink. We will forever remember the panoramic caldera view of the magical sunset, small islands, and majestic cruises ships, as we leisurely enjoyed our patio with our private jacuzzi, and sun beds. We savoured the 5 star breakfast delivered to our room, laid out beautifully, with the custom omelette, fresh orange juice, fresh croissants, coffee/ cappuccinos, and the best Greek yogurt and honey that we’ve had. We will be sure to come back, and just spend at least a full day enjoying the room. The staff love what they do and make you feel like royalty. We loved the Fanari rooftop restaurant with the most breathtaking view of the sunset (avoid the Oia crowds), and we enjoyed the discount dining there too. Tip: the Anna junior suite was the most inner suite, so it was the most private and felt like our slice of heaven. There are stairs so you can go from the cliff side hotel to access the busy shopping area right away, 5-10 min from the food square, and the best lamb gyros in town. For 10 euros, the staff will help take care of a big bag of laundry too! Thank you again!!

Our stay at Fanari was wonderful. Our room and private patio made for a very intimate and comfortable stay. The views were beautiful and everything you could hope for when staying in Santorini. The hotels restaurant was terrific and the location was perfectly center to the main attractions of Fira. Additionally, Dimos is the greatest staff member we have ever met at any stay.

What can we say! Our stay at Fanari made our vacation the trip of a lifetime! The service from Dimos and Stavroula was first class. The room itself was beautiful. Bathroom and the shower were so fun. Like a cave! And then jacuzzi! Oh the jacuzzi. On our semi private patio. So lovely!
Dimos took our breakfast order and delivered it to our caldera view patio every morning. The food was delicious. Omlettes, yogurt, croissants! Yummy!
But the highlight was the sunset view. It was breathtaking and we didn’t get a sunset view like that anywhere else in Greece.
The price, the service, the food, the room= worth every penny.
Now for a warning for those with bad knees, backs, immobility issues: what makes the hotel so special is being on the cliff with the view of the caldera.. this means walking about 5 minutes up and down some cobble stone steps and roads to get to the hotel. Amazing breakfast, customer service and hospitality from this hotel! We absolutely loved the private hot tub and the view that accompanied it. The restaurant for this hotel is also great and offers a discount but it fills up quick at sunset so definitely secure a spot early. The location is pretty central although there are a lot of stairs so keep that in mind. I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Wow. Amazing stay. Gorgeous modern room with a private hot (great temperature) tub. Right in the heart of the best part of the best town (Fira) on the island! We watched the cable car and donkeys from our balcony that overlooked the caldera and all the boats, cruise ships and sunset (May). We did an afternoon trip to Oia which was wonderful. However, we loved getting back to our wonderful accommodation!

Incredible views. Location is surprisingly quiet for being so close to crowed lanes. Spacious rooms with private outdoor hot tubs. Dining option on upper level provides an incredible sunset view. The friendly, efficient TOP-NOTCH staff really sets this hotel apart.

The Hotel was fantastic, with an incredible view and everything you need in Santorini. The room had a hot tub, which is a plus in early May, when the weather is still mild. But what made it really special was the people from the hotel, especially Dimos and Stavroula who both went above and beyond in terms of service and making you feel welcome.
We had to leave early morning to catch our flight, and since we had to skip breakfast, Dimos left us two gigantic sandwiches the night before so we could eat something before reaching Athens. That's the kind of personal touch that is hard to find anywhere else.

This hotel has amazing views. We enjoyed watching the sunset from our hot tub with some wine. The restaurant right above the hotel is amazing. Right in the heart of Fira with countless restaurants and shops just steps from the hotel. Customer service was excellent. We felt like royalty staying here. Breakfast served to us on our balcony was superb. Dimos went above and beyond, leaving us food for our early start the next morning and always being so friendly. This is definitely the place to stay in Santorini, hands down. Worth every penny.

Stayed here for three nights as part of a Greek island hopping itinerary. What a great choice. This little resort consists of 5 rooms and a massive restaurant on top. Our suite came with a hot tub overlooking the sea and Volcano. WOW! . Once in a life time view. Breakfast served on the patio from a made to order list. Delicious and authentic.room was restocked daily with water, coffeee and juice. Clients staying at the hotel get a 20% discount at the restaurant. Food was so good we had dinner there twice. On request the hotel made arrangements for pick up at the port for 40 euros. We were met by staff who carried the luggage to the room. LOTS of stairs in Fira and island of Santorini. The hotel is also located on top the the old port. This is where day excursions leave. You can walk down the stairs(600 of them) or take a donkey or gondola go dała up or down. Perfect location. The Fanari Vista Suites far exceeded our expectations. The website photos were beautiful but the reality was breathtaking. Our hostess Stavroula was a joy and made our stay very easy and enjoyable. Our suite had its own hot tub on the balcony with the most spectacular views of the sea and volcano. The suites are also situated at the very start of the steps which lead down to the old port. You can take a boat trip from there and then take a cable car back up the cliff to the main town of Fira. The suites are right beside all the little pathways of the quaint arty shops and 5 minutes from the main road. Despite this proximity to everything, the suites and balcony are very serene and peaceful. Visitors are also given 20% off the Fanari restaurant on its doorstep which is very good and this makes it amazing value. Also, your choice of breakfast is brought to your own patio on a tray every morning! All in all, one remarkable experience.

I had missed the fact that the hotel is in a walking zone only area and that the hotel was on the face of a cliff. So from Pick up at the shuttle drop off till the return pick up, the service from Fanari was superb! The suite room with jacuzzi was awesome. It was actually a cave room that was modernized Greek style. An over all great place to be in the central town. walkable to everything. Would definitely recommend this place. Plus dining in the Fanari restaurant was made more affordable with a 20% off for guests staying with them. Food of course was great too.

