Loved the location, the view and the people. Breakfast was good and it came at time you ordered it . Location was great as you were so close to everything including the bus stop to get around the island. Easily walk to restaurants and stores. The view was spectacular for sunsets and watch the cruise ships. Loved our stay and would stay there next time we come to Santorini

The best features of this hotel are the view, and the spacious balcony - we stayed in an Executive Room which is on the 3rd floor. We had the best sunset view from our balcony during our 4-day stay in Santorini.

The hotel property and our room are clean. Our bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the booking and was brought to the room at the time slot we selected. The breakfast menu is decent and you can change your choices at the front desk daily if you'd like.

The location of the hotel is convenient, minutes of walk to central Fira. It doesn't have its own parking space but you can drive up to to the hotel to unload/load your luggage. You'll need to contact the front desk in order to pass a gate near the hotel. After unloading, we parked our rental car in a public parking lot about 5 minutes away down hill. It's crowded and uneven parking but it's free.

The preferred and effective method of communication with the hotel is via WhatsApp. The breakfast and room service people occasionally missed a couple of things. All in all, we are very happy with our stay at the Last Sunbeam. Thanks!

We loved this property. We had our own private view of the sunset from our balcony which was spectacular. A delicious breakfast was served to us on our balcony each morning. The pool was very quiet and a perfect place to relax after our hike to Oia. It was within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the bus. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here!

This a great little hotel run by a very nice other and daughter team. The service was great with a lot of personal touches. Breakfast was made to order and delivered by the proprietor and her daughter every morning.

This place is awesome! Nice quiet 10 room hotel at the edge of Fira. It’s about five minutes to walk to all the action but all the nice quiet when you are ready to call it a night. Breakfast was a hilight and the pool overlooks the Caldera. It’s a nice boutique hotel. We will be back.

Loved our time here!

Our stay was great, we arrived a little too early and wanted to see if they would hold our bags, instead since our room was cleaned they let us in early AND made us breakfast. It is totally walkable to everything in Fira and even firostefani. Near the bus station too to get everywhere else. It’s very quiet and clean. Highly recommend

Blissful - What a view!

We hadn't had a sunshine holiday in 10 years and The Last Sunbeam delivered exactly what we were looking for. The hotel team of Eneida and the breakfast ladies were wonderfully helpful.
The hotel itself is really well located on the edge of busy Thira. We stayed for 8 nights which is unusual for this hotel with the island hoppers. For shorter stays this is perfect, quiet round the pool, fantastic breakfast and the rooms although fairly basic are fine. I must also point out the aircon was very good.

The feature of all features is the view. People pay a lot of money for a restaurant or cocktail bar to watch the sunset. Stay at the Last Sunbeam, get a bottle of wine and watch it from your balcony in absolute quiet. Or from the pool. total relaxation.....

Sunbeam will greet you with a postcard view of Santorini. It is walking distance to all you need. Every morning and evening you will smile as the donkeys ride by. Location of bus stop and supermarket is very convenient. Don’t bother organising transport from the airport. The 2 euro bus is amazing. Breakfast served on your balcony is also a treat.

Tranquil hotel near Fira’s nightlife

Amazing hotel. Perfect view, impeccable service. They helped us with airport transfers, quad rentals, etc. Also prepared a boxed breakfast on our early departure day. The hotel is on the edge of the busy central part of Fira, which makes it convenient, but also quiet and tranquil. Excellent beds, cool and calm, nice pool, and a private terrace for our room service breakfast (included!). Strongly recommend.

The last sunbeam gave us the Caldera Jews we we looking for. The staff was superb. We had breakfast served to our patio every morning. The other thing we found was they provided laundry service for a few that allowed us to freshen up our laundry. They also provide fee based transportation to/from the airport.


