The place was beautiful, very comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff is extremely friendly yet provides space. Facilities are very nice, walking distance to the beach and boardwalk (10 minutes). The pool bar also has surprisingly good food at decent prices. We loved it!

Refused to accept card payments. Told us to go and get cash from Machine. Totally unacceptable for any serious venue.

Loud house music all day long regardless of who was by the pool. Occasionally relented and played some more gentle tunes.

Avoid room 30 - we paid extra for sea view room but there is no window to see the view. You have to have the door open - then you risk the cats entering your room.

There are cats everywhere. Most guest seemed infatuated with the kittens - so the cats have no fear and won't be shooed away so beware if you are not a cat fan!!!

First impressions were great. But the mattress was old and curved shaped - firm from age. Jacuzzi broke and wasn’t repaired. Jug short the circuits the fuse board. So water stopped working on arrival.

The breakfast could have had more variety and the pool did get full even though we were there off peak season so in summer it may be hard to get a sunbed. Really reasonably priced stay for a lovely boutique hotel

Had a lovely stay at the Petri Suites. The hotel its self was extremely clean, with friendly, welcoming staff. Plenty of space to lounge around the pool and powerful showers in the rooms. Only downside would be the quality of the breakfast lots continental options which mainly consisted of pastries but nothing overly substantial/filling for the day ahead.

Other than thag lots of lovely walks to neighbouring towns such a Perissa or Vlychada (where you can watch the sunset over the marina later in the year sept/oct). Great restaurants (lava family run tavern was our favourite place to eat traditional Greek food on the sea front and beach bars where you can grab cocktail in the town of Agios Georgios.

Overall a highly enjoyable stay and would go back

We loved our stay at Petrie Suites! Will be coming back for sure! Lovely staff and service, really clean and beautiful rooms/suites and really close to really anything on Santorini. Great view of the ocean and we loved the pool. Yummy breakfast included with our stay and we got to see all kinds of cute kittens during our stay here. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay that has lots to offer and is close to the ocean and restaurants!

We stayed for a week and the accommodation was lovely, very clean and house keeping was everyday which was a bonus. The staff were amazing, they could not do enough for us and always smiling and made us feel very welcome. I don’t know how they did it because they all worked very long hours.
Thanasis the reception chap was amazing, he really knows the island well, and gave us lots of tips on our travels, totally informative and charming with it as well.
Petri suites were a joy to stay in, and would definitely return. The only critic I would say and this is only minor, is that the pool facing top floor suites could do with privacy screens between the balconies, other than that we had a fabulous stay and thank you again to all the staff that made our stay enjoyable 😊

Comfortable stay near the beach

Nicely decorated hotel with a lovely, quiet pool area. Short walk to mini market and beach, both very handy. Tasty pastries at breakfast although an option for proper coffee would be good. Room was very large and had plenty of space, fridge could have been colder.

Some of the decor is looking a bit shabby and could do with an upgrade. The a/c seems to emit a bit of a sewage smell when you first enter the room (although you get used to it quickly).

Staff generally very nice and friendly, the guy at the bar was quite often MIA when we wanted a drink though.

Overall, a comfortable stay for the price and ideal if you want a peaceful place to stay near the beach in Santorini.

Try Sea Side for dinner and also Lava Tavern for something more authentic.

This place is a gem! If you are looking for a getaway for 2. I loved it. My partner and I rented an ATV vehicle and drove the island. We covered lots of the sightsseing this way. It was amazing and fun. Then we returned to a quiet cozy Petri. We had a beach and restaurants 10 minute walk.the Staff was amazing! Just remember showers and sink water is Salted. This place for us was heavenly!!!

Absolutely beautiful small hotel. Every detail carefully thought out. Both simple and luxurious at the same time. The staff are relaxed, friendly and so helpful. It is a 10 minute walk at most to the best beach on the island and many high quality bars and restaurants. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

This is the type of hotel to retreat to. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms (some with jacuzzis). The ocean view from the pool deck and the second story rooms is a dream come true. The free drinking water at times was a plus. Great, professional, friendly staff.

Literally the best service throughout this boutique hotel! The chef makes a massive breakfast spread every morning with everything super fresh from chocolate croissants to several varieties of eggs to so many puff pastries filled with veg to meat. And the jams are to die for let alone the fresh feta which btw I took some to my room ;)
Reception were super kind and really helped me out in so many ways! The driver was really cool and when he drove me Oia for the day, on the way before we got there, he gave me a surprise view just because. It was amazing! Plus he's super friendly and as a solo female traveler, he made me feel safe. Was always in communication.
The bartender was beyond gracious and such a gentleman. He's a ton of fun and made really great drinks! He was also making sure of my well being including the other guests at the bar. Works hard, knows how to make conversation if you want to & always had a smile :)
The hotel itself is super clean & very nice. There is a mini mart 4m walking distance and they have pretty much everything. The beach is a 6m walk with many restaurants to choose from.
I would come back here again just for the staff alone as they treated me like a queen!

Don't do it. We actually switched hotels. Limescale covered shower head and handheld shower wand. Easily preventable. The cluster of lights above the bed would not go out, they tried to fix it but it didn't work. The one night we stayed there we had to sleep with the lights on. The room itself is very nice, but no. Breakfast was not good. The staff was very nice and very apologetic over the substandard appearance of the hotel. They were in agreement that this was not acceptable. The manager/owner needs to pay more attention to the property.

From check in to check out they were sooooo accommodating! Small place with little traffic but I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Just about a 10 minute walk are restaurants along a black sand beach. If I ever go back this is where I’ll be staying!

