The photos for the property were very deceiving. We got a room with the hot tub on our balcony ( the plung pool is not chilled). We were thinking we were right on the cliff but you are actually on a walkway and everyone walking by can see you. My kids didn’t even want to get in the water because of all the people. Also people walking by can see right into our room.

But we loved the food around the hotel.

I do not recommend this place.

Overall Amazing!

The hotel was in a great location. Just an easy walk to Fira’s main bus hub where you can easily get to all the major points of the island. The hotel is at the top so easy to get to by car and walking. Tania was awesome, helped us book a boat tour to the volcano and hot spring. Also getting a nice breakfast to start the day was a major plus.

The plunge pool/jacuzzi was great. You get to see the sunset in the comfort of the room. At first, I thought no privacy on the pool because it was by the street, but I think it was a great people watching experience. Breakfast service was deliver to your room and your preferred time. Tania the front receptionist was very helpful with great tips on where to go. There is an adorable dog in the property. You can walk to Fira 15 mins with great views. Parking is easy to find and walking distance to the property.

This hotel has a great little bed and breakfast feel with amazing views. We absolutely loved it! It was perfect for our family of 4. It is located within walking distance to Fira (capital and bus station) as well as Imerovigli. Their breakfast in the morning delivered directly to our room was a bonus. We could sip our morning coffee and take in the gorgeous views. Would definitely recommend. We stayed in the \"2 story apartment\" and my only word of caution would be that the spiral staircase could potentially be a hazard for elderly people.

We had an incredible stay at The Ellinon Boutique Hotel in Santorini! Tania was especially helpful — always quick to respond on WhatsApp and eager to answer any questions we had.

The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully kept. We were initially surprised that it was located on a walking street, but that quickly turned into a plus — it was peaceful, and the view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking.

The hot tub was a real treat, especially in the evenings when the air cooled down — the perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring. Breakfast was another highlight — both mornings featured different, delicious options, thoughtfully prepared and full of local flavor. We loved enjoying it out on the balcony with a coffee.

Compared to other parts of Santorini, this area felt much calmer and less crowded, which made the experience even more relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a boutique stay that balances comfort, beauty, and authentic Greek hospitality.

Loved our stay here for four days! The location was perfect! Just far enough away from busy cruise ship traffic but still not terribly far to walk to as well. Loved our location! They staff were amazing! All of them! Even brave 😄 the dog. Oh goodness Dora was such a sweetheart. The breakfast on the deck every morning was spectacular. Nothing will ever beat that view! Ever! Thanks for everything. Would for sure stay there again!

The hostesses were very helpful - arranging car transfers from and to the airport, confirming custom daily times for breakfast delivery to our room, booking sunset catamaran tour, recommending restaurants close the hotel. Since we were leaving too early for the airport on our last day, she even packed some food for us the night before. George was also very nice. Thank you!

Walkable location with beautiful views

We enjoyed our stay overall. It was nice to have breakfast on the patio each day and the staff was friendly. The room was not as clean as it could have been and there were signs of wear and tear/age. There is a nice tub on the patio but it never got hot so it was more of a warm tub. Our patio was also in full sight of everyone walking by, as well as both neighbors on either side and above us so there was no privacy. The location was perfect and very walkable.

This is an amazing place to stay in Santorini. We had a private balcony with a hot tub and the most gorgeous view I have ever seen. Our host Tonya was so wonderful and welcoming. This was the perfect location! We especially loved the greeting from the beautiful dog \"Brave\". Of course they asked if we were ok with dogs, prior to allowing him to interact with us. Upon arrival, our luggage was brought to our room for us. We were even allowed to check in very early as the room was available! The room safe uses a key, which we liked. A nice breakfast served to our room every day and they even accommodated my husband's gluten allergy! It was our honeymoon and they had the bed decorated with rose petals & towels folded into a swan. Beautiful room, perfect view and loved that the area is not crowded like Oia & Fira. Only a 10 min walk to Fira & 2 min walk to the large parking lot that had ample parking!

We loved our stay at Ellinon. It is away from the crowds but had nice restaurants and a few shops close by. The walking path was just outside our door. A healthy big breakfast was delivered to our door and kept us going all day. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone

This is an excellent boutique hotel. It is very close to many of the tourist spots. It has a great ocean view and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Having the hot tub and balcony area for eating was an added bonus.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The in-room breakfast each day was amazing.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were lovely and super helpful- but the room was very tired looking- all the walls and surfaces need a paint- the white paint was all grubby- the cushions on the bed and sofa all need a wash, and the sheets didn’t even cover the mattress. The duvet wasn’t in a cover either it was just between two sheets. There should be basic tea and coffee facilities in the room. We had to ask every day for towels for the hot tub despite obviously paying extra for a hot tub room. Just a few basic things would have made a big difference. For the money we paid I was very disappointed in the standard of the room.

We picked this spot for the patio whirlpool with the caldera view. I love the decor of the room and the staff was great helping us book a sailing trip. Also, Firostefani was a great base and far better tha Oia, which was choked with people and had lesser views. This is a comfortable family-owned hotel at a good price with a great location and view.

