Anna at the restaurant was great at suggesting gluten-free options for my mom and I! Also made a great cappuccino’s! Everything was thoroughly walkable and the shuttle to and from the airport was extremely worth it! The room was great and came with a fridge and kettle! Would highly recommend staying there again!

I thought this was a great place. We stayed in the cave room sea view with indoor hottub and the room was wonderful. I really enjoyed mornings on the patio which is very private and evening soaks in my indoor private pool. Lots of hot water, the bed is comfy enough and the housekeeping staff do an incredible job. There are lots of amenities provided, robes, toothbrush, water, tea coffee, slippers and shampoo. The reception staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. We originally booked for 4 nights but stayed an extra two because we just didn’t want to leave. There is a nice restaurant and two pools with great lounge beds. This hotel is on the backside of the hill in Fira but within easy walking distance of all the markets and crowds. Personally I prefer my room to be in a quiet space. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to be close to Fira but not right in the middle of it. The a/c works and it is quite!

Being a VIP with hotels.com they not only gave us a massive upgrade, but provided us a great bottle of wine, a lovely note and sweet treats from their restaurant! They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and having a good time!

Great check in. Lovely room with a cave hut tub (not so hot though), cave shower and two queen size beds in lovely bedrooms. Close to restaurants, bars and supermarket and not far from the airport. Would stay again when we visit Santorini.

Disappointing Service Based on rate quoted

Beware of the deceptive price advertising practices of this property! Six friends booked a 4-night stay through Hotels.com at the Eugenia Suites Santorini. Our group of 4 booked a 2-bedroom suite with a hot tub during our stay. Upon arrival we were told that even though we had already paid in full for the accommodations, the room we booked was only for 2 people and an additional $640 Euros would need to be paid immediately since there were 4 of us in the suite. We were tired after almost 24 hours of travel and we agreed to pay and told the check-in person we would dispute this with the owner Geroge the next day. We had a discussion with George and he was going to contact Hotels.com to help us with these additional charges. Three days later all we got from him were multiple excuses and that we would have to call Hotels.com to dispute the charges even though the charges were made directly to his hotel. We also questioned George about the airport transfer charges. The hotels.com ad stated that the charge was 25 Euros and he charged us 50E. His comment was that the website needed to be updated. He makes excuses instead of accountability and making good on problems.

The property itself is quite nice although the accommodations were not as expected. There was no door on the bathroom suite area. There was a door on the toilet room and shower. There was no way to take a shower privately if others were present in the suite.

I would not return to this property.

We spent two days in Fira. Nice and helpfull staff.
Decent breakfast buffet.

Compared to the other properties that are very central, wee liked that this one was a few minutes (<10 min walking) away from all santorini craziness which made it a bit more relaxing. Still therfe are 4 adjecent properties next to it so expect some noise levels. Overall, location was good and accessible to transport.

Cons:
1- the pool was not necessarily teh cleanest pool.
2- the bathrooms are a tad small and also there were no hangers for towles.

I am extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel.
I was humiliated and disrespected by staff in front of a restaurant full of people (katsaboo restaurant on hotel property) all because i was unaware of the dresscode. My partner and myself brought this to the attention of the receptionist and all she said was that she would look into it and would get back to us but never did. She just continued to deny that what I experienced was not true. My partner then continued to call and the receptionist kept giving excuses that the person was not on site when we saw them several times that day. After several calls we gave up and she never followed up or even apologized for her colleague or tried to compensate us for this. This was our first time in greece and by far the worst experience. I will never return to this hotel and would never recommend it to anyone. So disappointed

This place is a dream. I truly enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings, the views, the staff and cleanliness of my room and facilities. Everyone on the property really cares about your comfort and stay. Christina at reception, is magnificent, a true gem. She gives amazing recommendations for restaurants and activities. She gives legit great recommendations, not trying to upsell you anything. The sailing trip was by far the best activity I ever done while on holiday, highly recommend. My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights at the property. We loved the fact that it was within walking distance to the center of Fira (10-15 minutes) but not smack in the middle of things. There are two pools - the upper one was pretty sleepy but the lower one had good energy without feeling like a day club. The highlight of this hotel was most definitely the staff. They were attentive and friendly from the time we arrived and made us feel extremely welcome throughout.

