My 3-night stay here was not enjoyable - the entire hotel room smelled like urine (room 102). When I was first shown into the room, the room smelled extremely strongly of some fragrance, so I didn't notice the urine smell. After the fragrance smell wore off later in the day, I began noticing the urine smell coming from the bathroom. I'm positive that the hotel staff is aware of the urine smell, but still choose to rent out this room and try to cover up the smell with strong fragrances. The smell is very strong and you are able to smell it from over the entire room. In hindsight, I should have asked for a different room, but I do not enjoy packing back up and unpacking again. I would not recommend this hotel and would never stay here again.

Excellent hotel at a cheap price with everything you need, including a pool, and 10 min walk from the main spot in Fira. Hotel manager came to pick me up at the airport for 25€, which is standard for Santorini, and made everything smooth for my check in. Only downside of this hotel is that its on a busy street, so quite a lot of noise caused by cars, scooters and atvs.

It’s about 10 mins walk from the centre of town, but has a convenience store and cheap restaurant close by. Convenient shuttle service from and to ferry port.

Property is older but it fit our party of 4. Two single beds next to the bathroom and a small table. Upstairs is a queen bed for a couple. The room was clean everyday and we were provided clean towels daily. There is a small swimming pool we used after a long day of walking in the hot summer days in Santorini. Petros and the rest of the staff were very helpful. Even the nice lady that lived next door helped us call the hotel so we can check in after a long day in the ferry. Transfer from the hotel to the port is Euro 30 for 4 people. Location is great - walking distance from the Santorini square.

This hotel should be more than 2 stars!!! it was wonderful. I loved the view, the pool, the hostess Mr. Stravos. Beutifull little apartments, I forgot the BALCONY my very FAVORITE. We walk to the bus station, there are lots of restaurantes near, groceries. The walk is not far. 1.80 Euro to take the bus to the beach and very nice bus. Thank you Mr. Stravos!

This hotel was an easy walk to the tourist area of Fira on Santorini. We spent time in Fira and also were able to easily take a bus to Ia to see the beautiful places there. The hotel was handy and we used the shuttle to get to the Ferry when we left. It was lovely.

This is a family owned hotel, the owner and his family were very welcoming and make my wife and myself feel like family, we were treated very well and courteous. This hotel is located close to everything just a 10 minute walk from the town center and you can take a bust to others areas from the island just a 20 minute ride on the public bus.

Excellent place! Suite was clean and spacious with sunrise views and a small shared pool for cooling down (we used it both days we stayed here and had it all to ourselves). Close to Fira centre. A bit hot on the top floor even with air conditioning.

Bed was comfortable, shower water was hot with sufficient pressure, and there were power sockets at each side of the queen bed. Staff were really hospitable as well. Good location in between Fira station and Firostefani station (10-15min walk away from both) which is pretty convenient. Highly recommend!

Stay in this hotel for a week in Santorini - Fira town. Easy access to all over the places by thier local bus or you can rent thecATV or scooter. Just about 6 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel to the Fira town.

It's in a nice location so that you can go for a walk everyday to the town centre and away from the noise. Across the road to a renting moto company so it gives you that option. The roof is great to get a nice tan. The staff are so lovely and speak perfect English. The room is constantly spotless thanks to the cleaner.

Not very far from Fira centre (tiring walk if you are on the last end of your tour of Greece. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes)
There are 2 ways to get to Fira from this hotel. One is the pebbled walkway (winds around the residential area/hotel properties) Be careful of donkey poops though :) I usually just take the main road to Fira because it is easier to walk on although slightly uphill. But when I go back to the hotel, I take the pebbled way because it's just walking downhill. Except at night, I suggest the main road but be careful of the fast vehicles.
If you want a pedestrian/motorcycles walkway, the pebbled walkway is your choice, but it is scary at night because it's not brightly lit. Most houses have dogs in their front porch, but gated. If barking dogs scare you, then avoid.
The hotel I am saying is a family run business. So reception does not run 24 hours. The condition of the room are standard clean and comfortable. Everything was working well.

Wonderfully friendly family run hotel
The kindest famiy runs this hotel. We had wonderful conversations with them, were given homemade wine on two occasions, driven to the port when we were going to miss our boat and picked up from the airport. It's about half a mile uphill to get to the main section of Fira.

the owner and clean are nice and polite . room is clean , tidy and even have a balcony . However , the killing part is the location of the hotel being the front of the road that made it so noisy . strongly recommend if you go stay here , please prepare yourself earplugs before it . if you could accept the noise , the hotel is a good deal considering the location .

Nice Little Greek Family Hotel
Our two favorite things about this hotel are that they faithfully picked us up and returned us to the airport at the end of our stay for free, and they are within walking distance--although down a very busy road--of downtown Fiera with its places to eat and shop. We loved the Greek ambience and the balcony with a little table and chairs, but the street was so busy and loud that we had to close the shutters and turn on the air-conditioner in order to sleep. No breakfast is included, but a little shop close by offered plenty of grab and go options; and the room provided all the amenities needed--even a hair blower and room safe. We could even see the ocean from our balcony!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The wifi is great and it is only 10 mins from Fira bus station. The swimming pool is small and cute. The family running it are nice and gave us complementary pick up and drop to the airport.

