Overall rooms were very good and excellent view of caldera. We had booked 6 rooms. Two rooms had beds that you have to climb to get in. Not comfortable for 60+ years olds. Breakfast was excellent and delivered to the room on time. Staff are excellent and always helpful.

It’s perfectly situated in between Fira and Oia, making it super easy to explore by foot or by 4wheeler, The property itself is old, very outdated and much like staying in a cave with a poor view from the room of the caldera as well as the directions to finding it.
The plus however is the staff they are all truly fantastic and very kind

Beautiful and convenient location. The property and room were stunning (that view!), so clean. Breakfast delivered to our lanai everyday. Pool was not heated, but a hot tub was also available. Much less crowded than Fira or Oia, right next to great restaurant (Onar’s), and the caldera rim trail. Minor things: shower water took a long time to get warm. Directions to the hotel from the street were not very clear, so we initially had a tough time locating.

I had a lovely stay at Nomikos Villas and, on a larger scale, in Santorini. My suite was enormous and simply but comfortably furnished. The staff, especially Natalia at the front desk, were friendly. The view from the balcony area where you eat breakfast while gazing out at the ocean is gorgeous. The aparthotel is roughly 15-20 minutes on foot from Fira, the island's capital. My only suggestion is to add more variety to the breakfast options. If you choose the bakery option, for example, you receive two slices of marble cake every day. Maybe substitute something else occasionally for the marble cake? Otherwise, everything worked out really well.

Reception staff were extremely helpful and very nice. Our room had the bed on a loft so climbing up a small staircase and a low ceiling was a bit unexpected as these rooms aren’t featured in the fotos. View and morning breakfast on the porch made it all worthwhile so had a great time!! Would definitely come back.

Beautiful view of the hills, gorgeous apartment-like room, private patio, breakfast delivered to my room every day! Perfect location—blocks from the bustling center of Fira, but far enough away to be so quiet at night!

I did get lost trying to find it, so definitely get directions from the hotel!

My family and I stayed at Nomikos Villas for 3 days in September. Our room was right in front of the pool area with amazing views of the ocean. From the time we arrived until we left the staff was absolutely amazing. Giga was there to take carry our luggage, bring us breakfast, and make us drinks at the pool bar. Olga was very helpful with day-to-day things that came up. Luka was there at night to make sure we didn't need anything. All the staff work really hard, and it made our stay so relaxing. Oia is about a 20-minute cab ride, but there are restaurants near the villa that you can walk too as well. We suggest the restaurant Onar which has amazing food and sunset views. The only thing that I would warn about is if you have a hard time walking or going up and down steps this is not the area you should stay in. We absolutely loved it at Nomikos Villas and would recommend everyone to book here. We will defiantly be back again, and we hope to see all the staff again!! Thank you

He is there day and night and does everything from carrying your luggage to bringing your breakfast. Probably the best service we ever had. Absolutely loved it there.

Incredible , stay of a lifetime

This is one of the most amazing stays I’ve ever had in a hotel! The staff is fantastic, the hospitality overwhelmingly wonderful. The breakfast, which is included, is delicious. The property is absolutely beautiful, with sweeping ocean and skyline views out your front door. I can’t believe how much I loved this place and encourage anyone to not hesitate to book here. The staff really sets it apart.

The location was beautiful and amazing! Many of the amenities listed on Expedia do not actually exist at the property. No restaurant or cafe, no spa, no laundry, and only one small, modest poolside bar not 2 bars as stated on the website. Our bathtub was dirty and the bedsheets were stained. The towels were frayed and very scratchy.

Starting from check-in, and throughout our stay the staff at this hotel were amazing. The gentleman from Georgia (Gigi?) was so friendly and always around to help. So was the man who managed the front office. On top of that, the included breakfast was amazing and the view of the caldera from the pool deck was unbelievable!

Warm, welcoming, walkable to many key areas including the cable csr to the old port. Wonderful views day and night and tremendous sunsets. Very comfortable with small kitchen with sink and refrigerator and full bathroom. Swimming pool snd jacuzzi much appreciated on the site. The hotel location is excellent if you walk, drive or use the public bus or taxis (to Fira or other towns).
The staff is very professional, polite and available.
The facilities are very clean and well maintained.
My pre-paid Continental Breakfast did not include beverages. Those are available for an additional charge. The breakfast menu selection was promptly and meticulously served on a personal porch with a magnificent view of the Caldera. From the same personal porch you get a first row magnificent view of the sun set.
Excellent channels selection on the TV.
Wifi works perfectly.
I enjoyed my relaxing stay at the hotel.

