Here I write my sincere comments from my personal experience. First of all, the supposed ocean view was actually an ocean view through a small window, it was more of a view of the workshops and car sales. Next to our room was someone who lives there permanently, in total uncleanliness with dogs and cats, so at any time when leaving or entering the room there was dog poop on the path and nobody cleaned it. The positive thing is that the attention of the receptionist was good, as well as the acceptable breakfasts, as well as the location of the hotel, although nothing to do with the photos.

Continental breakfast was lovely. Always looked forward to it. The cleaning service was spot on, our room always smelt nice and fresh and clean. There is air condition which probably helps in the height of summer but we didn't use it when we stayed in October. We loved our stay and if we come back, will probably stay here again.

We absolutely loved our 2 day stay at Aria Lito Mansion and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is located near the church tower in Fira and is connected to the beautiful narrow streets. Beautiful room - large and had high ceilings and windows.
You could walk out the front door to a lovely terrace. It had a small pool which was nice.
The staff are very lovely- David and Konstantina and all the staff were excellent and were very helpful. We left something at the hotel and they contacted and sent it to us on a different island.
The hotel is one of the nicest hotels that I’ve ever stayed in as it still had period features and felt like an oasis in a busy city. I would highly recommend it and would stay again.

Nice island stay

Breakfast varied daily and was fresh and served with a friendly smile. Decent coffee and always some kind of eggs available with ham, fruit, cheese, juice, bread and coffee. We were in the annex and had an OK view of the outside street and the sea in the distance. Only real complaint: excess charges for transport from airport upon arrival and to ferry port later, but who goes to Santorini to save money?

The staff were so welcoming and kind, the room was lovely and air conditioned. The pool was lovely to dip in on the hot days we had in santorini, and everything is within walking distance from the hotel including the bus stop and the shops of Fira.

Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was more than enough and something different every morning. Hot water was an issue at least in the room we stayed in. Can’t speak for the rest of the rooms. Just wouldn’t stay hot long enough to even get through one shower. Also H3 sounded like I was sleeping next to someone brewing coffee all night. Besides that the location is GREAT especially if you’re wanting to be by all the shops and tourists spots. Would stay again if I traveled to santorini in the future.

A gem in the center of the city

Overall stay was excellent ! The hotel is right in the city center of Fira We asked for two beds when booked but was given a single double bed . However , Theo at the reception did try to correct the situation ! All the personnel were very friendly, helpful and polite ! Breakfast was very good , different every day ! Thank you for making our short stay in Santorini a memorable experience !❤️

On beautiful Thira which can be overwhelmed by tourists, this hotel was so quiet and very peaceful. The hotel grounds and garden and pool felt like an oasis in the constant footsteps of day tripping cruise passengers. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the island and things to do. Breakfast was great with a lovely selection of food available. Hotel is close to an excellent restaurant Salt and Pepper which had the BEST Greek cuisine. My only suggestion is that the lighting in the hotel room was dim especially the bathroom. But who cares? We were out seeing the lovely island.

A haven in Fira Old Quarter.

The hotel was in a great location in Fira with direct access to the old quarter, its shops, restaurants and bars. It was also a spacious haven from the busyness and activity of these close, small streets. The bus terminal was only a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast offered a good and plentiful selection. All staff were very friendly and helpful with lots of advice about local amenities and activities. FOur suite was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable though I would suggest an option of separating the two single beds. My daughter and I were sharing the room but the beds were together with double sheets on them. There was a second single bed in the suite which was useful. A small but immaculate swimming pool was very inviting though we never made use of it as we were just too busy. Our one criticism was the somewhat tired condition of the bath and shower area. It was not of the standard of the rest of the hotel.
All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aria Lito Mansion

The location is fantastic but this property is extremely dated and needs updating. The bed is uncomfortable, the shower has mold around the tub fixture with a super dated hand held shower attached to tub fixtures, and the rooms have really thin walls. You wil hear everything at night and with the wind in Santorini, that is a lot of noise. There is a good breakfast buffet in the garden in the morning….. staff is friendly but the place is a bit rough for the price.

