Check in was OK although we arrived early they couldn't give us a room till 1300. Room was nice 50 meters from the beach (C22) 25 meters from the pool that was under heavy renovation and closed, we were able to use an alternate pool during our 7 nights stay, gym was good, hotel restaurant was awesome at sunset, food tasty and they have a nightly fire show . Morning breakfast was very good plenty of options that was replenished all constantly, overall a very pleasant experience

Amazing value. Great breakfast. Comfortable rooms. 5* service. A+ location. Pool area under construction, but ocean is right there and the walk to the other resort pool is easy-peasy. The only negative was there was no cold shower option. The low was still too warm for my Thai wife.

The hotel is on the beach and other dining options are available. The hotel restaurant is reasonably priced and also on the beach with good food.

The beach allows you to walk out 1/2 kilometre and still be chest deep and the water is warm. As a nice touch an independent 7-11 style store is on the property providing inexpensive beers, spirits, snacks, and lots more.

A nice deck overlooks a pond which is stocked with fish and the bed is comfortable. The buffet breakfast is nice and has both an eggs and noodle station and lots of variety.

The only negative is that the staff understanding of English is a bit weak causing our transport to drop us off at the wrong airport requiring a 800 bth cab ride.

About the resort

Hotel location is very good points I would like to high light need to renovate rooms very old balcony windows must be replaced smell coming out of the toilet need to do something about it otherwise resort have wonderful beach space area. I would love to come back again to this resort hope they take my feed back positively.

Perfect end to our holiday

We stayed here for one night from Sunday to Monday and had a really comfortable stay. The location is perfect and the beach amazing with crystal clear water and white sand. Not far to bars and restaurants in the evening. The breakfast was great as well, and my husband had the best seafood fried rice in his life (which says a lot since he's Thai haha)

The staff here where amazing. We live in Thailand and trying to learn Thai the staff helped us and took time to practice with us. The food was really good and the resort is great. The hotel is in a great location and very central for things to do around the island. I would definitely go back.

This was a good value resort. The pluses are the location (at a beach and easily accessible to other beaches),the gym which was adequate for my purposes, and a decent breakfast. Difficult to get hot water shower in the evening. Just outside the resort is a very good American restaurant that has a wonderful Tex Mex selection. Across the street is a used bookstore with loads of titles in many languages and a good crime/mystery section in English.

Yes, it is really on the beach with amazing sunset

The resort is on the beach with a great sunset! The only downside for me was that there were a lot of families with kids the days I was there and I didn't want to stay in a family focused resort. The resort is big enough that you can get some privacy though. The breakfast was great. The villas close to the beach seemed to be worth the extra money. Rent motorbikes from across the street at Safetricity Co. Ask for Pu she will give you a great deal.

Very pleasant stay

Travelled with husband, 17 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter. First time to Thailand. The resort was small, which meant it didn’t take long to get to and from anywhere like restaurants, beach or pool. We loved the food served by the pool and in the restaurant and although more expensive than local restaurants, we ate here most nights fore pure convenience. By English standards it was still cheap and very tasty. At this time of year the resort was so quiet. It was steaming hot and the sea water was also. There were also jelly fish in the sea but we didn’t mind as the pool was perfect.

I would give this resort 5 stars except that the check in and out was not very efficient t and we were charged for a pool bill which we know we paid but didn’t have proof. Keep receipts (but you will have to ask for one!).

Khun Muy at the front desk is the best! Thank you for taking care of everything, Muy. My second time here and I'm already thinking about taking a room by the month. LOVE the restaurant - great menu, delicious food, great prices and view, and right on the beach! Love the villas - clean, spacious, beautiful, views. Nice pool and fitness area and a well stocked mini-mart. No reason to leave the place!

Just had a 9 night holiday there with the family , We all really loved it there , right on a beautiful beach with a nice lagoon within the grounds , Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices . Fantastic value for money ,We have been going to Koh Chang for 20 years and this is now our favourite. We will be returning .

