If you prefer to have an access to the best area of Santorini, this is the best option

Everything was good, unless a few things that could help, like the other hotels, just provide a few coffees or tea bags close to the coffee machine, also a hand washing liquid would be great.

Small tiny buetiful hotel in the center of Fira the capital of Santorini. I canadian for me was very nice clean hotel close to center very safe for 500 canadian for 4 days 2 of us so good choice. For sure if i go back to Santorini i go there realy amazing.

A hidden gem in the centre of Fira. I urge you not to let its two-star rating or price dissuade you from visiting a hotel staffed by a team of truly marvellous people who will strive to tend to your every need.

The rooms were very well kept and diligently cleaned every day. I would recommend and return to this property without any reservations.

We enjoyed our stay because the room (which was absolutely tiny) was just a central hub for showering and sleeping. The air conditioning worked well and the location was brilliant - right in the action but tucked away so it was away from the noise. I don’t know why someone reviewed the hotel as having no reception - the reception was open early morning til late at night. Everything was fine. The pool was cool and clean and a great place for a dip between outings . The manager brought my husband breakfast while he worked at an outdoor table. A great overall experience. Thank you.

Hotel Leta was a great option for my short stay in Santorini. The area was walkable to the main square and areas with great sunset views. The hotel itself was basic, but comfortable. The staff was very nice, and I liked that they offered transportation to the Ferry Port (for an additional fee) so I didn't have to worry about arranging that myself. They also had a nice breakfast included! The pool area was small, with not much shade, but luckily it wasn't crowded and was still enjoyable. There are lots of stairs here, so just be aware if you don't do well with stairs. It was fine for me. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Staff were very helpful, provided me with a map and pointed out places to see. Organised transport for me from the hotel to the airport, although 30 euros for a 10 minute drive is quite a bit, but had no choice since I was catching an early morning flight. The location of the hotel is incorrect on Google and Apple maps, but also on the listing itself. Easiest to find it by looking up Penguin Laundry, it's right opposite on the other side of the road.

Great location, just a short walk away from the Fira bus station, and lots of places to eat nearby. Good value for the price.

However, the soundproofing is quite poor, and you can hear quite a bit of noise, both from neighbors and outside. The worst is if you're unfortunate enough to get a room right under the lobby, as you'll be hearing constant thumping, chairs sliding across the floor, door slams, footsteps, you name it. It was quite a major nuisance.

Great stay! After 2 weeks in Greece, this was our last stop and the best stay we had been in (within that price range). The room was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent (in the heart of Thira). I definitely reccomend hotel Leta amd plan to stay here again during my next visit.

Great location- very clean

Very small rooms - although we were lucky to get one on the ground with doors out to the pool which gave us a little more room. The staff were not friendly and really just wanted you in and out. The hotel is however exceptionally clean. They supplied a cup of coffee or tea for breakfast but everything else you had to supply. This little hotel is right on the main road opposite the laneway to the Caldera cable car and donkey ride up and down the huge hill. Great location. Would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

The hotel is close to downtown Thera the bus station and restaurants. It very quiet because it was behind a building on the main road in town. It was a little difficult to find because it was behind a building and without street signs. We asked directions from many of the local people, but none knew of the hotel but were able to give a general location. Our flight out was at 4am and the staff scheduled a taxi without problems for a 2:30 pickup. I would stay here again!

Good value for the money

Good value for the money, especially given the location. Adequately comfortable bed, AC, and being just far enough from the commotion of the CBD made it possible to sleep comfortably. Need to be relatively young and athletic to be comfortable climbing up and down the steps up to the bed, and OK with relatively austere furnishings in the room (no dresser). Decent coffee in the morning paired well with purchases from inexpensive nearby bakery. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. Front desk was fine. Location was great for being close to the old port, views of the cliffs, and the central bus station. Our main complaints: 1) there was a bit of a musty cave smell indicating moisture in the room. 2) We left our bags to pick up for checkout and they were left in an unattended area. I came back and picked them up, and got the impression they wouldn't have noticed they were gone if I hadn't gone into the reception afterwards to let them know I had taken them. I wouldn't leave any valuables in bags you leave behind. Having a fridge, pool, and AC in this location at this price made up for any limitations.

It was god for one-night stay, close to the bus stop of fira. However, the 2 young grils at the reception were very unhelpful. The one answering the questions seemed hardly willing to answer any query and also did not understand english well.