Our stay was amazing, we felt very comfortable and relaxed. The hotel has amazing features and nice views. Our room was very clean and the design was very chic. The hot tub in our room is like a spa. Breakfast was amazing. The hosts Georgie and Christina were very helpful and made us feel welcome and made our stay stress free. We had a great stay at Evgenia.
Was a little confusing at first, because the name \"Evgenia\" wasn't well signposted and we didn't know it was part of the Calm Collection (but we noticed this afterwards).
Elena at check in was awesome - very helpful and informative and very lovely. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, especially Johnny at Katsaboo and the cleaning staff.
The rooms were beautiful and clean and the pool areas were exquisite. I guess we were lucky that occupancy was probably affected by Covid-19 because we had the upper pool area to ourselves on occasion!
The location was also good, with access to the main Thira thoroughfare 5-10 mins walk away.
We booked the room with breakfast, and it was a decent spread (the bread and pastries were delicious!), but having the same breakfast 5 days in a row, it would've been good to have a bit of variety.

Caution! Hotel management cannot be trusted.

I booked 4 “Junior Suites” at this hotel for our group trip to Santorini. All 4 couples paid the same rate. One \"suite\" (really just a room) was much smaller than the others and had a very small bathroom with a tiny shower that leaked all over the bathroom. Only one of the four couples received an actual suite.

Upon confronting the hotel manager (Elena), we were told “all rooms are the same”. When we disputed that, she offered to move us to another room for a night saying we might have to move back to previous room next day. She would let us know by 11 am if we were required to move back.

The following day, we were not informed we had to move back to the tiny room. We spent time talking with Elena that morning and she provided us with directions for a 4-wheeler trip. She said nothing about moving us and we left the hotel for the day. After we left, she went into our room, packed our belongings & moved us back to original room. We confronted Elena upon return, receiving only excuses why she moved us without telling us. NO remorse or apology, saying it was our fault!.

As far as I can tell from Expedia, the hotel's lowest level of rooms are all called \"Junior Suites\"---but they are clearly not suites. Basic bait-and-switch.

It was ok. The room was tiny and the bed and pillows extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom has a glass swing door so not much privacy. The location was good, 10 minutes walking distance to the square. We stayed at nicer and larger places in Greece that have complimentary breakfast for a similar price. In general our interaction upon arrival felt very much like a sales pitch and less like a warm welcome.

In full honesty, I didn't actually stay at the property. I had booked a stay at Evgenia, and then less than 12 hours later I had to cancel it because of a travel difficulty, and despite the very short amount of time between booking and request to cancel, they refused to refund my money. I contacted the hotel directly, and afterwards I got in touch with Expedia to put in the request for a refund on our behalf, and they refused Expedia as well. Very unfortunate (and unkind) way to do business. So as I said, I didn't end up staying there, so I don't really know what kind of hotel it is. But based on how I was treated, if I ever go back to Santorini, I certainly wouldn't go there.

This property was amazing. Although the room was a bit small the hotel overall is beautiful and the location is a 10 min walk from the city center. The hotel was quiet and the pools were never crowded which we enjoyed. The staff made this stay extremely special for us. They were welcoming and very much attentive to our needs. A little piece of heaven

The customer service, the property, the hospitality, and my complete experience at Evgenia during my stay in Santorini was perfect! Elena at the front desk was so sweet and welcoming. She was a joy to see everyday. George and George and Paul were all very helpful and kind to me-helping me to navigate throughout Santorini as a solo traveler. My room was spacious, clean and comfy, had a view of the ocean and a pool, a balcony that I watched the sunrise on every morning and an amazing rain shower that I loved. The room did have a faint smell of maybe paint or something, but there was an air purifier in there that came on with the power and I bought a candle and no longer noticed whatever the smell was. The two pools were beautiful and offered chic relation experiences for hotel guests. The hotel is perfectly located near all the happenings of Fira, but nestled in a quiet corner for the peace necessary during your holiday. Daily, I walked only 8 minutes into Fira town to the local bus station which took me all over the island in 4 days! I’m big on riding the city busses when I travel so this was great for me. Taxis are expensive so having the bus station right nearby was perfect. Fira town in itself has so much going on, so often I ate meals there that were enjoyable, which were all just a few minutes walk from the hotel. My last day I had a late flight out so I was happy to be able to have a pool day, use their shower accommodations for checked-out guests and still feel at home!

