This is a very comfortable hotel in a quiet setting facing the sea. It has chargers for electric cars on site which are accessible using electoverse among other methods. Parking is plentiful and free. Food is excellent and the hotel is within walking distance of Cabourg town centre if you want to try something different.

Beds are very comfortable and the in room tvs allow guests to cast from their own devices so we enjoyed our programmes on the big screen!

Fantastic facilities

A last-minute overnight stay before I return home on the ferry out of Cherbourg. Having looked at all the options available in the area. This one stood out for its modern finish and excellent facilities. I was incredibly impressed by everything and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for one or more nights on the northern French coast. The only thing I would improve would be to offer more information in English for visitors who don’t speak French.

Great stay. Fantastic facilities. Healthy and yummy breakfast. Pleasant walk to the beach with shortcut access from the hotel, easy walk to the centre of the town. Very convenient to get to the hotel if you drive in, a bit afar if by train.
Only minor negative point: check in is at 4pm, later than the standard check in at 2pm.
I still highly recommend and will return again.

The safeguard at the thalasso is not very profesionnal: he refused to ask daily clients to comply with sanitary rules (which are posted everywhere on site): visitors with long knee pants jumped in swimming pool without taking a shower. As a result the quality of water is not very good... what a pity for weekly clients

room was #149 « partial sea view » but direct view and nice balcony. Bathroom seemed brand new. Location is divine, property right on the promenade of the beach but quiet and private despite being a kinda big hotel.
But
No one offered to help with bags upon check in or check out. Towels were small and coarse. spa doesn’t open until 9am. No free weights in gym. All small details that would elevate the property from good to great.

Really great hotel. Good condition, clean and nice spa/pool (both indoor and outdoor). Only negative thing was that we stayed three adults in one room, and room was a bit too small to fit an extra bed (could not open balcony door properly etc). A nice beachwalk of 15 minutes will lead you to the small city of Cabourg. Free parking.

Its a nicely appointed hotel with a good spa and two pools. It is however located about 20 mins from Cabourg itself thus requiring a good walk into the Centre. Food and drinks are quite to very expensive. The hotel is predominantly geared up to the French and few of the staff speak good English. No written english translation is provided for the Spa services although the very helpful ladies on spa reception will take you through the ' menu.
The partial sea view rooms do not get much sun in fact the rooms overlooking the car park/ garden seem to have the 'sunniest' aspect.
Unless you are a fluent French speaker one to probably avoid.

First impressions of the hotel were that it was lovely. We stayed in room 2 on the ground floor. A lovely spacious room, with a mini fridge, balcony and spacious bathroom and lovely shower, so very impressed with that. The Spa was amazing with the seawater and numerous jets and hot tubs, and likewise, the outdoor pool was lovely and warm, and it was a great place just to sunbathe and relax. Previous reviews suggested the spa shut at 19:00, however, we found this wasn't the case and it shut at more like 19:45, which was fine, as we would then go to eat anyway.

If i had to be critical, I would say the following:

- As is usual in these sort of hotels, the bar prices are extortionate. We had a drink each in the bar every night which was lovely but the food prices were too much, especially when there are numerous lovely Brasseries to eat out in, just down the road in the centre of Cabourg. On average at the brasseries we spent around €50 whereas if we had eaten in the bar every night we could have doubled that.

- Breakfast at €21 each again is crazy when you have lovely patisseries in Cabourg selling freshly made Croissants for €1 each. Its a lovely place to have breakfast and a coffee

- Room prices. Previous reviews suggested a double room was around €340. Shop around though, as i paid €693 for a week via Expedia.

Overall a lovely area of France to visit. the hotel was very clean, spa amazing. Would certainly return, an ideal place for couples to relax.

This hotel is specialized for adults that want to have a complete spa experience.

