Very clean and comfortable. The sunsets from the balconies/porches were amazing. The breakfast was delicious. If you are trying to decide what to book, the first floor rooms have outside hot tubs but a little less privacy. The 2nd floor rooms have great views but indoor hot tubs. Overall, a beautiful property with a very helpful property manager.

The owner and staff were so kind and helpful throughout our whole stay. They booked us transfers from the airport and to the port which made getting to and from the hotel so easy. The daily breakfast delivered to the room was delicious, and everything tasted fresh. The views from the balcony were spectacular and watching the sunset or eating breakfast with a view were some of the highlights of our stay. The room was clean and big with all the amenities that we needed. The location of the hotel is fantastic! It was nice and quiet, while still being close enough to walk to Fira or Imerovigli. Thank you for the fantastic stay!

The view from the room was absolutely gorgeous! The staff were very helpful and friendly. They bring breakfast to you in your room. The hotel is older, but thats also the charm. Its well kept and very clean. They offer to arrange transport and activities on the island. The hotel is in a great location right on the caldera, but close to the Square so its convenient.

Loved our stay at Elinon Thea. From start to finish Tania and staff took care of everything. Pick up at port, breakfast delivered to our room daily, restaurant suggestions, etc. The hotel is in a great location and so much more peaceful than staying in Fira. The jacuzzi was a welcome addition after walking the trail to Oui and back and forth from Fira. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I love this place to stay. Staffs were very kind and helpful. If you have a rent car, location will be perfect. It's 12min walk from Fira. Or can take a bus. Bus stop is very close.
2층 객실을 예약하면 아침엔 일출을 저녁엔 숙소 앞에서 일몰을 볼수 있어요. 핫텁은 실내에 있는것이 따뜻하고 좋았어요. 그 방이 욕실도 레노했고 좋아요.
뚜벅이라면 위치가 아쉽긴 해요. 피라 근처엔 오션뷰 호텔이 많지 않아서 여기 했는데, 모든 버스는 피라-이아, 피라-피로스테파니,피라-공항. 이런식이라서 피라를 모조건 가야 어딜 갈수가 있어요. 걷는게 괜찮으시다면 이 호텔을 강추해요.

The photos for the property were very deceiving. We got a room with the hot tub on our balcony ( the plung pool is not chilled). We were thinking we were right on the cliff but you are actually on a walkway and everyone walking by can see you. My kids didn’t even want to get in the water because of all the people. Also people walking by can see right into our room.

But we loved the food around the hotel.

I do not recommend this place.

Overall Amazing!

The hotel was in a great location. Just an easy walk to Fira’s main bus hub where you can easily get to all the major points of the island. The hotel is at the top so easy to get to by car and walking. Tania was awesome, helped us book a boat tour to the volcano and hot spring. Also getting a nice breakfast to start the day was a major plus.

The plunge pool/jacuzzi was great. You get to see the sunset in the comfort of the room. At first, I thought no privacy on the pool because it was by the street, but I think it was a great people watching experience. Breakfast service was deliver to your room and your preferred time. Tania the front receptionist was very helpful with great tips on where to go. There is an adorable dog in the property. You can walk to Fira 15 mins with great views. Parking is easy to find and walking distance to the property.

This hotel has a great little bed and breakfast feel with amazing views. We absolutely loved it! It was perfect for our family of 4. It is located within walking distance to Fira (capital and bus station) as well as Imerovigli. Their breakfast in the morning delivered directly to our room was a bonus. We could sip our morning coffee and take in the gorgeous views. Would definitely recommend. We stayed in the \"2 story apartment\" and my only word of caution would be that the spiral staircase could potentially be a hazard for elderly people.

We had an incredible stay at The Ellinon Boutique Hotel in Santorini! Tania was especially helpful — always quick to respond on WhatsApp and eager to answer any questions we had.

The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully kept. We were initially surprised that it was located on a walking street, but that quickly turned into a plus — it was peaceful, and the view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking.

The hot tub was a real treat, especially in the evenings when the air cooled down — the perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring. Breakfast was another highlight — both mornings featured different, delicious options, thoughtfully prepared and full of local flavor. We loved enjoying it out on the balcony with a coffee.