The rooms we had were quite dated, I am aware there is due to be some work in September this year, I can only assume that the rooms we had are the ones to be done. The hotel in general is very good. The bed linen in our rooms was no longer white, but grey, the towels were very old and bleach stained in places. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The hot water wasn’t working in my friends room and reception sent someone straight away and fixed it. We ate at the restaurant which we really enjoyed.

Hotel room was nice and clean. Some ants in the bathroom though...they didn't bother me and I didn't bother them. Breakfast buffet that was included wasn't so good. All the food that was supposed to be hot was cold, and there were flies all over the fruit platters that were left uncovered. I only ate there once. There is also no bar at the resort and no food or beverage service to the guests on the beach. I'm ok with that because I went to the Kokomo Bar next door.

Great family experience, calm environment

It’s a very laid back resort, and the staff are incredibly nice. They offer a very good Thai massage, and are very reasonably priced. I recommend buying from the minimart located in next to the check in office if you need water or snacks. Otherwise, the restaurants there offer a great variety of dishes, all of which are delicious.
Don’t forget to ask to see their dessert menu! One restaurant even hosts a fire show at night! The free breakfast is really free and really delicious, so make sure to wake up and try the foods they prepare.
They treated us very well even when we locked ourselves out of the resort.
I hope Klong Prao keeps the charm they have for a long time!

It was a nice secluded resort. There isn't much in terms of shops or restaurants just outside, however, you can rent motorbikes just outside the resort.
The food was good, although a little expensive. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good with lots of choices. There is a small store on the resort selling everything from snacks to toiletries which was nice as there are none outside the resort. Lots of families with children were staying, so if you want somewhere really quiet and laid back, I would stay elsewhere.

Nice resort

The resort has access to a beautiful beach with exquisite sunsets. A nice fire show in the evening. Breakfast was reasonable. The massage was very professional.
On the downside:the pool is quite small and it's surrounding could be too crowded sometimes. In addition: our room had no light in the bathroom and a cockroach was found in it.

Our room was sea view room, second floor. On the private beach there are a lot of chairs with umbrellas, sand is soft, water is clean and calm, where we stayed and enjoyed the whole afternoon. It's on the main street but a secluded sectionn, if you not riding a scooter or driving a car, you need to walk 10 minutes to the main happening place at Lamai Beach or take their scheduled free shuttle to White Beach.

Beautiful hotel on the beach

A most beautiful hotel with its own beach, lovely pool and great gardens to view. Staff were very friendly. Great breakfast choices. Decent enough wifi.

Location was pretty good, it's a private resort so nice and quiet but it's a short taxi ride to nearby towns for only a small price.

Unfortunately it stops short of a 5* rating for us as upon arrival to our room we had a faulty safety deposit box, it took multiple staff many attempts to repair the problem, taking over 2 hours and bounding us to the room, it was dark before completion and it was not a great start to our stay. I would advise that room amenities such as the safe are checked thoroughly before guests arrival!

Nonetheless, we had a great time here and only wished we had been staying for longer.

The beach is amazing! Nice landscape.

We went in off season. There was not an option to just get a small breakfast, it was 450 Bhat or go elsewhere. So we did. No way to get a cup of coffee at 9am! The coffee shop was closed until 11, and the little onsite store had instant and no way to make ice coffee. It was as if they all wanted to take a rest perhaps ( between seasons). The room was outdated without a coffee machine or hooks for hanging things( I think this is a problem with most hotels). Noise carried too, thin walls.
The pool was completely brown for 2 days and we were not offered any complimentary anything or upgraded, in my opinion that could have made a difference. ( It would have been easy as there were plenty of rooms available) Customer satisfaction is top priority, hence better reviews and more clients in the future! Anyhow, the location was ok,easy to get songtaews ( ask them if you can to bring you into the reception area or you will walk from the main road each time). We ate out each meal, it was too expensive for those earning Thai Bhat! I think next time I would stay closer to Bang Bao area,seemed funky with choices of restaurants and Pai like atmosphere (laid back) as opposed to resort ville. The landscape was well thought out. Don't let rainy season bother you, not so bad!! Be aware of sand fleas and sea lice! Had a blast anyhow.

