Very friendly staff. Be prepared to go up and down the stairs from the main street. Very centrally located room is very clean spacious you’ll have a mini fridge and that’s about it. You will share your terrace with other guests for breakfast.

The staff Reynalda and Luis were so friendly and helpful! There are a lot of steps to rooms but they helped with luggage! The breakfast each morning was plentiful and a great start to the day, served on the balcony overlooking the caldera! This hotel a wonderful sunset view of the caldera and volcano.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The hotel is beautiful with breathtaking views and the staff is so extremely nice and wonderful. We had a very late arrival and they greet us as the transfer drop us off to help guide us to our room. I absolutely love this hotel!

This is a room only property. No pool, dining room etc.
The property has exceptional views of the Caldera. It does have a lot of steps to the rooms, however most of the caldera view hotels do. We loved the help that was given to take our luggage up and down the stairs. Outstanding young man.

Hotel offers amazing views and excellent value for money. Would be hard to find any other property in Santorini that offers these views at this price point. Not too many stairs compared to other properties but they assist with taking your luggage from the main road to your room. Hotel is a short 10min scenic walk to the centre of Fira but the restaurants and shops directly above the hotel are also good if you want to escape the cruise ship crowds. Special mention to Olga who provided us with a great room, helped with transfers and made our stay very comfortable.

Gorgeous little hotel on the caldera with amazing views and friendly helpful staff. Perfectly apportioned family suite had a super comfy queen bed on first floor with two twin beds in a loft above. Location of the hotel is right in the walking path to Fira with some shops and restaurants just at the top of the stairs. Note the hotel does require steps to get to and from. That seems pretty standard in Santorini and a very helpful gentleman will carry your bags up and down for you! Perfect stay!

Let me first say that I have spent 1000’s of nights in differential hotels around the world. This place is the worst I have stayed in over 20 years!!
At 8am we are woken up by heavy knocks on the door twice and apparently that was the time for the breakfast which we did not know and it is left outside with all others. The feeling of this is that you are back on your school trips or a boarding school.
You better bring ear-plugs since you will be woken up every morning when breakfast is severed regardless if it is for you or not since there is no noise insulation at all.
The breakfast had a fried egg that was cold and left outside. Everything comes packed in grocery store packaging and reaffirms how cheap this place is and they want to try and make it look so good but it’s not!!
Further they do have a kettle in the room but you better clean that as well since the one in our room was dirty and filthy, on the other hand they don’t even have coffee or tea in the room.
The rooms are dirty and the bathroom should not even be mentioned. Maintenance of the place is non existent.
The place does not look as the pictures shown and the price they charge is not worth it at all.
This is more of a backpackers place than anything else.
If they offer you a transport from the airport or port do NOT take it. They claimed the normal price is 70 and they will arrange for 35…walking around in Fira you find it for 12 euros in lots of places…
It spoilt my holiday in Santorini, never going back!!

Amazing views from our shared terrace. Great breakfasts served daily to our room table (different each day). Staff very friendly but not over powering - Levani was a great help carrying both cases up 86 steps - thanks. Only downside was no pool, but we knew about this before we booked so was ok. Room cleaned everyday with fresh towels. It was very peaceful & would highly recommend - stayed Aug 23 - John & Gavin

Amazing property! The receptionist was so lovely and welcoming and very helpful in helping us plan our way around the island with transfer services. Also the breakfast was delicious and it was amazing having it served on our patio table with the view. Would suggest this place to anyone wanting a great place on a budget relative to other places in Santorini in a good central area.

No water!

Fab location with a few minor things that let it down. The water had little to no pressure, twice (in 24hrs) there was not enough for showering. The first time we called the emergency number (reception isn’t manned at night - we at a problem around 10.30 after returning from a late hike). We left a message and no one returned our call or check in the morning. In the morning we tried again, at first there was water and then it stopped. I managed to find someone who told me ‘it happens in santorini’. Eventually some pressure came back but it wasn’t anywhere near a good shower. We also ordered bfast for 9. It didn’t come until nearly 20 past. When it did it was good, local and served with an amazing view! If it wasn’t for the water situation and the apparent lack of ability to fix it the stay would have been great

The view is beyond words!