What an amazing hotel!!! What sets this hotel apart from all the others is the warm and thoughtful service you'll receive. For the price, this is the best hotel you can get! It's a little bit of a walk to the main bus station, especially if you have luggage, but if you're just walking, it's only about 10 minutes away to all the access and action of Fira! Petros took really good care of us, even though we only stayed one night. He was kind enough to give us a ride to the bus stop so we can catch the bus to the Ferry Port, but as soon as he saw that the line was very long and the bus was running late, he went out of his way to drive us all the way to the port. He really didn't have to, and he could have left us to fend for ourselves, but he was so kind and caring. I will definitely be staying here again!

Really nice, clean hotel with friendly staff who picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at the ferry port for free. I stayed in a large double room with balcony overlooking the sea. Beautiful sunrise! Nice bathroom, air con, TV, fridge and a 7 to 10 minute walk into town, very well lit at night and easy to get home to. A very nice clean pool and deck chairs Too. highly recommended!

The hotel is about a 10-15 min walk into town, which is quite easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful; they kindly picked us up from the port when our ferry arrived, and dropped us off at the airport when we were leaving. The room was a bit dated, but comfortable, clean and very spacious. The pool is nice and even has some spa jets. Our room had a lovely view of the east side of the island - perfect for watching the sunrise!

Kirios Stavros, the owner, takes great pride in providing excellent service to make your stay truly memorable. The room was very clean and spacious and the hotel immaculate condition. Loved having the pool, although, small, perfect for a quick cool-off. Santorini is a tourist haven so we welcomed his great recommendations for off-the-beaten path to experience local cuisine and beaches. We rented an ATV from his friend at a great price and explored the island tip to tip which was breathtaking. Fira/Thira is a hopping town centrally located but it does not have a beach so you must have transportation. An ATV is perfect. It seems to be the primary mode of transportation on the island and allows you to see it all. When we go back to Santorini we will definitely stay here again. Efcharisto Kirie Stavro!

One night stay before a 3am ferry and we were lucky enough to receive a lift to the port. The pool was deserted during our stay we felt very special like it was our private pool. The only disadvantage was that the hotel is located on a busy road, however little noise with the windows closed.

Absolutely wonderful. The room was two stories tall and gave us plenty of space. The owner and his son who run the hotel were great. They picked us up from the airport and drove us to the ferry dock well after we had checked out. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Just talking and drinking wine with the owner was really enlightening and made us feel welcomed while visiting Santorini. This is for sure the place you want to stay.

It's a Hotel managed by one family. Everything was good. They picked up from the port and took us to the airport when we left. Very nice room. We rent a car with their recommendation. The advices about what we can visit agree our expectation by his son (Patros)were excellent, be careful with the information of the father (for he all is easy, near, simple, etc).

With balcony (the view of Egeo was good but not total because other construction not allow to see 180°). There is one small market to buy food 200m. We felt very comfortable at this hotel. My partner and I decided that we wanted to travel around the Greek Islands for a month, we stayed in Fira for 4 nights of our trip. We tried to keep accommodation costs low, but still to have important amenities like a fridge and our own bathroom/shower. We found the staff/family at Anemomilos very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean when we arrived. The breakfasts are well worth it with plenty of fresh bread, fresh honey, orange juice, and excellent coffee. We found the location as far as Fira goes to be quite good, it was about a 5 minute walk to the main bus station which was handy, but not right in town so was quiet. We had a driver pick us up and drop us off from the ferry terminal which was also very handy and at no extra cost. Staying here was a real treat. Would recommend to anyone.

The location is next to the main road, a bit noisy when open the window. Need to walk 15 minutes to the city centre which is more suitable for young travellers. Wifi service can only be used outside the room. The transfer service to Airport/Ferry is good. The room rate is reasonable.

Hotel is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the very centre of Fira, excellent location. The pool is more than adequate and the rooms excellent for the price. The family who run the hotel are so friendly and inviting. I would recommend this hotel for families as the family rooms are excellent with outside area for dinning, for single travellers, maybe not romantic enough for couples but for those who wish for an excellent place, great value for money, this is it. They even pick you up and drop you off.

A piece of advice to fellow travellers who intend to stay here - please contact the hotel in advance for a complimentary pick-up from the bus station, airport and port. My sister and I made a mistake for not doing so as we thought we could easily find our way to the hotel from the bus station (coming from Oia) based on information we found from the Internet (which turned out to be an incorrect piece of info). After failing to find our way, we contacted the hotel and a friendly man (might be the owner) turned up at the bus station and greeted us with a big smile and started chatting with us. When we arrived at the hotel, we were served with some home-made wine and I had to say that at that point I was quite embarrassed for being a bit impatient over the phone. :-p Thus, i really had to compliment them for their impeccable service!

