As others have mentioned, there are many stairs and no elevator, so it’s not suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility difficulties — though this is common in many hotels in the area. For those who can manage, the view is amazing, both near the rooms and from the breakfast area. I’d like to thank the hotel staff for their great kindness: Georgia, Oni Ahsan and also thank you for helping me with my suitcase. Thank you!

Lovely short stay. The location is amazing (but do not depend on georeferencing link from Expedia- instead enter hotel name directly for directions). The sunset view is absolutely beautiful and breakfast is quite filling. Location not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Even for those who are fit, the stairs can be a bit steep to get around. WiFi is terrible.

The construction on the cliff and the vertical distribution of the hotel is outstanding, awesome. The entire property offers stunning sea views of the caldera. The breakfast is fantastic, healthy and served with a smile on the terrace with an out of this world sea view, just magnificent! Only thing is you need to be prepared to climb a lot of stairs! The bed is super comfy, big king size and the cave design is cool and different. The shower is a little bit too small and the dressers are a little difficult to use for a lady to put her make up on but besides these tiny details this hotel is a little gem in the super beautiful Fira Santorini. We really loved it! ❤️❤️

Ideal location with some of the best views in Fira! Walking distance to everything you may want to see on this side of the island and fabulous staff. There are three levels of patios to enjoy the fresh air and the complimentary breakfast is a great way to start the day. Also a ten minute walk to the public bus which makes getting to the airport, Oia, or the port easy and affordable.

The view from this property is spectacular, however that’s where it ends. The room felt like you were walking into a mouth cave and the shower was unacceptable. Warm water lasts about 5 seconds in an old, small cavernous bathroom. Furniture looked old and cheap. Closet smelled musty. No cell service or WiFi. This one is a big no for me. Oh, and the coffee was awful- icing on the cake.

The view from this hotel is amazing! Shopping and dining is right outside the hotel with plenty to do and see. The rooms are a bit dated, but I was only in there to sleep. The views from all the terraces are incredible with gorgeous sunsets every evening. The reception ladies were very helpful with any questions I had.

Not a fancy place, and the rooms are ok. Some are in a cave, while others have windows. LOTS of steps. The views are spectacular, and the location is superb. Breakfast is included, but it’s served to you, and the male server is very regimented. He insisted that everyone sit with their roommate. No mixing up with other guests you travel with. And he was disturbed if your spouse or roommate came to the breakfast area at a different time! The breakfast food was quite good: a hard boiled egg, numerous breads and pastries, including a very rich breakfast cake, a mixed fruit bowl, a large serving of Greek yogurt, cheese and cold cuts, and choice of coffee or a selection of teas. Price was very reasonable. We stayed there October 12-14, 2024.

This place should be condemned. It is not a hotel, not even a motel. It is a jail cell. The place is falling appart. We immediately requested are money back but they are so desperate for money that they played every trick in the book. We asked to speak to the manager but the robot girl at reception told us he was much too busy to speak to us. No wander they dont have a cancellation policy. We sent two emails a month prior for specific bed request and the robot girl that workd reception kept playing word games. We will be seeking a full refund from Hotels.com. There rating is a complete deception. What a nightmare. The mattress was so indented and destroyed that my wife needed to sleep on a caught we recuested. What a rip-off. Shame on them and Hotels.com. I tried to add photos to this review but this app doesn't work properly. I will add from my laptop later.

Hotel is not as nice as other options in the area. Hotel in poor condition. Rooms dirty with cracked walls and ceilings. Refrigerator not working and dead bugs on the floor . No WiFi or cell phone service at hotel. At check in they tell you that if you want to use cell phone or wi fi you must go outside the room . Really doesn’t work there either. When I requested a refund as we wanted to choose another hotel in the area they refused. I contacted Expedia and they seemed to be able to do nothing as well. Stay away from this place you can do much better. Totally unacceptable. Disappointed in Expedia as well for not standing up for their customers when things go wrong.