Overall we really enjoyed our stay with peaceful nights on our balcony enjoying a night cap

Amazing hotel. Breakfast every morning delivered to your room for the time you want. Our room we entered through our balcony and the breakfast would be waiting for us (see pic). Views are amazing and all rooms appear to face this. Check in was easy and fast. Fantastic location, right on the most southern point of Thira out of the way, but a few minute walk to the main area. Bus station only a 5 min walk to get around the island. All rated 5 star, except for comfort at a 4. Only reason being the walls are very thin! But have been told most buildings this way in Santorini. Could hear the conversation of the room next door, and also there toilet habits! If we returned to the island, we would stay here again and would recommend to all!

Fantastic location 5 minutes walk from the buzz of the main town centre. Private, quiet, and secluded - a hidden gem and haven.
Amazing sunset view from our bedroom where you can see pretty much Santorini end to end from Oia to Akrotiri and of course the volcano and islands.
Breakfast served to the room each morning with good selection.

This hotel is beautifully situated in a quiet position but with outstanding views over the caldera. Having said that it’s also within very easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Thira. Our rooms were large, clean and with all the facilities we needed. The views from the large balconies must be as good or better than you could get anywhere else in Thira - spectacular! The staff were friendly and helpful and having a lovely breakfast delivered to your room each morning was a nice bonus. We spent a very happy week and would thoroughly recommend staying at The Last Sunbeam to anyone.

Incredible views, amazing room, amazing breakfast, Eneida (hotel receptionist) was extremely friendly and accommodating. I could not fault this hotel.

It is on the quiet side of the Thira/Fira but is not too far from the best spots. It is called the Last Sunbeam for a reason - it is the last hotel to get the sun geographically speaking in this area of Thira/Fira, it offers you the best sunset.

Minor improvement would probably be wifi as it can be sketchy at times but it really didn’t matter to us that much.

Our travel plans changed because of a transportation strike in Greece and we had to arrive early. Ida at reception was amazing and answered our inquiry about arriving early right away. She was able to allow us extra early check in which saved us being stranded for half a day! The room was very nice and clean and had an incredible view of the water and volcano island. Maybe the best part of the trip was waking up to an amazing breakfast and enjoying it on our balcony. Or maybe it was watching the sunset from our balcony with a bottle of local wine from the supermarket less than a 5 minute walk away. The hotel has a great location, just outside of the main area so it is quiet and very close 5 min walk from the bus depot. Thank you for a lovely stay! We cannot express how much we enjoyed our time here.

Great place to explore Santorini

The view was fantastic. It's conveniently locatted within walking distance from all the restaurants but still accessible by car. Breakfast was a nice touch as we could eat it with a stunning view. Panos (manager) went above and beyond to help us arrange transfer, amazing boat trip and restaurant suggestions. He was very helpful and funny!

The location of the hotel was perfect. Being at the most southernly edge of Fira it was away from the hustle and bustle, but it was only a short walk from the centre, restaurants etc. The view from the hotel (our room balcony or the pool) was as good as you could get in any of the other more expensive hotels.

The breakfast service was excellent, both the food itself, the ordering and delivery process. On top of that to be able to sit on your balcony and eat breakfast whilst taking in the view was pure luxury.

The staff were helpful and efficient.

Wonderful place to stay everything you could want very friendly staff amazing breakfast views sunsets walking distance to the main strip

Only down side is the plumbing is noisy and on the first night kept us awake. I was poorly on the last night and therefore was flushing the loo ALL night. I felt so sorry for everyone in the other rooms

Overall, the stay was good and I would definitely recommend this place to stay at if one wanted to stay in the Fira area. As one stated earlier, it is at the very end (south) of Fira and is the last hotel in the area with Caldera views. Having said this, it's at most a 5 minute walk from the hustle & bustle of central Fira, so I find this completely acceptable. Plus there's a sizable supermarket just 3 minutes away that is super convenient and good value.

Pros: The view is the best and the primary reason I would stay at this place again! I recommend you book either a superior room or an executive room for the most privacy from your balcony. Ability to check-in early (assuming the rooms were available)

Cons: Not sure how \"sound-proof\" the walls are, but I definitely could hear my neighbors moving about their room (e.g., toilets flushing, showers running, chairs moving) and even dogs barking in the night.
