The island as a whole is beautiful and this resort is no exception. After a few days adventuring we decided that the nicest place on the island was actually just by the pool at the resort. The staff were incredibly helpful in explaining anything we wanted to know and organising transport too/from different places.

A beautiful hotel with incredible breakfasts delivered to your room each morning. Rooms were clean, modern and all had lovely terrace area with a fridge. The pool area was always quiet with super comfortable sunbeds and a short walk to the centre of Fira which had fabulous views and restaurants. The only thing it was missing was the Caldera view but this is reflected in the competitive price.

Such a delightful place to stay! Really beautiful property with a great view. Location is perfect, it’s a super quick walk to fira’s main square. Loved my room it was comfortable and spacious, with a very nice bathroom. Felt incredibly safe my entire stay here. The hotel also has laundry service, which was very convenient, and a nice breakfast service that’s delivered to your room. The staff here is great, it seemed to be family run(or at least partly) and they were all genuinely lovely people. I will definitely be visiting Santorini again and would absolutely stay here again, as well. Highly recommend.

Very convenient location - walkable in downtown Fira. Close to airport (15mins max) and they arrange your transport. Beautiful outdoor setting and view. Extremely clean, pleasant staff, comfortable bed, good AC (important for us Americans). They bring your breakfast to your room at agreed time and you can sit outside your room to enjoy. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location 5 min downhill walk to centre of Thira. the hotel rooms aren't huge but are kept very clean everyday and have all the facilities you need with good bed and nice bathrooms with shower. hte reception staff are lovely very helpful for all you needs with getting around the island, organising trips and transfers plus where to go in town. The are around the very lovely pool is nice and quiet very relaxing for those wanting to get a tan etc. We went out for dinner each night in town and used Tirana resturant nearly everyday as great value and local, afterwards we'd walk about town but ended up sitting with the owners at the hotel as they've a lovely bar with nice balcony which was very relaxing most evenings :-)

My Mum and I stayed at this hotel last week and we were very happy with our choice.

It is in a quiet side street just off the main road in Fira, but within 5min you can get to shops, restaurants and cafés. Bus station is 10 min walk.

Breakfast tray is brought to each room as there is no common dining-room, which would have been nice.


The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. They reached out to us days before arrival and offered us a pick-up service at the port. Especial recognition to Dionysis, who was very nice and always had a kind word to us in our native tongue (Spanish)!

The hotel is very clean and ideal for those who want to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay, so I would certainly recommend!

Nice place this -Dionysis checked us in with zero hassle very friendly and informative. We have stayed here before so knew what we were getting -nice room nice pool- great place. parking was a bit of an issue quite hit and miss but Santorini Fira is a super busy place.

Dream Island reached out to us immediately after we booked our room to help is secure transport from the ferry port that was waiting for us when we arrived. It is a family run hotel, with small but cozy rooms and only steps from stores, restaurants, mini markets, rental agencies for cars, scooters , etc and the central square of Thira. They have a decent sized pool and a very large lounging area around it. The tourist area and the best sunset location is also close by. They will deliver breakfast to your personal balcony or patio which you might like at sunrise for which you have a spectacular location. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I would recommend this accommodation in Thira.

This hotel is very well kept, clean and friendly. The staff were always helpful and nice. The location was brilliant as it was a 5 minute walk down hill to the main square (uphill on the way back though), so close enough to the busy parts but also far enough away from the noise! The rooms were clean and spacious with all the bits you need (towels, toiletries, iron, AC etc) and a sea view. The pool area is beautiful with sofas, sunbeds, swing chairs and bean bags. The only thing we disliked about this hotel was the lack of shade around the pool - there are only 2 umbrellas for about 20 sunbeds AND these umbrellas were cemented into the ground and cannot be moved! The position of the umbrellas was also pretty useless as the shade they provide actually goes off a ledge which means you can’t even move the sunbeds to use the shade properly… so of the only 2 umbrellas, they are useless. There are 4 sofa areas with shade, however 2 aren’t by the pool and the other 2 you have to be lucky to get in the morning. In saying that, the pool area is lovely and quiet, not busy and always beds available (maybe because they are in permanent sun, who knows). Overall, we are very happy with this hotel and everything that it provided. Was lovely, modern, clean and had beautiful areas to enjoy.

Very uncomfortable beds, light in room that can’t be turned off will keep you up all night, hot tub promised but not even filled when we arrived. Not enough hot water for all of us to shower. Like staying in a manufactured home with cheap repairs. Photos show a very different representation of actual views

Peaceful Stay in Busy Fira

This hotel was centrally located, and easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The pool area is very peaceful and refreshing. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was included and was delivered at my chosen time each day, and I was able to eat outside on the patio or by the pool; there were four different menu options to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if ever back in Fira.

