The proper is in a bad shape. The tiles on the floor is broken and then the bathroom most of the stuff is not working. The staff is OK and the location is very far from the city. The beaches is dirty a lot of rocks and there’s not suitable.

The location of the hotel was magical especially the pool and the Sea View , best sunset ever .
The room need too much Renovation specially the bathroom.
Food at the breakfast and the dinner wasn’t as good as a 5 star hotel 👎
There was no menu for the room service in the room so u have to order the menu first 😅
My Last night was the worst ever , the temperature of the room was around 30 C
I couldn’t sleep from the heat and the AC isn’t working so i called the front desk and he sent me the technician of the hotel , when he arrived he told me sorry i can’t do anything because all the AC in the hotel are switched to heat mode !!! So if u need to cool down the room u can open the door of the balcony !!!! A very decent service and response from someone working in a 5 star hotel .

Basically the Staff wasn't very helpful.. Room and Bed just Ok.. Dining just Ok although we had one Great experience because of Arah (think spelt it right).. She made aus a special dinner and said she wants to make people happy.. She did for that time.. Staff should speak better English and be more helpful!!

The stay began with the rooms not being as described and smelling. Upon complaining we were asked to pay for an upgrade for additional 50% cost. As it was late we were forced to accept. On checkout we asked to speak with the general manager or guest relations and were told they were not available. I have been a gold member of hotels.com and regularly travel internationally staying in numerous hotel but I have never received such bad service from a reputable 5 star hotel. this hotel prides itself on its historical reputation which no longer exists.

Hotel good location looks amazing from outside and reception however we was given one of the old rooms which had a tiled floor that had dirt all over it , so I went to enquire and was given another room that has apparently been refurbished but this was at extra cost which did not please me as the first room is not fit for purpose , breakfast was average due t o freshness and staff were really friendly. The hotel really need to returb the rest of the rooms as once I got the Carpited room you could walk on this not the old tiled floor. The view was amazing pool and the sea 10 out of 10

First room smelled like cigarettes, we switched to another one that was not ready to receive guests, the air conditioner was not working, i think it was not fully installed it was barely turned on. We asked to change room for the third time but all rooms on the floor lack air conditioning and ventilation.
Food at the hotel was terrible could not eat the meat, only bread and it was expensive, service was bad.
Cheap night clubs, cheap lounges and cheap visitors were loud all night.

Movenpik Tangier disappointment

I've been to a few Movenpiks and have loved them, but this one was a disappointment in that the room furniture had burn marks on them, lights were broken, walls were extremely thin we could hear every word of our neighbor, and concierge gave us inaccurate information about the ferry schedule. Pool was gorgeous but not heated so not useable. Buffet food was not good and did not taste fresh. Staff were nice, but this facility did not meet my 5 star expectation. Also no signature movenpik ice cream was on site.

I was very disappointed with the service. Poor front desk customer service. We waited 3 hours at the front desk. The rooms are so outdated and the toilet was not flushing properly. The room cleaning service is absolutely insane—they’re always behind and late. They show up at 8pm one night.
On a positive note, I must say that the hotel is in a good location, the pool was amazing and the morning breakfast was very good.

I truly believe that this particular local is not reflective of the Mövenpick name and certainly doesn’t mirror or deserve a 5* accreditation. You should truly reconsider the management style, the lack of sufficient employees and detail in every room. We reserved 3 non smoking rooms and none were up to standard (from dirt to broken items, to smoke smell on blankets and pillows to cigarette burn marks on furniture to no air conditioning to no towels in the bathroom, no iron or hair dryer,.....the list is a lot longer). We spend our first day waiting for the electrician, technician and handyman to complete their work in our rooms. We couldn’t even get someone to clean the filth in the bathroom since the cleaning crew leaves at 5:00 pm. It was unbelievable to us that there’s no cleaning crew available in the hotel 24 hours a day. I’m very sorry to say that this location has stained the Mövenpick name in our view!

Terribly managed hotel. This is a 3 star local Moroccan hotel, not a 5-star international hotel. Facilities are in complete disrepair. Most of the staff is sullen and do not take any pride in their work (or their clothing). Broken things in room too numerous to list, including telephone, toilet flush, power outlets etc. General Manager Alain Rillof manages the place very poorly and thinks he is above responding to customers.
Stay here is you are looking for an average 3 or 4 star local hotel. But this is nowhere near a 5 star hotel and is a stain on Movenpicks worldwide.

