About Aria Lito Mansion
The location of this hotel has an air of refined luxury in a tranquil oasis, and at the same time places guests in the midst of the lively capital city of Fira, providing quick access to shopping venues and nightlife.
The hotel faces towards the eastern side of the island, and from the large courtyard one can see the land sloping gently down to the Aegean Sea in the distance.
This establishment is a traditional Cycladic mansion from the mid-1900s, fully renovated and converted into 15 modern luxurious suites, superior rooms and traditional ‘cave' houses. With a history of hosting distinguished guests, the mansion stands stately in its architectural grandeur.
All bedrooms are spacious, cool and airy with high ceilings, and some are furnished with the mansion's original antique furniture.

Beautiful hotel. The location is great - right next to shopping and restaurant areas in Fira but it is like a secret garden on its own. Beautiful courtyard for breakfast services. The pool is a bit small so it is more for cooling down than swimming. I liked the vinsanto they served at the reception area and decided to buy a couple bottles to bring home.
Marjorie
Amazing !
David
Nice property close to just about everything we wanted in Santorini.

We loved our stay at the Aria Lito. It was a very relaxing peaceful getaway from all the crowds from the cruise ships.!The staff were all amazing , helpful and friendly. We would stay again without hesitation.
Brian
Was an utter delight to stay at the hotel
Location is perfect.
Accomodation is wonderful. Huge airy rooms, tall ceilings and a sense of lots of space to relax in.
The staff are amazing and always cheery and helpful.
The pool is a little haven of quiet to escape from the heat and the crowds in Fira.
Everything is on your doorstep for drinks and food with the views of the caldera but once you've seen the sun set; you're more than happy to make way back to the hotel and sit outside on the terrace to sip a wine and reflect on a lovely day.

This perfectly located hotel in Santorini exceeded our expectations. We only wished our stay was longer, Santorini has a lot to offer.
The staff at the hotel were so nice. From check in to check out everything was perfect. And the breakfast was just perfect.

Overall, blown away by this hotel. The concierge was so kind, helpful, and made sure even the tiniest detail was made right. The staff was attentive and excellent. The breakfast was incredible, with a wide array of foods, yet simple in nature.
Whenever I come back to Santorini, you bet I’ll be staying here. 10/10, incredible!

We stayed at this hotel for three days, from April 28th to 30th. Everything was excellent: a very good, clean room; a great breakfast; and a fantastic location. The staff provided top-notch service—a special thank you goes to Theodor, who was very attentive and conscientious.
Sherri
Staff was amazing, rooms were absolutely fantastic and the breakfast was so yummy.

Here I write my sincere comments from my personal experience. First of all, the supposed ocean view was actually an ocean view through a small window, it was more of a view of the workshops and car sales. Next to our room was someone who lives there permanently, in total uncleanliness with dogs and cats, so at any time when leaving or entering the room there was dog poop on the path and nobody cleaned it. The positive thing is that the attention of the receptionist was good, as well as the acceptable breakfasts, as well as the location of the hotel, although nothing to do with the photos.

Continental breakfast was lovely. Always looked forward to it. The cleaning service was spot on, our room always smelt nice and fresh and clean. There is air condition which probably helps in the height of summer but we didn't use it when we stayed in October. We loved our stay and if we come back, will probably stay here again.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the hotel it self was beautiful and well kept , as far as being central, it's bang in the center of everything in the town.
It's a really lovely place and I would highly recommend it

We absolutely loved our 2 day stay at Aria Lito Mansion and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is located near the church tower in Fira and is connected to the beautiful narrow streets. Beautiful room - large and had high ceilings and windows.
You could walk out the front door to a lovely terrace. It had a small pool which was nice.
The staff are very lovely- David and Konstantina and all the staff were excellent and were very helpful. We left something at the hotel and they contacted and sent it to us on a different island.
The hotel is one of the nicest hotels that I’ve ever stayed in as it still had period features and felt like an oasis in a busy city. I would highly recommend it and would stay again.

Nice island stay
Breakfast varied daily and was fresh and served with a friendly smile. Decent coffee and always some kind of eggs available with ham, fruit, cheese, juice, bread and coffee. We were in the annex and had an OK view of the outside street and the sea in the distance. Only real complaint: excess charges for transport from airport upon arrival and to ferry port later, but who goes to Santorini to save money?
Francisco
The breakfast was superb room was newly decorated. Excelent

Dog barking all night, that’s the only reason why it’s not 5 stars.

We had a wonderful short stay at the Aria Lito Mansion - it is beautiful and very well located. The staff were wonderful - arranged a fast room turnaround for us so we could check in early (the young woman on reception) - plus breakfast under the trees in the pretty garden was lovely. Highly recommended....
melissa
The gate door was open 24/7 I feel a little expose, at late night walking to my room.