This is the place if you are looking for a fantastic view of the Caldera. If you are driving, free parking is a short walk away. There are minor flaws i.e., hot water could run out during peak periods or if you are taking a shower way too long ... but all these minor niggling issues will disappear as soon as you walk out of your room. The incredible view is just that ... incredible! I will be happy to stay here again, and again.

PLZ BOOK THIS! it’s in a great location and the staff is amazing. there’s only two downfalls to this place is the bed and the stairs to go from hotel to the town. the bed was very thin and deff put a number on my back. the stairs really get your steps in for sure so beware that. but you’re in greece everywhere has stairs. staff was more than excellent. they carried our bags down the stairs when we arrived and when we left they carried all of them UP.. great location great views highly recommend maybe only a day or 2 since the mattress. fira is 15 min walk

Awesome stay, GREAT LOCATION!

The room was fairly large and comfortable, the mattress was hard and thin, the bathroom was a bit small and the shower was running out of water frequently, you had to wait with soap in your eyes for more water to come. On a positive note, the terrace offers AMAZING panoramic views of the caldera, and there were NO issues with our group staying up very late with music on the terrace. We had a very good time here!

Santorini caldera views from Manos Small World are out of this world. The best part of our stay was waking up each morning and enjoyed Caldera's blue ocean and sky and enjoying our breakfast in the balcony. The entire staff was super friendly. Special thanks to Efthimis for making our stay extra special with his personalized service. The only improvement for hotel is providing better lighting in the shower area but killer views, friendly service, and convenient location to everything more than makes up for 1-shortfall.

Had the most wonderful stay at Manos Small World with my partner this past week. When we arrived, we were upgraded to one of the bigger suites and the view off the balcony is absolutely breath taking. The breakfast is a continental breakfast (there is a sheet you can fill in every day and drop of at reception) and it is definely worth getting because you can enjoy it while watching the caldera. All of the staff were extremely helpful with our stay including helping us with our luggage up and down the stairs, getting taxis for us and recommending us places to go :) No complaints at all. On top of that firostefani is right at the door step so there is no shortage of fantastic food options and fira city centre is just 8 mins walk down the road. (but you can also take the bus from the station right outside of the hotel, it will go from firostefani to fira or firostefani to oia) Go book this place. It made our trip.

Cleanliness was OK but not good. Sink was clogged (and did not get fixed even after we asked to). Couch was stained.
The description said 2 beds - it was one but a rollout was brought in no time.
Communication was OK, even though some of my requests were left unanswered. Quite a few mixups.
There is no pool but upon request we were allowed to use another one 100 meters away.
If it was not for the location and view - I would not choose this place.
The price for this quality was outrageous- but I guess that’s Santorini :)

Amazing place located close to the heart of Fira. The manager is A service and made you feel like you were family. It is located right on the caldera with a bunch of other hotels so you will definitely feel like you are part of an authentic Santorini experience. This small hotel had a lovely view of the caldera, be prepared to go up and down about 45 steps to/from the hotel, but this is true of any place along the cliff side that you will stay. Overall, property was wonderful, breakfast served every morning, the owner was very nice. Room was spacious with seating area, small table for eating. Only complaint was shower head should probably be replaced, other than that, highly recommend.

What a beautiful hotel! The location was perfect and near everything! The hotel provides breakfast right outside of your room on the terrace, it's not private balcony but you have enough space between your neighbors (we were there during the off season, so less crowded). The hotel has amazing view of the sunset, so no need to leave the hotel. The front desk people were so helpful and sweet! We will definitely stay there again.

simple hotel with extraordinary views

Manos Small World is a small boutique of about 9 rooms - 3 rooms on three levels... it is part of another hotel two buildings over... the rooms are actually quite big for European standards... and for the location, view, and money spent... it was a very good deal. Google maps almost took us down a walk only road lol.. luckily someone had parked their SUV blocking us from going down... (thank the Lord!)... so just know that little bit of info!... when we walked up, Pilot greeted us warmly and then walked up to help us with the luggage. Note.. Santorini, is not a good place for you if you do not like walking stairs... and if you want to be on the west side of the island with the best views... you WILL have to walk stairs.. with luggage... I saw many going down the rough rock walkways as well... so be prepared!... kudos to Pilot and Chrissy for their kind demeanor and helpfulness. The location of this hotel is in Firostefani and has some great places to eat and drink right up the stairs... overall we enjoyed it...