This hotel is very nice. The bathrooms are a little worn and desperately needs attention. The rooms we had (Suite 1 and Suite 2) were very spacious and comfortable. I loved how our room patio door lead out to the rooftop and pool. The front desk staff was very nice as well. We had no issues other than the bathrooms.

Amazing trip.

The hotel and staff were amazing! The grounds are lovely and just in the right area to be quiet but still lively too!
Breakfast is absolutely amazing and you get given so much. Nothing will top the breakfast.

This property is like a haven in the middle of busy Fira. It was lovely to have the quiet, relaxing pool area to go to after spending some time in the city. Friendly staff and AMAZING breakfast. My only complaint would be that the shower wasn't up to standards.

I am so glad I chose this property. Right in the center of Fira. On the main road makes it easy for drop off and pick up. Easy for the luggage. The grounds are lovely. Pool is great with nice large tree for shade. Rooms are nice. Mine had a small kitchen. Best of all was the breakfast. Variety of food served on a tray. It changes each day. I looked forward to it everyday of my stay. This place is a gem.

A unique hotel, very spacious rooms in a fantastic location - right in the middle of Fira, but offset just enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Also just a few feet from the main road so easy to catch the airport transfer or for any tour pick-ups.

Lovely environs, with shady trees and a garden where breakfast was served. The breakfast was good but excessive, vast amounts of food were delivered to each table - more than anyone could eat - and it was difficult to customize. I would prefer to request from the available items what I'd like to have served instead of seeing all of that food wasted.

Overall a lovely stay, happy to have the chance to see Santorini and I definitely preferred Fira to Oia, which was too crowded to enjoy.

Avoid Junior suite, misleading ad by Hotels.com

We’ve booked this room via Hotels.com. Sadly, having read a review from a guest 10 months ago, we had to agree with their views of the Junior suite room. 1. The room advertised was not the same room showed at Hotels.com. It’s completely separate from the main building, with car rental below, overlooking a noisy Main Street and a 5cm strip of a distant sea view. We felt miss sold, as were paying a standard rate for rooms in the main building, with premium views. 2. Sadly after 10 months when first reviewer mentioned this, we were also presented with old blood stained towels, that were not replaced during our stay (2nights), only rug was taken away and not replaced. 3. We’d have thought given a 4 stars, we’d be presented a complimentary water on arrival free of charge, however water was 3 Euros, 4. It seemed the only choice in room, a decaf expresso, was half an expresso cup, to save money. The good bits are all the outside of Aria Lito rooms, a smaller pool, a pine tree, a good breakfast in a nice orangery and an option to leave your luggages onsite. We communicated with staff accordingly prior arrival and were advised the only way to get to Aria Lito was a 40Euro taxi, which we declined. There’s buses going from the harbour to Thira, and the hotel
Is 8 mins easy. If you end up booking Aria Lito, please call in advance to assure you won’t be getting the Junior suite rooms !!

Very satisfactory short stay on Santorini

Very convenient spot for exploring the island. The hotel building itself is beautiful and you can walk up some steps from the hotel right onto the old paths through Fira city and up to Imerovigli. The view of the sea on one side is great though not uninterrupted if that’s what you are looking for, and it was pretty windy from that side. Our room was really nice. - very comfortable hugs clean bed, and the shower was amazing. There were a few things broken in the room which didn’t matter but slightly detracted from the luxury (curtain falling off on one end and the toilet seat was totally loose). Car hire place just outside the hotel was great and lots of cheap eat options on the main drag. Defo recommend for a short comfortable stay on Santorini.

The location was excellent for access to Old Fira. The condition of the grounds was lacking. The pool area was not comfortable. Our room was clean and comfortable but not spacious. It’s a nice place for a short stay and easy access to village. But not a place to linger.

