We booked a family bungalow for 3 nights but left after the first. The room was not properly cleaned. The floors were dirty, there was a used tissue in the bed, and one pillow had red stains. The AC barely worked, there were mosquitoes everywhere, and the upstairs bed was just a mattress on the floor.

The layout was poorly designed. The TV was far from the bed, and the toilet is basically inside the shower so everything gets wet. Water pressure was also very weak. The biggest issue was the AC, which shuts off every time you leave the room and never cooled the space.

WiFi constantly disconnected and breakfast was mediocre. We didn’t bother speaking to the front desk after reading reviews about unhelpful management.

For about $200 per night, this felt worse than a hostel. Would not recommend.

The resort needs updating. The pathways are unsafe in parts for older and unsteady people. The staircase was not washed in the four weeks we stayed. However the wifi was excellent, there was always hot and cold water, and the air conditioning was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Would we go back? No. The owner could update the buildings and pay cleaners to wash down stairs and corridors.

The reception staff only said what your name they was so rude not helpful. The grounds were unkept rundown the paths were terrible paint peel off room was run down bathroom very dirty i have photos to prove all my words they said there was car parking but they mean on the main road . Worst hotel ever

Find a different hotel on the beach

I love Thai people but the front Hotel staff are terrible! They only cared about making more money with an upgrade that they forgot to tell us about the daily breakfast that was included! They also did not explain the upcharge. I speak basic Thai. Then when we asked about Breakfast they said they gave us coupons already (which they lied and did not) and then blamed us and did not give us anything complimentary despite us missing breakfast for a few nights.we explained to the owner but they lied to him! I don’t like being blamed for someone’s incompetence. They hotel is dated and not worth the $80 but it is directly on the beach which is its only redeeming feature. The beach is the only bonus! We will not be returning. Find a nicer new hotel on the beach.

On arrival we were given no information on where anything was. Meal times . The rooms were so dated, they need a good overall. There were only 2 plugs in the room . The bed was difficult for 2 elderly people to get on and off. As there was built in side's Staff were misrable. Only smile we saw was on the breakfadt table cleanersThe food mediocre. Pool only has 3 poolside beds then pethaps 6 under cover. The sunbeds on the beach wete all taken with towels the night before. Not once did we see a sunbed without a towel on it. I would not recommend this hotel

Wifi in the room was terrible. This needs to be upgraded or I would not stay in the hotel again.

Expedia's advertisement states that the Hotel had flat screen TV's which is incorrect.

Jacuzzi room large with all amenities however room desperately needs refurbishment. Very large hotel complex that appeared to have about 4 guests. Transport necessary as very little re food and drinks nearby. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Photos must be dated as is no longer 4 star but acceptable overall for the price.

Been coming to Koh Chang for over 20 yrs and never stayed at Chai Chet - my mistake - this resort is a great spot right on beach and ticks all the boxes for us. As we've got older our levels of comfort and general requirements of accomodation have gone up, but our budget hasn't as much - koh chang resort and spa covers this 10 times over - easy check in - room better than expected - 15 steps to amazing beach - pool 15 steps in other direction - very decent buffet breakfast - cheap beers in room mini bar - room cleaned daily - sun loungers and towels available on beach - I could rattle on but suffice to say - this is the best place I've stayed on the island and for the right price - well done we will be back and we will bring / send others

Hotel to take a break

I stayed at this hotel around for 3 days. I went to Bangkok and also I wanted a really closer experience with elephants, and for that reason I thought in Ko Chang (its mean Elephant Island). I arrived to the Hotel and they didn't have wi-fi, I should cross the street to go to the other hotel. Just that problem I had in there, the breakfast for me was good, the hotel is not near to the beach is in the beach, I rented a scooter to go to another areas of the Island, the people is friendly and help me with the elephant tour that I dreamed.
They have also a spa treatments, but I think you don't need it, just walk and take a look to the beach.
Maybe is not so close to bar, but you should go there to relaxing time, with friends, family or couple.

Väldigt slitna rum. Hotellet skulle må bra av en uppfräschning. Det känns som att hotellet haft sin glansdagar och att deras prio är poolområdet. Fint men känns som att mer fokuserar på externa gäster än sina hotellgäster, det borde finnas solstolar till alla. Personalen är dock toppen och läget bra!

We were shocked to find the hotel in full renovations. The outside areas were full on trash and renovation materials. The pictures showing own beach with loungers are false, there are no more a beach as they are building a new pool on its place. We felt as the photos were highly deceiving and we did not get the hotel we paid for. Rooms are old and the breakfast really small.

Väldigt enkelt hotel som behöver underhållas och skulle kunna vara så mycket finare med enkla medel.
Receptions managern han var trevlig men tjejerna var så trötta, särkilt damen med läppstift lovade byte av rum men glömde bort det. De kollade hellre sina mobiler….. beachbarens personal - super !
Dåligt wifi på rummen oavsett vart man bor.

Dieses Hotel empfehlen wir nicht. Die Hütten sind in die Jahre gekommen,außer einigen neuen Hütten,die wir leider nicht hatten .Man gelangt ins Haus über einer Art Hühnerleiter.Im Frühstücksbereich ist das Personal sehr unfreundlich,kein einziges Lächeln. The hotel is very run down, with rooms not cleaned properly. Door between rooms don’t lock so neighbour can come in at any time. Not safe.

Poorest breakfast in all SE Asia.

Only positive is the beach although hard to get a spot as people leave their towels to book the spot and never show up. Bad hotel management.