This best vacation ever! We stayed in room #16 for 5 nights with an amazing view and our breakfast brought to us every morning by the best guy named Giga. Then we went to Crete and all we kept thinking about was how much we missed Margarita, Giga, Mitos, the maids, and whole staff. Your staff is the best! We called Mitos to see if he could secure 3 more nights and leave Crete early. Don't get me wrong we stayed in gorgeous 17th century palazzzo in Crete, but they didn't have the staff that you have. Mitos worked his magic and we were able to get room #6 by the pool for 3 more nights. It was so cozy. Everyone made us feel like family and we met so many great people that we have already gotten in touch with since we have been back home. Lets just put it this way we have already booked our return in July for 14 nights at Nomikos Villas to celebrate our 25th and my birthday. We can't wait!!!!!

My wife and I had the best stay at this hotel from all the islands we visited. Aside from the amazing view and location, the hotel itself is great and the service is amazing. Giga and Dimitrius made us feel like we are family and not at a hotel. I recommend this hotel to anyone and when we plan to come back this is the only place we will stay.

We had room 1 with a private balcony and we got engaged on the balcony on our last night! The setting and view was amazing. The pool and jacuzzi were awesome. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our balcony every morning. Lovely staff. Location was great too - just a short walk up to Thira and you can get a 20 min bus to Oia. Some really tasty restaurants around too.

Brilliant Caldera views

Nomikos Villas is located brilliantly in a quieter part of the Caldera with spectacular views. The room we had was pool side, and quite pain, but comfortable enough. The pool is a bit tired and small, same goes for the jacuzzi in the common area. What really set Nomikos Villas apart are the fabulous staff, all of whom were great but in particular Eon - brilliant host and barman, and the amazing Yigga(?) the porter and jack of all trades, who were a delight to meet, and made our stay exceptional.

Only feedback would be to have some signage from the road so it could be found easier (especially as we arrived in the dark) and perhaps rooms need a bit of a freshen up but they were cleaned everyday and everything worked! Location (Firastefani) was perfect with easy enough access by foot from main road. 10 minute walk to Thira main strip. Quiter hotel strip which was lovely. Incredible view from pool for breathtaking sunsets. 25 minute quad bike ride to Oia for shopping and sunsets. 25 minute quad bike ride to Kamari and Perissa beaches (a must). Hotel and room was clean, staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Only thing that could be improved is the bed as the mattress was quite hard.
Absolutely loved our stay.

This hotel is located st a great spot, only 10 min walk to Fira and 3 min walk to a bus stop to Oia. Yet it is a very quite place. The view is beautiful, one doe not even have to go to Oia to see the sunset. You can do it from your balcony! Breakfast is included and there are good choices for every taste. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and very pleasant. The room is great, but it may be difficult for some people to clime the steps to the loft where the bed is. Still it is enough space for two or three people. We would stay at Nomikos again for sure!

Could not possibly wish for a better view from your room ! Lovely clean room with amazing bathroom... loved it !
Only critisism is we weren't told you had to park in a car park and have your bags carried to the accommodation. Once we finally contacted reception and found out what we had to do they sent a porter to bring out luggage in. He was superhuman panhandling 3 large pieces of luggage all at once. For our inconvenience they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. Totally satisfied with their response and overall experience!

The rooms are varied for sizing the views are spectacular from any room in the hotel and the breakfasts are perfect. Everything you could want in accommodations and reasonable prices. My stay was absolutely perfect. From the kind, courteous, and professional staff, to the comfortable rooms. Great location, walking distance to all amenities, restaurant, supermarket, shops etc and absolutely stunning views. Iakovos Valvis answer my emails in a very short time was very helpful with my reservations and recommendations. If i ever come back to Santorini I will definitely repeat in this hotel.

I stayed here with my Mum for a week. The staff are very helpful & friendly. The location is perfect, walking distance to Fira so close to restaurants & shops but far enough away not to be noisy. The villas are basic but very clean & comfortable - breakfast (almost in bed!) was such a treat.
Would definitely recommend & will stay there again.