Compared to other parts of Santorini, this area felt much calmer and less crowded, which made the experience even more relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a boutique stay that balances comfort, beauty, and authentic Greek hospitality.

Loved our stay here for four days! The location was perfect! Just far enough away from busy cruise ship traffic but still not terribly far to walk to as well. Loved our location! They staff were amazing! All of them! Even brave 😄 the dog. Oh goodness Dora was such a sweetheart. The breakfast on the deck every morning was spectacular. Nothing will ever beat that view! Ever! The hostesses were very helpful - arranging car transfers from and to the airport, confirming custom daily times for breakfast delivery to our room, booking sunset catamaran tour, recommending restaurants close the hotel. Since we were leaving too early for the airport on our last day, she even packed some food for us the night before. George was also very nice. Thank you!

Walkable location with beautiful views

We enjoyed our stay overall. It was nice to have breakfast on the patio each day and the staff was friendly. The room was not as clean as it could have been and there were signs of wear and tear/age. There is a nice tub on the patio but it never got hot so it was more of a warm tub. Our patio was also in full sight of everyone walking by, as well as both neighbors on either side and above us so there was no privacy. The location was perfect and very walkable.

This is an amazing place to stay in Santorini. We had a private balcony with a hot tub and the most gorgeous view I have ever seen. Our host Tonya was so wonderful and welcoming. This was the perfect location! We especially loved the greeting from the beautiful dog \"Brave\". Of course they asked if we were ok with dogs, prior to allowing him to interact with us. Upon arrival, our luggage was brought to our room for us. We were even allowed to check in very early as the room was available! The room safe uses a key, which we liked. A nice breakfast served to our room every day and they even accommodated my husband's gluten allergy! It was our honeymoon and they had the bed decorated with rose petals & towels folded into a swan. Beautiful room, perfect view and loved that the area is not crowded like Oia & Fira. Only a 10 min walk to Fira & 2 min walk to the large parking lot that had ample parking!

This is an excellent boutique hotel. It is very close to many of the tourist spots. It has a great ocean view and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Having the hot tub and balcony area for eating was an added bonus.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The in-room breakfast each day was amazing.

The staff were lovely and super helpful- but the room was very tired looking- all the walls and surfaces need a paint- the white paint was all grubby- the cushions on the bed and sofa all need a wash, and the sheets didn’t even cover the mattress. The duvet wasn’t in a cover either it was just between two sheets. There should be basic tea and coffee facilities in the room. We had to ask every day for towels for the hot tub despite obviously paying extra for a hot tub room. Just a few basic things would have made a big difference. For the money we paid I was very disappointed in the standard of the room.

We picked this spot for the patio whirlpool with the caldera view. I love the decor of the room and the staff was great helping us book a sailing trip. Also, Firostefani was a great base and far better tha Oia, which was choked with people and had lesser views. This is a comfortable family-owned hotel at a good price with a great location and view.

Really helpful & knowledgeable staff, with breakfast served to your room each day.
I had a duplex from which overlooked the caldera from both the bedroom window & outdoor terrace. The bedroom is on the upper floor while the living room & terrace on the bottom.
The hot tub was a welcome relief & added bonus after a busy day out. The AC unit is in the bedroom area & there's also a dehumidifier if required too.
The hotel is about 15 mins walk to Fira town centre & the bus station. And within minutes of walk of cafes, restaurants, convenience stores & parking.
Transfer from the port or airport is 25 euro.

We had a wonderful experience because the staff went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They help us arrange our activities and make restaurants reservation. We get a ocean front seat at a close by restaurant for a wonderful sun set experience. We asked the staff to print COVID-related documents for our travel and they are delightful and eager to help. The service is exceptional well. I wouldn’t have a such enjoyable experience of Santorini without them. Extremely accommodating to our flight time for check in and check out. Highly recommend!

Amazing views and amazing staff

We stayed in an upstairs unit, so the jacuzzi was in the bedroom instead of on the balcony like the lower level rooms. The views from the rooms on both levels are amazing though. The views were so great in fact that we did not feel the need to dine at one of the restaurants for the view which freed us up to explore more of the options in town. More than anything, the staff at the hotel is amazing. Irene at the front desk was able to arrange any transportation or tours that we asked for. I will absolutely stay here again when in Santorini.