The great hospitality service at Aria Lito.
We have a great time in Santorini and the highlight was the decision of staying at Aria Lito. The accommodation was excellent, and the quality service is due to the hotel staff who are very helpful and hospitable. The hotel should keep to retain the staff, they are the key to the hotel's great service.
Brianna
This hotel was absolutely amazing for our stay in Santorini, we were there for 4 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The staff were so welcoming and kind, the room was lovely and air conditioned. The pool was lovely to dip in on the hot days we had in santorini, and everything is within walking distance from the hotel including the bus stop and the shops of Fira.
cc
Loved this property so much !! Fabulous staff and service -nothing was too much trouble-superb and highly recommended

The staff here are wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. The location is great right in the heart of all the shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
Linda
We loved our stay at Aria Lito! Great location close to all activities in Fira. The breakfasts were amazing! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. My only complaint was the mattresses were VERY firm.
Michael Wayne
Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was more than enough and something different every morning. Hot water was an issue at least in the room we stayed in. Can’t speak for the rest of the rooms. Just wouldn’t stay hot long enough to even get through one shower. Also H3 sounded like I was sleeping next to someone brewing coffee all night. Besides that the location is GREAT especially if you’re wanting to be by all the shops and tourists spots. Would stay again if I traveled to santorini in the future.
Sean
Super convient for a short stay in Thira

A gem in the center of the city
Overall stay was excellent ! The hotel is right in the city center of Fira We asked for two beds when booked but was given a single double bed . However , Theo at the reception did try to correct the situation ! All the personnel were very friendly, helpful and polite ! Breakfast was very good , different every day ! Thank you for making our short stay in Santorini a memorable experience !❤️

Great place, great staff, wonderful experience.
Lisa
The hotel was conveniently located in Fira (not the caldera view side) and was walkable to everywhere we wanted to go to. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was a refreshing option. Breakfast - delicious! Elevator was not working.
SERGIO

Amazing stay at Aria Lita Mansion
Amazing stay at Aria Lita Mansion. The property is absolutely fabulous. The rooms clean, the service brilliant and timely and the breakfast great.

On beautiful Thira which can be overwhelmed by tourists, this hotel was so quiet and very peaceful. The hotel grounds and garden and pool felt like an oasis in the constant footsteps of day tripping cruise passengers. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the island and things to do. Breakfast was great with a lovely selection of food available. Hotel is close to an excellent restaurant Salt and Pepper which had the BEST Greek cuisine. My only suggestion is that the lighting in the hotel room was dim especially the bathroom. But who cares? We were out seeing the lovely island.
Francis
Told to switch room a day after we checkin; stated they gave us the wrong room. Very old hotel; unclean sheet. Breakfast is the best part. If you book transfer to airport though hotel; make sure you confirm it. They did not book it until I asked again to confirm.
Angela
A haven in Fira Old Quarter.
The hotel was in a great location in Fira with direct access to the old quarter, its shops, restaurants and bars. It was also a spacious haven from the busyness and activity of these close, small streets. The bus terminal was only a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast offered a good and plentiful selection. All staff were very friendly and helpful with lots of advice about local amenities and activities. FOur suite was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable though I would suggest an option of separating the two single beds. My daughter and I were sharing the room but the beds were together with double sheets on them. There was a second single bed in the suite which was useful. A small but immaculate swimming pool was very inviting though we never made use of it as we were just too busy. Our one criticism was the somewhat tired condition of the bath and shower area. It was not of the standard of the rest of the hotel.
All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aria Lito Mansion

very convenient location for walking to town of Fira. Very friendly & helpful staff & delicious full breakfast in the garden.
Maureen
The location is fantastic but this property is extremely dated and needs updating. The bed is uncomfortable, the shower has mold around the tub fixture with a super dated hand held shower attached to tub fixtures, and the rooms have really thin walls. You wil hear everything at night and with the wind in Santorini, that is a lot of noise. There is a good breakfast buffet in the garden in the morning….. staff is friendly but the place is a bit rough for the price.
Haleigh
A stair case away from all the shopping and restaurants! It is a beautiful property with some of the nicest people working there!
Martin
Rooms, staff and location all excellent. Breakfast particularly good.
An oasis of peace in a vibrant town.
Will highly recommend this hotel.

Good location near the center of Fira. A converted old mansion with charm. Great staff. Shower would go cold for a few seconds periodically but really enjoyed my stay.

Perfect location. Old (cool) mansion is now a hotel. Fantastic breakfast served in an outdoor, welcoming location. Relaxing pool for end of day relaxation.

Breakfast very limited quantity and items.

Really good location in Fira. Close to everything. Friendly Staff with breakfast service.

