The view was great but anything else was subpar. The room was small. The bathroom was very small and the shower had mold in several places.
The hotel is at the old town and the taxi cannot reach it so be prepared to walk with your suitcases. At night it was very loud until 3am with music from the surrounding bars.
The staff was polite and helpful.

We loved our stay at Delion View hotel in Santorini. It is situated facing the caldera for an incredible view. What is nice is that is sits away from the tourist hustle and bustle; which is really special. The complimentary breakfast was good. George who was on hand during our stay was pivotal in making our time in Santorini really exceptional. He was sincere, and incredibly helpful, with adviice about hikes, and taking the bus to Kameri beach. He wend above and beyond with our luggage, when we checked-out.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. I appreciated the bottles of water and the toiletries that were provided.
Very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend Delion View to couples as well as families (older children).

We LOVED our stay at Delion. The view was amazing! We had breakfast everyday in our patio to look at the caldera. George was the best. We travelled with 2 young kids- 3 and 6 months old and he helped us with our luggages through the stairs. When we arrived, he was right there waiting for us at the parking spot. When we checked out, he helped us again! Our room was ready when we arrived with an infant crib. Everyday, breakfast was ready! And everyday, they will clean the room as well. It was so amazing having this type of customer service especially traveling with kids. The stairs to the hotel was a bit but that is everywhere in Santorini! It was also very quiet. A great place to watch the sunset off the Patio while beating the crowds. We would love to stay here again!

The reception was very welcoming and the servers were kind and friendly. The view of the bay was magnificent, the seats in the patio were charming and access to all the shopping and restaurants was moments away …. Getting to and from the bus station was also very easy and the total time of the trip to the airport was very cheap by bus and very short —10-15 min. A lovely place to stay in Santorini!

Staff went above and beyond to be helpful, amazing views and great location. You do need to walk up and down stairs to reach this property so you need to be in decent physical shape. This property cannot be accessed by car, and parking can be difficult (public lots). Room was not fancy but we didn’t spend much time in room and we booked this hotel because of location and reasonable price so my expectations were met.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel has the best view of the sunset, and our room had an amazing view of the sea. The hotel is located in Fira, right close to restaurants and coffee shops. The location is perfect.

I would like to thank George and Silvia for making our stay so special. They are very kind and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, but we were mainly outside and would only return to the room for sunset :-) and then to sleep. Special thanks to Silvia for the delicious daily breakfast.

The only comment I have regarding our room is the bathroom. It is small, and perhaps there is room for improvement with a renovated, more modern bathroom and shower.

I would also like to thank Donna, the hotel manager. My daughter forgot her gold necklace in the hotel and realized it after we had left and arrived in Athens. We contacted the hotel, and I believe Silvia and George found her necklace and kept it safe until we arranged for a courier. Donna was very responsive and communicated with us promptly throughout the process of arranging pickup and delivery.

Stayed 4 nights in May. Delion View Hotel is in an excellent location and room was as described with great view overlooking the caldera and sunsets. George and Sylvia were terrific staff members who provided excellent information about Santorini and responded to each of our requests quickly and with smiles. Room was comfortable and breakfasts met our expectations. It was nice to have options of what to eat/drink and where to have breakfast served. It was a pleasant introduction to Santorini. We would certainly stay at Delion again.

George, the house manager, was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. He really made the stay more memorable with his suggestions and information. I had the terrace room which had an unobstructed view of the caldera and stunning views of the sun setting behind Therasia Island. You'll want to walk down the stairs by the Kameni Bar (painted red) opposite the Metropolitan Church. From Fira bus stop, go up the cobbled street (5 min). Centrally located and yet isolated from the crowds because it's halfway down the caldera. Spacious cave rooms kept immaculately clean by George and the house staff.

Very good location, mostly central and with view of caldera.
If you can walk up and down the steep stairs then np with you staying there.
The host , George is an excellent person, always helpful
The breakfast was good also with varieties and you can have in your room and or patio.
We went in off season and it was cold, Santorini was warming up for the summer party 🎉 so I can't comment on the noise level from the late night parties and also crowd level.

The bus stop is very nearby from where you can get buses to places but limited timetable and very rude staff, driver and everything there, not a great service level from them.

Lots of restaurants and fast food places although most of their were closed due to off season.

Things were painted , renovated for the peak season.
Try Chinese food from Asia club, very yummy and excellent portions. Veg soup was 😲

It's in market square nearby.