Thanks for a great stay made extra memorable by George and Elena!

We stayed just for one night, but it was no problem for Elena to arrange a late pick up from the port. We were met by George who gave us an entertaining ride up to the hotel, and took us straight to our room for the night. The room was really cute, and well kitted out. It was nearby the pool and the colours were very typical of Santorini!

Elena was happy to book a late lunch for us at the nearby Avantis Winery and arrange our trip back to the airport later in the day.

Overall it was a really good stay and hopefully we will be back again some time!

It was horrible experience with the management. I was shocked with the blantant dishonesty and disappointed the hotel refused to consider any compensation for putting me into a different hotel with much smaller room. It is a long story and I would like to present all facts for your consideration.

1. My stay was from April 5 to April 7, reserved on Feb 22 and prepaid. The Evgenia was in renovation at checking in and the manager George put me to next door Callia Retreat without telling. When questioned he lied that the room is the Evgenia room but has other brands. The room given was half size of the reserved Superior Suite at Evgenia.
2. The room was prepaid so I don't have choice to move voluntarily. George emailed me one week prior to arrival that I need to move to other hotel because his hotel needs repair due to rain. Before I had time to switch, he emailed me again the hotel was ready for the clients. Obviously he was lying.
3. The check-in was bad as no staff was there because it was late evening and it was pouring rain. I have to make international call with roaming charge. Georg showed up 10 minutes later and blamed Expedia for failing to inform me about the checkin.
4. I reported the \"bait and switch\" with Expedia. The hotel initially denied then accepted the fact they put me into different hotel after I presented the attached pictures.

It is upsetting Evgenia is not honest about the room switch and unwillingness to compensate the room difference afterwards.

The owners were very friendly and did everything possible so we would enjoy our stay at their Villa. The internet was not working in the rooms, and it was the Orthodox Easter holidays so they could not fix it. They upgraded us to a bigger room to compensate and allowed me to work in the lobby at any time so I could be connected to my office. I was connected and the important thing is that they went the extra mile to provide an excellent service. My husband and I will definitely go back!

My family had the most remarkable tour in Santorini at Evgenia Villas & Suites! Not only everything was perfect, but we felt in every instance that George (managing director) and his crew truly cared about us. They did their best to make this trip memorable and succeeded: it was marvelous, adventurous, a stunning journey, great accommodation, friendly faces, amazing culinary experiences, all the history... just breathtaking! Something we will remember and cherish for many many years to come.
Swimming in crystal blue waters, hiking, relaxing on the boat or by the swimming pool at the hotel... we definitely will be back!

We spent 5 nights in Santorini and this was the perfect hotel for our stay. George #1 picked us up from the airport and gave us the best suggestions for our trip, our check-in was seamless. We checked-in early, our hotel was spotless, amazing view of the sea. George #2 (hotel manager) was there for everything we needed and set-up all of our tours, transportation. The pool food/drink was absolutely amazing, Pavlos (bartender/chef) was exceptional...by far best food/drink and service we experienced in Santorini. This hotel is within walking distance of the main square (Shopping/ restaurants). I would highly highly recommend booking this hotel, it was 10/10 and one of the highlights of our trip.

The hotel was very clean and perfect for a group of mid twenty year olds traveling together. The rooms were spacious and nice. The location was great because it was a ten minute walk to Fira so it was never crowded or loud outside the hotel.