Close to the city center but no parking and if the hotel provides transportation to and from the port, it's 24 euro each way. If you rent a car, there is no hotel parking. The young receptionist provided absolutely terrible directions. I can't stress this enough. Parking in Fira is pretty much anywhere you can park that won't block traffic. Even it is says no parking! There are many stairs so getting your luggage to and from the room can be physically challenging. Wish I had known this before!

Great setup, great location, great staff!

We had issues with our flight which made us catch the late night ferry into Santorini. By the time we got to the hotel it was about 230am. Theyre setup was so seemless that once we got onto the hotel property we were in our rooms within 30 seconds.
The next day the staff greated as with some coffee and wine.
The central location made the hotel a great jumping off point if we needed to grab something or to take a quick shower and change.

Nice hotel close to town center

A very nice, clean hotel in a prime location close to the center of town. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Very easy to find, the hotel is just a 5-10 minute walk to the main shops and restaurants in town, and a 5 minute walk to the nearest parking lot. The room was very spacious and clean, but the bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable (I’m used to much softer beds). A tip for all of Santorini - do not drink the tap water - it isn’t good, and you can get cheap bottled water at the local supermarket (10-15 minute walk 6x1.5L bottles for €2). A wonderful island to explore-I highly recommend renting a quad/ATV for your stay as it is a cheap and easy (and fun!) way to get around the island. I thouroughly enjoyed my stay.

Hotel leta in the center of Fira, but that's it!

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in my travels, but I have to say, I have NEVER stayed at a hotel with a mattress in such poor condition with coils popping up and no padding left in the mattress before. I literally had to put bath towels underneath me to cushion it. I am not talking of a firm mattress, I'm referring to a mattress so broken down it should not be used in a hotel room. I was in room #1, I cannot speak for other rooms there. I really don't like to give bad reviews but I must share my own personal experience.

Great location in fira, beds are not that comfortable, but in the end you get what you pay for. The owner was very kind, the pool is small but perfect if you just need some refreshing. The view of the sunrise is amazing as well. Overall, i'd recommend it especially if your into Santorini's nightlife.

Friendly service, not the best room

The hotel staff is extremely nice and will do their best to accommodate you, but the room was not so great. You can hear all the noise from the hallway. The bathroom and shower are EXTREMELY small. Taking a shower was actually a hassle. The hotel also advertises a pool which is very small and surrounded tightly by the hotel. It is enough just to cool off.

The location on the site is incorrect. It is not in the middle of Fira town as indicated. It is not far away, you can be in the center of town in less than 10 minutes walking. Google maps can't find it either. Ask locals. Other than that is was a great budget option with a nice pool and friendly staff. There was nothing even close in price this close to town and being close to town is important here.

I don't expect much from travel accommodation, it nees to be clean,safe and well located. The Leta fulfilled all of my criteria,with good wi-fi as well.the thing that makes any hotel is the attitude and demeanour of the staff. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating,nothing was too much trouble. the hotel is spread over several floors so access could be a problem for some. Free coffee and tea in the mornings, no breakfast, I prefer it that way . I gan go out and eat with the locals. There is a fridge in the room . I would take advantage of the shuttle service as the hotel ,whilst on a main road , is set back a bit and could be missed. Excellent view of the east coast from the sun terrace. I would certainly stay here again as close to the main features of the town of Fira.

We stayed at Leta with my wife for our honeymoon and couldnt be happier with the friendly staff and accommodations. Location is great, you're pretty much in the center of things and the value compared to some other places nearby is great. Definitely recommended to anyone travelling to Santorini.

Hotel Leta was in a great location, so so close to Centre Fira where all the shops and restaurants are. Even the main bus station is less than a 5 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they helped me find a doctor. Plus there's a gorgeous communal balcony looking over a lot of the island which we enjoyed a gyros and the sunset one night!

Collected from port by the hotel, when arrived our room was not ready. Waited for 45 minutes, returned to find we had 2 single beds, booked a double, also the bathroom smelt of stale urine.when complained, were offered another dark room with 2 single beds, so decided we would leave to find another hotel.it was then we were offered a clean room with a double bed and balcony.
Although location was good, would not recommend this hotel.

Nice stay at friendly Hotel Leta. Easy access to sights, restaurants, shopping and transportation to explore the rest of the island. Free coffee available each morning. Terrace with a beautiful view. Bathroom with shower a little snug. Everyone was very friendly. Nice treat to know there is airport pickup and delivery direct to the hotel.
