Amazing rooms with private balcony and prime sunset view every evening! There was a big pool as well, and location is fantastic in Firostefani. 15 min walk to Fira. Staff are excellent.
I will look at staying here for my next visit!

No staff to port your luggage, the electricity goes on & off some times.. so may be no coffee in the mornings, cant use hair dryer//straighteners.

The property charges €10 per person upon check in, that’s not mentioned in hotels.com’s prices so be aware when booking.

Apart from this stunning views of Caldera! If all of the above is acceptable then this is truly amazing Property to stay.

Hands down one of the prime locations on the caldera with amazing views of the sea and caldera hillside. The staff are engaging and helpful. I spent a lot of time outdoors in the pool and on my balcony. Once I walked onto my balcony for my morning tea, staff brought my breakfast for me to eat as I admired the breathtaking views.

My room was pristine - no frills, but lovely Kitchener with full refrigerator/freezer and the bathroom had a very open feel with rootless stand up shower and oversized sink, sufficient for soaking clothes, if needed.

Both the window and door to the room are glass, which allow for breathtaking views of the caldera and sea even when indoors. I often kept my hinged windows open during the cool mornings to enjoy the breeze.

Located literally at the Firostefani city center, this location is prime for activity bus drop off/pick ups, as well as walking into Fira for daytime adventures and nightlife fun!!!

I happened to be in Santorini during a couple games of the 2026 World Cup of Soccer and enjoyed the electricity in the air pouring from every corridor, especially those showing the games.

Kafieris Blue is also on the Fira to Oia trail, and I am happy to say I walked a portion of the trail to neighboring Imergovili. You can't beat the sunset views from the Fira to Oia trail, and proximity to activity, while still feeling quiet and private.

I expect to stay at Kafieris Blue whenever I return. Maria and her team run day to day beautifully!

Have the best view from your room and balcony . The same beautiful view all day and during sunsets that you can experience from nearby restaurants that will charge you a premium fee to eat there . If you want to save money you can buy food from the bakery or restaurant nearby and bring them to the hotel and enjoy the great view .
Shower don’t have a door so you have water spatters outside ,although there is a small towel for the floor , have to be careful coming of the shower .Front desk was helpful but she was a little bit confused abut our reservation. We were scheduled to check out Sunday at 12: 00 pm ( noon time ) but she thought we were staying over since we were checking out at 4 am same day to the airport and tried to charge us more money for the extension. I have to explain to her and show her our reservation twice. There is a tiny mini mart nearby you can purchase your necessities. Overall a great place , just be mindful that there are plenty of stairs going up and down the property.It is walking distance to the famous 3 Bells of Fira , about 15-20 minute walk to Fira Center

This was a beautiful hotel! The staff were very helpful when we needed to confirm pick up times for tours we had planned. They even made the phone calls for us. Our one disappointment was that the hot tub was not in service during our stay, but the pool was beautiful and the view was just incredible! One of the descriptions said that it was just a 10 minute walk from the Fira bus stop. It was more of a 20 minute walk to Firostefani- probably because we took the more scenic walk right along the caldera. It was tough dragging our luggage along the cobblestones and up stairs. We should have taken a cab. We later discovered a shortcut that was more direct and not nearly as many stairs. We did make several trips on foot from Firostefani to Fira and back during our stay. The hike from Fira to Oia is an absolute must!!

Clearly one of our favorite stays. A very nice couple and their staff will take care of your every need from, pick up, transport, breakfast. The rooms are nice and spacious. The outside pool and patio is a game changer especially with the Santorini sun. I highly recommended and would definitely come back.

Very Good experience, just make sure with the front office with the room you are getting and your expectations. I did not get the room I booked at first which was shown in the picture when booked, but the property manager helped getting 2 rooms for the same price and for next day provided the same room which was expected and helped for transportation and carrying the luggage. Luggage guy Hasan was very helpful as well. To be honest, at first I felt I got trapped but by 3rd day with my stay’s extension I felt I did a right thing staying here. Very kids friendly. Great location with ice cream shop right outside and other good food options. Sunset view. Very convenient location since parking for your rental car opposite to firostifeni parking. Left happy with the choice made to stay. Front office also helped with arranging transfer from airport at reasonable price and also helped contact for rental car at good price.3 mins walk to 3 bells of Fira.

