The property has an amazing view of the caldera. We arrived early and had breakfast at the villa right away, thanks! The villa had a picturesque view of caldera. The staffs are very nice and accommodating. Our hotel room was conveniently located by the pool. And the bar tender was very nice. They arranged our transportation pick up and return to the airport. The location was very convenient and walkable to the shopping areas and few meters away from the restaurants. We had an amazing time watching the cruise ships and the gorgeous sunset. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay and explore Santorini. Great buffet breakfast each morning included. Provided for a reasonable fee transport from ship arrival to airport flight onward on our trip. Very friendly, helpful staff. Tremendous view from room and just steps from walking path that takes you to countless shops and restaurants.

Great location. Hotel staff is very friendly and always there to help. On our arrival the person at reception Yarris explained how we can cover different things at island which was really helpful. Hotel staff also arranged rental car for us and rental car pick up and drop off was from hotel itself, which was really convenient. I loved my stay there. Would definitely recommend staying there.

The staff was amazing! So informative and kind! Anytime we needed anything they were so willing to help, going over and beyond! The facility was cleaned daily and was very accommodating. The location was AMAZING, a great view and right on the hiking trail and road to everything! It was right outside of thira so it was quiet and a short walk to everything. I would stay here again in a heart beat!! If you’re looking for a great place to stay, look no further, this stay was amazing!!

Strategic location. (Can catch sunrise and sunset. Fira is around 10-15 mins stroll from the Villa. Firostefani is within the walking trail to Oia. Firostefani bus stop is 2 mins walk down the road). Great room (Bijou, clean and well natural light lit, has got a safe box, cutlery as well as corkscrew bottle opener, wine glasses etc) Staffs (receptionist, cleaners, cooks all very friendly, helpful, welcoming). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Villa to anyone… solo traveller, couples or family. The view of caldera from the pool deck is just awe-aspiring. Enjoying sunset view from here with a glass or two of Santo Wines was one of my highlights!

Well, fist the costumer service is great, always in touch, always taking care of what you need. Second, the view! That’s the place where to be! Amazing sunset from the pool or even you balcony room (if you have one) you will get the best pictures and don’t need to go out of the hotel. Third the room is ok, mine was on the pool level and I was satisfied. Also close to stores and restaurants. The classic blue doom picture is at 7 min walking. Ones again this is the place where to stay ;)

Incredible service and experience

We were blown away by the service that Christina and the rest of the staff provided us during our stay here. Every morning, Christina would sit down with us at breakfast and help us plan our day. We really felt like she was able to help us make the most of our three days on the island. The hotel is also very beautiful! The view from the pool deck is one of the best on the island and we were able to sit there and enjoy the sunset every night while we enjoyed a drink from the pool bar. 100% would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Simon and I loved our stay. Christina and George (the Bar man) were lovely in particular and made us feel like family. They both went to a lot of effort to help us when we needed it and their level of giving was way over and above what we ever expected. All the staff were fantastic from the cleaning ladies to Costas making coffee. The views were better than I imagined and our pool view room while basic, had everything we needed. We will definitely come back here again.

I had the best time here. The staff at this boutique hotel is very warm and caring. They have a wonderful breakfast spread, with everything homemade and delicious. The hotel is nicely located half way between Thera and Imerovigli, comfortable walking distance to both. The view of the caldera from the pool deck is great. The little patio outside the room also has a view, if not as expansive. The staff is amazing, friendly and reliable, very professional. Breakfast is very tasty and diverse. There is also a special treat every morning, always a pleasant surprise. There was a bit more noise at night than I expected, apparently from the air conditioning unit on the roof of the building next door, which is level with hotel entrance. But the bed was deep enough in the room so that it was not a problem, even with the window open. I would definitely come back, if I have a chance.

Very nice hotel, location and well connected.

Hotel is very near to the bus station, in santorini all the places are well connected by public buses. Hotel has a very nice view ( the postcard picture can be taken from here 😊). Also going to other places( Kamari,Oia, Perissa, Fira centre and other touristy places) is easily accessible with a public bus.

Staff is very helpful and informative. Would recommend to stay here - no need to give a second thought. Worth the money.

