Excellent place, great location & spotlessly clean. It's not a luxury place, but you're not paying luxury prices. Our family room had a double upstairs on a mezzanine type floor & 2 single beds downstairs, plus a very handy little kitchenette with fridge, kettle, sink, cutlery cups etc. enough to make your own drinks & a bit of breakfast/lunch. Excellent Bathroom too. The room was serviced every day with clean towels. The ladies were always out sweeping, mopping & brushing the outside areas. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional! Ilias the manager looked after us offering lots of helpful info (bus timetable, walking routes, booking trips, etc) it was great being able to contact him by WhatsApp. If you want a nice little oasis to stay then this is it. We wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend to others. We had a fabulous stay here with absolutely no complaints, far from it - only high praise. Just book it, sure you won't regret it.

Relatively closed to Firastefani rather than Fira but walkable around 15 min. Area of Santorini is hilly and get ready to hike in surrounding neighborhoods. I love the complex or compound of Esri Village that feels homey and clean with swimming pool in the middle. Closed to public parking spot that I rent a car to enjoy the island.

A haven of calm

A haven of calm in the busy surroundings of Firostefani and the cliff walk along the beautiful caldera. Lovely, welcoming staff; very comfortable rooms; free coffee and tea in the mornings; nice relaxing area around the pool. Highly recommended and we will return again!

Great budget hotel and helpful staff. It is away from the main bustle of Fira. It is about a 10-minute uphill walk from Fira. My room had a great view of the sea. Ilias was really helpful in getting me checked in (flexible) and tips on what to do around Santorini.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Ersi Villas. The rooms were really clean and cleaned everyday. The staff Ilias and Miltos were always approachable when needing assistance. It is located on the quieter side of Fira. The only thing is the walk to the town, just expect to walk around 15-20mins, otherwise close to the hotel you have a mini market and a few restaurants. Would definitely visit this property in the future. Thank you for making our short stay memorable.

Great choice for a relaxing stay

We had a very relaxing stay at Ersi Villas. Location is close to the action in Fira - our particular room on the ground floor did not have a caldera view, but we did not expect this and it was pleasantly quiet. Room interior was functional but clean. We found it was the pool and garden courtyard areas that set this place apart - we enjoyed taking our breakfast here, making use of the free coffee station. The manager, Elias, also went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time on the island - we booked a half-day volcano cruise through him and found this to be great value.

It was very calm & cosy place. We’re family and share a room together, just a thing was bit inconvenience the bathroom. There isn’t fan to ventilate and a open shower booth to split water when we’re having shower, and it was too small. Except the bathroom, we had a really great time at this villa. I enjoyed a lot!

Ersi Villas was a nice place to enjoy Santorini. The host was very welcoming and gave us advice on things to do and see during our stay.

The room itself was clean and nice. It was cleaned every day and felt comfortable to be in. We didn't try the pool, but it was a nice setting to enjoy the view over the island.

It is located just outside the main town with an easy stroll (5 mins) to the central strip. It is very close to the neighbouring town for perfect views of the sunset (not need to go to Oia).

Good place and would recommend.

Lovely stay within walking distance to town.

We stayed at Ersi Villa for 3 nights. Service was top notch, Elias was extremely helpful in every way. He gave us a briefing of the island upon arrival, and helped plan our trip daily giving us directions to attractions and helped us with our bookings.

Clean hotel but on a very severe hillside.

The location is difficult. It is a good distance from the nearest beach, it is on a hillside that is 1:4 ratio! If you’re not average fit you will find it a challenge to walk the short distance up to the main road passage. The hotel felt cramped with a small pool and very little outside gathering space.
Breakfast was good with home made cakes and the manager was extremely helpful.

Nice little hotel close to the main town

Ersi is a very nice little hotel. They have a nice pool and the rooms are simple but clean and well equipped. The staff is super nice :) the only thing that I would like to see is a vending mashine for beverages and breakfast with less sweets (majority of it was sweet cakes, very little cheese or eggs)

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Elias was such an accommodatong host and he went above and beyond for us! 5 star host!

The villa was an amazing place to stay. Colourful flowers and the pool great you as you enter and find your way to your recently renovated room. And the Villa itself is situated a very short walk from Firostefani and Fira/Thira which, in our opinion, we enjoyed visiting and exploring more than Ia.

HOT TIP: Its very hard to find a place in Ia to dine and watch the sunset but Thira has so many more affordable resteraunts on the cliffface that offer a spectacular view of the sunset.