There are other choices

Other than the spectacular scenery that you can also enjoy at other hotels, there is nothing much this hotel offers. We asked hotel to arrange to pick us up at airport but at the last moment we were informed the car was broken so we had to take taxi. Later we checked in in a room that has wifi access problem so we have to sit at the balcony to get connected during the night without light and suffered the cold wind. Not until the second day we were offered to move into other room which is smaller but with much better privacy. The common problem of both rooms is that there is not cold water, even the flash water in toilet is hot and you can see the steam after you flash. Room is just clean enough but not impressed. The stuffs tried their best to help but could not. We felt the manager could not care less about our stay, but we were too exhausted to move out earlier. There are other choices.

Perfectly pleasant, not luxury!

Lovely hotel, views made it. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a studio poolside, on the small side for couple but then you're not spending a lot of time in it. Aspects like toilet seat and Shower curtain cheap. Only 6 sun beds & they were pretty uncomfortable.

Located in firostefani a 5/10 min walk into Fira but nice to be out of the main town a little and a nice walk. Takeaway kebab place, shops & restaurants right by hotel. Rented a quad (not from hotel as more £) and drove around island visiting nearby beaches which was fun. These are around €30 a day.

Not luxurious but everything you need and perfectly pleasant!

Amazing hotel with an incredible view.

I searched hotels and read reviews for about 3 days and I don't think I could have picked a better spot. Nomikos Villas exceeded all expectations I had for Santorini. The location in Firostefani was perfect because it was quiet at night, but an easy 10 minute walk to the center, Fira. Best way to get to the other towns is with an atv, everything is about 20 min from hotel. Definitely use the transportation service the hotel offers, because I think it would have been pretty difficult to find on our own as every hotel is tucked away. The view was so incredibly breaktaking - I could not believe it. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They went above and beyond for anything we needed and were so helpful with planning any activity you're interested in. We stayed in the poolside apartment, balcony is probably nicer having more privacy but you don't spend much time in the room anyway. If I ever get the chance to visit Santorini again I won't need to bother looking elsewhere, Nomikos Villas was amazing.

Amazing view, amazing location!

The pool, the location (just 10 min walk from Fira) and the amazing view were amazing! Our room was smaller than we thought, but traditional which was great. The breakfast was always served on time and they were amazing at helping us with our luggage. We were a little disappointed that we requested a pickup from the port, but they never came. I would suggest just finding transportation at the port, it's cheaper and pretty easy to find. We recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

We loved our stay here. Our room was upgraded to a pool suite which was extremely spacious! Breakfast was served in the pool area every morning with spectacular views and the staff were really friendly and helpful! Mango the villa cat was very adorable :)
Excellent location, walking distance to delicious restaurants and shops.
Highly recommend and we would stay again.
wi fi had to be accessed in the pool area but I assume that's because the villas are thick caves. No big deal, Santorini is amazing!

Fabulous hole with stunning views.

We had a fantastic stay here in a superior room which had stunning views of the Caldera. Staff were fantastic especially the guy who collected our cases and basically did everything else around the hotel, cleaned the rooms, delivered everyone's breakfast to the balcony, cleaned the pool & did all the maintenance. The guy who worked at the pool bar was also great along with the lady on reception.

Very convenient location with plenty of restaurants and shops just within 2 mins walk, yet the hotel situated in a quiet area. Stunning view of the sea and the signature Santorini white cliff houses view. Excellent services. The hotel is clean and neat with all the necessities. Very glad to have stayed here with a very reasonable price! Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel by the cliffs with amazing view

Overall the hotel is superior value for money. It has amazing views on the Caldera and is located on the cliff overlooking the sea. If you go for this hotel, choose the superior rooms as the rooms at pool level do not have privacy and you wont be able to enjoy the view from your own private balcony which superior rooms have.

The only criticism we had was that there are limited long chairs available at the pool and not enough if the hotel is full and everybody wants to enjoy the pool area at the same time. Additionally the breakfast is good but very basic. They offer slices of cooked ham, slices of cheese, greek full fat yoghurt, cereals, OJ, coffee and tea. It also comes with two slices of melon (watermelon and yellow ish melon).

The bed was ok, however, the mattress had iron springs that you can very slightly feel in your back, however not a huge inconvenience as we slept really well.

The location is ideal, very close to Fira but far enough from it so the hotel is quiet at all times.

Just one night

It was only one night but the hotel staff were really great and looked after me. Definitely book the transfers with the hotel - lovely driver.

Room was large and spacious and had everything that I needed.