Best week in Greece!

We stayed here for our first time in Greece, arrived at midnight to the airport. The hotel owners arranged with us to get picked up which helped a lot & also for any excursion we had booked they drove for a great price! Our week stay was amazing! They were very attentive & sweet. Made us feel like part of the family. Views from our balcony were beautiful, great sunsets!They kept our room tidy every day. Would recommend this hotel!

The most amazing place to stay! Paradise!!

Kafieris Blue is such an incredible place to stay in Santorini! Right in the middle of everything so not too far to walk, yet the loation of the hotel is so quiet and peaceful - away from the hussle and bussle. All the staff there are so friendly! We were greeted by a hotel transfer bus at the sea port, and all our bags were carried to our room for us by an amazing man who helped us out our whole trip. We were greeted in our room by the absolutely lovely owner (Mrs Kafieri) and she went out of her way to make us comfortable and make sure we were having n amazing time!! She even organised for us to get our breakfast early on the day we had to leave so we wouldn't miss out as we had an early flight. She even organised the van again to take us to the airport. The views here are magical and the hotel is so clean and beautiful! Our room had its own personal balcony that we could just sit and watch the gorgeous caldera and volcano views for days! It is so close to the most amazing restaurants and the pool area was great for swimming around looking at the scenery. Breakfast each morning was abundant and fresh and honestly we didnt want to leave. We can't wait to visit santorini again and we will definitely be staying here again!! Thanks so much for an incredible stay!!

You arrive as a guest and after some day you leave as the member of the family. The owner of the Hotel is Eleuftheria a fantastic lady, who is waiting every guest with open heart and a perfect accommodation. The Hotel is on a very quit place, with a beautiful view of the caldera, but close enough to shops, restaurants and even Fira, which is about 10 minutes walk from the Hotel. I can not thanks enough to Eleuftheria and her staff all the kind hospitality we got during our 10 nights holiday. They fulfill all the wishes of the guest of the Hotel. Cleaning is every day, the room is very comfortable, clean and you can not wish more for this rate. I hope to return there very soon. I offer everybody who want to spend some quite days in the \" Paradise \". :-)

Trip Didn't End On Great Note

Gorgeous view. Never gets old! Hotel recently went through some upgrades. Air conditioning was non-existent. House keeping didn't do a great job. They left sheets on the bed for us to make ourselves. Breakfast was the same everyday - didn't have options.
They insisted that we pay extra money to do late check out by a couple of hours even though we were already paying premium for a hotel that should have cost half the price. When we went back to the hotel to get our suitcases at the end of the day, the reception told us that they took our belongings off property without our consent to convenience a staff member (which included important travel documents) and this forced us to go to airport in our beachwear and bathing suits and change in a very unsanitary airport bathroom. Really disappointed in how the staff adapated to personal situations.

The best hotel in santorini!

We stay in kafieris for 1 week and we absulutly loved it, the staff and recaption was amazing, they gave us more then we need, we feel'd like home, like a family.
Every room has a balcony with an amazing view to the volcano and the caldera and you can eat brakefest on the balcony it is great.
If you going for santorini this is the hotel for you, we was a copple but it is also great for famaily and more.
The area is the best, 10 minuts to fira and a lot of good resturants and shops

Overpriced hotel but location is good

There are a lot of steps (approx 80) on a steep gradient to get to the hotel, so we would have to minimise our trips back and forth to the centre which was a disadvantage in such heat. It meant we would need to be out for most of the day. The views are breathtaking but I'm sure you can get this from other hotels in the area too. The rooms are average, nothing special, bathroom was nice, Wifi does not work!

Breakfast is simple (bread and ham) but the cleaning and serving staff are very helpful and friendly.

The owners are nonchalant and appear oblivious.

I would not stay there again, I'd try other hotels in the area. We paid $750 per night and it wasn't worth it.