Really helpful & knowledgeable staff, with breakfast served to your room each day.
I had a duplex from which overlooked the caldera from both the bedroom window & outdoor terrace. The bedroom is on the upper floor while the living room & terrace on the bottom.
The hot tub was a welcome relief & added bonus after a busy day out. The AC unit is in the bedroom area & there's also a dehumidifier if required too.
The hotel is about 15 mins walk to Fira town centre & the bus station. And within minutes of walk of cafes, restaurants, convenience stores & parking.
Transfer from the port or airport is 25 euro.

Beautiful view and touched by the warmth and hospitality during our visit

We had a wonderful experience because the staff went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They help us arrange our activities and make restaurants reservation. We get a ocean front seat at a close by restaurant for a wonderful sun set experience. We asked the staff to print COVID-related documents for our travel and they are delightful and eager to help. The service is exceptional well. I wouldn’t have a such enjoyable experience of Santorini without them. Extremely accommodating to our flight time for check in and check out. Highly recommend!

Amazing views and amazing staff

We stayed in an upstairs unit, so the jacuzzi was in the bedroom instead of on the balcony like the lower level rooms. The views from the rooms on both levels are amazing though. The views were so great in fact that we did not feel the need to dine at one of the restaurants for the view which freed us up to explore more of the options in town. More than anything, the staff at the hotel is amazing. Irene at the front desk was able to arrange any transportation or tours that we asked for. I will absolutely stay here again when in Santorini.

Unique hotel with an excellent view of the sunset right in the center of everything. Staff was great. There was a misunderstanding because of the way it looks on hotels.com and we were under the assumption we had the outdoor Jacuzzi and the balcony, however it’s one or the other. As it turned out, we were glad we didn’t have the outdoor Jacuzzi and had the balcony with the in room Jacuzzi instead. Unfortunately, I didn’t use it until the night before we left and regretted that decision. There was a beautiful view out the window from the Jacuzzi. Breakfast was OK, but not like it is in the US. Would definitely stay there again. Only complaint is we only have one set of keys between the three of us. The other issue was the outlets, in odd locations and not very many of them. The one that I did use was loose and had to prop the dehumidifier up against the plug to get it to stay in. Otherwise great, if seeing the sunset is your goal, you can’t go wrong here!!

The hotel was clean but rooms are small and ceilings are low. If you are tall, there's every chance that you can bang up your head, especially in the bathroom and the jacuzzi area. My boyfriend had to sit on the toilet as the ceiling was slanted.
No one cleaned our room the first day of our stay. After that we got service every day and the room was sparkling clean.
They changed the water in the jacuzzi once and forgot to close it. At one o'clock in the morning it overflowed and went down the marble stairs. We had to call the reception to fix it.
Breakfast is basic. It consists of two boiled or fried eggs, some yoghurt, two apples, some bread, butter, jam and two croissants. They also gave us some juice from a cartoon box and weak filtered coffee. It looks like they don't have an espresso machine. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel either , only a small kitchen for the staff where they prepare your breakfast. They buy everything the previous day and bring it on a tray to your room the next morning. Only the eggs are freshly made. We had to ask for fresh milk as we were given UHT milk pots. Breakfast was late 15 min the first morning.
The receiption desk is open from 8am till 8 pm. After that there's a phone you can call in case of emergency. The guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful but lacked experience and training. The senior female receptionist - hotel manager had an attitude. When we were leaving she even didn't bother to ask us how our stay was

A complete joke. We booked this hotel for the stunning view, but if you don’t book a maisonette, you actually get the jacuzzi ... overlooking ... the street, and a parking lot. It’s beyond ridiculous and awkward as you sip wine ... next to bystanders and trucks. Unbelievable and the pictures are utterly misleading

The location of the hotel is a little bit away from the main buzz of Thira, and this is nice. The main path to the hotel was washed away by a land slide :| so we had to walk a ways around from the bus stop to get there.

On arrival it’s a very inviting building, and the receptionist was very nice. Our room was wonderful. The decorating was very well done and we immediately felt like we didn’t want to leave.

My only issue, and it’s actually a pretty big issue, is that I mainly got this room because it says “hot tub” in features. We do a lot of hiking, and having a place to soak after was important to us. This is a lie. There is a “hot tub” in the room but they never turn it up past room temperature. The reason being the room is not designed for moisture ventilation and a hot tub would steam the whole place out. They won’t even turn it up I’d you ask (I thought I’d just open all the windows and deal with it).

The comp breakfast is very pleasant, and was a highlight to our morning eating it on the cute balcony. Overall I would rate this hotel a 4.5/5 but the hot tub deception lowers it to a 3/5 for me. You will enjoy your stay here however.

Very comfortable reasonably priced small Hotel

This is another nice comfortable that we stayed (1 of 3) in Santorini,
i would rate it a 3* nice but not Luxury, bonus being on a level not very big,
but friendly, i personally wouldn't want to be on ground floor with bath, jets in full view of street
Ask for 1st or 2nd floor, free breakfast fetched to your room, balcony small but nice, we was in a 2 bed room
