Quiet and unobstructed views of the caldera

This boutique hotel sits on and below the path from Fira to Oia. Pool water was too cold, but nice to view.

There is no elevator and you have an 8 minute walk from the street. The bellman will meet you if your driver calls ahead. (We used Santorini’s Best Driver).

Outstanding location, very quiet and walkable to excellent dining and shopping options and walkable to Fira center. We stayed here last week of August 2024, front desk staff was fantastic, so helpful and attentive. Staff helped us book restaurants and activities. The caldera view rooms are really worth it. You get cool morning sun and sunsets are spectacular, fun to watch the cruise ship come and go. Was hot, but doable, the walk from fira to oia hot but lovely, fantastic trip.

If you are going to Santorini there is no better place to stay. Perfect location - walk to Thira but away from the crowds. Sunset is from your balcony. Service from Chris, Marina and the team is beyond excellent and so personal.
Rooms are stunning, pool is perfect - like I say - don’t think about staying anywhere else. This is the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Belvedere Suites. The view from the verandah and the pool area was breathtaking! I think the sunset view from the hotel was better than the crowded restaurants in Oia.

And the staff, Marina, Chris and Christos, were extremely helpful; they made our stay really enjoyable. We plan to revisit Santorini and stay in the same hotel in near future.

Great service from the porter and reception on arrival and departure. Excellent sunset views off the balcony!

The suite (206) was well-appointed with a full size kitchen but there wasn't anything in the drawers/cabinets to speak of if you really wanted to DYI meals here (which I did not). The bathroom was a bit cramped given the size of the suite.

Also suite 206 is adjacent (on the right) to the balcony of a cafe where patrons at tables can overlook onto your balcony. It wasn't as private as I would have hoped (sans for the early morning when the cafe was shut).

Biggest annoyance for the island is that tap water is not potable and this hotel only afforded two small complementary bottles in the room. Hotels should just offer larger bottles to cover guests for the entire duration of their stay.

I travel many countries and stay in hotels. This is one of the best hotels. Best lacation, views and near to all the shopping. Staff is so informative and cooperative. Breakfast is the best in Europe. I cant find one -ve. May be too many steps 😉.

Amazing view from the suites. It is located right on the cliff overlooking volcanic mountain and ocean.

I cannot rate this hotel enough. the location is perfect inbetween Oia and Fira town. The hotel is situated right on the ocean with views to die for with perfect sunset settings. extremely clean with attentive staff that cannot do enough for you. we stayed in the VIP room that had amazing views and was very spacious. All of the staff went above beyond to make our stay extra special and a special thanks to Christoph the manager and Christos and Tanni at the bar for being truly wonderful and attentive people. Can’t wait to come back again and i highly reccomend this hotel. Superb Stay and value for money!

The pool was nice and the view was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised that we were slightly upgraded to a room with an adjacent private outdoor sitting area. Great room, great view. 2 couches that were just perfect to sleep on (my travel partner snores). Had a bit of trouble with the AC but was resolved quickly.
I wish they had recycling considering they don't have water stations to fill up your reusable water bottle. And the option to not change the towels/sheets would be great. For those of us that care about the environment. I'm surprised they weren't more eco friendly. :( That was disappointing.

Fantastic little place with stunning views and brilliant location as only 5 to 10 minute walk into Fira so you can get to the really busy area easily with all the bars, restuarants and shops but have a lovely quiet location to relax in. Service excellent and when we did have an issue with room not being made up while we were out it was sorted straight away. Ideal for a couple and would 100% go back to this hotel. Worth paying the extra to get room with balcony with view over Caldera as could never tire of waking up to that view.

The entire hotel is immaculate. So clean and freshly painted white. Loved the pool view. The pool is a large pool with a cute bar. I always got a lounge chair and never had to fight for one. They play loud American music at the pool in the afternoon. The breakfast is outstanding w a ton of options. The coffee and yogurt are so good. But I wish it would start a bit earlier. It starts at 8am. The staff are so helpful and sweet. The hotel is right by the shopping, great restaurants, and a short walk to the bus station. The walk back from staton is uphill. The wifi was a bit spotty in my room but I did not pay for a window view so I think that is why. My room was more like a cave which was fine w me. I did not hear anyone else at all. I would stay here again in a second and recommend it to anyone.

Great location and espectacular views! The breakfast was very good. The path to downtown Fira was an unexpected bonus but we wish they had explained this alternate path upon arrival. We walked down the main road with little or no sidewalks on our 1st day. We were in room 107 and it was great!

You need to walk down from the top to your rooms so there are lots of stairs. This didn’t bother us but could be an issue if you have mobility issues. My husband, sister, and I stayed for 3 nights. We had 2 junior suites. I cannot say enough about this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and courteous. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and adequate in size. The views from the rooms and balcony are spectacular. Breakfast is made to order and delicious- loved the pancakes with honey as well as the cappucinos every morning on the balcony. The location is perfect- easily accessible to the restaurants and shops but out of the noise. Will definitely stay here again.

Reception staff only can say No. No service from reception, would not show you to your room, or where anything was. Not obliging at all. Bar staff was awesome, friendly and service was excellent. Hotel offered us an upgrade as it seemed other guests could not do the stairs so we obligated and moved rooms, but seemed a downgrade as 4 flights to ger to your room and staircase in the room to access master bedroom. Could not get a cup of tea in the room, only a coffee maker.