Great Caldera Views! Great Caldera Views ! Great Caldera Views! Good family run hotel in a very good area with great views of Caldera. The swimming pool is one of the best in the whole area. Each apartment has a balcony and you can watch sunset from there overlooking caldera. Breakfast is average. Overall the stay was good. Kids loved it.

WORST Hotel I've ever stayed in

Sometimes you read bad reviews of hotels and think that won't happen to me. I read the reviews of this hotel and thought the same thing. Until it happened to me and my friends.
In my entire life, I've never felt so disrespected and mistreated at a hotel. That's the bottom line. The wifi not working at all, the breakfast being unsatisfactory, our air conditioning not working, our room being damp, our bathroom flooding, our phones receiving no service or wifi in our room, and our door breaking were all minor concerns compared to how rudely and unprofessionally the two women who run this hotel behaved.
I stayed in their 6 person studio (aka a cave with no windows) with 5 friends. We were only here for 2 nights thankfully. When we calmly and patiently tried to explain our concerns with the hotel, we were berated, belittled, and blamed for their errors. Their response to the wifi not working was to claim that our phones didn't work. And their solution was for us to buy new phones. And because we are all young, they claimed that wifi is \"God\" to us and that we don't know how to live without it. The absurdity of their claims aside, I've never encountered such a belligerent version of hospitality. Not once did they take responsibility for the hotel.
If you want to be disappointed and then belittled, stay here! The only thing guaranteed is their lack of service.

- not overcrowded (quite)
- terrific places to sit and lounge
- large fridge in room
Cons
- tv doesn't work (poor reception)
- A/C doesn't work (used a fan)
- terrible shower (drain in middle of washroom as water literally flies all over the place with no door), Caution!... slippery floor!
- useless breakfast as its literally burnt tasting coffee, bread and if your lucky you'll get some cheese and ham and that's it. We started having breakfast elsewhere as we could not take it anymore.
- hot tub is cold and doesn't work properly and staff have no idea how to make it hot (it's always 32 degrees), cold!
- despite being advertised as such, believe me... the wifi does NOT work in the rooms so you WILL have to go outside to use it. Don't believe anything else. Very frustrating and annoying.

Overall rating is 2.5 out of 5.

it was very unpleasant from the beginning.in your website, it stated that it can fit up to 6 people, but when we checked in on June 3, 2015 at around 4PM, the receptionist made a fuzz about how many people stayed and we got charged for extra EUR300. We asked for receipt but she said it will be given when we checked out on the 5th. When we left early on the 5th, the reception desk was still closed.

Nice location with great view but have shortcoming

The hotel is very convenient located close to the public parking and bus station of Firostefani. The view is excellent. All rooms are suite with table and chairs outside. The best rooms are located at the top. The pool is ok which is also the place for breakfast. The jacuzzi is a joke because the water is not warmed. In general the rooms are clean but we found some ants and small spiders. You can cook simple thing in the kitchen. The worst would be the bathroom as there is no tub and the shower area only surround by curtain. So the floor will be wet for sure. Beware of the breakfast, there is no buffet and you cannot choose. Of the 3 days we stay, we have almost the same breakfast menu: Eng, sausage, ham with orange juice, coffee, bread with butter & jam and fresh orange or apple. The most ridiculous thing is they have only 1 person serve all the breakfast. She is old and she needs to carry all the stuff in a holder to your table. So you can imagine you need to wait for a while before your breakfast arrive. Some other guesst end up bought other food to make their own breakfast in the rooms. Also, wifi is bad within the room. The signal is strong in public area and close to the door. When we close the door and window, wifi signal became very weak.

Fantastic Location and Views.

I was a little disappointed with our room as I had requested a non-smoking room and the couple who had shared our room before were very heavy smokers... We arrived early in the morning and our room wasn't ready but I had already paid for the night so this was disappointing also... these were the only negative experiences - otherwise I would highly recommend Kafieris Blue Apartments.

Vue sublime et service extrêmement accueillant

Notre séjour s'est divinement bien passé, la vue de la terrasse est divine et l'emplacement parfait: relativement à l'écart de Fira et de ses hordes de touristes tout en étant accessible à pied. La chambre était vraiment bien et la literie très confortable.