We got the room at the top level of the complex, and the view was absolutely amazing, it worth every single penny we paid for stay there. The staffs were very friendly and helpful, one of the staff helped us to carry our luggages from the main street to the hotel, and then up to our hotel room when we checked into our room. The breakfast was simple, but it tasted a thousand times better when you were sitting at the tarrace overlooking the Aegean sea.

Great view from Firostefani

This hotel is located in the middle of Firostefani, so it has an amazing view of the caldera.

Pros:
- View of caldera cannot be beat (great for sunrise and sunset, no need to go to Oia)
- Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance
- Breakfast brought to your patio/room, so that you can enjoy the amazing view :-)

Cons:
- About a 15-20 minute walk to Fira, which has the better restaurants and shops
- All tours tend to leave from Fira

When is round 2?!?

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The service is exceptional, the rooms were large (for EU standards) and the views - amazing. We stayed in room 12, it had a private veranda with a table for 2, a lounge chair, and directly across from a private hot tub -- all of which had amazing views of the sea / cliffs. Giga(SP?) (gee-gha), is one of the staff - he's so nice, friendly, a true gem.
One note I will make, is that the hotel was hard to find - we had to ask a local after being dropped off by the cab. The hotel is back on a little path, not on the main pedestrian path. But once you are on the right path, it's easy to find. I'd recommend the hotel to add a hand-drawn map to show how to get there.

Breathtaking experience

Travelling from the airport to the hotel did not convey the beauty you would have expected. Even when getting out of the transfer vehicle you wondered what would be there. However, as soon as you walked towards the hotel, the view with the classic white buildings was breathtaking. I could not have chosen a better location or hotel. Staff were amazing, including the man who would lift your 25kg bag onto his shoulder without any effort and walk to the hotel with the other 25kg bag in tow. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stunning Little Hotel - Give It A Go!!!

What a find! Nomikos Villas is a lovely small complex with the rooms surrounding the pool and stunning views out across the Sea and Volcano.
The Breakfast is made to your requirements and delivered to the place of your choice (we chose to eat by the pool)
All the staff are really friendly and full of advise about the island - pool/beach towels are provided and the rooms are cleaned to a lovely standard daily.
This hotel is really cheap for the area and worth trying as I think you'll be really pleasantly surprised. Their is a large array of restaurants and 'things to do' around the hotel however hire a car one day and explore the island.
The only negative was the slow wifi. You may want to call them when you first arrive as the streets are a bit of a maze and the bell boy will amaze you with his strength with the ability to carry all your bags!

An Absolute Gem

About 15 minutes drive from the main port. 15 minutes walk from Thira (20-25 minutes hike when returning back to the hotel). 5 minutes walk Agios Gerasimos square. Might take a while to figure out exactly how to get there but ask anyone and they would know the place and point you to the right direction. Lots of nice cafes, restaurants and bars around. Gorgeous little hotel with breath taking magnificent views of the caldera and the famous Santorini sunset from your balcony. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and accommodating. Lovely and clean room. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

Postcard location

This hotel is set amoungst the hotels in the postcards that promote Santorini. It is the place to stay. You can walk to all the key activity centres from here. Be aware that outside this location You will require transport and it is quite barren between the out of town resorts and the main town. As per many Greek hotels, they did not have a shower nozzle holder. When staff realised that we were not familiar with showering with one hand, the fitted the holder - we did not need to ask.

Beautiful Views and Top Notch Staff

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nomikos. We had a great view off our balcony (room 10 I think). The rooms are quaint and cozy. The hotel is literally built into the side of the mountain which was neat but two drawbacks: 1) I stand at 6'2\" so I came home with a few dents on the head (the rock will always win that battle) and 2) the humidity was pretty high in the room. Be sure to keep the bathroom closed and vent on during a shower...that was our mistake.

The staff made the trip that much more enjoyable. They were always extremely helpful and welcoming. We lost our luggage upon arriving in Santorini and they went above and beyond in pointing us towards affordable replacements (to avoid tourist pricing :) and helping us with some expedient laundry. We would visit here again!

Santorini at its best

Incredible staff, Soriri, Natalia, Yiya, Elena and all the others. Ask and they shall make it happen, reservations, recommendations, transportation, etc.
Close to centre of Fira. Far enough to be away from the cruise ship crowds. Traditional rooms add to the experience of Greece. Not a single complaint. Bravo

Gorgeous views across Fira

Cute hotel with gorgeous views across Fira - ask for room 12 for the best terrace. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was rather hard and uncomfortable but rooms were very clean.