From reception to restaurant experience, morning breakfast, luggage carrying, house cleaning and everything in between, this establishment is second to none and we will definitely be back. Perfect Fira Getaway
We are extremely happy we chose this location for our time in Santorini. The room was exceptionally clean, with new and highly functional appliances. We booked the junior suite and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the patio. The location was close to the bus terminal and the Fira shopping areas and the sunset view was stunning (particularly since our private patio allowed us to avoid the crowds). Our hosts went out of the way to take care of us and made sure that our trip was everything we wanted it to be. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Fira.

Dora is busy at night, but Fanari was a little piece of heaven down the steps from the craziness. We had breakfast looking out over the gorgeous views and ordered dinner from the restaurant attached which they delivered to us while we soaked in our hot tub enjoying a bottle wine. We stayed here in Oct. 2022. Property was amazing. Very small resort i think only 5 suites. Staff was amazing knew us by name, Mary at front desk was first class. By far the best location in Santorini. Our room (as well as the other 5) was right at the top of the famous stairs, with completely unobstructed views of the sea. Sit right in your hot tub having a beer and watching the cruise ships. Restaurant on property is amazing, food, service, and location directly on top of the resort with unbelievable views. You can walk out of your suite and everything from shopping, restaurants, pubs and rentals was right there. Would def. stay there again if going back.

A wonderful hotel with a limited number of suites that allowed for the staff to get to know you by name. We were welcomed by the hotel manager, Dora, who escorted us to our suite that was two rooms that included a living room with a sofa, sweet and salty snacks, and two large bottles of cold spring water. She offered us each a glass of wine on the house which we accepted and she had promptly bought to our suite. The suite included our own veranda/patio area with two chairs and a small table and two lounge chairs for sunbathing with a breathtaking view of the bay and caldera with its islands. Plus, also on the veranda/patio area, our own jacuzzi. They also have a restaurant by the same name with a top-notch chef. Best to call the hotel to arrange transit that will bring to about 300 meters (1000 feet) to the hotel because they are right in the middle of the pedestrian area. But Dora sent a staff member (\"Superman\" Sonny) who helped us with our suitcases and escorted us to reception. Our stay was truly a wonderful five star experience.

The only thing to be aware of is the \"donkey trail\" is just below the suites and there are times the odor can be very strong and will bother you. If you're looking at places to stay in Santorini, just go ahead and book this right now. The most gorgeous, breathtaking views I've ever experienced. No fighting through crowds to witness the infamous Santorini sunsets. Just a bottle of wine and your private balcony Jacuzzi to soak it all in. Stavroula was incredible-- she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. She even arranged a sunset cruise for us and handled all of the details so we could just show up and enjoy. The made-to-order breakfast every morning was absolutely wonderful. It was delivered between 9-10 am, so we had the chance to sleep in and still enjoy via our balcony each morning. Soni was also awesome--delivering our delicious meals complete with fresh oj and handmade cappuccinos promptly each day. To top it all off, our room was immaculately cleaned every day so when we returned for an afternoon siesta all was refreshed. The mini fridge was replenished daily with free waters, soda, and snacks, which made travelling throughout the day that much easier. The only cons I will say, which are not any fault of the hotel, is that it is located directly above the donkey station that takes tourists up and down the stairs to the port, so it can be a little smelly and noisy from time to time. Also not awesome that you're a little inundated by people from cruise ships multiple times a day, but such is the way of the island.

Sonny the porter, carried our two fifty pound suitcases up and down so many stairs both on our arrival and on our 6:15 am departure. Such exceptional service. What an epic experience. I do not have enough words to describe how amazing my stay was at this hotel. I did not want to leave the hotel, and did actually spend several mornings, days, and sunsets simply sitting on my terrace enjoying the incredible view. The location could simply not be beat. If I ever come back to Santorini I will be staying here again, no question. The staff was amazing, the food was amazing, everything about staying here made me feel like royalty. Absolutely perfect.

I don’t like driving overseas- wrong side of the road AND the wrong side of the car is just too much stress when I’m supposed to be relaxing, and with a cocktail. This means I usually either have to forgo breath-taking views for breath-taking taxis bills, haven’t yet found a decent balance. However Fanari Vista Suites is perfect in that respect- centre of town but with a fantastic view of the Caldera. I don’t think the website photos do this place justice- it’s modern, gets a great amount of sunlight and is in the heart of Fira.

Amazing hotel! The views are incredible. You can get the amazing sunset view right from the patio (or from the hot tub) in front of the room, without fighting the crowds. With only 4 rooms, all having their own hot tub, this place felt super private and yet you're right off the main path to the Old Port. The beds were super comfortable, the mini fridge has 2 large complimentary bottles of water and 2 orange sodas daily. There is a coffee/tea station to start you off before they serve you your complimentary breakfast on your patio. The shower is large and the water gets plenty hot. This place was amazing! The hotel restaurant at the top of the stairs is fantastic! Try the cheese Saganaki! Guests get 20% off, and if you ask they will bring your meal down to your balcony. Waiter Renato was fantastic! He really catered to us. The hotel is right above where the donkeys rest after taking tourists up and down the main path. There are a lot of stairs in Santorini. Call or have your transportation call the hotel to let them know you're on your way and they will have someone help with your luggage. Trust me, you want the help. Especially when you leave. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when in Santorini.
