It was actually a dream. Family-run hotel with a big resort feel. Location was excellent, rooms were spacious, and breakfast was plentiful and delivered to your room and the view was beautiful. If you have a car, parking was a bit tricky as the hotel shares a lot a public lot. However, it was an overall excellent experience.
Rachel
Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast served to room patio. Walkable to centre of Fira and Caldera cliff path.
Danielle
We absolutely loved this hotel!! Everything was perfect! The staff were so helpful. Highly recommend.

BOOK IT!!! I spent weeks reading reviews to find the right spot & im glad I did. This location is perfect, 8 minute walk to everything you need any direction. Tons of restaurants, shops. Property is stunning & spotless. Well maintained. Would absolutely come back. Hope this review helps if you’re on the fence about booking, don’t hesitate.

Breakfast croissants were fantastic. Breakfast at room delightful. Impeccable service. Family owned. Beautiful view of sea. Close to all town activities.

This felt like a four-star resort. They serve you a massive breakfast in your room every day which I ate on my balcony, looking out over the ocean and the pool. The service of the staff was great. The location is very central and walkable distance to everything, but away from the crowds. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Santorini.
John

Beautiful little hotel with a view and pool though I didn’t use it.
Annabel
Amazing pool area, breakfast delivered to your door and a 2 minute walk to all the action yet very quiet!

The island as a whole is beautiful and this resort is no exception. After a few days adventuring we decided that the nicest place on the island was actually just by the pool at the resort. The staff were incredibly helpful in explaining anything we wanted to know and organising transport too/from different places.
pamela
Customer service as it finest. Our room was spacious for a family of four- spacious and comfortable. A beautiful resort within walking distance to shopping, many restaurants and the most amazing view. Breakfast is delicious and delivered to your door. The pool is scenic and so refreshing. A wonderful place to stay.

From the minute I arrived at the Santorini Airport , the staff made me feel welcome ,travelling on my own I’d been worried about my holiday but nothing was too much trouble ..breakfast served everyday on my balcony ,..it felt like a 5 star resort.

The property is very clean, the room is amazing. We can watch sunrise right outside of the door. It is a short walk to the bus station, and the area has many dining choices.

Staff were so lovely and accommodating, they couldn’t do enough for us and went above and beyond with their services. Hotel was gorgeous with a serene environment that’s immaculately kept.

The stay was wonderful. Paid extra 20 euros as had booked for one person only and my daughter came for three of the four nights.

Great staffs, breakfast was brought to us daily and we were able to enjoy it at the terrace in front of room! The location is so convenient, could not ask for more. Will definity book this hotel again in the future.

Very nice hotel, the owners are very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, quiet , close to the main streets, shopping, restaurants, clubs but far enough not to hear all the noise. Would definitely go again, highly recommended
Harrison
The hotel was absolutely stunning! Would very much recommend to anyone and I’m sure we will be back! The breakfasts that were brought out were fantastic. Very clean and rooms made everyday.
Kim
A hidden gem just outside the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas of Santorini.
Quiet and spotlessly clean with a spacious outdoor area, I’d totally recommend Dream Island Hotel.

A beautiful hotel with incredible breakfasts delivered to your room each morning. Rooms were clean, modern and all had lovely terrace area with a fridge. The pool area was always quiet with super comfortable sunbeds and a short walk to the centre of Fira which had fabulous views and restaurants. The only thing it was missing was the Caldera view but this is reflected in the competitive price.

Karen
Such a delightful place to stay! Really beautiful property with a great view. Location is perfect, it’s a super quick walk to fira’s main square. Loved my room it was comfortable and spacious, with a very nice bathroom. Felt incredibly safe my entire stay here. The hotel also has laundry service, which was very convenient, and a nice breakfast service that’s delivered to your room. The staff here is great, it seemed to be family run(or at least partly) and they were all genuinely lovely people. I will definitely be visiting Santorini again and would absolutely stay here again, as well. Highly recommend.
Julie
Very convenient location - walkable in downtown Fira. Close to airport (15mins max) and they arrange your transport. Beautiful outdoor setting and view. Extremely clean, pleasant staff, comfortable bed, good AC (important for us Americans). They bring your breakfast to your room at agreed time and you can sit outside your room to enjoy. Would definitely stay again.
Anielka

Excellent location 5 min downhill walk to centre of Thira. the hotel rooms aren't huge but are kept very clean everyday and have all the facilities you need with good bed and nice bathrooms with shower. hte reception staff are lovely very helpful for all you needs with getting around the island, organising trips and transfers plus where to go in town. The are around the very lovely pool is nice and quiet very relaxing for those wanting to get a tan etc. We went out for dinner each night in town and used Tirana resturant nearly everyday as great value and local, afterwards we'd walk about town but ended up sitting with the owners at the hotel as they've a lovely bar with nice balcony which was very relaxing most evenings :-)
Thierry
Nice hotel with pool and a view