I really did great when I chose to stay at this hotel,it is the center of Fira and everything is within a walking distance.I did not have to use any taxi unless to go to oia or to a beach in the south (bus was 2 euros only and has AC).

This property is all about the location. Amazing views and centrally located on the caldera in Fira, while reasonably priced. However, the service and attitude we received in response to our door lock not working was unacceptable at any facility. After struggling locking and unlocking the door for two days we asked to have it looked at. Since the employee who responded was able to open it, we were chastised for complaining. When we were unable to unlock it again, we were chastised again, even though two of their employees were also unable to work the lock. They eventually had to replace the entire door, however, the rudeness of one staff member (the front desk staff were lovely) was very off-putting.

My issue is that having paid a lot of money did not give me any wifi access. The only wifi access is at the reception area and that’s it. Even though my room was at the reception area, I had no wifi in the room or even outdoors on the hotel property. How pitiful is that?

I honestly loved my stay. The whole place is beautiful with a thriving garden and small pool which was nice on the hot days. The view is jaw dropping. The room i stayed in had a very narrow ladder up to a loft bed which probably isn’t ideal for most people but it looks like

Furniture including the bed is very old and the mattress is probably the oldest and worst mattress I have ever slept on. Bell boy who is also waiter at the breakfast time is rude, cranky and snaps at people (more on women guests). If you can afford to pay a lot more for a good hotel with caldera view, it's is amazing. Budget hotels with Caldera view are terrible. I would stay in a better property without caldera view next time. We spend all day looking at caldera anyways.

Hotel is right in the heart of Fira. Bus to airport & other parts of town is a short walk. Shops & restaurants are all surrounding the hotel. The views from the patio at our room were amazing. And sitting outside overlooking the caldera to have breakfast was a highlight of the hotel…breathtaking views! Only negative is that the WiFi did not work in the room, we had to go to the reception area for it to work.

One word: WOW. Stunning property and fantastic views. Welcoming and VERY helpful staff - arranged all of our transfers. Breakfast was great. We had an executive room, which was huge, with dining and seating areas. One tip: lots of stairs to access the rooms, which is normal in this setting.

The only downside is that the wifi did not work at all and our phone connection was bad inside of the room but worked just find right out the door. This hotel is in a very busy area of Santorini. It is built on top of a hill and you walk down a lot of steps to get to the rooms and breakfast area. It would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The view is amazing but I don’t know if it’s worth it if you’re always worried about falling. The staff were wonderful and worked very hard to make everyone happy.

Best location in Fira! When we opened the door, the first thing my girls says was “Wow!” We arrived late at night, so the view the next morning was another “Wow!” The cave interior was so cool! The staff was really helpful in suggesting a restaurant that doesn’t take reservations- with a sunset view! We enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace: a great selection in the most gorgeous of settings. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Santorini! Note: I use a cane on stairs. There are many here (56 from the breakfast terrace back to the entrance). No problem! It was so worth it! There is a nice strong, friendly porter who helped us in/out.

Bathroom was in need of updating, toilet leaked. Wifi was sporadic and didn't work often. TV also didn't work and 2nd room was in bad location and also in need of updating. Also, asked for restaurant recommendation and was sent to a terrible restaurant where the representation of Greeks was horrible - throwing dinner plates on the floor and playing loud music, poor service and food was less than average.
Cleaning staff couldn't speak English or Greek and was hard to communicate with regarding requests. The gentlemen who helped with suitcases and served breakfast was the best thing about the hotel.

Fantastic location, awesome views, and helpful staff made for a wonderful and memorable family vacation. We stayed on the lowest terrace which we preferred but beware the steep stairs are not for everyone. Dining and shopping galore and Fira’s bus hub is only a short walk away and made for easy day trips to all parts of the island.

Santorini is an amazing piece of the Cyclades and a bucket list event. Hotel location is about as good as you could want, and for the price (Santorini is expensive) about as good as you can get. Rooms are old and cramped, but worth it for the location. Would recommend whole heartedly and the staff is wonderful.
