My family and I recently stayed at Hotel Anamnesis and had a fantastic experience! The hotel's location was absolutely perfect, just a stone's throw away from the main Fira bus terminal and within walking distance to all the top attractions in Fira. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was also delicious and had a great selection. Overall, I'd highly recommend Hotel Anamnesis to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Fira!

They made the room up everyday with fresh towels and they went out of their way to please us. Anamnesis was a fantastic hotel resort which had great views to the ocean. They had a great breakfast offering traditional Greek food ranging from cold food to cooked food, they also had a nice area with a swimming pool, the hotel was very close to the shops convenience stores and the bus station which ended up being our main form of transport where we could go anywhere on the island and return back to Fira and within a five minute walk you have the spectacular views of all the restaurants overlooking the sea, the staff were fantastic. Couldn’t do enough to help us and the overall location was perfect.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for being walkable to the city center while still giving some reprieve from the business of Fira. The immediate area around the hotel is nothing glamorous but it is still safe and adequate for an affordable stay. There is a convenient parking lot at the end of the road that always had spots available (during the month of May) for parking your own car. If you want caldera views, you would have to book another location but that often comes at a much higher price. If you want an affordable clean, friendly, and walkable location this hotel should be a perfect match.

Anamnesis for Santorini Memories
We had an amazing stay with Anamnesis. We got a little unlucky with the weather one day, but Santorini never disappoints. Sophia and the staff were absolutely incredible. I felt like our personal happiness was the most important thing in their day, a personal touch that was very noteworthy. We stayed in \"the Cave\" which was unique in many ways, and very spacious. The rooms were very comfortable and had lots of amenities. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff had good variety including personally made goods. The location was great, just off the main section enough to be quiet, but close enough to be walkable to all the sights. Thank you Sophia and staff for a beautiful stay on this beautiful island!

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Fira bus station and to the centre of Fira with shops and restaurant where you can easily find a place to see the sunset in Fira on the edge of the caldera. Shophia the receptionist gave us a great restaurant recommendation of the Pelican Kipos cafe and wine tasting - delicious food in a beautiful garden setting. The balcony of the room was tiny and not solely a pool view as you could also see the maintenance area, washing line, etc. A large sea view balcony for the sunrise was available, opposite the room. We stayed 1 night, breakfast was good but some of the bread and pastry item's were a bit stale.

Beautiful, quiet and very comfortable little spot just down the hill from all the hotspots including restaurants, shops and the cable car to the old port. Lots of spa extras if you are in need of a massage etc. Local bus to anywhere on the Island is also just a short walk away.

The property was clean and staff were very kind and helpful. The receptionist briefed us on all the must see places on the island too which was very helpful. However the superior room which we had was smaller than pictures showed, the road outside constantly has cars going past, our view was interrupted by a large unmanaged piece of land and we had 2 power cuts during our stay, after which our hot tub was no longer hot.

We had a great stay! Theodosia was exceptionally helpful and welcoming as were the other staff throughout our stay! The room had an amazing view from the balcony and was quite comfortable. The property was conveniently located yet still quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and on our last day we had to leave for the airport before breakfast would be open so they arranged a takeaway box for us. This is one example of the amazing hospitality. We’ll stay here again!!

Don’t like the idea of leaving room keys when going out, if no one in attendance leaving keys on the reception desk isn’t good. Anyone can take the keys which have a safe key on them because there is not always someone there to receive them. Also when returning the reception was not always manned to get your keys back so you had to wait. You could not always ring the reception belll as this was removed from the counter. Look over the other side of the counter and ther weeper all the the room keys that were left that anyone could take.that means acsess to rooms and safes. I never left my room keys.

We book a room described as a duplex. When we arrived the room is a loft with steep stairs to to loft level. We requested another room. We were informed that no other rooms were available. We are to be let out of our obligation as the stairs would be dangerous for us to go up and down. The management refused even with a phone call from Hotels.com.

Great service and location. Loved the rooftop pool area although it was too cold to use the pool. The bed was uncomfortable (really really hard and I like firm mattresses). Room was spacious and clean. Overall great stay!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was pretty nice. Great safe location, 5 minute walk to the main square and the main Fira bus station (best & cheapest way to see different parts of the island). Our room was clean, the bed comfy and shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was yummy with eggs, OJ, coffee & tea, meats, fruits, croissants (custard ones were the best!), bread and cereals. Only one thing I want to mention, there was some dog barking that woke me up for 2 nights during the early morning hours. I think it's the neighbor across the road. Even so, I definitely recommend this boutique hotel.

Excellent service, very friendly staff, rooms not luxurious but very comfortable, and with amenities, very nice veranda next to rooms. Breakfast service is excellent and with good variety. Hotel has a nice pool but not heated so it was cold for September. Location is good within walking distance to centre but being a mountainous area lots of uphill and downhill. Overall very enjoyable stay.

Amazing choice! It's in the heart of Fira: walking distance to bus station to get anywhere across the island, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and best views. At the same time the taxi will drive you right to the door so you don't have to deal with your laggage over hundreds of steps:)

Very well located. Is it directly on the street so you can hear noise a good part of the night. If you're a light sleeper, try to get a room Whit a window that is not by the street. Our from did not had AC so we slept with the windows open.

2 receptionists are friendly & happy to help guests as possible as they can. The location of hotel is near by Fira bus station; so that it is easy access to Oia, Kamari beach & other towns. It is small hotel but facilities & services are in great standard. If breakfast options and quality can be improved will be perfect. Overall, this hotel is a good accommodation to stay.
