The building looks old from outside - reminds me of an old factory or hospital and seems that the other half is shared with another company. Inside looks fine! There is a very small lobby. We got a room for 3 adults on the 4th floor. The lift is small, enough to fit 3 with small luggages. We had a spacious room with a large bed and a single bed. Interior is clean. Bathroom is quite small. The bathtub doesn't come with a bath mat, so it can be slippery. The shower head is small and water pressure is low - not the best shower I've had, and water leaks to the floor outside the tub. TV is stuck to the wall and cannot be adjusted - we weren't able to access the HDMI port to plug in our Google chromecast, but luckily they have a channel with original audio, in English. The receptionist are friendly and helpful. They helped get my mom into the small lift (for the disabled) down the staircase. However I didn't see one on the back side going to the parking. Was only a few steps down she could manage. Access to the mall was also good! Love that it's in a quiet and clean part of Paris. Definitely will be back in the future.

Excellent welcome on arrival. Modern and clean hotel and rooms. Excellent location on the outskirts of Versailles, but taxi rank outside and bus stop within 2 minutes walk. Westfield offers many good options and across the road. Only suggestion would be to add English language channels!

Very nice! We didn't try the breakfast/restaurant but the Parly 2 shopping centre nextdoor was very convenient as was the #1 and 2 busses into the centre of Versailles. We would stay here again!

It was great for the price but you get what you pay for. We originally had 2 nights booked. We found a better hotel in the area for the second night. It has free breakfast and parking if there is space. the hotel needs a good cleaning and really needs to be updated. I love the mall parly 2 is right next to it.

A little run down but staff were friendly and welcoming, the building is being refurbished, no work at the weekend. An issue which should have been made clear no bar facilities during the weekend, however there is a shopping centre with restaurants available. The room was a little dated but clean and useable, spent one night there not sure I would like to spend longer?

We stayed a couple of nights here for a visit to the Palace of Versailles, which is only a short taxi ride away. Nice clean rooms, which looked to be very recently refurbished, and a great breakfast to set us up for the day. Slightly limited for restaurants if you are looking for something within walking distance. We ended up in the shopping mall next door.

The night porter (we arrived late evening) was not welcoming, he was actually smoking out the front when we pull up outside, he didn’t say hello or where the parking was.
Shower leaked on the floor, wall paper was falling of the walls in the corridor, sockets by the bed didn’t work, cracks in the wall/ceiling joints. Generally needs updating and properly maintaining. Toilet need turning round so your not facing the wall 2foot I front of your face.
All other staff were very helpful. Room was good with blackout curtains and fridge.

It was a worse experience. After 5 hours driving arrive at 2:10 in the morning on 20/5 when we open the triple room door then find someone sleep inside. Back to the reception after one hour we finally get 2 rooms for sleeping. We would like to talk to the manager when we have breakfast but the staff just says you have got 2 rooms already then nothing else. How can we get compensation,make up or apology after paid? I can't understand the respond from a 4 star hotel named as Mercure.

Hotel was tired. Needs some tlc to decorating of rooms, bar area,reception. Staff very good. Surprisingly breakfast was also good. We had done a driving holiday down through France and back and stayed in lots of hotels and this was the worst from a kerb appeal aspect. But location was very good with a huge shopping centre opposite and train station up the road to go into central Paris. Close to Versailles also. Hotel has its own large car park that was free to guests. If like us you just needed a bed and breakfast then it was fine and good value

We used this hotel as a close gateway to Paris, as we had to drop off our hire car by 12.00 the next day. It served it's purpose adequately. Room was large by European standards, although comfortable it could do with an update. Versailles was only 3.7kms away.

Absolutely easy parking, unbelievable for the Paris area, easy checkin, great room with excellent wifi, shower pressure, comfortable bed, good AC. Toilet was behind the door in the bathroom and kind of snug getting in. Breakfast was ok-scrambled eggs tasted kind of weird, had yogurts, juices, cereals. I would never pay 17 euros for this breakfast. If it is included with your hotel deal, go for it.

The Italian restaraunt which was recommended was across the street in the mall. It was so good we ate there both nights.

The bus to Versailles is within one block of the hotel. It takes about 15 minutes on the bus to get to Versailles. Make sure you go in the front of the bus and pay the bus driver your fare. The back of the bus is for those with passes.

Overall great stay. It was unfortunate that as we were leaving the cleaning lady walked down the hall yelling in French. We had no idea what she was saying. Maybe she had just cleaned a nasty room, but it did not compare with the concern and friendliness of the front desk staff. Would definitely recommend this to friends. If you are going to the LDS temple this is a good choice.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at the Mercure Versailles Parly 2. The rooms we were allocated were newly decorated, fresh and clean. The staff are very friendly and the lady on reception speaks very good English (fortunate for us). This Hotel is in a great location and we would definitely stay again.The Parly 2 shopping centre is within walking distance of the hotel and we enjoyed a few good meals there. We enjoyed some good meals at the Italian Del Aire where they gave us 5% off the bill when they realised we were staying at the Mercure Hotel. We bought sandwiches and water in the Simply Market Parly 2 opposite the Italian Restaurant which saved us a lot of money when sight seeing in Paris. The H bus that stops just outside the hotel stops near the Palace of Versailles and the Versailles Rive Gauche train station that travels into Paris.

Good for one night stay.

