The hotel is located on a great street in Haeundae Beach. The hotel was easy to find and every thing nearby was easily accessible. Only thing is it's a older looking hotel and if you get a beach view, unfortunately theres a gigantic billboard that covers half of the beach view so you just get a sliver of the view.

Helpful staff and clean rooms. We had a great view to the Haeundae Beach from our room! There were some noise from the remodeling taking place but that was expected, so it wasn’t too terrible to deal with. But, there were plenty of amenities nearby so we had a nice stay.

Convenient location but like others have said, the place is a bit dated (lights don’t work well, elevators don’t work well, only one socket, etc). But the worst part is that our “ocean view” was blocked by a giant billboard, and to the left of that is another giant LED billboard that is very bright at all times with ads.

We got the executive suite which provided more room for our toddler to run around but there was poor room design. There were no outlets near the bed. No light switch near the bed. There were only two outlets in the entire room that was across the room from the bed. The light switch was also across the room from the bed. The worst was the bathroom. The shower curtain does not go around the tub, with every shower the water would leak onto the floor. The floor was basically flooded afterwards.

I really liked this location. It's close to everything on Haeundae Beach. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good also. I can't wait to see it when the renovations are complete. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Staff was very accommodating and switched out our room on second night due to rowdy neighbors. Overall rooms were clean, especially the bed and sheets. Very convenient to the beach and restaurants. The only downside was the loud ass drilling from construction that began at 7am.

Hotel reception is on the 9th floor of a mixed use building. Bed is a box spring. You can feel the coils. Requested to be moved to another room with better bed after our first night. However. was told all their beds are the same and supposedly newly replaced. Aside from that, on our second night, we could smell fried food coming through the room somehow.

It is good for location. Steps from the beach and subway. But not much for quality of stay.

Foi quase tudo perfeito, o hotel está em uma excelente localização, o quarto é amplo, tem limpeza dia sim, dia não. Oferecem água, chá, café.
Não sou muito fã de cortina no banheiro, no meu quarto tinha.
Por ser em um edifício compartilhado com outros estabelecimentos, pode acontecer algum imprevisto como no meu caso que um dos andares decidiu usar um produto forte como tíner às 21h30, na hora que eu estava me recolhendo e o cheiro subiu para todos os quartos do hotel. Espero que isso seja esporádico e que obtenham o controle de não fazer isso à noite. Mas entendo que não seja uma questão/responsabilidade do hotel, por isso não o penalizaria na avaliação.

Good location but disappointed view

Great location in Haeundae beach. 5mins walk to subway station and the bustling street market is just directly across. There are also many cafes and shopping along the road. Only one front desk staff everytime but the staff are fluent in English. The suite room is quite big but little rundown. My first room was given 11th floor, I booked the superior suite with balcony but only have partial sea view as it was blocked by the billboard sign. Then I requested to change to higher floor but 12th floor was also blocked view. The staff said the higher floors are taken. So disappointing.

I found that this was a very convenient are to stay in. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of my room. I did find some hairs from maybe a prior guest as well as found the shower to be a bit inconvenient because every time I used it water got everywhere. I think that the water issue could cause damage and possibly a mold/mildew issue if not taken care of properly over time. Other than these issues I really did enjoy my stay here. It was in a great location and the staff was very helpful and kind to me!

The location is almost impossible to be any better. The room was HUGE and had the most amazing view. The staff was VERY friendly, helpful and professional from the first encounter at the front desk, to the daily help and cleaning staff, and right up to meeting the owner in person onsite. The front desk and lobby are on the 9th floor which was a little unusual but actually became a positive. They had a GREAT coffee machine that would make amazing americano or espresso each morning before heading out. The price for the size of the room and view was well worth it and to be honest, actually a REAL BARGAIN with more value then can be described.

Very convenient spot to stay so close to beach and many activities. However the hotel is rundown and in need of upkeep and up dating. Our room seemed like it had not been occupied or cleaned in months and months. The staff were excellent and helpful. I would recommend paying a bit more and staying somewhere nicer as Busan is so lovely.

