Amazing views. Very well located and very helpful staff.

We had the Artemis suite with a beautiful view of the Caldeira , our room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delivered upon request.
Please keep in mind you will need to go down several stairs to reach the hotel and go up the same stairs to get to the restaurants and nightlife.
Still a great location close to taxis and bus stations.

The views were breathtaking. Amazing service and wonderful breakfast each morning. It was the perfect place for our family of 4. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
Michelle
George at the front desk was very accommodating. He answered all of our questions with a smile. The breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety to choose from. The room was clean and air-conditioning worked well. Beds were comfy and room was clean. We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay.
Trey
This place was great. Staff was incredibly helpful!

The view was amazing. Our room was very clean and the staff very helpful. It is steps from all restaurants and bus station. Breakfast was great and you can eat it on the porch while contemplating the breath taking view.
Tatiana
The view from the hotel was amazing. It is a bit of hike down the stairs but that is not surprising being on the side of the mountain. The staff helped get us ferry transport to the hotel and back to the port. It isn’t too far from the shopping and food areas. The breakfast was simple and incredible. Fresh breads, fruit, hard boiled eggs, meat, tomatoes, Greek yogurt. Worth the wait until 8:30 to get a wonderful breakfast with a view. Enough to feed multiple people. The cave rooms were beautiful. Damp at first until you get the air conditioner going but a very nice stay. Highly recommend.
Michelle
Staff was really nice and helpful. Bathroom has poor ventilation, even with the fan on, so had to use something to prop the door open to let the air dry out. Clean room. We had a great view of the sunset from our balcony. You have quite an up and down trek, so be prepared. The uber driver was supposed to call them to have someone help with the luggage, so we got quite the workout. We got help when we checked out though, so that was good.
Courtney
We loved our stay at Hotel Thireas! The staff was fantastic, helpful and friendly and the hotel is in a great location. The view from our balcony was picturesque, and we loved eating our delicious breakfast there every morning. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Fira!
Sharon
Great location in Fira. Clean room, great view of caldera from our balcony. Pool on the same level. Outdoor table and chairs and 2 sun lounges. Small fridge with minibar. Aircon but didn’t use. Bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bar of soap. Good hair dryer. John organised our taxi from airport and met us to help with suitcase.
Prue
We were there very early in the season and as it was quite chilly out would have liked the outdoor hot tub to have been on.
Both staff and continental breakfast were excellent!

Fantastic location - near everything you typically need, very helpful staff, beautiful views, tasty breakfast served in room, clean and private bathroom with adequate space, and balcony with caldera and sea view. Highly recommended!!

Breathtaking place! The staff ( Gorge and John )were incredibly supportive and kind, and the location is perfect , close to everything in the area. I only wish I had the chance to book a room with a hot tub. The breakfast and cleanliness were amazing. I truly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back ❤️
Melanie
Wonderful hotel. Very central to everything. Staff was knowledgeable on things to do. View for the sunsets was amazing. Walked to Oia from the hotel.
Mairishka
The service by the front desk manager Vanessa; she was super friendly, helpful and available! The room very very clean and comfortable. Nice view and great shower. The soundproofing was so good I never heard a noise from any other room when they were inside their rooms, which I appreciate because I’m a light sleeper. And definitely can’t forget the breakfast because it was huge and had a fantastic variety of everything I could want. I also liked that I could make tea and coffee in the room and there were lots of shelving and closets to put stuff.
Carol
This is a perfect spot in Fira. The sea view room is worth the upgrade with more space and a beautiful view. I haven’t had the continental breakfast delivered to our room during other island stays which was a treat! Very filling and enough to make sandwiches for my husband and I for an afternoon snack. The receptionist, Vanessa was so helpful in having a car delivered to us along with giving us guidance on the best places to see. We enjoyed such as exploring the ruins of Akrotiri to the wine museum and exploring Oia. The 10k hike from Fira to Oia was amazing despite the wind and rain.