We had a villa which was good until a group of people checked in to the villa next door. Some of the villas are single buildings while some a like a dulplex with your patios next to each other. Unfortunately we got one of the connected villas. Check in was slow. The food in resturant was good but the mosquitos were quite bad. Breakfast was quite good with a decent selection. Not in the best location, but only a 1km or 2km ride to other resturants and supermarkets.

Great for the price. Stayed in a room on the lagoon. The rooms are a bit aging, but the resort is on a great beach. The service is relatively weak, with front desk having an attitude, trying to charge for items (coconut shell-made soap dispenser) cracked whereas it was already cracked on arrival!!! (the must try this regularly I guess). The breakfast is great and misses only cheese.

It was a cheap room for a resort on the beach and ofcourse it ment samething. .. overal great place to stay. Big aria. Nice sea side however beach is not perfectly clean but there is amazing sweeming pool. I really enjoy it and wanted to stay longer but they close swimming pool for a week.... beside i recomend this place.

Wonderful beach side location , white sands , palm trees and wonderful views. However we spent most of the time in the swimming pool which was sheltered clean and had a bar that served the most delicious smoothies and cocktails.The staff did everything to make our stay memorable including a surprise birthday cake for my husband.

We were given a room just in front of the restaurant and it was extremely noisy. Rooms are not isolated. The restaurant opens at 6am for breakfast and we were woken by the noise of the people going to the restaurant. The resort is nice and located in one of the most beautiful beaches of the island but the staff dosen't speak english at all. Even the receptionist speak very little english and they are not especially welcoming.

Very nice hotel on the beach.

We were very pleased with the hotel. It is located on a clean and fairly long beach that is not very busy. We stayed in one of several bungalows with view of the pool and the ocean. From the patio we had a nice view of a quiet lagoon. The grounds were nicely landscaped and well maintained. The included breakfasts were excellent and other food in the restaurant was very good as well. The staff was very helpful. We arrived after a bicycle tour and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at the hotel. Shopping and restaurants were within a reasonable walking distance.

Ever saw such a great potential waisted. We checked in and first thing in the morning we checked out. It is a front beach hotel, but the restaurants is far from the beach, the swimming pool has a bid rock wall that prevent u from seeing the beach. The rooms were so badly maintained. No Internet besides the lobby. There are so many better choices.

God service og ikke noget at sætte på personalet. Det var tip top. Der var rent og maden var fint. Dermed vil jeg sige det var slidt og trænger til en renovering. Brusedøren kunne ikke lukkes helt så der løb vand ud på gulvet. Det tog også lang tid inden der var varmt vand. Vores terrassedør kunne næsten ikke låses igen efter åbning. Lækker udsigt. Deres massage var udendørs. Hvis det er meget blæsende ikke så rart. Ellers ligger det dejligt lige på stranden

1.早朝担当している女性レセプションの対応が良くない。チェックインの際の女性レセプションはとてもきちんと対応してくださり良かったのですが。。。

2.Wi-Fi環境が良くない、特に夜は繋がりにくい。
3.せめて夜8時までプールエリアのライトアップをして欲しい。
4.マッサージ、売店、プール、全て6時で閉まるため、夜何もないのが残念。

Hotelli on upealla paikalla ja villoista on pääsy suoraan rantaan. Kiva, että on oma pikku kauppa, saa mm. vedet kantamatta niitä kaukaa. Respassa palvelu ei toiminut ja henkilökuntaa oli liian vähän eikä thai-tyyliin niin ystävällistä. Hotellin tasoa olisi helppo nostaa mm. tässä kohtaa. Aamiaisravintola - hyvä ja tosi monipuolinen ruoka mutta eri erityisen miellyttävä tunnelma. Siivous oli huipputasoa, samoin itse villa. Parasta oli myös ilmastoitu kuntosali, josta suora näkymä merelle, tosin kaikki laitteet eivät toimineet.