Unique hotel with an excellent view of the sunset right in the center of everything. Staff was great. There was a misunderstanding because of the way it looks on hotels.com and we were under the assumption we had the outdoor Jacuzzi and the balcony, however it’s one or the other. As it turned out, we were glad we didn’t have the outdoor Jacuzzi and had the balcony with the in room Jacuzzi instead. Unfortunately, I didn’t use it until the night before we left and regretted that decision. There was a beautiful view out the window from the Jacuzzi. Breakfast was OK, but not like it is in the US. Would definitely stay there again. Only complaint is we only have one set of keys between the three of us. The other issue was the outlets, in odd locations and not very many of them. The one that I did use was loose and had to prop the dehumidifier up against the plug to get it to stay in. Otherwise great, if seeing the sunset is your goal, you can’t go wrong here!!

The hotel was clean but rooms are small and ceilings are low. If you are tall, there's every chance that you can bang up your head, especially in the bathroom and the jacuzzi area. My boyfriend had to sit on the toilet as the ceiling was slanted.
No one cleaned our room the first day of our stay. After that we got service every day and the room was sparkling clean.
They changed the water in the jacuzzi once and forgot to close it. At one o'clock in the morning it overflowed and went down the marble stairs. We had to call the reception to fix it.
Breakfast is basic. It consists of two boiled or fried eggs, some yoghurt, two apples, some bread, butter, jam and two croissants. They also gave us some juice from a cartoon box and weak filtered coffee. It looks like they don't have an espresso machine. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel either , only a small kitchen for the staff where they prepare your breakfast. They buy everything the previous day and bring it on a tray to your room the next morning. Only the eggs are freshly made. We had to ask for fresh milk as we were given UHT milk pots. Breakfast was late 15 min the first morning.
The receiption desk is open from 8am till 8 pm. After that there's a phone you can call in case of emergency. The guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful but lacked experience and training. The senior female receptionist - hotel manager had an attitude. When we were leaving she even didn't bother to ask us how our stay was

A complete joke. We booked this hotel for the stunning view, but if you don’t book a maisonette, you actually get the jacuzzi ... overlooking ... the street, and a parking lot. It’s beyond ridiculous and awkward as you sip wine ... next to bystanders and trucks. Unbelievable and the pictures are utterly misleading

The location of the hotel is a little bit away from the main buzz of Thira, and this is nice. The main path to the hotel was washed away by a land slide :| so we had to walk a ways around from the bus stop to get there.

On arrival it’s a very inviting building, and the receptionist was very nice. Our room was wonderful. The decorating was very well done and we immediately felt like we didn’t want to leave.

My only issue, and it’s actually a pretty big issue, is that I mainly got this room because it says “hot tub” in features. We do a lot of hiking, and having a place to soak after was important to us. This is a lie. There is a “hot tub” in the room but they never turn it up past room temperature. The reason being the room is not designed for moisture ventilation and a hot tub would steam the whole place out. They won’t even turn it up I’d you ask (I thought I’d just open all the windows and deal with it).

The comp breakfast is very pleasant, and was a highlight to our morning eating it on the cute balcony. Overall I would rate this hotel a 4.5/5 but the hot tub deception lowers it to a 3/5 for me. You will enjoy your stay here however.

i would rate it a 3* nice but not Luxury, bonus being on a level not very big,
but friendly, i personally wouldn't want to be on ground floor with bath, jets in full view of street
Ask for 1st or 2nd floor, free breakfast fetched to your room, balcony small but nice, we was in a 2 bed room

The location was absolutely perfect (convenience, view), the rooms were clean, the daily in-room breakfast was awesome and the staff was absolutely amazing. Nia, and the other staff members, were extremely kind and helpful.

Short end of the stick

We had the room with the city/front of the hotel. For the price we paid I feel it was because of the location. Right in the town. The other rooms had better and closer view of the sea and islands. I feel this room shouldnt even be advertised with a partial sea view, as the sea view was on the other side of the island which seemed to be miles away. The room was small and clean. Breakfast was served on the balcony which wouldve been beautiful with any other room. The ladies were really nice and welcoming. Just make sure to get any other room than the only one facing the front.