We stayed just one night on our way to a less Disney-fied island. The hotel was very accessible and easy to find and drive up to. And right on the edge of the old town. The room was fresh and confortable even though it was so hot outside. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The pool was nothing to write home about. And the staff was very helpful though sometimes hard to find.

Peace and privacy a midst busy, central location

The hotel is VERY centrally located in Thera, so you can easily explore the whole town from there. It is probably one of the biggest hotel properties in town, with a very large outdoor patio/terrace, and is quite peaceful a midst the very crowded, small shopping/tourist streets. The staff are super friendly. The pool is not warmed, so keep this in mind depending on the time of year you travel. There is also no caldera view, since the patio is on the east and south sides of the building. Although a long ways away, you can actually see the water on the east side of the island, but don’t choose this hotel for the view, choose it for the peace and quiet, and privacy, in a crowded area. Finally, although there is ‘free parking’ is actually a free public parking lot about 250 meters up the street from the property.

The good:
Great location in the north end of downtown Fira. The back entrance is right next to the shops and restaurants.
This is and old mansion, but very well maintained and clean.
Nice swimming pool and patio areas.
The staff is friendly and attentive.

The not so good:
The breakfast could have a little more variety. Mixed fruit seem to be out of a can, not fresh.
We selected this place because they promoted having cribs, but did not have one for us. We. Had to improvise a sleeping area with a small bed and some chairs on the side.
The building has very high ceilings, so people talking on the hallway or every small noise is heard everywhere.
Nearby church bell is very loud, so the location is not the best for sleeping in the afternoon until midnight.

Perfectly situated in the shopping alleyways, easy access to the hiking steps and cable car to /from the old port of Fira, this property was a hidden oasis! Starting your day with breakfast in the courtyard was amazing. It’s so tranquil and peaceful, as you enter the property from all the hustle and bustle. Staff were very friendly and the property was well maintained, Stacy (manager) was amazing! She provided us with recommendations and things to do. I would highly recommend this property!

The property exterior is beautiful and unlike many hotels in Fira, it is easy to access. We stayed in room H5 on the lower floor and it featured stunning vaulted ceilings and a spacious sitting area. Unfortunately I found the bed rather hard and uncomfortable.

Stacy at the front desk was lovely, as were all the staff. I enjoyed my bathtub and nice Korres bath products. The small swimming pool was refreshing on a hot day.

Breakfast was included in the stay and was quite simple with the same offerings the next day. Better quality coffee would have been appreciated. But with all the wonderful food in Greece this was not a big issue for us. We enjoyed the location very much.

Unique experience in a cozy mansion with a secret

The mansion is amazing with very elegant and comfy ambiance. Impressive tall headroom and large windows facing private garden. The experience of having morning breakfasts inside a cozy garden hidden from the neighbouring tourist area is truly unique. The staff members are friendly especially Stacey who is always so helpful with a big smile. The only regret of my stay was the water suspension right on arrival. The staff did help to offer us two large bottles of water for temporary relief!

Would choose this place again!

Great location, right by the tall church in the middle of Fira. access to the road, to the path and minutes from all restaurants and all.The Staff were amazing, Stacy and her team took care of us and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our vacation. they were personable and professional. Our room was beautiful, this is an old office building with high ceiling rooms, beautiful rooms but also clean and renovated beautifully keeping the original features. Would go back to this place again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Aria Lito Mansion. The staff was friendly and so helpful! Also, the location in Fira was amazing. We walked everywhere and were close the the bus stop when we wanted to ride to the beach or other locations! The rooms were clean and very unique. I highly recommend this location and if I return to Santorini I will stay here again.

Perfectly-located Hotel with AMAZING Staff

Service is amazing. We had to leave at 5:30am for the ferry port and Stacy at the front desk offered and arranged to deliver breakfast to our room at 5am. Extremely friendly and helpful staff especially Stacy and Gregory, the best I have ever come across. Hotel is clean, very comfortable and very well-located, right in the heart of Fira where all the shops are.