The hotel isn't a 3/4 star conventional hotel type and I think all the hotels are like that, cave type.

One thing I need to caution you. The patio floor, it's all marble or stone made and the AC units are located there which discharges water and with the hotel sleeper on you can have a huge fall and break your waist/leg. So, be careful.

Excellent location to stay in Fira. I rented a car while on the island, so chose this hotel because it is close to public parking. Our flight was delayed so we arrived very late at night. Jorge, the manager, stayed outside in the rain to meet us and led us to our room! He was a great help throughout our stay. The room was clean and had gorgeous views. I'd highly recommend this place as a great place to stay in Santorini.

A beautiful boutique hotel with excellent views, kindest staff and healthy delicious breakfast. Tall handsome Alexander was highly dedicated to his customers. He greeted me at the taxi-drop site and put my heavy suitcase on his shoulder to walk down all the steps leading to my room. He kindly did the same when I left for Oia by bus. They helped with airport transportation and to the ferry for a charge. Close to a lot of shopping, restaurants and clubs. The Delion View is a great little hotel in an amazing spot on the side of the caldera proving spectacular views, and is walkable to everything in Fira. Staff were great and I’d highly recommend the breakfast which is home made and delicious. Alex carried our 2 large suitcases (one on his shoulders) from our room up the 60+ stairs and to our car in one go! Incredible!! Would highly recommend!

The Delion View Hotel was a great place to stay in Santorini. At first we were a little concerned about all the steps to get anywhere, but it seems like that's the case most places in Santorini. If you want a great place with a private balcony to watch the sunset on Santorini rather than fighting the restaurant crowds, it's perfect. This place has a great view. Our room was a great size for three people, and nice and cool. Their breakfast in the morning comes with a choice of eggs and then various sides that change each day. You can get it at the cafe upstairs or on your balcony. The beds were a little hard for us, but not super uncomfortable. All in all, it was a great stay and a great hotel.

View is great, there are quite number of steps to get to it but doable and they help carry your bags from the transfer. They are family owned and very gracious. We talk to Alexander a lot and he was very nice, set up breakfast for us wherever we wanted. The only con is the bed, way too hard for us, husband had lot of problems. If they just put a comfortable mattress pad on top it would be rated higher. We end up using blankets and stuff to cushion the hardness.

We liked the view from property and overall service including breakfast is really superb. For budget stay it’s an excellent choice. Location is good but requires lot of stairs to reach market level.

I am not sure about Fira star standards as this property 4 star status is mis leading. I have lived in 4 star properties across world and in Athens too and room is not even close to 4 star. Shower area was extremely small with just cheap shower curtain. Whenever we went to shower, entire bathroom floor end up wet. I tried not to avoid but it was not possible. We spotted few insects flying in the room too.

Donot forget to contact property on your arrival as it is not easy to find this property if you are coming for the first time.

The Delion View is a gem in Santorini! A short walk from the airport bus stop and with great views. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was a nice surprise! I loved the room, with my own little terrace with a sunset view.
The bed was in a cave-like alcove and super cute. It was still cool (I stayed early March) and the duvet kept me nice and warm at night.
Everything was clean and worked well.
When back in Santorini, I will defintely stay here again!

The staff were extremely hospitable. The view from our balcony was beautiful. A delicious breakfast is served to you either indoors or on the patio overlooking the ocean. The indoor pool was cool looking but did not go in the water. On the needs improvement side, the bed was hard, the room needs updating and we had enough hot water for 1 quick shower at a time. There are many steps to get to the hotel which can make carrying your bags difficult.

This is a lovely property with amazing views of the sunset. We had booked the comfort double room (room 101). My only problem was the location of this room, which is up a steep flight of stairs past reception and the breakfast kitchen and bar. Because of this, it is very difficult to sleep past 6:30 in the morning when they start preparing breakfast as all surfaces are stone and the sound bounces and echoes. The window shutters also don’t close so you need to shut them by piling pillows against them, otherwise the lights from the terrace below will shine in. If you are light sleeper or still fighting jet lag, both of these may interrupt your sleep. Otherwise the location is perfect and the owners and operators are so lovely.

The mom - son owner/mangers are very friendly and helpful! They can help you get the plan together for sightseeing and other activities in and around Fira! Our room was on the very bottom floor and we did not hear any noise from the street! The grotto swimming pool was a big hit with kids, after a long day in such hot weather outside!
