Place is not located far from Peddlers Village. Free breakfast is standard fare if you've stayed at a hotel offering this service. My chief complaint was the bed was caved into the middle.

I gave my name and room number but the employee did not ask me for ID or anything. I even asked if they wanted to see it and he said no. Upon my departure I told the person on duty about the situation and he was very surprised. Also the faucet in the bathroom was loose and coming away from the sink.

When we first arrived to our room our key did not work, but there was a maintenance worker taking down Christmas lights nearby and he came straight over to ask if we needed assistance, let us in to our room so we could unload our luggage, and then kindly went back to the front desk with our keys to get them activated. I wish I had gotten his name, because he went out of his way for us and did it all with a smile, despite being out in the rain on a winter night.

The room and the entire property needs to be updated and properly maintained. The showerhead is a joke, not to mention that the hot water runs out very quickly. The cable tv went out at about 10:30 on Friday evening and was out until about 10 AM Saturday morning. When I went down to the lobby at about 9 AM Saturday morning to see what was being done about it, the young man at the front desk told me they will call the cable company. I asked why they hadn't called before now and his answer was they were hoping it would reset itself. That is unacceptable. They should have offered me some sort of compensation. The hotel staff were all very young and lacked the skills to be in the service business. There was no sign of management throughout my 4 day stay. The only positive thing I can say about the place is that the bed was very comfortable.

The rooms are very dated and need a major overhaul. We were given a room and the tv and telephone didn’t work. They immediate moved us to another room and the phone, clock and many outlets didn’t work. There was no hot water and look like there was some mold in the bathroom. There were visible stains on the mattress cover. I will not consider this the next time I stay there.

We had two rooms that were side-by-side and both rooms had an odor of sewer gas. When I called they simply sent maintenance up and he sprayed “odor eliminator” which only made it worse because now it smelled like sewer gas and room freshener. I don’t know what he sprayed but it was causing me to cough and he said I should wait at least 10 minutes to go back into my room! We will never stay there again.

This hotel was nothing like is pictured. It is extremely old. Room was outdated and extremely small. It is more of a motel,,,,room doors are all on the outside. We could hear everything outside our window. Stayed for 15 minutes and then left. Extremely disappointed. Paid good money and didn't even end up staying due to the conditions.