Nice hotel run by a family. Location is close to town, with a good view (although the view is not of the cliff ocean side). Good breakfast and nice pool. Hot tub is not hot though, so more a mini pool. (Only complaint is that we booked a shuttle and had another friend join us on the shuttle who was staying in a different hotel. Shuttle driver didn’t say anything, and then they charged us double to add one extra person, instead of the extra charge per person)

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. It was our favorite hotel that we stayed at throughout our trip around the Greek Islands. The family that runs the hotel are lovely - all of them are super friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooms were spacious and private with a lovely view of the sea from our private balcony area, and the pool area was beautiful - very relaxing with a view of the sea and plenty of chairs and loungers both in the shade and in the sun. The buffet breakfast was awesome with a huge assortment of items and lovely staff on hand to help. The proximity to Thira town was perfect - a quick to minute walk and you’re there. The hotel also helped us book an amazing table at a restaurant overlooking the caldera at sunset for my birthday - we truly got the best table in the place thanks to their help! All in all a beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. We would definitely book this hotel again.

We loved our stay at this hotel, especially the location, size of the hotel and the privacy. It was quiet and just a short walk (5 minutes) to the square, the shops, bus transportation and to watch the sunset. The pool area was beautiful. Lots of sun beds, as well as shaded seated areas with fresh towels always available. The rooms are simple classic and clean. The daily breakfast had a wide assortment of hot and cold items. Very good food and it was constantly monitored and refreshed as needed. Reception was friendly and helpful.

The breakfast and Konstantina's hospitality were amazing! The beds are some of the hardest I've come across, and we didn't sleep well for the 4 nights we were there. A quick note - the view is of the east side of the island, not of the caldera. Still gorgeous, but may not be what some are looking for.

Lovely family run hotel which is just perfect for visiting Thira. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk to the centre and is a little gem . We spent most of our days relaxing around the pool and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.The hotel provides breakfast to guests and we really enjoyed this , from fresh pastries to fruit with yoghurt and warm eggs and bacon there is so much choice.Our room was overlooking the pool and very comfortable with everything you could need being provided. We would not hesitate to stay at Dream Island hotel again in the future .

Before even leaving on my trip, Konstantina reached out to me immediately after I made reservations and ensured I would be shuttled from the airport. This was unexpected but really made the difference in that Dream Island truly look after their clients. The supreme care offered by the entire staff while I was there for 2 weeks was unmatched and unparalleled. Their daily continental Greek style breakfast is flawlessly prepared with a large variety of delicious, nutritious and assortment of dishes. Their sweet resort dog greeter \"Bella\" will steal your heart. I cannot express my gratitude from the beginning thru the end. I rate this resort (5) stars. I will be back with family and friends in the near future. I highly recommend one look no further to rent anywhere else particularly that the resort is strategically situated with sea views and breath taking sunrises. The rooms are spotless and roomy. The entire staff is friendly, English speaking, professional and so wonderful. The owner also invited me to their private farm. I cannot say enough about this family and resort. Thank you kindly for everything you provided me.

Well to start with, the beauty of the hotel made an impression on me immediately and then it was the friendliness of the staff who welcomed me and told me whatever I needed to know to kickstart my time in Santorini. I was led to my very beautiful room and was surprised to get such good toiletries, a comfortable bed and another surprise was the lovely breakfast that was made for us every morning. I strongly recommend this hotel which is well located in the heart of Santorini near the restaurants, town n bus station. It’s all happening near this hotel and if you’re doing the Fria to Oia walk, the hike starts just 200m away from the hotel 👍👍👍👍👍

It was in a good location with food, rental cars, and parking nearby. Very cute and comfortable - great staff. Very clear warning about staining towels so there were no surprises or unclear expectations.

The only thing that was difficult was not at all related to the hotel - we didn’t realize so many things would be closed due to off season and google didn’t help as it said they were open locations when they weren’t.

Great location, driver picked up us on time, breakfast was ok.
However out of four nights , one night we had stay in our rooms with ankle level water in our rooms. We returned late , around midnight . Found due to heavy raining , rooms were flooding. All shoes were wet , somehow slept overnight with three children as no one serve the reception after 9pm. Next day when complained this to Konstantinos , she said it was due to heavy raining, she could not do anything . It was raining in the morning, at best until 3pm, plenty of time to clean the room, ok-I was not in the room to inform them but from their experience of running the business for years they should knew that the room floods during heavy rain. It was not cheap hotel and no apology received for appalling service .