Not worth the price you pay! No private balcony!

This hotel does not offer the standard or level of service expected for the rate it charges per night. The price I paid per night seemed too much for what I received. First of all, there's no private balcony as opposed to what's cleverly depicted by the hotel pictures. Instead, you get a shared TERRACE with other rooms in the row and there are two chairs and a table in front of each door. It is the similar to getting a hotel with no balcony and a shared water-front seating area/breakfast area. Not worth paying extra thinking you are getting a balcony. Don't expect to have any kind of service. The reception office has very limited day-time hours and was closed most of the time we needed anything. In fact, there's always a note at the reception door for guests to call since there's no one there to help. The rooms have no phone, no alarm clock and no basic amenities like a phone charging outlet. The TV in the room is the size of a monitor (24 inches). Wifi service never worked even though they claimed it worked. The excuse we were given was that iphones have a hard time connecting. We put that to test, and even Android phone didn't get any Wifi signal because they didn't have a longer bandwidth to serve all their rooms. Moreover, we got to our room at 9PM and their office was closed which basically meant no one there to check us in and get us in the room that we had already paid for. The only good thing was the room delivered breakfast in the morning.

Stunning caldera views, nice rooms, good service

Great stay at a lovely 4 star hotel. Located right on the cliff in Firastefani the views from the porch are breathtaking. The rooms were large and clean, the shower was a good size, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was varied and tasty. The price was relatively affordable for caldera view rooms (with breakfast included).

Unfortunately they only have a hot tub(filled with cold water) which is tucked away from the cliff and no pool. Also one room (ours) had a large palm tree outside blocking some of the caldera view. It would have been nice to know about that before arrival. Overall we had a great night here.

Our stay at Manos Small World exceeded our expectations. Just completed a 3 night stay and we found this property to be a perfect little jewel in Firostefani. Efthimios and Thrassos were extremely helpful and accommodating to our group of 9. They were always ready and willing to provide us with any assistance necessary including arranging transportation (which was quite the challenging feat for our group). Everything they recommended was always “on point”. Daily morning breakfast, perhaps not elaborate, was generous with more than adequate variety; the suites, themselves, had all the necessary amenities and were exceptionally clean. Location of MSW is ideally situated 15-20 min walk to bustling Fira (to the north) or 20-25 min walk to beautiful Imerovigli (to the south)! And last but certainly not least, from our morning breakfasts on the veranda to the eveving sunsets! ...The view from our suites(s) was SPECTACULAR!!

Maria who runs the hotel is the sweetest and is so incredibly helpful with any questions and definitely goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. This hotel is situated in a central location on the island. Easy walk to Fira, but far enough from all of the crowds. It has a stunning view of the caldera. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Very clean. Each room has a little breakfast table overlooking the view, where they serve a nice breakfast every morning!

Honestly it's hard not to have an amazing time in Santorini, simply because of the stunning setting and beautiful welcoming Greek people. But this hotel made the experience extra special. The owner, Maria, is so warm and welcoming and helpful, and she instantly made us feel at home. I feel like we were treated like family.

There are certainly more expensive hotels you can find, with some more amenities (like swimming pools), but this hotel (and Maria) gave us memories we will never forget!