Loved this hotel! It is a business hotel so don’t expect all the perks of a regular hotel, but the room was spacious and clean and it was right by the water. I loved the location! The bed was also super comfy. The only complaint I had was that it was a little noisy at night being close to all the bars. I would definitely stay here again!

I typically don't stay at Business hotels, but my coworker stayed at Sunset and old me it was inexpensive, and the location was prefect. No doubt the location is idea. There's a Thai massage on the 4 floor with legit Thai masseuses, a coffee shop on the 3 floor, and tons of restaurants on the street. A small side street with all kinds of street foods as well and lots of bars with Guiness on tap. Because the rate was pretty cheap we upgraded to an Executive corner room. Great view and definitely Would stay there again.

I don't understand how this hotel has such high reviews. The hotel is very outdated, the pictures are misleading. There's a nightclub on the second floor of the building that's extremely noisy. There was also hair and other debris on the floor from previous guests of the room.

We were supposed to stay 4 nights and booked another room after the first night which says it all.

Staff friendly and responsive. Hotel was pretty old, but its located close to fun sights of Haeundae. The plumbing (toilet) left much to be desired as it didnt flush properly the whole time we were there and we had to call maintenance to fix the issue multiple times. They were always quick to come and fix the issue. It wasn't until the day we checked out it finally started working properly.

We didn’t like the property as soon as we saw it. Doesn’t look like the pictures on Expedia. As soon as we walked in we knew the hotel was not safe to stay in. We walked out after a few minutes and looked for another hotel to stay at. We kept the key for a few days just in case we absolutely did not have a place to stay at. We went back after 2 days just to return the room keys. The front desk person was nice but we just can’t stay at that hotel. The hotel was totally misrepresented and no where near the description on Expedia. I wouldn’t recommend that place. I would like to get a refund but I know that would never happen. I was given the chance by Expedia to cancel the reservation a few days before but how would you know to cancel if you haven’t really seen the place. I hope this feedback make it to your website so people would know what they are getting into with this hotel.

Luxury without the price.

The location is unbeatable as it’s literally two minute walk to the beach! The surrounding area has great seafood, pork soup and excellent abalone porridge restaurant. (7 minute walk) The front desk has excellent manners and very attentive. The cleaning lady is also attentive and consistent in providing clean towels, linen and refilling coffee water. The tv works well, the shower was hot and strong. Although no kitchen, the refrigerator was big enough and the two separate vanity was helpful in washing fruit and small laundry. Another plus was the floor to ceiling window all at a modest price.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Business Hotel, and it's clean, convenient walk to the beach. I booked a double bed but they gave us a suite room with partial ocean view. It was unexpecbut we love it so much and more likely we will try to go back.

This is an older hotel that is in the same building as other businesses. You check in on the 9th floor for example but you can not beat the location - right on the strip and less than 1/2 from beach.

What started out as a good experience was severely affected by two things - a poorly designed bath tub which any water not in the basin resulted in a wet floor. Since the shower head leaked this meant every use. In addition, we smelled smoke for three nights coming from the bathroom vent and then extending to the bedroom on the last night when our A/C gave out. We notified reception twice and after a brief apology, asked us to turn on the fan. They did not try and investigate what room this was coming from even though the entire hotel is non-smoking. So if you are a smoker, feel free to stay here and smoke in your room. Otherwise the location is fantastic and room amenities were good. I would also skip the average breakfast buffet.

It was very noisy. The guest staying next room kept coughing all night and I could hear so clearly as if the person were in my room. When they talked, I could hear clearly too. Lights in the corridor were off all through the day, it was quite dark. The pillow cases and quilt cover got quite a few stains. There were 10 sockets but most of them didn’t work. The location is very good though. The breakfast is pretty ok too. I would pick other hotels in that area next time.

The room is really nice and clean with lots of space. But would love to see more of English manual on how to use the air-con or other amenities in the room. It located very nearby the beach and also lots of restaurants and shoppings nearby. Breakfast is nice. Staff (front desk) can speak good English and helpful. However, we asked for the towel change for next day but we did not received while we go out and had to call and ask in the late evening. Staff service is quick and polite. Parking lot has lots of spaces but it‘s quite narrow on the way up and down the parking with one way. Recommend to stay here.