Let me start by saying i travel often. I'm from the U.S. but i have been to numerous countries in Europe and this hotel has BY FAR been the most AMAZING hotel i have stayed in. I went to santorini with my mom for the first time this summer and I cant brag about this hotel enough. Let me explain why:

The view!!!!!- Our room opened up right to the pool deck and had the most amazing view of the village, water and pool. I wanted a hotel that had the view just like the movie sisterhood of the traveling pants and this was the perfect choice. when i was researching ( which i do A LOT of) it was hard to find a hotel with this view, in the area i wanted with a good price. This hotel has it all and is very reasonable.

The location: This hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from Fira. it is very easy to get to. the village the hotel is in (Firosteani) is also a nice village and has an amazing windmill bar and restaurant right down the road. This is a great location. The perks of this hotel is you also arent deep into a village down 100 steps to get to. there is a parking lot so you can park your atv or car and also get the amazing view.

The staff: Mary, konstantinos, George, and the bartender at the pool were all AMAZINGGGGG. They were all just so nice. any questions you had they answered everything and are always happy. breakfast is amazing every morning and comes with a special.

I could say so much more but expedia wont let me type more. STAY HERE!!!

Overall an excellent stay, all the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our visit as enjoyable as possible. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty with plenty of choice available to suit all. Room was clean and tidy and in spite of our \"efforts\" the daily attention of Helena ensured it stayed that way! George, the pool barman, was most attentive and friendly and we already miss his chats; it mattered not that we had no more than one drink a day (as opposed to many of the younger people staying who kept him far more busy!) he was always generous with his time and the \"extras\" he offered.

Perfect location

Delicious breakfast, lovely room with caldera and ocean view, great swimming pool, the water might be a little cold for some, but with the Santorini heat is actually nicer to be a little cool. It can get pretty noisy outside, but closing the windows and turning the mini split on (AC) you can barely hear the noise from the outside. The beds and pillows were very hard, but we still had a good night sleep. Very small bathroom shower/tub, but again the location and everything else makes up for it, although we are pretty small, maybe bigger people might find the size of the bathroom an issue. Location is perfect, the taxi stops right in front of the hotel which in Santorini is a great plus!! On despite of the minor inconveniences like the bathroom and the hard beds i would definitively stay at Villa Illias again, in fact i would'n stay in any other place.

Great Caldera Rim hotel

We had an amazing stay at Villa Ilias, it is in a perfect location on the caldera rim to see the sunset. Sitting by the pool with a drink enjoying the quiet and seeing the sun sink slowly behind a far off island with a blaze of colour, we went to Ohia to see the sunset from there but the crowds and the pushing and shoving were terrible and it’s off season. The hotel staff Mary and the Georges were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. We had a small pool level room which was fine for the two of us. Firostefani was a good location, close enough to Fira to walk there but a quieter place. If you come by ferry book the transfer ride with them it’s cheaper

Breathtaking view from any common space of the hotel. As good a view you would get from any Fira/Oia hotel, and this has better value. Hotel is right on the famous walking path, and the main road. Staff was very welcoming and ever-smiling. We had a Caldera View Studio; you get the view thru the big door window; bathroom is big. Breakfast was expansive with both continental and greek fare. If you're driving, locating the entrance to reception/carpark is a bit tricky; use gps coordinates 36.4273362,25.4284045.

Great hotel on the caldera

This was such a wonderful find, all I had wished for, and more... the owners are hands on, and it shows. Very concerned that their guests feel at home. Super location. I literally stepped out the door and onto the caldera. It is among the most beautiful parts of the caldera, and also very quiet. The nightlife of Fira is only 15 minutes away.

I would highly recommend villas Ilias.

The hotel's view fantastic. The staffs go above and beyond to make feel at home. The rooms, like most Santorini, small but it can be handled. Close to Fira, actually walking distance and if you are renting a car the parking garage is in the hotel no extra charge.

A spectacular spot with such lovely staff, great breakfasts and very nicely located.
The facilities are great, although was a bit cool for us to swim now, but we were still able to enjoy the sunshine, bar and awesome view. The hotel organised our car hire for the day with no problems or excess fees and although the car had been well used, it got us around just fine and had been cleaned before delivery.
I can absolutely recommend this hotel and all their staff. We stayed 8 nights & wish it could have been longer.