This hotel is very nice. The bathrooms are a little worn and desperately needs attention. The rooms we had (Suite 1 and Suite 2) were very spacious and comfortable. I loved how our room patio door lead out to the rooftop and pool. The front desk staff was very nice as well. We had no issues other than the bathrooms.

Amazing trip.
The hotel and staff were amazing! The grounds are lovely and just in the right area to be quiet but still lively too!
Breakfast is absolutely amazing and you get given so much. Nothing will top the breakfast.
The staff were also really helpful and are able to sort taxis for you.

Wonderful stay, location and service.
Very large rooms, and great service. The breakfast is by large very large & good choices. Rooms may be a little outdated but clean. They are fixing up rooms with more modern look, hopefully in a second stay we will get those.

Great location!
Excellent service. We were received by Michael, who was absolutely helpful in recommendations and then accommodating a friend that joined us at the last minute.
Definitely recommend it. Amazing breakfast, in fact they serve you too much food that I feel guilty not to be able to eat it all.

This property is like a haven in the middle of busy Fira. It was lovely to have the quiet, relaxing pool area to go to after spending some time in the city. Friendly staff and AMAZING breakfast. My only complaint would be that the shower wasn't up to standards.
Evan
I am so glad I chose this property. Right in the center of Fira. On the main road makes it easy for drop off and pick up. Easy for the luggage. The grounds are lovely. Pool is great with nice large tree for shade. Rooms are nice. Mine had a small kitchen. Best of all was the breakfast. Variety of food served on a tray. It changes each day. I looked forward to it everyday of my stay. This place is a gem.
April
A unique hotel, very spacious rooms in a fantastic location - right in the middle of Fira, but offset just enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Also just a few feet from the main road so easy to catch the airport transfer or for any tour pick-ups.
Lovely environs, with shady trees and a garden where breakfast was served. The breakfast was good but excessive, vast amounts of food were delivered to each table - more than anyone could eat - and it was difficult to customize. I would prefer to request from the available items what I'd like to have served instead of seeing all of that food wasted.
Overall a lovely stay, happy to have the chance to see Santorini and I definitely preferred Fira to Oia, which was too crowded to enjoy.

Avoid Junior suite, misleading ad by Hotels.com
We’ve booked this room via Hotels.com. Sadly, having read a review from a guest 10 months ago, we had to agree with their views of the Junior suite room. 1. The room advertised was not the same room showed at Hotels.com. It’s completely separate from the main building, with car rental below, overlooking a noisy Main Street and a 5cm strip of a distant sea view. We felt miss sold, as were paying a standard rate for rooms in the main building, with premium views. 2. Sadly after 10 months when first reviewer mentioned this, we were also presented with old blood stained towels, that were not replaced during our stay (2nights), only rug was taken away and not replaced. 3. We’d have thought given a 4 stars, we’d be presented a complimentary water on arrival free of charge, however water was 3 Euros, 4. It seemed the only choice in room, a decaf expresso, was half an expresso cup, to save money. The good bits are all the outside of Aria Lito rooms, a smaller pool, a pine tree, a good breakfast in a nice orangery and an option to leave your luggages onsite. We communicated with staff accordingly prior arrival and were advised the only way to get to Aria Lito was a 40Euro taxi, which we declined. There’s buses going from the harbour to Thira, and the hotel
Is 8 mins easy. If you end up booking Aria Lito, please call in advance to assure you won’t be getting the Junior suite rooms !!

Very satisfactory short stay on Santorini
Very convenient spot for exploring the island. The hotel building itself is beautiful and you can walk up some steps from the hotel right onto the old paths through Fira city and up to Imerovigli. The view of the sea on one side is great though not uninterrupted if that’s what you are looking for, and it was pretty windy from that side. Our room was really nice. - very comfortable hugs clean bed, and the shower was amazing. There were a few things broken in the room which didn’t matter but slightly detracted from the luxury (curtain falling off on one end and the toilet seat was totally loose). Car hire place just outside the hotel was great and lots of cheap eat options on the main drag. Defo recommend for a short comfortable stay on Santorini.

The location was excellent for access to Old Fira. The condition of the grounds was lacking. The pool area was not comfortable. Our room was clean and comfortable but not spacious. It’s a nice place for a short stay and easy access to village. But not a place to linger.
Emilie
We stayed just one night on our way to a less Disney-fied island. The hotel was very accessible and easy to find and drive up to. And right on the edge of the old town. The room was fresh and confortable even though it was so hot outside. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The pool was nothing to write home about. And the staff was very helpful though sometimes hard to find.
Anastasiia
Great location, clean and easily accessed from the main road. overall nice hotel. Breakfast was not vegan-friendly, so our family had nothing to eat unfortunately and the receptionist had a bit of an attitude.
Theresa
Helpful reception. Had great recommendations for sights and restaurants. Convenient location and nice ambience. Breakfast was simple fare.