We were 3 with my 11 year old daughter and the rooms only have one queen bed. We were offered a family room with a sofa. The sofa was terribly uncomfortable, I ended up sleeping on it and I woke up with a sore back as the mattress was hard and tight. The width of the sofa was oddly narrow and I was the only one that could sleep on it. Considering this is an almost $400 euros room per night is completely unacceptable.
We wanted to have dinner in the hotel as we arrived tired so we went downstairs to find a very fancy restaurant that had a menu of $44 euros per person as the most affordable option.
My daughter wanted to swim in the pool and at 7:30 pm we were told the pool closes at 7:45 which is way too early. On top of that we got two cards to get a bathrobe to go to the pool. What nobody explained me was that if I lose the card I will get charged $75 euros per card and also I was not told that you have to ware it to get into the pool otherwise you are not allowed in.
One of the staff in the pool got my daughter out of the pool few minutes before the closing time. They don't care about their guests as long as they are paying off the money. They were rude.
Do not go to this hotel unless you are in honey moon, you are an older couple, or you are with a group of friends that want to pay tons of money for a full spa experience.

End of travelling holiday last night treat

Love this hotel this was the second time we have visited on the last night of a travelling through France holiday.
Staff very helpful and keen to chat not many British staying so they really made an effort.
Great food in evening, breakfast is excellent so much choice and brilliant quality.
Spa pool is fabulous and using that is part of the nights stay.
Will go again, also used the Antibes hotel in this chain that's in an excellent setting for outdoor lunch

Ok hotel.

For the price of this hotel I was expecting some kind of luxury, but it isn't there. The lobby is very busy and chaotic with a lot of people dashing around dripping water everywhere wrapped in dressing gowns. I felt it lacked the prestige I was expecting. A rose bush in a plastic garden plant pot resting on a dinner plate is the decoration displayed on the lobby table.The executive room with a partial sea view was ok, similar to a 3 star hotel, though it lacked privacy as the balcony was facing another one so when they were on their balcony they could see right in our room and cigarette smoke would waft in, so we often had to sit in our room with the curtains drawn and door closed, shame really given the extra cost for a view. The towels are thin and frayed and our toilet was dirty on arrival. We were charged for 2 x breakfast on the day we arrived... yet we didn't arrive till 4pm! The wifi did not extend to our room. The pools are very over crowded and small, sometimes there was no space for us to get in for a swim, and the sun loungers are quite messy, though we were never lucky enough to actually get a sun lounger as this hotel is very crowded and a lot of people everywhere trying to get their money's worth. The location is nice, it's right on the beach. Though a walk to the town was around 20 mins each way. The only way this hotel redeemed itself was the massage I received, the lady doing it was really lovely and it was an enjoyable experience.

Don't trust the restaurant decor. Eat elsewhere!

We liked the hotel on first appearance, but the rooms are small and it is disappointing they cut corners on service. Paper cups to drink out of,two meagre sachets of milk and one shower gel for two guests! The spa facilities are small and crowded by young couples engaging in foreplay and open limited hours so you cannot use them if you arrive after 6pm or so. The restaurant looks nice but service is slow, staff do not appear to have had much training, and the food when it arrived was just awful. Both dishes looked identical with the same watery, splitvsauce and tasteless vegetables full of grit. Oysters were full of broken shell pieces as the person shucking them clearly had no idea how to do it properly. We complained but were told it was not a gourmet restaurant, though at 35 euro per main dish I beg to differ. These are gourmet prices! We felt cheated and upset to pay so much for McDonald's service and cafe style food. greasy spoon quality of food. It trades on a captive clientele who may not want to go elsewhere and does not try very hard. We left disappointed and with the feeling that we had been cheated and to cap it all were ill with food poisoning the day after!

Very French Attitude here, strange so close to England and American sites. Haughty reception and dining staff.

However the pool was excellent , although it closes at 7:30pm. Both Thursday and Friday nights we were there, it said close at 8pm, but luckily we got in there at 7pm, so we had a few minutes to swim. For a place advertised as a relaxing place, being hustled out with many other guests early felt wrong. Definitely the spa pool area should be open late. And don't lose your robe/towel card you get at reception, it will cost you $75.

Perfect hotel for spa procedures, good restaurant

I stayed 3 days and enjoyed great views on La-Manche and beaches, food in restaurant and a very nice personell. Hotel is in close distance to the city center and has direct way to the see bank and beach. The only one minus is a room sizes - premium room (standard) is quite small, but enougth for one person.

Great little hotel with an awesome pool (and spa). Did not use the spa due to time restriction, but the hotel was just lovely. The beach is really close and it was clean and not crowded.

