We had a great stay at Aigialos Luxury Settlement Hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean with nice bathroom amenities. The hotel provided robes and slippers for use during your stay. The balcony was perfect, with a fabulous view, table and chairs and plants. The perfect spot to enjoy your breakfast or an afternoon/night cocktail. The hotel was close to shops and dining. The hotel staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and provided recommendations. It was a bit cool while we were there so we did not use the pool, but it was clean and provided a great place to sit and enjoy a delicious dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Our rooftop unit had FOUR balconies!! It was truly amazing. The views were stunning - morning, noon, and night. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The very small pool in the shade with no sea view was the only let down, but EVERYTHING else was excellent! They serve the most incredible breakfast on your balcony at the time of your choosing - you pick from a large menu and can adjust it daily.

The property was beautiful and our room was lovely. Great view overlooking the sea! Breakfast options were decent. Hotel concierge was very kind and helpful (thanks, Nikolas!).
Only complaint was that our garbage was not changed on the second day - which is an issue when you can’t flush any toilet paper. Housekeeping came and changed out our dirty glasses but that’s the only thing that I could see they had done.

This was an amazing property! The view was incredible, staff were kind and helpful, and it was nicely located. Waking up every day to a private balcony with view of the sea was perfect. A lot (almost everywhere?) in Santorini has the views but I especially appreciated the privacy afforded by how this hotel was situated with respect to neighboring properties. Quick ride to/from the airport and port too.

My room was called Zephyros. A lovely double with a sitting room, both rooms having small balconies with views straight out to sea. Traditional white and blue decor. Breakfast was served in my room and beautifully presented on the balcony. Nikos on the front desk was very helpful with local advice and made me feel welcome.

The location and views are very nice but there are many things that the hotel could do better and improve the experience. The hotel lobby looks dated and fatigued, the rooms need a make up, the air-condition did not work well. The TV is extremely poor. The property looks run down but it has a lot of charm. So not much investment to make this a fabulous place.

Aigialos was a perfect dream. The views of the Caldera from our personal balcony was amazing. We could see 180 degrees all the way to Oia. We had 2 church domes right in front of us and could see life go on down below.

Aigialos Luxury Traditional Settlement deserves more than 5 stars. This was the best experience we’ve ever had with any hotel. From the moment we stepped foot on their property, we were so impressed. Their staff and porter worked with our driver to assure our luggage was brought to our room as soon as we were dropped off. We were greeted and made to feel so welcome - the staff was so friendly and helpful, and we received a welcome drink and a bottle of wine upon arrival. Everyone made sure we were always comfortable and taken care of. The room itself was amazing. We had a spectacular view of the caldera & had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious made to order breakfast each morning on our balcony. This small(15 rooms/suites) hotel is located on the edge of the caldera, with spectacular views. The rooms are comfortable and decorated appropriately (secularly) for a beautifully converted former religious residence.
The included in-room full breakfast was excellent; and was an especially enjoyable way to take in the unobstructed view from the private terrace.

This is our second visit to Aiglialos in Santorini (pls see my review of May 2019) The hotel hasn’t changed much. The views are amazing, breakfast is fabulous and served on your private patio overlooking the caldera sea. The entire staff are always polite and helpful. The property is located in a quieter area away from all hustle and bustle yet only 2 minute walk from it.
This stay was a bit disappointing with the room we received, with some hiccups. The major issue was the shower situation (there was no wall separating shower). The entire bathroom floor & toilet would get wet when showering, there was no control over this, no matter how you tried to position the shower head/hose. We felt very bad that housekeeping had to bring us so many towels to dry up the floor. Please keep in mind this is a historic building, so be prepared for what that means. I’m not sure I would return, obviously not my experience from 2019. As a returning client and having message the hotel my husband & I would be celebrating a major milestone some effort could have been nice - missed opportunity.

Had daily breakfast included with our room and it was delicious. Our room was very comfortable and conveniently located near the reception area. The hotel is a 2-minute walk Fira, with all the shops and restaurants. The shining stars are the staff. Nico and Taros and Melen at the front desk were wonderful hosts. So hospitable and accommodating. They arranged a 4-Hour Private Island tour for us, which was excellent. They also arranged an in room massage service for me which was terrific! Atonis, Manolis in the dining room were delightful! So friendly and professional, catering to our every culinary need. The chef should win a Michelin award with his delicious, creative cuisine.

Our stay at Aigialos Luxury Settlement was magical. From the amazing staff, service, and incredible view from the Maistros suite balcony, we could not have had a better time. Tasos at the front desk went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. He was so kind and friendly. We really enjoyed getting to know him. Andreas took care of our luggage coming and going and anything else we needed. He brought us food at 3:30 in the morning before our 6 AM flight to Rome and hauled the luggage without complaint at 4 AM. The view is unbeatable. No need to fight crowds anywhere for incredible sunsets!! Ours was the best. We would highly recommend Aigialos and definitely stay there again when we inevitably return to the most beautiful place on Earth.

From the moment you arrive the staff takes extreme care to meet your needs even when we came back from a walk they brought us water in the lobby while we talked. Rooms are very big and clean. It is a small pool if you have interest in that but very refreshing. The location was enough off the beaten path to get away from the crowds but a very short walk to all restaurants and shopping. The view from our private balcony where we were served breakfast every morning, spectacular!

Absolutely gorgeous property, it feels like a little apartment in the perfect location. The views are outstanding. Breakfast is amazing. I would pack less for Santorini next time very steep hills the guys had to carry our 4 bags up the hill , I felt horrible for packing that way. Also don’t bother trying to wear wedges or heels, everything is cobblestone sidewalks and streets.

This is a beautiful historical property with amazing views and easy /walkable access to the main area in Fira. Expect smaller than US-sized rooms, bathrooms but if you travel often that is expected in the Mediterranean and Europe. The breakfast on the balcony is a must for experiencing the sheer peaceful beauty of Santorini and the best croissants I have ever tasted! We booked the Panoramic House Sea View Room (absolutely beautiful), but we respectfully declined the room because it was way to large for us. We loved the smaller room they gave with awesome views. Not a 5-star other than price. Dingy and in serious need of refurbishment. Read hte negative reviews and don't stay here if you are used to 5-star hotels. Too many details to provide (and this is my third time submitting since I seem to be blocked from their server!) but across the board sorry we stayed here other than the balcony view (thought it was not sunset as one would expect from the photos). Water didn't get hot; check in we were provided with something gummy in water (I prefer champagne); they overcharged for car rental (go around the corner); dingy furniture; rusted curtain rods; ambient music from reception, cleaning, and other patios; tiny uninviting pool. And so on. I'd call this a 3-star (in my extensive travel experience staying at 4 and 5 star hotels.

The hotel is a few steps away from shops and good restaurants. Having breakfast/dinner at the balcony of our room with view of the caldera and the sunset was amazing. Our room was clean, but the bathroom needs a bit of improvement. The front desk staff, especially Marina and Nikos, are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plenty for two people.

Generally, a good hotel. However, it is not 5*...more like a 4* by international standards. The room space was amazing but the interior design was lacking. The pool is pointless...it is very small and in the shade. A better use of space would be to remove the pool and create a larger patio space for the restaurant. The service was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. It’s a very quiet and peaceful corner of Fira with incredible views and this is the strong point. The hotel restaurant is also excellent. I would have an interior designer upgrade the rooms as they let down the experience a bit...they have a lot of potential.