Mycket bra hotell för priset. Vi bokade till att börja med två nätter men när vi såg läget och det trevliga rum vi hade så förlängde vi direkt vår resa fyra nätter till och kanske blir det ännu längre. Havsnära med väldigt fin strand och gott om solsängar.

Отдыхаю в этом отеле уже 3 или 4 раз, но, к сожалению, с каждым годом сервис все проще, а здание все хуже. Многое требует ремонта и надзора. Хотелось бы, чтобы персонал уделял время территории, чище проводил уборку в номерах; также, хотелось бы большего разнообразия пищи на завтраке! В целом отель на тухлую троечку))), но, почти стоит своих денег за проживание!

Slidt hotel med meget tillukket personale. Morgenmaden var trist og ikke pengene værd. Værelset lå i forreste
Bygning ud til en trafikeret vej med støj- meget tynde døre gør støj generende. Personalet på restauranten taler meget dårligt engelsk og aner ikke hvad “starters”er og serverer måden i random rækkeføge. Afløbene på badeværelset lugtede

Отличный отдых на Ко Чанге.

Отель понравился. Хорошее месторасположение,отличный пляж,хорошие завтраки.Уборку делали каждый день.Мы проживали в бунгало. Были небольшие недостатки, но мы не обращали на их внимание.Это же 3* и всё полностью оправдано! На следующий год тоже планируем на Ко Чанг и этот отель будем рассматривать в первую очередь.

Jättebra läge, på jättefin strand. Vi bodde i en beachfront bungalow. Lite rörig resort, mycket prylar på liten yta. Men det fanns många solstolar så man blev aldrig utan, det fanns även beachmattor att låna.

Bra läge men lite slitet hotell. Service ok en mycket trevlig kvinna i receptionen som kan bra engelska! God frukost! Var varsam om du har stöldbegärliga saker - lås in dom!! Finare och bredare Beach ca 10 min från hotellet! Underbar strand med toa/dusch/dryck/mat! Tyvärr bokas sängarna på beachen tidigt! Trist att det är tillåtet!

BEWARE! This has been the worst experience at a Hotel I had. I had an unexpected flight cancelation that moved my plans radically, for which I tried contacting the hotel for help in the cancelation and what did I got...people did not answer or left the call unattended waiting for me to hang up and one time the guy of the recepción literally said “OH MY GOD LADY UNDERSTAND Im working and I will not help you” what kind of answer is that!?! So if their staff was not capable enough for helping me address this simple task don’t expect less from them.
So TAKE MY EXPERIENCE into account because PLANS CHANGE radically and UNEXPECTEDLY and now a days we need people or hotels capable of reacting and helping you out as a tourist not leaving you unattended and not behaving ethically at this times. If I were you reading this I would definitely cross this option from my list and move to others as a precaution.

Schöne Bungalows direkt am Meer .Ein Hotel das man buchen kann wenn man auf Frühstück keinen Wert legt.Frühstück eine Zumutung! Service beim Frühstück mangelhaft.Toast der nach Pappe schmeckt,der auch nach dem Toasten nicht besser wird.Milch aus Tetra Pak.Kaffee und Tee zum Selbermachen.Aus Tütchen.Zuviel Personal das die Arbeit nicht erfunden hat bezw.nicht gefunden hat.Zimmer Service 1.a Während unseres Aufenthalts wurden überall Renovierungen vorgenommen wurden .Wahrscheinlich weil bald Sessionstart ist.

Отзывы ввели в заблуждение. Это не 4 , а очень слабая 3 и даже 2. На самом деле отель старый, вонючий. Джакузи в номере - одно название, старое и грязное. Завтрак ужасный, выбор очень слабый. Посуда пластиковая, грязноватая, моют ужасно. Территория отеля выглядит как примитивная дача. Бассейн маленький, вода часто мутная. Но пляж и местоположение отличные. Рекомендую рядом отель за те же деньги COCONUT HOTEL либо PARADISE HOTEL, но второй значительно дороже.

Helt okej hotell för det priset. Dock ligger hotellet mitt emellan de två stora stränderna och alla aktiviteter. Behöver alltså ta en taxi om man vill iväg och äta . Personalen var ok, dock kändes det som att man var ivägen och jobbig för att man ville beställa eller ha hjälp.

Встречал Новый 2018 Год в этом отеле. Номер был за дорогой в 5-ти этажном здании, Окна выходили на стройку, где каждый день в 8 утра начинали работать рабочие. Сам номер был очень маленький, убирали каждый день. Бассейн большой, но очень(очень) грязный, запах хлорки,никто в нем не купается, маленький бассейн рядом с пляжем -чистый. Сам отель не понравился, Новогодняя программа - это пародия на шоу, кажется только стафф, был доволен. Очень много пакетников. Лежаки на пляже не доступны, всегда заняты полотенцами, отдыхающие видимо спят в номере. Завтраки разнообразные, как обычно. Цена явно завышена. Жалею потраченных денег на этот отель. Местоположение отличное.

Empfang schlecht, fast keine Englisch Kenntnisse. Nur ein Angestellter sprach englisch, wenn der nicht da war, hatte man Pech. Keine Einweisung oder Erklärung.

Ikke anbefalt. Bildene samsvarer ikke med virkeligheten. Vi bestilte et rom (hillside), som ikke er avbildet på Expedia. Rommet lå langt borte fra resten av fasilitetene. Dessuten var rommet skittent og i dårlig stand. Det var heller ikke mulig å oppgradere rommet pga at det var fullt. Vi opplevde personalet som useriøse, lite imøtekommende, samt lite hjelpsomme. Området rundt hotellet er rolig og hyggelig. Stranden er nydelig. Dersom noen skal bestille dette hotellet - i hvert fall ikke bestill hillside!
