We had an amazing time and loved our suite. We think the view and location are the best on the island. Staff was awesome. Also breakfast served each morning was wonderful. They accommodate day plans and help with anything you need on the island. Beds comfortable and 2 bedroom was good for a family of 4. Would 100% stay there again!

Our stay in May was absolutely wonderful. We were first greeted by Giorgio who was extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay. He made sure we all felt at home and gave us great tips about where to eat and visit. Our hotel overlooked the Caldera and was beautiful we were glad to stay in the quieter part of town compared to Oia and Fira, which we appreciated. Oia was extremely busy. It was about a 15 minute walk to Fira, and Oia we drove down but you could walk to it in about 2 hours. The room was beautiful and had great character.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel.

Our stay at Ikastikies Suites was absolute heaven. From the view to the apartment to the top notch service, everything was more than we dreamed. Giogos was the best host we’ve had in all our travels. Breakfast was incredible. His recommendations were fantastic including the catamaran tour (please do this, you will not be disappointed). It felt like we were leaving a friend when we said goodbye. We would definitely return if we are lucky enough to visit Santorini again.

An a very rare find. I was skeptical for 10 starts review, but after our stay, would give 20! This is one of the smallest hotels, with 4-5 rooms, very quiet, with a million dollar views. A service was incredible, from a transfer back/forth to the airport, a daily coordination for breakfast delivery into the room, pristin accommodations, and views.....

The staff and owner was incredibly nice and helpful with changes in any of our plans, making sure we were comfortable and helped us with our bags while we were enjoying a few more hours on the island after checkout.

This property was a perfect choice for us! The view from the balcony was just stunning looking over the Caldera and could see the small isle of Therassa straight ahead with the beautiful sunset going down behind it without needing to go elsewhere! It was convenient for restaurants and activity without being overwhelmed with an excess of people which you can choose to do if you like in the next village of Fira just a 20 minute walk away. Our small pool was bigger than a plunge pool and private for us and the other two suites closeby. George was a most dutiful host ensuring all our needs were catered for and signposted us to places of interest and advice.Breakfast was brought to us freshly made when we were ready for it. Would definitely recommend!

This is a very charming family owned hotel located in Firostefani. It's about 15 minute walking distance to nearby towns Fira and Imerovigli centers. The hotel was clean, our room was spacious, as described on the website, and had all the basic amenities needed. There was a beautiful view of the sunset from the hotel terrace, and our balcony which we enjoyed very much. The highlight of our stay was the hotel owner, George. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend staying there!

I cannot say enough about this hotel - and we have had stays in several upscale hotels. Nothing can compare to the views from our suite. And the sunset! You can watch it from the spacious patio wine in hand. The patio is very spacious with a small plunge pool and ample seating options. The Suite is spacious and well laid out. Large bathrooms too! We had the two bedroom suite.

The owner was so kind and he felt like an old friend by the time we left. The breakfast is so good - we have been back well over two months and i still miss the delicacies they served.

Everything was above and beyond. I just cannot put this experience into words effectively enough.

A beautiful property, so well kept and run so well. We stayed for 5 nights and hated to leave! Beautiful caldera views but not on a path where people walked by all day. The breakfast was incredible, walking distance to so many restaurants. The staff could not have been kinder and more helpful. Only 4 rooms, all with beautiful views. The pool was great to cool off in after a day of walking around town in the heat. Just a lovely place!!

Words cannot begin to describe the way my wife and I felt staying here. The people made us feel special, better than family. The breakfast was incredible. Deliver each day when you wanted it and how you wanted it. It was special. The rooms were extremely clean and the views breathtaking. Sunrise or Sunset we felt we were always in paradise. Special thanks to George and his staff whom helped us with cancelations of excursions, special meals and transfers. If you really want something special please call direct and ask for George and inquire about the Cave House. For my wife’s birthday and our 42nd anniversary the Cave House was a Hallmark event. This was truly the stop of a lifetime and made our trip. Thank you George!

Where to start, the property is situated in an ideal location, not far from Fira but far enough for a good night sleep. From the check-in to the check-out, the customer service provided by the staff is amazing. George is an amazing host, he greets you when arriving to the hotel and makes sure throughout your stay that nothing is missing. If I could, I rate Ikastikies 10-stars.
The property is small, and boutique-like, with elegant rooms and furnishings. Amenities are top-notch, and the view is absolutely incredible.

All of this would be enough for a 5-star rating, but when you factor in George, the owner, you wind up with a 10-star stay.

Others have noted George's energy and kindness, and he exceeded any and all expectations. Did he make us feel like family? Absolutely - I can't explain how much George elevated our entire visit to Santorini.

If more people were like George, the world would be a better place - and that's not an exaggeration.

This was quite possibly one of the best places I have stayed in the world. We stayed in a cave room with private pool, the room was huge, comfortable and the pool with view was amazing. George is hands down the best hotel owner ever. He was so attentive, gracious, courteous and a pleasure. My kids loved going to tell him we were ready for our en-suite breakfast each morning.
We will definitely be returning to Ikastikeis Suites soon, and I can’t recommend this place enough!!