My Mum and I stayed at this hotel last week and we were very happy with our choice.
It is in a quiet side street just off the main road in Fira, but within 5min you can get to shops, restaurants and cafés. Bus station is 10 min walk.
Breakfast tray is brought to each room as there is no common dining-room, which would have been nice.
The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. They reached out to us days before arrival and offered us a pick-up service at the port. Especial recognition to Dionysis, who was very nice and always had a kind word to us in our native tongue (Spanish)!
The hotel is very clean and ideal for those who want to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay, so I would certainly recommend!

nice place
Nice place this -Dionysis checked us in with zero hassle very friendly and informative. We have stayed here before so knew what we were getting -nice room nice pool- great place. parking was a bit of an issue quite hit and miss but Santorini Fira is a super busy place.
Marilyn
Dream Island reached out to us immediately after we booked our room to help is secure transport from the ferry port that was waiting for us when we arrived. It is a family run hotel, with small but cozy rooms and only steps from stores, restaurants, mini markets, rental agencies for cars, scooters , etc and the central square of Thira. They have a decent sized pool and a very large lounging area around it. The tourist area and the best sunset location is also close by. They will deliver breakfast to your personal balcony or patio which you might like at sunrise for which you have a spectacular location. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I would recommend this accommodation in Thira.
Laurie
Hotel is convenient to shopping and restaurants with lovely staff and beautiful courtyard/pool area
Lori
Wonderful family owned property. Very attentive, friendly and helpful!
Michael
We were welcomed like family and found ourselves with a very spacious accommodation even though we were only there for one night, would absolutely visit again! It is a super central location to great dining, shopping, and the nightlife of Fira!
Lydia
This hotel is very well kept, clean and friendly. The staff were always helpful and nice. The location was brilliant as it was a 5 minute walk down hill to the main square (uphill on the way back though), so close enough to the busy parts but also far enough away from the noise! The rooms were clean and spacious with all the bits you need (towels, toiletries, iron, AC etc) and a sea view. The pool area is beautiful with sofas, sunbeds, swing chairs and bean bags. The only thing we disliked about this hotel was the lack of shade around the pool - there are only 2 umbrellas for about 20 sunbeds AND these umbrellas were cemented into the ground and cannot be moved! The position of the umbrellas was also pretty useless as the shade they provide actually goes off a ledge which means you can’t even move the sunbeds to use the shade properly… so of the only 2 umbrellas, they are useless. There are 4 sofa areas with shade, however 2 aren’t by the pool and the other 2 you have to be lucky to get in the morning. In saying that, the pool area is lovely and quiet, not busy and always beds available (maybe because they are in permanent sun, who knows). Overall, we are very happy with this hotel and everything that it provided. Was lovely, modern, clean and had beautiful areas to enjoy.

This is a great location. Very close to everything in Fira. The staff is amazing and kind. Loved the pool and all of the attentions and amenities. Great Hotel

A lovely hotel with friedly staff, well situated for exploring Santorini by bus, close to shops and restaurants but far enough away to not be disturbed by music from pubs and clubs at night

I loved staying here! The staff are so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help me - I so appreciated it. The morning starts off with a breakfast feast delivered to your room. The location of the hotel is within easy walking of everything you want to do in Fira; also easy to access the bus system to explore the rest of the island. Highly recommend this hotel!

Bucket list trip almost ruined by stay here
Horrible experience
Very uncomfortable beds, light in room that can’t be turned off will keep you up all night, hot tub promised but not even filled when we arrived. Not enough hot water for all of us to shower. Like staying in a manufactured home with cheap repairs. Photos show a very different representation of actual views

My name is Mike and was there for 5 days. The staff is extremely nice and the hotel is in a perfect location! you are minutes away walking distance to the main square where the food, amazing views, and night life is. I will book this hotel again in the future. Thankyou, Mike Rosa

Peaceful Stay in Busy Fira
This hotel was centrally located, and easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The pool area is very peaceful and refreshing. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was included and was delivered at my chosen time each day, and I was able to eat outside on the patio or by the pool; there were four different menu options to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again if ever back in Fira.
Mara
Had a great time at dream. Family run establishment and everyone was so great and friendly. Very close to Fira city centre. The pool was beautiful and so refreshing. View was spectacular and room was clean and nice. Very happy would stay again

A family run hotel that is situated in a quiet area of Fira, but only approx. a 10 minute walk from the main square, shops and cable car. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly as well. Good size pool and seating area. Excellent views to east of island. Scrupulously clean for COVID19 protection. Good and generous breakfast.