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The location is convenient, just a short walk to restaurants, cafes, and shops. The room was clean, and had everything we needed, the breakfast were amazing. The staff were polite and always ready to help. Overall, I’d happily stay here again.

nice hotel
amazing place the best view close to everything
Carol Margaret O'
We had the most beautiful balcony view which captured the sunset every evening . Also super space for cruise watching . There was never a dull moment from the vistas on the balcony . While Fira might be generally busy with tourists and people coming and going , once you closed the shutters and windows in the room , it was very quiet for a holiday hot spot . Breakfast was delivered every morning which was great and was eaten on the balcony . Bed very comfortable , Tv ( not turned on at all ) Pod coffee machine , great bathroom with good shower , plenty of towels , mini bar and welcome treats , we also had a hot-tub but that was extra but a nice treat in the evenings . Staff both on welcome and leaving were very friendly , accommodating , informative and really seemed to enjoy sharing information and making sure our stay was memorable . I would stay here again and I would recommend to family and friends .
Jose Izquierdo

Absolutely Wonderful Stay
This was a great place to stay for our family vacation. Everything was nice. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is great. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was nice and served straight to your room. If I return to Santorini I will absolutely come back to this hotel.
Michael
Wonderful! Not sure I would stay anywhere else in Santorini. Super attentive staff. Amazing views, wonderful pool and a breakfast delivered to you that was well above expectations. Anything we wanted to schedule on the Island, they gladly helped with. Hotel Thireas has my highest recommendation.

A view to die for. Fantastic views, lovely breakfast delivered to your room, outside table. Friendly helpful staff. Above all the location in Fira is the middle of everything, 5 mins to resturants, short walk to port, short walk to central bus station, everything nearby.

Fabulous in Fira
This hotel is incredible! The staff was exceptional, the suite was spacious, and lovely. Our balcony gave us views to die for, and our included breakfast, was brought to our room everyday. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone coming to Fira!
Yu
great location，great view. only one suggestion for future travellers. Most of hotel with good view are on cliff. Bring heavy luggage will be pain.
Chetan
This is a great hotel with spectacular views. It is walking distance from Fira bus stop. Vanessa and John were very helpful in making our stay comfortable, allowing us to check-in early and check-out late, explaining places to explore, and arranging for a rental car. The breakfast delivered to our room was amazing. Would highly recommend staying here.
Adeola
Great Place !
Amazing room and customer service. One of the best places I’ve stayed in.
Verified traveler
Great location with stunning views. Front desk was helpful and staff was joyful.
ANA
The property is amazing! The location is great, everything walkable distance, stunning view from the room, comfy bed, delicious breakfast and nice staff. The only thing that impacted negatively our stay was a strong smell in the bathroom. Even though everything looked very cleaned, there was a smell like a public toilet that was not properly addressed by the administration. The bathroom probably needs an in-depth clean including walls or something so that the smell goes away definitely. Apart from that, all excellent!
Jose

Vanessa and John are amazing hosts. They are the reason we booked this hotel, and we will recommend this hotel over and over due to them and the lovely way they interact with guest. We had a remarkable time and their recommendations for dinner and activities were spectacular.
Mark
The apartment was better than anticipated. Sensational position and staff were fabulous to deal with. Would highly recommend staying here.
Micheline
What a lovely property with easy access to bustling Fira, but removed just enough that it was quiet. Breakfast was terrific, and ample. The staff were so accomodating, helping us with ATV rentals, taxis and general information. The pool was welcome after our Fira to Oia hike.
Greg
Book it!
No hesitation to recommend a stay here, views from the balconies and all around the area are stunning, beautiful sunsets at night. Few steps away from gorgeous bars, restaurants and shops.
There are amazing reception staff, so helpful and kind - helped us with transfers, car hire and a catamaran cruise! And the gorgeous ladies who bring the breakfast trays served on your balcony.
There are a LOT of steps in Fira but don’t let it put you off. They are even and easy to navigate. The hotel staff will meet your taxi transfer and help with luggage on arrival and departure.
Thankyou Hotel Thireas - you catered for our every need and made our holiday one to remember!