The apartment was spacious and the little kitchenette came in handy as we often bought dinner to eat while watching sunset. The communal spa and sun baking area was just right for cooling off and getting some color. The staff were marvellous. We didn't have to lift a finger. Our luggage was bought down the steps and the manager Maria gave us all the information and help we needed to find our way around, book restaurants and travel arrangements. We highly recommend

Overall just a Great place to stay

Beautiful view, great location - 10 minute easy walk to Fira town. Hospitality was lovely with Maria's suggestions all good from food to beaches. Room has everything you need and the day starts with a fresh local breakfast. Wifi is patchy but to be expected due to being partway down the hill.
Overall just a great place to stay!

Lovely little hotel

Probably the driver of the transfer coach kept good communication with Manos Small World, we were impressed that their helper stood at the parking lot waiting to carry our luggage right when we arrived. Most of the hotels with good view in Santorini are on the slope, some are 3, 4 levels down from the main road with 60-70 steps to climb, and this hotel in a very quiet atmosphere, is just one level down with minimal steps. Many good restaurants, mini-supers, car rentals. free parking lots are within 5 mins walking radius.
The receptionist, Maria gave us a warm welcome. She patiently and helpfully explained the details, took our breakfast order, and briefly introduced the interesting places. Throughout our stay, we were well taken care of, lending us the beach towel, daily room service breakfast and arranging the helper to carry our luggage to the parking lot 5:30 am due to early flight departure.
We stayed in room#11 in the top corner of their multi levels. The balcony is small with a little table to enjoy our sunset viewing and our delicious breakfast. The balconies of other rooms look much spacious, but it is also the passage way of other room guests-lack of privacy. The hotel faces West, we stayed 3 nights 5-8 Jun, luckily had the nice view of sunset to the sea between Oia & Ag. Irini.
The room was nicely divided in and living area with 2 steps up, the bed & bathroom. The living area is in good size has a bench/cupboard, round table and sofa/tea table. All are clean and ti

Could not have loved it more!

We stayed at the Manos Small World for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is excellent, with views of the sunset even better than that in Oia. The rooms are spacious and clean, with all the amenities you could possibly need. Breakfast served on the terrace every morning was also a very nice touch. The best thing about Manos, though, is the excellent staff, especially Maria, who was always so friendly, helpful and cheery. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Great location, perfect view, magical island.

We stayed 5 nights late Sept/early Oct. Our room (No 1) spacious and nicely furnished, with a beautiful view over the caldera and lower hotels. Our own table/chairs/umbrella on a patio shared with the 3 other rooms on our level. Perfect for evening drinks at sunset. Room was cool, we didn't need the aircon, just closed the shutters while out during the day. Quiet at night. Great breakfast served on the patio. Manos and his staff very welcoming & obliging. Room serviced every day. (One small niggle - the sheets must be starched, they are very noisy!! Sounds strange I know). Otherwise can't fault it, except I wish I could get up those steps easier!!

A wonderful experience

Manos Small World is a very friendly, comfortable hotel with an outstanding view of the caldera. The room was spacious and consisted of a living area with a sofa and dining table and an open bedroom on an upper level. The bathroom was a good size and functioned well. We were served delicious breakfasts at our table on the terrace, overlooking the sea. Brilliant!

What a wonderful place to stay it really suited our need of somewhere to spend our down time before flying home to Australia. The location was excellent, our room large and very clean and the view from our balcony was superb. The people running it were very helpful without being intrusive and the breakfast provided was a wonderful array of food more than we expected from a continental breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fantastic Hospitality

My husband and I have stayed in hotels all around the world. Whilst some of them have been very nice, none of them came close to the hospitality provided by Mr Thanassis and his wonderful staff. Lovely breakfast, something different each morning. The staff were always attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. The setting was sublime and the holiday fantastic. We will not hesitate to return there to stay. Santorini is a wonderful place to stay but without Mr Thanassis and his staff it would not have been so special. Our flight was delayed and we had to return from the airport to travel the next day. Manos Small World staff were there making sure we had somewhere to sleep and of course another lovely breakfast in the morning. Yannis carried our suitcases 23K each, up and down around 50 steps to the apartment, one on each shoulder....can you believe it?? Thank you Mr Thanassis, 10 out of 10.