We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived, even though it was late in the evening.
The room was clean and cosy. It was kept clean with cleaned towels everyday.
The hotel has free Wi-Fi and a small swimming pool.
It took us 15 minutes to walk to Fira and there are restaurants and mini markets near the hotel.
Our flight back was in the evening. We were able to leave our luggage and use the hotel facilities until our flight time.
I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic holiday oasis in Santorini

What a wonderful place to stay. Elias picked us up from the bus station, saving us a walk with our bags.

The Ersi Villas are a green oasis, in the middle of the otherwise harsh concrete building environment of Santorini, lovingly maintained by the family team.

Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with all the usual modern conveniences. Breakfast each day was delightful - fruit, cereal, pastries, sweet cakes, toast, etc, etc., all served in a wonderful courtyard setting adjacent to the pool.

Ersi Villas are a short walk to Fira shopping area and buses, and to the Firostefani sunset viewing areas. Also easy access to the walking path to Oia.

If I am fortunate enough to return to Santorini I will definitely be staying with Elias at Ersi Villas.

Gorgeous, friendly hotel in perfect location.

Santorini is stunning & hotel is in a perfect location to see the Island. Nearby Firostefani is pretty and has breathtaking views. It has a few shops and restaurants and the Capital Fira is only a 10 mins walk from the hotel. Beaches are also worth a visit and can easily be reached by bus. The buses are frequent and cheap.

Ersi Villa is located close to Fira town (15 min walk), but not so close that it's noisy. It is about 2 min walk to Firostefani, where you can find many good restaurants. Elias was very helpful in many ways: he offered us pickup service from the bus terminal (and back), he arranged our car rental which was conveniently located next door so we didn't have to go far, and he gave us recommendations to many good restaurants. Tip: try Aktaion in Firostefani, it's really good!

The room was cleaned daily, with a change of fresh towels.

OMG!!!! This place is incredible!!! I wasn't expecting a kitchen kind of area with a hot plate, a water kettle and dishes. Breakfast was decent with all different kinds of coffee-from instant to fresh brewed. The pool is lovely and refreshing. There is a drying line outside your room door. The rooms are sound-proofed and the shower has really good pressure. The location is a nice 10-15 minute stroll to Fira so it's a quiet neighborhood. Hands down, I will stay here again. And the WIFI is good!

Lovely basic accommodation. Clean with lovely staff who will go above and beyond to help you. Gardens are beautiful and the location extremely convenient. The only downside I have is there is no bar or food offered throughout the day (other than breakfast) but there is a fridge in the room for you to grab your own.

Pretty, quiet hotel with terrace in ideal location

Ersi Villas is a great place to stay if you want to combine a convenient, central location with somewhere just far enough off the main thoroughfares to be quiet and calm. There is a free municipal car park a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel, where we were able to leave our hire car each night. You have to be prepared to walk down a few steps to get to the hotel, but this goes for anywhere on Santorini! As for the hotel itself, the rooms are clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. There's a beautiful shared terrace with lots of potted plants, a small, clean pool, a few sun loungers, chairs, tables and umbrellas. This is a nice place to unwind with a drink in the late afternoon when it's too hot to be out and about, though sadly there's an ugly unfinished concrete structure overlooking it. On our arrival, late in the evening, we were given a warm welcome and a primer on the best places to eat and to visit by our host, Ilias, who also handed us a cold bottle of water to tide us over. Throughout our stay, he was on hand to answer any questions we might have. One of the nicest surprises was the cheesecake which appeared in our fridge one day, made by Ilias' mother; it was delicious! Our room was great, including a modern en suite shower, kitchenette and plenty of storage space, including a safe. There was a rack outside on which to dry towels and swimwear, which was useful. The room was cleaned pretty thoroughly every day, and fresh towels and bed linen were provided.

Best hotel in Santorini

I stayed here last week and let me tell you, this was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel staff were WONDERFUL. They told us different activities that we should do around the island. We had to catch our flight back to Athens at 5am. The hotel staff were at our door at 4:55am to help us carry our bags to the taxi. The hotel was extremely clean and only a 10 minute walk to Fira. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is great, close to Fira (Thira) and Ferostefani, so We could enjoy all services. The only downfall was the matress of the bed that we found very hard. Best hotel in Santorini

This was one of my favorite hotels I've ever been too. The staff here were amazing! When we arrived the hotel owner gave us a free water bottle. He then gave us a map of the island and took the time to explain the island to us in detail, giving us his recommendations for the best things to do. We asked him about information about the volcano tour on the island and he gladly went and got us tickets for it free of charge. When we checked out he let us store our baggage in his office until our late ferry that day also free of charge. And to top it all off he even drove us to the bus station in Fira so that we could catch a bus to the ferry. The pool was also beautiful with a nice view of the ocean. The breakfast was also great with home cooked pastries. Next time we come to Santorini we will definitely stay here again.