The pool was drained so not available which was a bit disappointing which is why my condition rating is not very good and the hotel was a little far from where we spent most of our time. On the plus side the traditional Moroccan restaurant was a great value and was some of the best food we had and the live traditional music was great!

The staff were friendly, but other than that this property was a complete mess. There were no towels in the room, so we had to ask for some. There was incessant noise - hammering, drilling, and other maintenance sounds - throughout the day so it wasn't relaxing. The room service didn't have 80% of the food available. Getting anything - an iron, some towels, sandwiches - took forever. The rooms are badly dated and in need of a complete renovation. The breakfast is ok, but the coffeemaker was half broken. Overall, not the best experience.

Nao foi a experiência 5 estrelas prometida. Hotel depredado, decadente necessitando manutenções urgente. Frigobar não funcionava, ar condicionado não funcionava. Colchao velho, Televisão antiga com poucos canais. Banheiro com cheiro de mofo. Chuveiro com vazamentos. Parede com infiltração. Pedi Room Service e a mesa da qual foi entregue a comida desabou e toda comida e louça caiu no chão. No check out ainda me cobram a comida e se recusam a desfazer a cobrança. Experiência terrível. Não recomendo a ninguém. O hotel só se encontra aberto pois é frequentado por excursões de Chineses.

Excellent séjour.
Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et soucieux du bon déroulement de notre séjour.
Quotidiennement sont à disposition des bouteilles d'eau,des pommes et le thé à la menthe dans le hall de l' hôtel.
Là salle de sport est très bien équipée,vous pouvez bénéficier du sauna et jacuzzi ,ce qui est appréciable après l effort !!
Les chambres sont spacieuses,propres et bien équipées. Le wifi est excellent.
Le seul bémol et point négatif à prendre en considération : aucune chaîne française à la TV 😡
Je recommande à 💯 cet établissement et personnellement je compte bien y retourner très prochainement.

En arrivant dans ma chambre j’ai trouver des taches de café sur le sol au bout de mon séjour de 6 jours elle y était les vitres était rempli de tasse les draps était très rigide le sol jamais fait très très déçu . Le petit déjeuner pas assez vavirier arriver à 10h30 on viens nous voir pour nous dire en gros que c’est Fini . Piscine je n’ai jamais croisé un serveur au bord de la piscine pour se rafraîchir dommage .
A l’accueil j’ai demander à un des portiers comment se rendre à Chefchaouen il a pris son téléphone il a appeler un taxie de son portable qui m’a passer et il me dit si vous le souhaiter je vous emmène à Chefchaouen pour un aller retour à 1450 DAM j’etait choquer . C’est de l’escroquerie ! Voilà mon séjour pas top malheureusement . J’ai trouver que l’ambiance et l’atmosphère dans l’hôtel était assez triste aucune ambiance

I would not recommend anyone to book this hotel. It does not even deserve 5 stars, it gives a feeling of 2-3 stars maximum.
The food (breakfast & bufé) had no variety, it was served same food every day. Sometimes it wasn’t even fresh.
You were not allowed to order food from another restaurant/cafe at night, they asked us to hide everything in a big bag when delivered.
The pool bar we’re closed so you couldn’t order anything if you didn’t walk in to the restaurant . The prices of the restaurant were twice as expensive as the good restaurants outside the hotel.
We did not have a safety box in the room, and the employees entered our room twice without our permission to “control the room” without knocking. Not safe at all! We had to take our valuable things with us out every day.
I have travelled around the world and been to plenty 5 stars hotels, the standard of this hotel was by far the worst I've ever experienced.

Le personnel est gentil mais peu qualifié pour un 5 étoile du groupe accor!!!! Les prestations sont médiocres notamment dans la chambre moisissure dans la salle de bain, toile d’araignée, pas d’équipement dans le balcon, joints se décollent …Le petit dej assez limité et les viennoiseries 1 jour sur 2 sont secs voir rassis! Le jus d’orange est fait maison à souligner! Ainsi que la piscine et le jardin sont bien entretenu. Et bien sûr contrairement à ce que laisse suggères les photos la plage n’est pas privée et non surveillée!!

Le personnel de la direction est incompetent car ils nous ont prive du buffet du diner en plein ramadan en raison quand on a reserve avec booking et pas avec l'hotel et ils nous ont offert un plat pour le petit dejeuner pour le shour.
En plus le lit de bebe qu'ils nous ont donne est inadapte pour les bebes.
C'est un hotel de categorie 3 etoiles.
