Nice location and scenery on a good beach with clean water, however no towels at the beach only located at the reception, no room cleaning unless you leave your only key to reception, limited service at hotel as reception closes at 10pm, you would be in trouble if locked key in room as no one in hotel would be able to help. Breakfast is very limited with basic items not available on most days, like slice bread or even tea bags, Staff at breakfast had an unhelpful attitude if you ask for any basic breakfast food like boiled eggs or wholemeal bread, the answer was always not available!!!

The resort grounds including the beach are stunning! Staff is very friendly and breakfast buffet was good. Room itself was fairly outdated especially the bathroom. Mattresses were extremly hard.

Beautiful resort right by the beach. All staff are wonderful. The restaurant in this resort has good food and drinks. I love the swim-up bar with the beautiful view to the ocean. Their breakfast buffeet was great. I love how they changes their breakfast food eveey day so you dont eat the same thing all the time. All food was delicious!! Will definitely recommend this resort to family and friends.

The hotel itself is nice. Value for money. The bed is very hard and the breakfast is terrible. Not the best location either.

The overall property as well as it's proximity to the beach was wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful as well. What I didn't like was the room. I understand that they have many different options available and mine might of been at the lower end of the spectrum. However, the online pictures did not depict how old and antiquated the room/furniture was. Additionally, the \"hot water\" was lukewarm at best and there was a steady stream of ants marching through the room.

Overall good staff, great beer, food and massage prices. Beds were too firm and the beach area has a lot of shells from the trade winds blowing. If not careful your children will cut their feet.

Really lovely place
Grand villas are still new and clean. Great bathroom, outside area meters from sea, mostly peace and quiet, extensive breakfast buffet (emphasis on Asian food), beautiful and well kept grounds.
Restaurant in evening is a bit of a let down if you like Thai food though - they do bland 'tourist' versions even if you ask for spicy.

Hotel is large area and well landscaped.
I found the hotel to be very good. The breakfast was inclusive and very good for Thai style breakfast. The staff were courteous and polite. The only downside was to get a sunbed, you have to place your towel first thing to effectively book the sunbed for the day. Could do with some more rubbish bins at the beach area.

Good beach side location although the sun sets earlier here than the rest of the beach the resort is on due to a hill.

Hotel has great green are and semi-private beach. But ocean view room is pretty basic and bed is very hard. Breakfast wasn't good too.

Our stay on Koh Chang and at Chai Chet was wonderful and relaxing. Our room had a good bed, great air con, and the proximity to the great beach was perfect. We lounged by the great pool, enjoyed the restaurant and the lovely staff who helped us learn Thai and Cambodian. Chamroen and his wife, Lek, were particularly sweet and we left with new friends. I read reviews complaining about the breakfast, which surprises me. Our group of six all enjoyed our breakfast each morning. Très grand resort avec différents standings. Très joli site, propre, fleurie et superbes vues. Notre chambre à 45 euros la nuit pdj inclus. 5 nuits passées. Chambre bas de gamme du resort. Mal insonorisée, réfrigérateur bruyant, coffre fort HS (signalé, mais sans réaction) TV présente, mais pas de chaînes (normal selon la réception pour cette chambre) et 1 seule table de nuit, j'ai du matériel médical pour dormir et ça a été compliqué. Normal selon la réception !
Aucune possibilité d'étendre le moindre maillot de bain, rien n'est prévu. Grand lit confortable. Chambre refaite sur demande. Petit déjeuner buffet, correct pour le prix, avec d'excellents Plats thaï.
Très bel espace piscine, PH et chlore mal dosés (constat le 13/02) irritation des yeux et de la peau conséquente. Pas retourné depuis.

Stort opersonligt resort. Men helt okej, fräsch bungalow. Fint grönska runt hotellet och mellan bungalowsen. Då det ligger i ena delen av en bukt hördes tyvärr all musik från övriga stranden upp till rummet när jag skulle sova vilket störde.

Das Chai Chet Resort ist ein tolles Hotel, welches von einer thailändischen Familie geführt wird. Das dort tätige Personal ist mega freundlich, hilfsbereit und hält die Anlage top sauber. Wir hatten eine Hillside Villa mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer. Wir würden das Resort jederzeit wieder buchen.

Beachvilla boendet har perfekt läge men standarden på rummet är väldigt enkelt. De varma rätterna på frukosten var tyvärr kalla annars är frukosten ok. Dock finns ej bacon. Poolområdet är fint ocj poolen är stor. Kunde gärna funnits fler solstolar på stranden. Sammanfattning- ett prisvärt enkelt hotell med härligt läge på stranden.

We stayed in a Beach Villa. Very nice. Ambitous staff. All repairs done immediately. But like most resorts in Koh Chang, they need to be modernized and improved. What we did not like was the restaurant. We do not eat from plastic dishes... NoGo...

Ett bättre medelklass hotell med fin strand och stor pool med tillhörande bar. Att simma fram till baren och beställa dryck uppskattade vi. Vi reste två par och tyckte det var ett jättebra hotell. Rummen var bra, men lyhörda. Bekväma sängar och städningen fick man om man lämnade in sin nyckel innan kl. 14, vi kunde med andra ord välja vilket vi tyckte var bra.
Bäst av allt var dock personalen. Supertrevliga och väldigt serviceinriktade. Om vi åker tillbaka till Koh Chang kommer vi med största sannolikhet att bo här igen.

Bra & fin strandvilla med utsikt över havet. Bra frukost, jättetrevlig och serviceminded personal. Chris i poolbar/serveringen, ger vi extra plus till.
Solstolarna skulle behöva dynor, då de är väldigt hårda. Lite dåligt tryck i duschen. Annars allt kanon, vi kommer gärna tillbaka

Prisvärt och bra hotell. Efter nio dagar i en Grand villa finns det inget att klaga på när det gäller boendet. Restaurangen är också bra med lägsta ölpriset på stranden, kanske lite rörigt med service kvällstid... Det enda att klaga på är att det är för få solstolar på stranden och att de bokas redan vid sju tiden.