Long Review: Stavros and Anna are very friendly, and will pick you up from the airport, which is good because the map location on the website is wrong and you won't find it otherwise. It's next to the Folklore Museum, 5 - 10 minutes walk from central Thira, the bus station and the cable car, so not a problem. Rooms very comfortable, with aircon, shower, fridge, tv, hairdryer, but no kettle!. Good views across the sea to Anafi, and a good breakfast. Free Wifi, but signal very variable. They will help with information, bookings, and any problems.They will also take you to the airport for the return flight, and look after your luggage if it's a late flight. We had a great time, many thanks.

We wanted inexpensive accommodations with a convenient location, and this place was fabulous! They picked us up at the airport at 6:00 am, and even took us to the port which was a considerable distance. The innkeeper and his wife could not have been nicer! Our budget room was actually on two levels one with a couch; very large space, balcony, and a fridge The bed was upstairs. Also, English was spoken which was helpful for us since we are too stupid to speak any Greek!
Easy walk to town if you look for shortcuts the cars can't take. There is one near Annas Market. We rented an ATV for the day for 20 euros, and found it a short drive to Oia. A bit hair raising, but only 25 minutes from town.

Was shifted from suites to villas which is a further walk to the centre of Fira (about 15 minutes). Very small pool, basic breakfast, switched to eating in the town after one breakfast. Was picked up and dropped off at the ferry dock even at 1:00 AM.

Very nice place to stay for visiting Santorini. It is facing the unpopular side of the sea. So the view is not that great. But it locates only 5 min walking to Fira downtown and bus station. Though it is only a basic-quality hotel, the room is very clean and the hotel staff is very friendly and hard working. The hotel owner nicely picked me and my wife up mid-night from the ferry port and gave us a ride to airport early in the morning. Highly recommended to folks with limited budget.

The staff was great and they pick you up from the ferry. The internet doesn't work in the rooms and the linens aren't very soft.
The price is good though. I would recommend this place to folks who are renting a car or are in a group. The late night walk from thira is only eight minutes but it's hard for drivers on the roads to see you in the dark and there is no sidewalk.

Everything was fine until the last day when the female staff (maybe owner) rang us around 10am asking when we were leaving, whether we would leave our bags, what time we would come back to get the bags bla bla... We found that very rude since the check-out time is noon. We didn't even plan anything yet. We felt like they wanted us to leave early! In the end we left the room at 11am. When we went to reception to check out, nobody was there. There was a lady (she can't speak English at all) she wouldn't let us leave. When we said we would come back, she just said no no! There was also another couple waiting. In the end, the female owner rang and said we could go. We had to wait for over an hour for nothing!! Not professional at all!! The guy who picked us up from the airport was nice though. There are many nicer hotels in Santorini. This one is quite far from centre too.

The heater wasn't working and when we called the manager Anna, yelled and said she was too busy at the other hotel to worry about the heater. No soap or hair dryers in the room. The towels were dried outside so they felt like sand paper against your skin.

Our room was spotlessly clean, towels and bedding changed regularly. Ensuite bathroom and shower. WIFI worked well and was free. It is not far from the Airport but staff operate a free transfer service. Staff were welcoming, polite, efficient and friendly. The hotel is on the other side of the island from the 'caldera' which is the famous view everyone talks about, but it is no less perfect because of this. We had a lovely view of the coastline from our balcony. There is a small pool and decked area . I have only given it 4 for room comfort simply because the website said 'tea and coffee making facilities', however on arrival this wasn't so. I went down to reception and asked Anna is it was possible for us to have a kettle and she happily provided this along with 2 mugs and spoons so it wasn't really a problem, but the provision of a tea tray would have been welcome. It is a short walk into town, but not far at all - ten mins max and another five if you carry on to the main bus station. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Would highly recommend.

This is a small but cozy little place....the hosts are nice and warm and the Best part they give you transfers from the port if u r arriving by ferry, situated close to the main square in fira...u have lots of options to go anywhere, the owners make their own wine and raki do try it.....in all great experience!!!!!

The owner picked me up at the airport and gave lots of information regarding the area on the way to the hotel. At the check in I was offered some local wine made from the owners grapes. The room, though very simple, was clean and had a great view over looking the island and ocean down the hill. In the morning the breakfast was terrific and served right to my room. For the price you can't find a better place to stay.

We were met at the port by Stavros the owner of the hotel and he drove us to the hotel. Our room was on an upper level with a balcony and good views, also a pool nearby our room. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk to the town centre.

We found the room fine, if a little unusual as the bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. Everything was neat and clean so we were satisfied with the accommodations. The breakfast was fine and the location pretty convenient to Thira. Included with the room was pick up at the ferry dock and delivery of us and our luggage to the airport. Our host was very cordial and helped us arrange a day tour of the island and even took us into the town to the pick up point.
