Check in was easy. Parking was off site, however, the hotel had a van which we followed to the parkade and there the fellow loaded up our luggage and brought us back to the hotel.
Staff upon check in were excellent and very helpful in planning our activities around Faro.
The hotel is modern but has a very warm and inviting feel to it. The hotel is extremely clean and the restaurant has a great menu with many delicious choices.
The breakfast, which was included in our stay was great. Don’t miss it.
We also received a free upgrade upon check in along with a bottle of complimentary sparkling wine that was brought to our room.
We would highly recommend this hotel to stay at.

I had a tiny bit of trouble finding the hotel at first since you have to park and walk over, but once I did… wow! This place is hands-down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are incredibly clean and spacious, and the jacuzzi was such a luxurious touch. Every detail is top-notch, and you can tell they really care about the guest experience. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

This is a great hotel right in the centre but very quiet . Staff are very good , helpful , friendly and had quite a few conversations with them , whoever is managing this hotel knows how to pick the right staff.
Room was really good with balcony , air con etc.There is an amazing roof top area with plenty of sunbeds , an infinity pool and Resturant bringing your food and drinks out to you all with a great view facing the sea.
There is also an indoor pool.
Walk to harbour is about 5 to 10 minutes.

As a family, we decided that this was the best hotel we have stayed at - and we travel a lot. From the location in a private courtyard in the city centre to rooms and amenities. It is not often you have a hotel in the middle of a city, where they have managed a very private and secluded feel. The room was spacious and the cleaning staff paid attention to every detail. They were impeccable. The breakfast offerings were delicious and we even loved the Italian restaurant on site for dinner. The pool and rooftop patio was amazing - we enjoyed it both during the day and at night. Easy access to ferries to barrier island beaches (10 min walk through beautiful town) - lots to see and do around the hotel or you could just stay in and enjoy the hotel. It has so much to offer.

My husband and I stayed at 3HB Faro for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole hotel had such a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that made it hard to get up in the mornings!

It felt like there were a few areas lacking, and the spa needed a bit of TLC. E.g the steam room was 'warm' and most of the functions in the shower didn't work. Also the sauna water bucket was always empty. Great staff. Great rooms. But something was missing... E.g the bar was separate and closed early...

I think this hotel has the most comfortable bed and pillow for side sleepers! The bathroom was also the most gorgeous modern bathroom I have ever seen with copper/rose gold fixtures and has an amazing rain shower. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with many choices. The onsite restaurant Forno Nero was also great! And the rooftop pool with lounge is a must visit. It was also a nice touch for complementary car shuttle to the train station. So for sure, this is truly a 5 star hotel. Treat yourself!

Beautiful hotel right in the centre of old town Faro. The room (Superior Aqua) was excellent with an incredibly comfortable queen size bed, lovely decor, a comfortable sofa and a well laid out bathroom with the large tub, rain shower and separate wc.
It was the little details which made this a 5* star experience. Plenty of water available daily (still & sparkling) plus soft drinks, robes and slippers available and cleaned to an incredibly high standard.
My only suggestion for improvement was the chairs on the balcony which looked lovely but were rather uncomfortable. The balcony was an excellent spot for watching the 2 storks nesting on the crane.
Breakfast was excellent, service and plenty of options to choose from. We ate twice in the restaurant and food was delicious. We also visited the pool and ate lunch on the 4th floor which was also excellent with great service.

We really loved our stay here. It is centrally located yet quiet, and the rooftop terrace was fabulous, offering great views of the sunset, and the spa was a welcome benefit. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The best thing was the breakfast where you could get everything and anything including all the classics, but also chia seed pudding, freshly made eggs royale, eggs florentine, crepes, and of course, warm pastéis de nata. We would definitely return.

3HB hotel in Faro is excellent. The entire staff (front desk, concierge, cleaning, restaurants, spa, etc.) are very helpful and make you feel welcome. The rooms, bathrooms and balconies are large, nice and super clean. The spa is great. The restaurants are also very good. The weather was not so good during my stay in January but the hotel made it very pleasant. I will definitively choose 3HB Faro next time I visit Algarve.