There is a town center close by that you can walk to via the beach with restaurants and shops. Also the Pegasus Bridge museum is close by and it is a wonderful small museum with lots of historical significant.

Fantastic spa facility, views and hospitality

Picked this hotel due to its facilities and beach location. Never failed to impress. We visited the D- day landing beaches, which were between 20 mins and 1.25 hours drive along the coast.

Great hotel to come back to after a long day for a soak in the hydro pool. Plenty of places to eat in the centre of carbourg which is a 5 min drive.

A relaxing break with excellent service

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Easter weekend, extremely warm friendly welcome, excellent modern hotel overlooking huge sandy beach which is stunning come rain or shine. Excellent spa, indoor and outdoor pools, many guests seem content to relax in bath robes around the hotel but would also recommend the 10/15 minute walk along promenade into town, interesting little shops, restaurants and indoor food market. Would highly recommend this hotel, especially sea or side sea views.

If you're looking for a spa...

We choose this hotel because it was on the coast and had a pool. We hoped that after a long day touring Normandy our 2 teenage sons would enjoy the pool and we could have a family meal. It was a mistake for our needs. This is a SPA hotel... not at all set up for family fun. The facilities actually closed at 7:00, when we were hoping to take advantage of them. This was not made clear to us at booking or check in. It was unfortunate as had we known, we would not have made the effort to stay there (it was a bit out of the way). In addition, the evening menu was limited to fish, lamb, and a vegetarian entree. Again, not fitting the needs of our family. One final concern was the overpriced breakfast buffet. It was 20 euro per person and although we were there before the 10 end time, there was hardly a cup of coffee left, and not one staff person checked in with our table to see if we needed anything. We have traveled extensively in Europe, and this has not been our experience. Having said all of that, this hotel is clean, upscale, and well-suited to those seeking a spa (but not after 7:00 pm). The young ladies at the desk were kind and helpful!

Lovely position for touring Normandy

We decided to have a long weekend in Normandy and chose the best weekend for weather! The hotel is really modern and clean and has a great pool and spa facilities. The modern feel of the hotel may not be to everyone's taste but it was in a self-enclosed quiet location within walking distance to the town of Cabourg. We had a partial sea view room. It really was partial as we had the restaurant building at floor level leading out towards the sea. The room was well equipped with multi-shower and a lovely comfy bed. If I'm being picky, the air con was not powerful enough for me but I slept comfortably. We left our swimming gear on the balcony so I am now waiting to see if there is goodwill in returning them to us!! Now to some of the bad bits:

- Terrible WiFi signal which is very irritating when trying to download newspaper / surfing etc. I had to literally go into the bathroom for intermittent signal.
- Absolutely extortionate bar prices (about 18 euros for a Vodka and tonic). I would advise going to the Super U near the hotel and buying your own drinks to store in the room fridge and drink on the balcony.
- Expensive breakfast (19 euros each). We were early enough the first morning to find the restaurant early and have a good selection of all the items. On the second morning we had a late start and found feeding time at the zoo. Many items required replenishment and the hot items, i.e. scrambled egg and bacon was cold..

The breakfast was very poor.

On arrival we were not greeted or spoken to by any member of staff. In the morning we decided to have breakfast at the hotel and again other than being asked what our room number was, we we ignored! The breakfast was very dissappointing and limited as to where you could sit.
We we looking forward to returning to your hotel but on reflection we will probably try some where else.

Chambre, avec vue latérale mer, spacieuse, bien agencée et au calme.
Décoration de la chambre et des espaces communs agréable, avec des tons doux.
Mais les prestations ne sont hélas pas à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles, et d’autant moins au regard des prix pratiqués ! Il faut indiquer la veille l’heure à laquelle on souhaite petit-déjeuner, au quart d’heure près. Et même en réservant, plus de pain au maïs (sans gluten) à 9h30 et pas de ré-assortiment possible puisqu’un seul pain est décongelé par jour.
Le mini-bar de la chambre est indiqué comme étant offert : dans les faits, il est vide et, lorsque l’on demande à l’accueil ce qu’il en est, l’hôtesse indique avec aplomb que l’on peut aller se servir de l’eau au distributeur gratuit à chaque étage, et acheter des boissons au bar de l’hôtel, pour des « raisons écologiques ». In fine, ce qui est offert, c’est le meuble réfrigéré du mini-bar, vide ! Quant au distributeur à eau à chaque étage, pas d’eau gazeuse pendant les 3 premiers jours de notre séjour.
Sur 5 jours, le ménage de la chambre a tout simplement été oublié une fois. Il nous a certes été proposé de le faire à 18 heures, lorsque nous sommes rentrés, mais nous souhaitions nous reposer après une longue journée à l’extérieur.
La tisanerie (machine en libre service) ferme à 17h30 alors que l’espace aquatique est ouvert jusqu’à 19h45. L’eau de cet espace est à 32 degrés, ce qui est un peu frais lorsque l’on ne bouge pas.