Hotel Stay at ERSI Villas in Firostefani

Perched in a little slope - as most of Santorini villas. From the bus station, was picked and taken to the Villa. Elias assisted with hauling luggage and got us settled in our room. Room was good, very clean. High water pressure and good aircondition. (Only odd thing noticed, was the safe. it was bolted sideways and a bit hard to get to keep stuff.
Enjoyed the very clean swimming pool.

Pictures posted in the site are as they are when you get there. The place is run by Elias and his Mom. Very helpful and did not have any sales pressures or anything but rather, was asking how we plan to go around (tours vs bus) Elias helped us get oriented by providing the map and routes to take to and from hotel. Lent us socket adapters and wine bottle opener and wine glasses.

Did not try the breakfast though (surcharge) - which starts at 8:00. We prefer to leave early am to catch early public bus to go places.

It is about 8 minutes walk to the center of town - a bit hilly walk but otherwise ok.

Will recommend and if I get back to Santorini, I will likely stay here again!

this hotel is 10min walk from Fira's downtown area. the hotel is clean, breakfast is good. the rooms are good size. the bathroom area is a little small, there is a small kitchen area.
my only complain would be the bed, the bed was not that compfortable, would make alot of noise.
the owner is very helpfull, very nice family. overall everything was great.
maybe the owner should invest in some new beds.

Well maintained apartment complex in pretty garden

We loved location of villa which was walking distance into town centre where there was excellent cheap & reliable bus service which allowed us to explore most of the island. Also, just short walk across road led to amazing views of caldera and restaurants. The only negative side was the noisy traffic and steep steps in & out of complex.

Walking distance to the town of Fera. We manage to walk down and up the \"donky trail\" first thing in morning. The food in town very good and the price was reasonable. Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel as well for a $5.00 per person per meal.

We had a really nice stay here for 4 nights. The staff, especially the main guy, were very friendly and helpful. The beds were a little too firm for our liking but you get used to it. It would be good to have tea/coffee making facilities. The grounds were lovely and well kept and the room was big and spacious and clean. Overall we had a great stay.

Local feel, wonderful stay

Ersi Villas is conveniently located steps away from the Firastefani center and a short walk from Fira, where you can use the local bus to get anywhere on the island. The owners of Ersi Villas are so helpful and kind. As soon as I arrived they sat me down with a map and made suggestions for things to see on the island. There are many places to stay in Santorini but for the price I can't imagine having any accommodations better than this!

Nice little place with great owners

Stayed here for a few nights as a side trip while on business in Crete. Family run hotel with nice sized rooms. Clean, but small bathrooms, which is something I've come to expect in Europe, especially in a 3 star hotel in the Greek islands. Small refrigerator and kitchenette in the rooms. Wifi worked well and bed was comfortable The family that runs this hotel will do everything in their power to try to accommodate any requests you have. A short walk to the main town center of Fira. One thing I would recommend is rather than taking the main road into Fira, try the pedestrian path which is just above the blue church up the hill. The views are absolutely spectacular and no worries about getting hit by a motor vehicle :)

Good Location and good value for money

Lovely hotel grounds very well maintained and a lovely pool. The hotel owners were friendly and we appreciated the complimentary airport transfers. The location of the hotel in Firostefani is great, no more that a brisk five minute walk into the heart of Fira however getting to the main road from the hotel was a bit of an ordeal with very steep uneven steps surrounded by abandoned construction sites. The view from our room was pleasant with the south coast of the island and the sea visible in the distance. The room was basic but spacious, tiled floor with an alcove at the rear of the room where a table with chairs and the fridge were located. A built in wardrobe had ample hanging space but there was a distinct lack of draw space or shelving. A safe is provided in the room which is always welcome. The room also had small console/dressing table and chair and a good size mirror. The twin beds were very hard and although that's not unusual for Greece perhaps the mattresses are now nearing the end of their life it took a while to get used to the beds. The bathroom was incredibly small and very basic, the shower cubicle was the smallest I've ever seen and it was quite difficult getting in and out of it! I would say the bathroom was the most disappointing aspect of the room. The room was serviced daily, towels replaced and beds made - but not very well made! Overall for the money we paid it was worth it just a few minor niggles

Charming hotel

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Ersi Villas, and we loved it! Location is great, with Firostefani a few steps away, and Fira about a 10 minute walk. The bus also stops right by the hotel, so getting from one part of the island to the other is simple. Staff was very helpful, giving us tips on what to do and how to get around. Also loved the free airport transfers - our flight arrived so early in the morning and they picked us up right on time, even getting us in a room by 7am! Property is well kept and clean, with gorgeous views of the water. Breakfast has everything you could want. We stayed in a 2 story studio, which was very spacious and clean. The ONLY negative was that the beds are really hard, however, we encountered this problem in every hotel we stayed at in Greece. Overall, lovely hotel. We would definitely stay again.