The hotel was beautiful, spotlessly clean. Beds comfy. Loved the breakfast being brought to the room. It was perfect for our needs. The pool area was immaculate and nice touch in providing towels. Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel run by a family. Location is close to town, with a good view (although the view is not of the cliff ocean side). Good breakfast and nice pool. Hot tub is not hot though, so more a mini pool. (Only complaint is that we booked a shuttle and had another friend join us on the shuttle who was staying in a different hotel. Shuttle driver didn’t say anything, and then they charged us double to add one extra person, instead of the extra charge per person)

Good central location in Fira. Rooms are dated and lacks the feel of a modern hotel. The owner was lovely, breakfast was good and the pool was nice as well.

A good find
Hotel was charming. Staff was welcoming . Check in was easy. Transfer from airport was very reliable.
Very good breakfast with pleasant service. Only drawback was the organizational space inside room. No drawer space even for minimum clothing.
Great shower and very comfortable bed. Pleasantly surprised for a 3 star rating. Pool was beautiful as was terrace

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. It was our favorite hotel that we stayed at throughout our trip around the Greek Islands. The family that runs the hotel are lovely - all of them are super friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooms were spacious and private with a lovely view of the sea from our private balcony area, and the pool area was beautiful - very relaxing with a view of the sea and plenty of chairs and loungers both in the shade and in the sun. The buffet breakfast was awesome with a huge assortment of items and lovely staff on hand to help. The proximity to Thira town was perfect - a quick to minute walk and you’re there. The hotel also helped us book an amazing table at a restaurant overlooking the caldera at sunset for my birthday - we truly got the best table in the place thanks to their help! All in all a beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. We would definitely book this hotel again.

Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing pool and breakfast. It is about a 5 min walk to the no car area part of fira. The walk is on a busy road. But we managed ok with 7 year old.

Lovely quaint hotel.impeccably clean, delicious food, not overcrouded. Staff very helpful, service second to none.
Excellent location just on outskirts of main town, but only a 2 minute walk from the buzz.
Would definitely go back to this hotel if visiting Santorini again.

Beautiful family run hotel. Staff are lovely and always have a smile. Location is fantastic with only a short walk in to the main town but still in a quiet spot. Breakfast is great and pool is awesome.

Amazing from start to finish, unexpected peace away from the madness of the town.
Beautiful views and pool with comfy loungers, rooms all facing out onto these...breakfast is expansive, everything you think you want for breakfast and more. 100% recommend as a base to explore the North of the island.

It's a family business hotel and they are amazing people, very available and kind. One day we needed a pc to do some stuff and one of the girl of the reception offered to bring her personal laptop for us. Another thing that I enjoyed was the presence of a channel on the tv broadcasted by the hotel with informations about Santorini, history, things to see and so on. I really suggest this hotel.

Perfect Location
We loved our stay at this hotel, especially the location, size of the hotel and the privacy. It was quiet and just a short walk (5 minutes) to the square, the shops, bus transportation and to watch the sunset. The pool area was beautiful. Lots of sun beds, as well as shaded seated areas with fresh towels always available. The rooms are simple classic and clean. The daily breakfast had a wide assortment of hot and cold items. Very good food and it was constantly monitored and refreshed as needed. Reception was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were clean and nicely decorated in Greek style, the communal pool/sitting/relaxation area was nicely arranged and perfect for hot afternoons, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Quick walk to town, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend!

So pleased about this hotel. Absolutely spotless, spacious room and wonderful bathroom. All staff pleasant, friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast more than adequate to start the day. Lovely and quiet although we were only a few minutes out of the main town. Pool and beds lovely too. Could not recommend this place highly enough. We will be going back to Santorini and will stay here again😊

Fantastic value location is an easy walk to Fira and the caldera, but also away from the crowds. Beautiful view of the sea. Pool area and room were both excellent as was the breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend staying during a visit to Santorini!

The location in Fira was perfect for walking to restaurants, the local bus, and the amazing hike to Oia. Breakfast was fantastic, the pool was relaxing, and the rooms had everything we could ask for. Just an amazing place to experience the wonderful island of Santorini.

Staff was super friendly and helpful with advice and making reservations. Facilities are clean and well kept. Room was large and had all the essentials, even though we had some trouble getting warm water. Issue was immediately addressed when. Breakfast is a true highlight of the day!

Great breakfast, hard beds
The breakfast and Konstantina's hospitality were amazing! The beds are some of the hardest I've come across, and we didn't sleep well for the 4 nights we were there. A quick note - the view is of the east side of the island, not of the caldera. Still gorgeous, but may not be what some are looking for.

Nice hotel - close to Fira square
Great family, very friendly! Helped us with anything we needed, including to help book a winery tour and a boat!

Lovely family run hotel which is just perfect for visiting Thira. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk to the centre and is a little gem . We spent most of our days relaxing around the pool and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The hotel provides breakfast to guests and we really enjoyed this , from fresh pastries to fruit with yoghurt and warm eggs and bacon there is so much choice. Our room was overlooking the pool and very comfortable with everything you could need being provided. We would not hesitate to stay at Dream Island hotel again in the future .
