We only booked this an overnight stop over after flying into Portugal before heading off the next morning to our holiday accommodation. I would never stay here again, the lady on the desk was nice enough but the hotel was horrible. Although it was clean our room was smelly and the beds were like trying to sleep on rocks. We never stayed for breakfast and as soon as we could get on the road we did.

Hotel receptionist staff are very nice and friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Parking space is small when they had many guests for the restaurants. We had to park on the back street which was a bit far. Overall as the staff were very nice, that made our stay nicer and comfortable.

We needed somewhere to stay for one night after arriving late in Faro. This was perfect - near the airport, but without the feel of an ‘airport hotel’ - it was friendly with a great restaurant which was lively even when we rocked up at 10pm. They were happy to help, and our roommate included breakfast as well! The hotel was absolutely spotlessly clean, and is terrific value for money. We really couldn’t have asked for anything better for a single night before our holiday proper!

It was farther away from the airport that expected, so the Uber/Taxi rides we expensive. However, the property was wonderful!! Everything was clean and the staff were very quick to offer help, even without being asked. I would stay there again, in a minute! Or the next time in the area, which was beautifully quiet! We stayed for 4 nights and it was amazing. The room is clean and looks like newly renovated. The included breakfast was great. The staffs are very accomodating especially the night staff if we ask for something like extra towel or hot water. Parking is free available if you are renting a car. And there are a lot car rentals just walking distance from the hotel. Definitely we will stay back in this hotel if we will go back in Faro. 110% recommended

They had been having a problem with internet connection, which was sporadic - hopefully not a permanent issue. I had the best time!! I stayed 1 night after my late flight and left at 12pm the next day. It’s so pretty. I wanted somewhere with a bath and it didn’t disappoint. Great place to stay if you are arriving into Faro late at night or have an early morning flight to catch. For a 'budget' hotel the rooms are surprisingly large and well appointed. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the front desk is manned 24 hours a day so there is always someone on hand no matter what time you are checking in or out.

Take #16 bus in the direction of main bus terminal (not the beech). Get off at Montenegro stop. Walk a block or so (in the direction away from the airport). Make a left, and cross over the main road and then walk in the direction of the airport. You will see the yellow sign of Frangaria from a distance. The walk from Montenegro bus stop is hardly 7 mins.
The hotel has many rental car companies (Avis, Europecar, Hertz) next to it. The hotel has a basic “ no frills” feeling. It is very clean. Staff is friendly. Despite being on the highway, it is very quiet due to double windows. Beds are a little hard. Best for overnight stays etc.

I have stayed here at least 12 times now and would not stay anywhere else when in this area. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The Hotel has its own restaurant attached which is hugely popular with the locals. Great sevice and good food from a good but limited menu. Not at all expensive either.

Drive up the slip road to the roundabout and go round and down the other side (As though heading back to the airport). Entranxe is on the right BEFORE the big FRANGARIA sign. Stayed for a week. Disappointed that after making initial booking we were informed that the wrong price had been given on the internet so price rise by 190 euros (because of the MotoClub Cato rally being on). Also if you want to check out at 4pm instead of 12noon it will cost you an extra 20 euros. Breakfasts were nice self service with a selection of breads /buns. Sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs, cheeses and ham, plus fresh fruit and yoghurts, fruit juice and coffee machine plus selection of teas. Hotel was clean and rooms a good size.

Access to this hotel is a bit tricky since you need to exit a highway onramp that is narrow and difficult to locate; if using a GPS it is easier to locate the restaurant of the same name for directions. The hotel itself has cheery, crisp colors and offers a homey sense of comfort. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and took the added time to present us a room that would meet our preferences for quiet, although situated between a major highway and a busy residential street quiet is not entirely possible. The adjoining restaurant is great for lunch or dinner and the hotel breakfast is suitable for a quick morning start. There is no elevator (scheduled for late 2016) so perhaps be prepared to climb stairs with bags.