A notre arrivée on nous propose ube chambre surclassé avec offre a 55€ puisque la notre nest pas encore disponible nous acceptons etelle etait tres bien. Le soir nous passons au bar 20mn d'attente et personne ne me propose quoi que ce soit donc nous demandons a une jeune fille le ver de vin qui nous ai servi sans cacahouètes. Le lendemain dimanche je fais des achats a la boutique pour plus de100€ et là aussi auncun échantillons n'est proposé c moi qui les demandes. Très bon WE dans cet hôtel un peu à l'écart du centre ville de Cabourg. Nous avons profité de la piscine intérieure, piscine extérieure et massage.

Erreurs de conception

Des erreurs de conception dans la chambre d'hôtel. Dans les placards, ma femme n'arrêtait pas de se cogner la tête en voulant prendre des affaires sur une étagère ou dans les tiroirs. Interrupteurs d'allumage complètement délirants surtout quand les indications sur les interrupteurs sont à moitié effacées. Service laisse à désirer, malgré notre demande, le conteneur à mouchoirs papier est resté désespérement vide tout au long de notre séjour. La porte donnant sur le balcon aurait dû être coulissante et non en ouverture à la Française, nous obligeant à reculer pour ouvrir la fenêtre. Idem pour la porte de la salle de bains.

Wonderful hotel next to the Beach

Nice and very clean rooms. Very nice outdoor and indoor swimmingpools and spa area. Nice tennis court. Fantastic breakfast. Fantastic restaurant. Very friendly staff. The hotel has a wonderful setting just next to the Beach and with a view to the ocean. We would love to come back

Schönes Hotel mit Toplage am Strand. Über die Strandpromenade ist das Grandhotel mit Casino und die Straße mit vielen Restaurants in 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Der Empfang war etwas holprig. Wir um 15.56 h an der Rezeption und wurden weggeschickt, da dass Zimmer erst ab 16.00 h garantiert ist. Um 16.00 h war es dann immer noch nicht fertig. Wir mussten nochmal 5 Minuten warten, was etwas Ärger war.

Comme d'habitude le personnel est aux petits soins tres agréables, reception bar, personnel piscine, personnel service.
Apres avoir règle votre sejour vous pouvez profitez pleinement de la thalasso grâce a des vestiaires a votre disponibilité. A tres bientôt !

Week-end sympathique

Séjour de 2 nuits en chambre classique. La chambre est correct mais manque cruellement d’espace de rangement pour les vêtements. Placards étroits avec 4 cintres… On s’adapte pour 2 nuits mais insuffisant si on veut rester une semaine.
Un problème de climatisation, rapidement résolue après notre passage à l’accueil.
Sinon l’hôtel est très sympa, piscines propres, à 15 min de marche du centre de Cabourg. Petit déjeuner très bien avec superbe vue avec la mer au loin.

Nous avons passé un super séjour d'une nuit dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et lumineuses. Le cadre de l'hôtel est très agréable et propice au repos. Le personnel est serviable et disponible. Nous n'avons manqué de rien, tout était par-fait !

J avais un grand besoin de déconnecter, mission reussie.
Hâte de revenir cette fois ci avec mon mari.
j ai profité du sauna , hammam et de la piscine chauffée*( comme il faut) malheureusement plus de place pour les soins qui me plaisaient.pas grave...
J ai dîné en chambre, foie gras bien servi, un agneau delicieux malheureusement froid car tout arrive sur un plateu de service, à quand l invention d assiettes chauffantes!
Supplement de 5 eur par plateau en room service, bof! J espere qu ils vont dans la poche du serveur...