We are a couple that stayed in Ikastikies Suites for 4 days during October.
The suites were just perfect, starting from the great location (to my opinion- the best location in the island). The suites are close to excellent restaurants and the view from the room - just breathtaking.
The pictures on the website reflect very well the real condition of the suites: the level of cleanliness is perfect.
The breakfast is rich, fresh and delicious.
Last and most important: The hosts. They were the best we could have dreamed of. They were very worm, helpful & added joy to the atmosphere... We enjoyed very much to stay in “Ikastikies suites” and we definitely plan to come back again.

Our stay at Ikastikies was truly special. The hotel is small with only three rooms plus a larger apartment. It is located right at the centre of Firostefani. We stayed at the Ostria room. This has a private balcony above the room. You can enjoy an unobstructed sunset from up there. The hotel felt very private. We were served delicious breakfast to the room every morning. The owner, Giorgios, was super friendly and helpful. This was customer service at another level. You can’t go wrong with this place. Be prepared to walk some stairs but that goes for most of Santorini.

My family and I selected this hotel because we had read good reviews about it. Indeed it was the right choice! Great service was extended to us even before our holiday started - Giorgos was very helpful in providing information that we needed to do our planning. He also followed up and attended to our transportation needs prior to our arrival and departure. He was patient in addressing all our questions. Hotel has beautiful caldera and sea view. Location is great - within walking distance from Fira town and the bus terminal (I would recommend renting a car though as it is easy to drive around). As we celebrated our child's birthday as well as wedding anniversary during our stay in Santorini, it was a pleasant surprise to find a bouquet of flowers and special breakfast prepared for us on the day of my child's birthday. Albert was also a great help with our heavy luggage and early morning check out when we left. Thank you Giorgos and team for making our stay truly enjoyable and memorable! We hope to be back some day in the future, and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

My family and I (spouse and 2 6 year old girls) stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with a private pool in October and loved it. The views were exceptional and the rooms are very well appointed. The terrace and pool area are also very relaxing and it was so nice to wake up to breakfast every morning on your terrace. The service was outstanding and we have stayed as some of the best resorts in the world. While it is a small hotel, it felt like we were at a Four Seasons resort in terms of the service. For breakfast one day my daughter wanted pancakes (and the breakfast spread was exceptional in terms of qualify and selection) they immediately made them for her and brought them every morning. The location is also excellent as it is a short walk to the major town without the hustle and bustle of the big town. I would highly recommend this place and will be back for sure.

I’m overwhelmed with this property, location is 10 out of 10, I walked around Santorini and been telling my friend and sons that we picked the perfect hotel, aside from its perfect location, the staff Albert and his wife are very very kind, they give you the assistance that you need immediately. They are Very hospitable and polite. The owner also introduced himself and made sure that we will enjoy our stay. We definitely did! We have this very fancy breakfast and offered us drinks which is very nice. I also booked for two adults when it is total of four of us, I didn’t mind paying for the extra two since it was a mistake, but the owner didn’t charge me for extra two. That was very nice of him, the hotel is private, has four amazing designed rooms, kitchen complete so in case you need coffee or brought food with you, there is kitchen utensils to use, pool is right outside your door, where you can actually swim. Its very peaceful, quiet, private, views are amazing! You get a cheap price for what you get in this hotel. I have no complains, I’m very very happy, worth every penny. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I come back. Recommending this hotel to everyone who’s planning a trip to Santorini. I’m very critic person and I don’t find myself complimenting as much. But for this hotel, I will mAke exception. To get to some rooms you have to go down as much as 87 steps, not for everyone but again amazing views, and all worth it! Pools not kid friendly. Staff is amazing- nice and helpful. A beautiful stay in Santorini

We had a wonderful stay at Ikastikies Suites. I would highly recommend staying here. The beautiful cave suites are very comfortable and very clean. Each morning a very lovely, freshly made breakfast is brought to your suite, consisting of eggs, fresh pastries, juice, coffee, cheese, meat and fruit. Much more than you can eat. Albert was the star. He will go out of his way to make your stay more pleasant, starting with carrying your luggage down to your suite, bringing your breakfast down to your suite, whenever you are ready for breakfast, and to helping you with your plans during your stay. He was wonderful! I would highly recommend staying here!
As well, I should mention the location is great! It is steps away from the main square in Firostefani, and is a short walk down to the main town of Fira.

The breakfast was delicious and delivered to your room each morning at the time of your choice. The views from the balcony were amazing! We will definitely be back and will recommend this to friends and family without hesitation.

Best hotel experience in Greece

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the views are breathtaking and most importantly, the staff and management are the friendliest, most helpful and pleasant group I have ever seen at a hotel. I will definitely come back.

Best service ever!!!!!!!

we travel very often and stay in all sorts of hotels varying in price. I must say this was our very best stay. the service here was beyond impeccable. we couldnt possibly be more happy with our stay here. from the room, the cleanliness, the location, the views, the service. if I could i would give this place 6 stars. I sent a message about taking my baby and i just wanted to know if i could purchase almond milk there, since my toddler cant drink cow milk. They went above an beyond and had a carton of almond milk for us in our room for when we arrived. Thank you for making our stay so unbelievably memorable. we were just so happy the entire time here.