Peaceful bliss

Very nice quite area but not so far to the main centre. Great liitle spa to cool off with amazing views. Great local breakfast. strongly recommended.

Beautiful location and good hotel

Great hotel in a beautiful part of Santorini with everything you need within walking distance. Slightly funky smell from the indoor hot tub.

A view of the caldera in Fierostefani.

My husband, son of teen years and I stayed for one night. We took the boat from Naxos early in the morning and was given the room at around 10:00 a.m. despite our early arrival. We were able to relax and take showers before embarking on a really hot day in Santorini. The hotel lobby, however, was very small and untidy. The decor was kinda tacky with fixtures in front of paintings (?). The extra bed for my son was just a cot and was uncomfortable for him. For the price we paid, it should have been better. Also, although the view was spectacular, they should indicate that the hot tub is right smack in the view of pedestrians walking. There isn't any way to dim the light bulb in the hot tub (a grumpy receptionist told us in a testy voice not to cover the lights) so that we were not on display for everyone to see.

Lovely room but watch your step.

Although hotel was very nice, breakfasts were lovely, super clean and nice staff, you have to scale marble stairs w/no handrail to get to the 2nd floor, then another flight in room. Bathroom and bedroom on different floors. Also the jacuzzi was never warm enough to enjoy in spring.

Worst experience ever. I would never recommend this hôtel. We were there celebrating our honeymoon. We hard to wait 30 minutes for the reception person to Come and answer us. The room had a view on the parking. The breakfast was awful. Worst hôtel of our beautiful trip.

Amazing views, rooms and staff! 10min walk to Fira

Ellinon is placed in Firostephanie, about a 15min walk (up and down hills) to Fira. The hotel was everything you could ask for from Santorini. The staff were extremely helpful (the front desk does close after 10, it didn't bother us but, I thought it was worth mentioning). The rooms are very clean and spacious. They deliver amazing breakfest to your room each morning, we ate ours on our balcony overlooking the caldera (amazing!). The jacuzzi is great if you have it on your balcony, we had ours in our room and we barely used it (I think my husband went in it once). The views are incredible all day and for the sunset. The restaurants around the hotel were great. Much more authentic good food than Fira (and better priced). We loved our stay in this hotel. The only part that we didn't like was the 15min walk to Fira. We would have liked to be closer to the main town. But, that is all preference. We went with friends who wanted a more quieter spot outside of the craziness of Fira but, me and my husband would have preffered to be closer. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Santorini!

Perfect location. Awesome views.

Stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was huge and take ally nice. Good rooms. The only issue was the jacuzzi on the upper level rooms. They are hard to get in and out off. Almost dangerously so. and the water was cold.

Amazing views

I spent 4 days 2 weeks ago in Santorini and in this hotel. I stayed with my mum and sister. The hotel looked really cleaned, they had different breakfast as a room service daily(something I was really impressed about) and the strongest advantage of it was its breath-taking view from our balcony. Overall, really satisfied from the hospitality and the ladies at the reception. The only thing I did not quite enjoyed was that we booked 3 beds room and once we were there we had a 1 double bed plus a small sofa bed which was really small and not that comfortable. BUT, apart from that really good impressions and I would recommended it.

We had a great stay at the Ellinon Thea hotel. It is nicely situated close to Thira, so we were able to walk wherever we needed to.

Awesome hotel

Perfect hotel with perfect location. The facility is very nice and clean, the view from the balacony is awesome, staff are very helpful and polite, they are always there to help you. I really enjoyed my stay there and one day i will come back again.

Beautiful hotel in a prime location.

Perfectly situated at the highest point of the caldera in Firastefani, this hotel is the ideal distance from the quiter side of the city and a 10 min walk from all-night night clubs. We were served breakfast every day, personally, on our balcony. And the pool/hot tub was a nice addition. Some reviews complain there isn't a proper pool, but let me assure you--NO ONE in Santorini spends time at their hotel pool. They also recommended the BEST ATV rental in town--I know because I tried others, and they were the best (Santorini Motors). Pleasant staff, nice location, would definitely stay again.

Priceless view of the sunset

We were told by friends to go to Oia for the sunset. Our room had the most beautiful view of the sunset. Better than going to Oia. Short walk to Fira to take cable car to the Palio Limani, where you can go for different excursions.