Beautiful hotel right on top of Fira Caldera. You can catch the view of the sunset right from the hotel's pool area. Room was good in size only thing missing is a chair to sit down i was in the Aphrodite room. There was light coming in from the top window but hotel staff quickly rectified. Amazing and friendly staff!

Beautiful location but don’t rent a quad with the
Lovely hotel but do not rent a quad with them as the company they use is fraudulent and gouges customers.

It’s all about the experience!
I can not say enough a out the hotel and the location. It was phenomenal However it was the reception team that separated this hotel from others. If you look up the word Professionals- Their pictures would pop up.
They helped in every way possible to make our family vacation a successful.

Great hotel if you’re staying in Fira
Nice hotel and we had a great 1 night stay in Fira here while on our honeymoon in Greece. Their team arranged our airport pickup which helped with luggage and staff was great overall.

The hotel’s location was absolutely beautiful, overlooking the Greek islands and Santorini shoreline. And the hotel’s staff was exceptional, keeping the rooms and balconies spotless as well as helping out with any assistance we needed, from room service to restaurant recommendations and taxi service. John and Vanessa at the front desk were awesome!

This property, the staff, rooms, view, location and overall beauty of the location was the highlight of my trip. The views were spectacular but the staff were equally wonderful. Friendly, helpful and very caring. Thankyou for taking such good care of your guests!!

The location of Hotel Thireas is excellent and the view from the balconies is exactly the ones you see in the pictures. We had our breakfast on one of the terraces overlooking the caldera -- it's priceless. And the breakfast itself is plentiful and excellent.
There is a long sloped and stepped walkway from where your taxi or shuttle will drop you off so if you have wheeled luggage, you will either need to carry it or call reception to have them help you. This is standard for any hotel in Santorini (i.e none of the hotels are directly on the road) so just pack light or use a bag that's easy to carry.
While our room had \"soundproof\" doors, some people stay out late and come home in a rather loud and careless state so you may still hear them through the doors. Again, this isn't unique to Hotel Thireas.
The room we stayed in (\"Poseidon\") is a two bedroom, two bathroom cave room. There are no windows in either of the bedrooms so if you don't like being in confined spaces, factor that in.
John, the manager, is welcoming and accommodating. He organized our transit to and from the airport as well as a rental car for one of the days we were on the island. All of them were smooth and fairly priced.
The only reason it didn't earn a 5 star is that I'm a tough grader and while the accommodations met my expectations, they didn't exceed them to the point of being exceptional. If we return to Santorini, we would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful view and lovely breakfast
Very unique cave style 2/bedroom unit. Perfect for our family of 4. The view outside was wonderful. We saw sunset from the hotel patio. Breakfast was served to the room, very delightful, with hot coffee, juice, pancakes, a variety of bread, yogurt and fruit. Service was quick and pleasant. We had a great time. My husband and I will likely come back to Santorini and would love to stay here again!

I loved the attention we received before and during our stay. Everything went smoothly. I disliked the fact that we had to carry our luggage down some precarious steps.

Ideal staying. Everything was a 5 stars experience.
Just a little tips, if you are traveling more than 2 people, taking taxi to the hotel is better off than the shuttle.

The Staff made a difference. We were traveling with a baby and from day one everyone was so friendly, especially the receptionist Vanessa who was amazing throughout the trip. Everyone else was also amazing. This is my property of choice next time I'm ever in Santorini.

A bit of heaven.
Thireas was just perfect and the staff (particularly Vanessa) couldn’t have been more accommodating. Our room had its own hot tub and that extraordinary caldera (volcano) view - a total joy. Breakfast was excellent and delivered to the room. It was difficult to leave but we hope to return.

Great experience and amazing views.

An amazing place to stay, not only are the rooms a perfect place to see the sunsets but the breakfasts are the perfect place to watch Thira wake up everyday.
