Location was great with incredible views, staff was friendly. Facilities very clean.

Travelers be aware the rooms with a loaf, is not a real loaf, there is no bed, only a matress on the floor of the “loaf” and you are not able to stand up straight.

Our stay at Athina Luxury Suites was amazing. We went for our intimate wedding/honeymoon and it was everything we expected. From the moment we arrived, it’s as if we were greeted by family. They accommodated ever request and even made our wedding day feel special. I highly recommend staying at Athina Luxury Suites- from the breakfast, restaurant and pool, everything was amazing. We can not wait to come back!

The resort was beautiful and the staff were top notch. I only have two down sides but they were easy to ignore as everything else was excellent.
The bar tender upstairs was incredible but the pool bartender was grumpy and didn’t even approach any of our group to place orders every time we were using the pool. Second the coffee machine was broken the morning we were checking out so we couldn’t have our morning coffee before leaving this beautiful resort. Other than the two things mentioned everything else was perfect.

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! The staff were exceptional—so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room had the most incredible view, with the perfect spot to watch the sunset every evening. Breakfast was delicious and served on the balcony of our room, which made each morning feel special. The hotel is INCREDIBLY NICE!!! They offer airport transfer for 40 euros each way. When you get to the town, there are staff who help get your luggage down to the hotel and room. Recommend to bring some cash to tip. It’s a lot of work to get luggage down. There are many stairs and descends. Wear something comfortable. The rooms are nice and clean. Bed is comfortable, firm but you sink into it. Pillow is a bit thin and soft for my liking but only preferences. Blanket is thin however the room is not super cold. You can get breakfast delivered to the room every morning. We ate on our patio overlooking the cliff and water. The view is just STUNNING. The shower is nice but the door doesn’t lock, it’s a frosted glass door. The pool is large with limited seatings. We’re visiting in May so less crowded but very pleasant. The swim up bar is nice with some seatings out of the sun. It’s VERY breezy which is incredible on hot days but tends to get a bit more chilli at night and first thing in the morning. The location is prime and is only a short 5 minutes up some steep stairs to the town center. The jacuzzi tub in our room is not heated and shuts off after a few minutes. You have to press the buttons to reactivate. Again, beware that the hotel is not accessible by vehicles of any kind. You HAVE to be able to climb stairs up and down comfortably.

Our stay was lovely. The staff is very attentive and they helped us with every request/need. The view is amazing and we got to enjoy it every morning while having breakfast in our balcony. The only thing I missed while staying here was a gym because the hotel doesn’t have one. I’d still come back to stay here because of the quality of the service and cozy rooms.

The honeymoon suite was beautiful, however we booked a honeymoon suite with outdoor “hot tub” and it was not even warm. It even had a paper above it stating it doesn’t reach temperatures more than 30-35 degrees Celsius (86-95 degrees). I think we got a room with a plunge pool instead of the stated hot tub, but otherwise it was a nice experience.

This is definitely a bucket list hotel. From the unbelievable views of the caldera to the attentive staff, our experience was amazing.
Every morning we ordered the expansive breakfast from the menu which started our day off on a high note.
If we come back there isn’t another place we would even think about staying. 5 stars all around

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was incredible, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were so so kind and attentive, and the views from our room were breathtaking. We stayed during the offseason during March which was nice it was more quiet and private. During peak season I imagine it might be a different experience with more people at the hotel. The room’s balconies are very close to each other so you will hear your neighbors if you are lounging on the patio. Lots of stairs to get down to get to the hotel itself but so worth it. Staff was kind enough to help us with our bags coming down and up the stairs. Definitely recommend this hotel! We stayed at three different hotels during our trip as we were traveling Greece and this hotel was my absolute favorite.

It was a beautiful property, we stayed in the honeymoon suite with a hot tub and a beautiful view of the Aegean sea. We could see the sunset every evening from our balcony or hot tub. The breakfast that they brought to the room every morning was exquisite and made to order. The room and hot tub was cleaned every day. They had ferragamo toiletries in the room. We stayed for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a whatsapp contact in case we needed anything. We also tried room service at the hotel for dinner one night, and the food was divine. We also spent one evening at the common heated pool and tried the swim up bar. The drinks were really good. Overall we had an amazing time and made our stay at Santorini unforgettable.

Athina might’ve been a top hotel in the past but it feels small and run down now. We booked a honeymoon suite that was advertised as 40sqm on Expedia but the room was tiny - nowhere near 40sqm; probably less than half that. There were scuff marks everywhere and the bathroom shower floor had stains and a dirty look. At night you can hear the people from above scraping their chairs loudly, enough to wake our baby multiple times. It was not at all worth the price and nowhere near a 5 star stay.

They went above and beyond in every way and treated us with so much care.

A special thanks also to Anna, who kept our room spotlessly clean and always with a smile, and to the wonderful breakfast and restaurant staff who made every meal a delight.

The team also played such a special role in helping us celebrate our engagement – something we’ll never forget. On top of that, they showed so much understanding and support during my pregnancy, which made our stay even more comfortable and memorable.

We like the property coz of its stunning view of the caldera, especially our Room (Junior Cave suite) with two windows that gave us more a very good view. The only thing that is very disturbing, especially at night are the loud music nearby the hotel. The hotel is very clean, staffs were pleasant, breakfast was very good, prepared at your own liking. Simply amazing! We’ve been to Santorini 7x now and we think this is absolutely the best hotel there! We stayed here 5 years ago and it is exactly how we remembered it. Even better. We were in honeymoon suite 12 and it was just beautiful, w our own hot tub overlooking the caldera. One thing to note is that our own hot tub and pool are heated. We had come from another property, paying a lot more and the pools & private hottub were so cold. The staff was fantastic, the location is ideal right in the heart of everything. So many restaurants and cafes nearby but there are stairs just like anywhere in Santorini. The pool has a swim up bar and overlooks the caldera which was breathtaking. This hotel is gorgeous. Trust us !

Consider making a sunset dinner reservation at their restaurant and enjoy the amazing sunset views. Dinner was excellent and the service was top notch. This is an amazing property, the view is stunning. We had the honeymoon suit and it was a daughter-mother spring break vacation. My daughter enjoyed the tub in the terrace every night, we had magical evenings. The staff was super kind and welcoming, they did everything and more for us to feel confortable. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast served daily in the room was a bonus. I’d recommend this place if you want to relax with amazing sunsets in Santorini.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Athina Luxury Suites (Honeymoon Suite) for 2 nights, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish!

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who made the check-in process smooth and efficient. They provided us with all the information we needed about the hotel amenities and local attractions.

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated within the Santorini vibes. My wife and I particularly loved the jacuzzi and enjoyed the stunning view.

The breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day, and the best part is that they deliver it right to your room so you can eat it at the comfort of your bed or while enjoying the most beautiful view (guaranteed).

The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were always friendly, helpful, and attentive. It’s clear that customer service is a priority here.

Definitely the stay fulfilled our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, exceptional service, and a great location. I can’t wait to return on my next visit!

The only cons (if any), is just to be physically and mentally prepared to walk a long stairways, definitely you will run out of breath, but do not worry, it’s worth it after all.