Great value for money

We stayed here 3 nights and were very happy with our stay. The villas are not luxurious so if you are looking for luxury - this is not the place. The location is great - just 2 mins walk from the Firostefani bus station. Elias and his mother run this establishment very professionally ! There's free shuttle service to/from airport and Elias was there on time and greeted us with hospitality ! We arrived at 6 am and even though check in was not till the evening, they managed to get us a room as soon as someone left - around 10 am. His mother even offered us free juice etc ! They provided us with bus schedules and maps etc to help us get around. I really enjoyed my stay here !

Fantastic little villas

Best litlle place for the money. The owner was so friendly, she made breakfast every morning. The place was well maintained. The pool was sun warmed, so it was cool, but refreshing. Beauiful plants throughout villas. Hotel villas were within walking distrance of all the restaurants and shops.

Ersi Villas are very clean and tidy.
The hosts are very warm, friendly and go out of their way to please.
Beds/matteresses are quite hard and it is difficult to get an uninterupted sleep.
Location OK for young folk, but a bit of a challenge for seniors.

Friendly welcome and great value at Ersi Villas

This family run villa is well located within easy walking distance of Fira and very close to great views of the caldera. It has sea views and a nice pool. The apartments are comfortable and the grounds very attractive. Breakfast is available and is also great value. The family really make you feel very welcome and also offer complimentary transfers from the airport. I thoroughly enjoyed my four days there.

Fantastic to say the least!

Amazing Experience. The caretakers are simply amazing - Elias and his mother were the most loving hosts ever - not only did they pick us up super early from the airport, but also gave complimetary free drinks and a place to crash for a couple of hours before our official time to check-in. Extremely helpful and generous. They add the special Greek touch, and me along with my girlfriend had a splendid break. Go and experience it for yourself!

Great place to stay.

This small hotel was run by a friendly family who bent over backwards to be helpful, picking us up from the bus station in Fira and giving directions and information about best places/beaches to visit. Breakfast was attractively presented and although simple there was variety and it was plentiful. The hotel setting was attractive and rooms were comfortable, had privacy and were quiet. Each room had it's own patio area with table and chairs or there were loungers by the small pool.
A short walk took you to the town of Fira or Firastefani from where you could take the beautiful coastal walk to Fira. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.

need some work to refresh the rooms

The localisation, close to Fira, attracted us. After 2 min walking you can get an amazing view on the caldeira. The hotel looks nice (like on the pictures, even if some extension works are started but seem stopped. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool.

However, we appreciated a bit less the room : we booked a room for two but there were 4 beds packed into the room which make it a bit hard to move around. The air conditioning didn't work and the window opened on a noisy street... But the more annoying was the bathroom : there was an electric plug IN the shower (!!), the curtain was too small so we made a flooding in the room, and we could see some mold around the window and in the furniture.
We booked really late maybe it's why we got this room...

Great stay

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ersi Villas.
We just had a standard double room and it was very spacious with everything we could possibly need (although the lady said we had the best room of the place!)
The pool was very clean and although quite small its really quiet so one day we spent the entire day by the pool!
Hotel is about a 10 minute slow walk into town really no big deal at all and im pretty lazy!
I wasn't a big fan of brekky just preferred popping up to the bakery to get a croissant however that is just me!

Would stay here again

The owner of the hotel arranged to pick us up from the bus station even though it was late indeed and arrived promptly and even took us back when we checked out.

Very quiet and comfortable. All the owners of the villa were helpful and imformative. Definitely a great place to visit and the hotel was in prime location with a swimming pool that was perfect to relax when attending the tours in the morning.

Cute Hotel!

Nice and quaint hotel. The owner lives right there. She is very nice and helpful. The hotel overlooks the ocean in a quiet area of Santorini, just a 10 minute walk to town. The only drawback is that it is on a steep hill.

Ficamos impressionado com a qualidade do hotel pelo custo benefício. Bem localizado- apenas 12 min andando do centro de Thira. A piscina bem limpa, o pátio bem bonito e perfeito para tirar boas fotos. Se você quer um lugar para relaxar e pagar um preço em conta, esse é o lugar. Não é super luxuoso mas é confortável e aconchegante!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et on nous avons eu de bons conseils pour visiter l'île de Santorin
L'hôtel est bien situé loin de l'agitation et est très bien entretenu
Il y a du café a disposition chaque matin
Nous y étions en octobre et la piscine était a 18 degrés un peu frais pour nous mais bien agréable pour se tremper les jambes après une bonne journée de marche
La chambre était confortable
La salle de bain un peu petite