Unfortunately the staff is why I would not recommend this hotel. The staff is short and overworked - and it shows. They acted annoyed (and complained to us about how tired they were) whenever we asked them to drive us somewhere and charged us 25 euros no matter the distance. They were also careless and provided the wrong directions when we asked how to get to other parts of the island. Additionally, there was no one available to help us at check out and it was stressful.

If you are comfortable with the island and can minimize staff interactions, then this is a good place to stay.

Perfect for rest and relaxation! So many different ways to lounge: by the pool, in a hammock or couch overlooking the sea, on your private terrace, oh... and in your beautifully appointed room. Stay for a while and forget about the rat race for a few days. :-)

One day in Santorini

Got a little hipcups upon check in with the online description of the hotel \"balcony with seaview\" & the actual room assign. We are given a room at ground floor with a \"balcony\" view of the hotel entrance instead. It took awhile to clarify the discrepancy between Hotel.com & the property. To resolved the issue so we can moved on to explored the island since we only stayed for a night we accepted the offer of free breakfast the next day. The breakfast selection was very disappointing and not worth the value. Hotel location from Fira bus station about 400m walking distance & not easy to locate the hotel but overall hotel staff were friendly & helpful.

Slight out of main centre so quiet but easy 10-minute walk to bus depot, cafe and restaurants, cable car etc. Mini market and rental quad bikes and scooters 2 minutes away. Nice swimming pool and great breakfasts.

Good day!
My husband and myself had a wonderful stay in Santorini. We celebrated our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. George was extremely helpful and made us feel at home. When we got there, he set up an ATV for us to use and also upgraded us to a nice villa with a jacuzzi room. He also gave us a map with all the main attractions. Most importantly we felt at home because he made us feel like a local with all his amazing suggestions.

I would recommend this place to stay since it’s clean, close to town and has friendly staff.

We came here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved our stay with Evgenia! Everyone was so wonderful and helpful! Marcos and Chris were so amazing!! They helped us get a great ATV and the best seats at a couple dinner places all over town! We were only at this hotel for 2 days because they were all booked up so we stayed in Oia for the remainder of our trip but Chris still helped us get a table at Mezzo even tho we weren’t staying there anymore! They went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a short walk or ATV ride from the town of Fira. The pool was very small but perfect for cooling off! Our sunrise view in the morning was pretty unreal beautiful!

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was close by to the city, attractions and restaurants (walking distance from Fira). Room was comfortable (good bed) and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. We are from Canada and I recommend this hotel to anybody that is looking for a nice stay on the Santorini island.

Fantastic hotel and very helpful staff

We stayed there for three days. The hotel is very close to downtown Fira. George,the manager, has been so helpful and nice. It seems like he can do anything, such as making a reservation for us at a popular restaurant, booking seats for sunset cruise and so on. The hotel room is very clean and comfortable. It has a tiny \"balcony\" where we can enjoy the breeze. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Nice villa with nice view

We had a room on the second floor with an ocean view and it was beautiful! We were able to sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise. Chris was our host and he was really helpful by providing us with a map of places to go and restaurants to eat at which also have nice views. We were 20 mins walking distance from the bus stop and about 15 mins walking distance from the main square which had all the restaurants and stores. Clean washroom, clean room and there was a small swimming pool with a bar area where breakfast was served for an extra charge in the mornings.

We loved our stay at this beautiful quiet hotel, just a short walk from the centre of town. Christos at reception was an absolute delight and went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony with ocean views. Overall an amazing stay and I would definitely stay again!

The location is good and easily within reach of the town centre (approximately 5-10 mins walking) where the big bus stop is. The airport is about a 10 minutes' drive away and the hotel staff can arrange this transfer.

The room had a balcony with sea view and it was very clean and had a safe. The hotel management is absolutely lovely and made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was good and included Greek pastries and buns.

I stayed with my friend (not a couple) and found the bathroom/toilet door to be inconvenient as it does not fully close and lock (it's a swing door) and had frosted glass effect. This means no privacy!

It would also have been useful to have a full length mirror somewhere in the room and for the safe to be operated via passcode and not a lock and key.

Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.