Excellent séjour sur une île paradisiaque!

Bon emplacement. très bon restaurant de l'hôtel, plages fabuleuse, Mini market dans l'enceinte du complexe...

Très bien dans l'ensemble, 2-3 détails perfectibles:

Clim vieillotte et bruyante, carrelage manquant au fond de la douche mais ce sont des détails!

Très bon rapport qualité-prix!

Всё в общем не плохо! Свой пляж, пологое дно! Номер нормальный с балконом! Серые полотенца, они уже старые, их надо менять! Приехали, вода в кране шла коричневая, потом ржавая и сегодня уезжаем, а вода всё ржавая.

On n 'est bien loin de l'accueil legendaire du pays du sourire , accueil froid et distant,c est la premiere fois parmi nos nombreux sejours en Thaïlande où aucun employé ne nous a accompagné jusqu'à notre chambre ,nous sommes retraités tous les deux et nous avons du porter nos deux lourdes valises ,alors que l 'hotel dispose de voiturettes electriques , nous avons du monter nos valises â l'etage et nous débrouiller seuls .

Eviter les chambres standart où les toutes les chambres donnent sur un seul et unique palier ,,,aucune intimité ,tout les autres vacanciers passent devant votre porte et fenêtre,,,,

Le petit dejeuner etait parfait et pour tous les goûts ,le personnel de la restauration etait souriant ,efficace et professionnel ....Parfait ! ,
Sinon le complexe hotelier est tres bien situé ,très bien entretenu et au calme , la plus belle plage que l'on a vu sur Kho Chang .

Flott resort, ligger helt på stranden. Ikke bestill standard rom, de er slitt og utdatert. Frokost ok, men frokostsalen er slitt. God mat og god service i restauranten!

Flott resort - men ikke velg standardrommene

Standard-rommene er i elendig forfatning. Mer som 2 stjerner. Vi flyttet til villa etter en natt, og de er flott!
Basseng og strand er super! God mat og hyggelig betjening i restauranten :)

Dock skulle det vara upplyst vid pool kvällstid å servera lite dricka kunde va ett mysigt häng.. ett tips t resorten annars topp på allt💕 besök Kambodjas scool child
Care behöver er! Ligger precis 1 km fr resorten.

お風呂が臭かった。
ベッドのマットレスが柔らかすぎで、背中が痛くなった
ベランダにでると臭いので、ベランダには出れない
ベッドに虫がいる、前回もだが、家族全員虫さされた、ホテルの経営者は、全部のベッドを消毒したほうが良いと思う。

従業員の対応はフレンドリーで良かった

Nästan fyra stjärnor

Ett helt ok hotell men som är i behov av en renovering men det är städat och fint. Rummen saknar upphängnig för kläder några krokar på väggen skulle räcka. Sängen var fantastiskt skön och inte alls hård som den annars kan vara i Thailand. Ett fantastiskt bra polområde samt strand i anslutning. Lätt att ta sig in till wsb. Prova gärna massagen den var fantastisk. Vi är nöjda med vår vistelse och framförallt personalen som var hjälpsamma och trevliga.

Fremragende resort

Dejligt hotel placeret lige til havet med lækker sandstrand og smukke solnedgange. Poolen er også placeret tæt på havet så man kan nemt gå fra det ene til det andet. Ved poolen er der desuden poolbar som dog ikke er noget særligt. Stedet har desuden minimarked med forskellige drikkevarer, is, snacks mm. Derudover er der en lækker restaurant placeret lige ned til vandet. desværre er der også nogen ting som ikke var helt optimale - værelserne virkede slidte og gamle og meget af personalet på stedet havde begrænset engelsk

Добрый день! Хочу поделиться хорошими впечатлениями об отеле Klong prao resort отличный отель для любого возраста, чистые номера, полноценные завтраки, хорошее обслуживание, приятный персонал. На территории отеля озеро с рыбками, на пляже полный Релакс,чистый песок , прозрачная вода есть ресторанчик и магазин нам очень понравилось это райское местечко!!!