The staff look after you perfectly, and really went the extra mile

They can help you to book things like activities, taxis, transfers & dinner reservations

For example, they were able to provide us with great vegan options at breakfast which can be difficult for some other establishments

Pool was excellent & so were the cocktails at the pool bar

Room was top notch. It felt very chic. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful whenever you needed help. The pool area was really great. The bartender Nicolas was also really good fun. Lots of photo opportunities. Lots of restaurants in close proximity. The beach was also in close proximity and easy enough to get to other villages either by public bus or taxi. Overall i really great stay. I will definitely be going back. Why change a good thing. 🙃

Nice location walking distance to the beach which has lots of activities and restaurants that are less crowded than other areas.

Hotel was in a quiet area, which did make it a bit distant from Thera and Oia. There is a bus system, otherwise taxi needs to be arranged by front desk, which is staffed 24hrs and very helpfull in arranging excursions.

Due to small size restaurant menu is a bit limited, but breakfast was awesome. Pool bar was nice as well. Friendly staff everywhere.

The location was great! Rooms were pretty good and beds were very comfortable. However, the pool area is relatively small and if there are children there, you cannot escape their noise by the pool (running, screaming, crying). That is more on the parents for not keeping their kids in check, but beware!

The hotel was showing on hotels com website near to ancient Thera and center of Perissa

Hotel was on edge of main beach but good 500-700 meters walk away. Quite relaxing though and ok for price in august around 100 gbp a night with good breakfast.

Room cleaning was slow, towels smelt musty or similar.

Our stay was terrific. Beautiful small hotel with kind staff. Maria was particularly terrific. Come here when you need to get away from it all and just relax. Only critique is the hot tub wasn’t very hot and the front desk the last day tried to make us check out early. You won’t be disappointed.

Having lived and travelled extensively in Greece, we were looking for Greek Chic and this ticked all of the boxes and then some. Beautiful suites in a quiet location, cleaned thoroughly every day to the standard of five star hotels, absolutely immaculate. A couple of minutes walk to the beach and enough tavernas and restaurants to suit all appetites. We will be recommending Petri Suites to other people looking for a similar escape!

On arrival we were downgraded without any explanation or offer of refund. It appeared that George or Maria didn’t want to help us. We were informed that Hotel.com made the mistake and at one time Maria asked if we would like to leave. We were also told by George that he had sent an email to Hotels.com but when I enquired this was untrue. It’s a pity because this place could be good. The bed was extremely comfortable and very well decorated but it was very noisy, upstairs jacuzzi kept us awake. We felt at this time that that the management were unapproachable, therefore didn’t complain. Also our hot-tub was facing the restaurant where staff sat smoking outside which put us off eating there and made us feel uncomfortable using the hot-tub. I would avoid this property, it will always be a 2 star unless the management team change their attitude.

Maria and George are excellent hosts and waited for me to arrive after my flight took 9+ hours to arrive to Santorini due to weather. And because the weather was so bad the hotel did not have the pool running, and there was some construction going on, but that didn’t take away from my experience whatsoever. I loved my room and stay because of the staff!

I am writing to let you know about my very unusual experience at this hotel. I am very disappointed that I paid more than $1600 for four nights at a place that was very uncomfortable and unkempt. Petri Suites was extremely dusty and dirty, perhaps as the very nice manager said, because it was renovated recently. Nonetheless, as we shared several times with the staff, we were all coughing, highly allergic, and uncomfortable. They said they would clean the room which they did the first and third nights but forgot to clean the room the second night. While the pool and its deck were beautiful, it was closed for three of the four days we were there because it was full of green algae. They drained the pool and spa and tried to fill it but it never got opened even up to the day we left. What’s worse is that we did swim in the green colored pool the first day. My younger son now has an ear infection. The refrigerator in our room was broken so the manager pulled it out of its closet which was a problem because the room was very tight. We were told that we would get a room for four of us that had a sea view. The only view we could get of the sea was if our solid wood door was open. The sea is a very long walk from Petri Suites. The view we had Windows we could see through was of a junkyard full of metal and scraps and other trash. We could see laundry, cats, and other undesirable things. The drain was clogged and the room was flooded with soapy sink water. They did

2 petits bémols : le déjeuner est vraiment pas terrible ni par la qualité des produits, ni par le choix. Ensuite le bar de la piscine n'est pas adapté à des touristes (cher, peu de choix, peu d'envie de faire plaisir...). Totalement incohérent avec le cadre de cet hôtel de charme et de calme... Dommage pour ces 2 éléments !

Een heel relax SUITE. Wel jammer dat de badkamer van glas is gemaakt en niet mat was. Ik had een 3 persoonskamer. We moesten zelf de badkamer afschermen, zodat ons kind ons niet kon zien douchen. Verder een gewelsig hotel in een rustig omgeving.

Expérience très moyenne, sur les photos tout a l’air beau et bien entretenu, mais une fois sur place c’est bien différent, propreté ok, mais l’entretien du matériel laisse à désirer notamment jacuzzi, douche.
Très peu de place pour les affaires, une seule petite penderie.
Le jacuzzi privé est vitrée ce qui offre au autre client qui ce trouve à la piscine et au bar une superbe vue sur vos baignade.
Le déjeuner est très peu varié et de basse qualité, il faut prendre ça propre boisson car les boissons proposés sont horrible même l’eau…
Cependant l’hôtel est bien situé si vous aimer le calme, la zone n’est pas trop touristique mais proche quand même des plages et restaurants.
Attention à la bouteille de vin offerte dans la chambre le jour de l’arrivé qui vous sera ensuite facturé 35€ en partant.