Absolutely breathtaking views of the caldera from our balcony. The property was clean and quiet, even with plenty of other families and guests around. We felt like we had a lot of privacy, which was lovely. Great breakfast each morning. Professional, friendly, and helpful staff. I really enjoyed having two levels to our room, with the bedroom up on the second floor - I could rest while my partner could watch TV or read downstairs without feeling like we might accidentally disturb the other the few times we were just relaxing in the room. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had the BEST stay at Belvedere Suites! This was our second time staying here and I cannot recommend it enough! Vanessa and Dimitri went above and beyond to help us plan dinners, make reservations, book transportation, and have an amazing stay. The pool bar and breakfast is beautiful and the sunset by the pool is absolutely stunning. This is so close to so many amazing restaurants and a quick walk to Fira. Stay here, you won't regret it!

We had the most wonderful stay at Belvedere Suites, the hotel staff really looked after us! No request was too much and they always went above and beyond for us. The hotel room was beautiful and had such amazing views. The reception staff, especially Nicoletta, were extremely helpful and gave wonderful advice on where to dine, beach and pamper. The location is perfect and you feel tucked away from the tourist madness of the rest of Santorini, but can access it all in a few mins walk if needed. Sunsets from the room or by the pool with the friendly staff serving up cocktails is a must!.. was well worth the money and highly recommend to everyone.

Staff is very nice and patient- I disconnected my router in the room and then complained that I don’t have Wi-Fi.

One thing that I would add is equal friendliness. Separate toiletries in plastic should be replaced with refills. Spare toothbrushes etc all plastic in plastic wrappers. We should seriously move on from that. Lastly it would be great to have a water fountain but despite me having a refill bottle I needed to get plastic water bottle.

The property is very well kept and very clean. What really set them apart was the staff! Vanessa ( the night concierge from 1500-2300) was superb! She always went out of her way to ensure we were taken care of. She was able to book reservations or come up with an excellent alternative for us. When the island experienced blackouts she was always asking if there was something we needed! 5 out of 5 stars.

The view from the room was amazing - we couldn't have asked for a better view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was included but the choices were very limited. Wifi was spotty. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend it to other travelers.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is located in a most perfect spot with breathtaking views into the caldera and amazing views of the sunset. We were lucky to visit whilst the island was still quiet after lockdown which made it even more peaceful. Each and every member of staff were excellent and nothing was any trouble to them. The hotel premises were kept beautiful and clean and they had all Covid measures in place for everyone’s safety. The walk from the hotel into Thira along the caldera pathway allows spectacular views but would be very difficult if you had mobility problems.

Great Location

Excellent location, convenient to restaurants and local transportation, with amazing views. The breakfast was OK but below par with that provided by less expensive hotels in the Greek Islands. Limited seating in the breakfast area and isn't good on cooler mornings.

Beautiful View, and not much else

The view from the pool is stunning, the staff is very nice, the rooms are reasonably cute with a nice shower, and that's about it. For the price, I expected much much more. The breakfast is meh, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the main stairs to get down to the hotel are downright dangerous (though that's a Santorini thing in general). No hot tub, and really no amenities to speak of for a pretty expensive place. Walking past all the other hotels, my wife and I were jealous. Again, the view is amazing, but that's most of what you get.

The place is spectacular, the views are out of the world, you don’t have to go far for famous sunset views, one can watch sun setting right from the poolside, avoiding other overcrowded places. It is a walkable distance from the center of the town, the terrain is a bit up and down, overall I will recommend staying here.

Perfect location, near some lovely restaurants, close enough to Fira but far enough away that it was quiet and relaxing away from the crowds, incredible views, the pool area was great although the water was slightly on the cold side, our balcony was not attached to our room which was a bit strange but still a very nice room, overall a wonderful stay!

Leak in shower was reported several times & even though maintenance claimed it was fixed, it kept leaking. They didn’t move us to a different room. Our room didn’t have a sea view as website claimed. Pool was freezing cold. Hot tub also freezing.

This property is amazing. You step outside and you see the Caldera. Everything is very clean, all staff is so nice and friendly. They go above and beyond for you. I let them know I’m checking out on our last day and they were like oh no worries did you want us to arrange a drive for you back for the airport? They came to the room and picked up all the luggage carried them up all the stairs to our taxi.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel, just like there is nothing wrong with a white tee shirt. Zero luxury sums it up. There are sooooo many luxurious hotels in santorini. There is no need to get short changed at this hotel. For a similar price, look elsewhere.

The pluses: the view is spectacular and it is well situated far enough from the chaos of Fira but only a 10 minute walk to get there and not too many steps down from the main road. Also, one of the best places to view the sunset. Drinking water is provided free of charge in water coolers in the hallway. We were given complimentary breakfast on our first day as we arrived very early and they tried to prioritise getting into our room earlier. The pool is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. The negatives are that although it is clean it is not spotless, the staff are fine but could be more enthusiastic, the breakfast is good but should be better for what you pay and you should not have to pay 5 euro for a cappuccino. The vip suites are the most expensive rooms but in my opinion the worst being positioned lower than the other rooms so that the view is restricted and you have the bedroom in a loft with some not very nice stairs to get there. You wouldn’t want to have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Overall, the hotel is very nice but very expensive and should be so much better.
