Overall, a very nice and cozy place in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable, though the pillows were a bit hard for my taste and the TV is quite old. That said, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are truly amazing—friendly, helpful, and made the stay enjoyable. I would stay here again.

Just what was needed for an overnight stay in Faro during Storm Claudia. Comfortable, clean single room right in the centre of town with all the required facilities & a professional and friendly staff. I didn’t have the breakfast as I had an early start but it looked pretty good. Will definitely use again.

Decent place! I’m grateful for the clean place to stay. If you’re traveling on a budget and want to treat yourself to a night or two in a private space, this is a good spot. 10:00 am checkout is a bit inhumane, and the shower was pretty tiny, but it did the trick for a night. The staff was sweet. The hotel bite had a flat tire (for I don’t know how long) — felt like there were a few things needing attention. But it was clean and relatively quiet, the location is great, and the balconies are a major bonus. Thanks for the stay!

Only stayed one night but upon entry, our room smelled awful. There is no AC/power (which is common) until your card is in the room, but it was very stinky, 26 degrees Celsius when we got in. The walls were so dirty, several spill spots down them from previous guests and the bathroom light didn’t work. The bed itself seemed okay and sheets were clean but the walls and carpet were disgusting to be honest. Staff were very polite and friendly. Location as great also. But I would not stay here again because of the rooms.

A comfortable hotel (despite the absence of plate and cuttlery for breakfast on the first morning. It was obvious the ladies serving breakfast were rushed off their feet and had run out of plates, which, at 8.30 AM should not really happen so maybe the hotel needs to look at providing the staff with what they need, including possibly another member of staff to help!) The room and bed was very comfortable,, the bathroom was clean, and the hotel location was brilliant, literally around the corner from the pedestrian shopping area, and within a 5 to 10min walk from the marina and the old town. Would highly recommend for a quick escape / city break!

Our room did not have a proper shower cubicle. Due to room being a small rhombus shape the shower cubicle was the same, and was not large enough for someone to shower without hitting the shower bi-fold door. The door did not close properly so every time you shower the water went out the tray all over the small bathroom. The shower hose was split so half the water did not come out the shower head.
There's no where to put hand soap at the sink and in the shower there was nowhere to put the bottles of shower products provided. Overall poor set-up. They should not be charging the same rate as other rooms which had a bathtub.

The bed had a piece of 2inch thick foam, where the bottom sheet would come off.

The hotel itself was located in very central location and staff were friendly.

We didn't try breakfast, so unable to comment on that.

Carpet not vacuumed and AC dripping all night

We were there for two nights. When we checked in, the room had not been completely cleaned. The carpeting had not been vacuumed and the air-conditioner dripped loudly on the carpet all night. The person at the desk said there was nothing they could do until morning. The next morning the manager said we could move rooms, but we were on our way out and only had one day in the city so we told her to just have the room cleaned and we would live with the leaking air-conditioner. When we returned that evening, the room had not been cleaned, not even touched. Again they said there was nothing they could do until morning. They gave us an email addres to register a complaint but no one ever replied to us.

In a nice safe area, really close to the front and local shops, id say its a 2-3 star rather than 3-4.
Id recommend for 2 nights maybe which is what we did, thats probably enough in faro anyway as there isnt loads to do / see.

Great little hotel on the edge of old town. Breakfast is available for purchase but the Pastelaria across the street is amazing…don’t miss out on the pastel de nata and espresso! Everything is completely walkable and we had the best time there! Faro is small town friendly and we’ve never felt safer walking streets and back alleys at night. Take the tuk tuk tour to get an overview of the area and pay attention to the guide…he was a living history book and we had a great idea of what we wanted to see and in what order afterwards. Faro was amazing, you won’t regret your visit or this hotel.

Great hotel, within 10-15 mins walking distance to Faro Old Town, Marina and bus/train station, very near shopping street. Perfect for overnight stays, super convenient location. Room was large, spacious double bed with comfy mattress, duvet and included towels/toiletries, tea/coffee/kettle, and good Wifi. Everything looks newly refurbished, very clean, light and airy. I had a really nice welcome by hotel staff on arrival, i would recommend staying to any traveller.

Good stay

The rooms and bathrooms need improvements. Mattresses were uncomfortable and dirty. The bathroom door was rotten on the bottom. Walls dirty. tv remote, table lamp and wall outlets didn’t work.
Breakfast buffet was nice.
But the whole staff was very friendly and very helpful!!!! Thank you for that!