Good hotel, but only for one night. There was a ugly smell, like mold in the carpet. The room we got was smoke free, however the staff smokes right in front so when we open the window all their cigarette smell went into our room. Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was over priced. The discount at the Del Arte Pizza was nice, we received 20% off our bill.

Quiet hotel close to Versailles

The hotel was about 5 miles from Versailles and well priced for the area. It had a restaurant onsite and a mall just around the corner. The pizzeria, located at the mall, offered a 20% discount for hotel guests. There was also onsite parking. The rooms were nice and included a fridge. There were a few tv channels in English, as well. The front desk staff was very nice and provided suggestions regarding local restaurants and directions to Paris. The front desk staff also spoke English. I would stay at this hotel again.

Definitely not a four star hotel

This hotel is definitely not a four star hotel. Facilities are very basic and even some of the 2 star hotels I have stayed in France are far better. The lounge area is very small, and the room deco are very dated. The bathroom has the most scratched bath I have ever seen. There is no in restaurant in the hotel and breakfast is expensive (15 euros per person).

The only staff I met during my one night stay was the lady at the check-in desk. She is very warm and pleasant, which is pretty much the only good thing about the hotel.

Good hotel near Versailles (not quite there)

The hotel is at a terrific price is you want to stay near (10 min by car) of Versailles. It is a bit outdated in terms of furnishings including the lobby, but at this price it doesn't matter much. Near a very nice shopping mall, so that is a plus.

Refresh needed

The hotel is close to a large shopping mall and not far off the highway. Once checked in we went to our room which was just cleaned but had what I thought was an old smoky odor masked by a fragrance. I opened the window and went to the mall for about an hour. Upon returning to the room the was a distinct smell of cigarette smoke. I went down to the front desk and asked if all the rooms are smoke free explaining that the room had a distinct smoke odor the lady at the desk admitted that there's a problem with guests smoking in the rooms and promptly offered to check another room and move us. I went into the other room to verify that there was no odor prior to moving and there was not so we moved over. The funny thing was that it was the only room that I noticed on the floor with a No Smoking sign affixed to the door. The bathroom was very dated in comparison with the first room. The carpet which was a beige / peach in color was noticeably stained throughout the room. There was veneer missing from parts of the furniture where pressed board was visible. There also seemed to be a drainage issue. Over the course of the stay I had to use a towel to block out a light sewage type odor coming from the bathroom. I didn't address anything other than the smoke with the front desk because it just seemed that most rooms would be in similar condition and that the hotel room is well overdue for a renovation. Besides it was being used for a place to rest after a day of sightseeing.

We needed a hotel that we could drive to easily and use as a base. Two rooms, one for us and one for the kids next door, utilising a double and single beds. It has a fairly empty car park (August) and is a 2 min walk from a large indoor shopping mall and restaurants. Drive to Central Paris was only 10mins and traffic was fluid every day. Bed was a tad too firm. Didn't use breakfast as this was mainly continental and expensive. (16Eur each) flaky paint in bath and bathroom but cleanliness good. Overall I would return for a short trip if going again.

Great staff, great attitude!

This is a pleasant hotel, well situated not far from Chateau de Versailles, and a walking distance from a big shopping center. You'll enjoy there all the amenities expected from a hotel in its mid-range category, but what makes it special is the friendliness and efficiency of the whole team, from the manager to the breakfast waiters. If lots of American tourists complain about the \"attitude\" they notice in some French hotels, I'm very glad to give this hotel an A for their welcoming smile, patient guidance and useful information when requested, and overall \"bonne humeur\" even late in the evening or facing unexpected problems (which they readily solved without complain).

Very convenient

A really convenient location, being very close to a bus stop for Versailles centre, the rail station and the Palais. The large free car park was very good with easy access to the hotel lift. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, most of them speaking English. Two negatives, firstly the beds were too firm for us and secondly the food available during the day was mainly microwaveable snacks.

Perfect for our visit to the Palace of Versailles

I liked the convenience to Versailles, the shopping center and the parking. The bad news is that the hotel is a little run down. The bathrooms are old and not in good condition. The pipes are sticking out of the walls and it smells funky. Otherwise the hotel was a good location.

Stayed at the hotel on a short break visiting Versailles, on arrival and throughout the stay the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful always having the time and patience to answer questions and give assistance.
The room was clean, tidy and in excellent condition although one of the plug sockets didn't work so could either have light that side of the room or use the kettle, not a major issue.
If I had to find a fault with the hotel it would be they are very sparing with the drinks in the rooms only one tea bag and two pots of milk, every day had to ask for more but again a relatively minor issue.
Found it quite surprising that although room service was available there was no restaurant on site, although there is a great restaurant just across the road in the Parly2 where you get 20% discount if you are staying at the hotel.
Great location if you have a car, don't know about public transport.
All in all would greatly recommend this hotel.

We stayed off Paris center and hoped to get a bettter and larger room. But it's very disappointing. The hotel is old and tired. Some bathroom fixtures are broken, not to mention the small room. Location is noisy and not easy tog et too. Breakfast is not great either. Considering this is French hotel, at least food should be much bettter.

Long ways from chateau of Versailles

This hotel was far from sites and required us to take a bus to get to the train statiion to get into Paris. However the staff was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation. They allowed us to leave our vehicle in their secured parking and closeted our luggage after we'd checked out. We'd gladly stay in their clean, modern, and pleasant facility again.

The bathroom was old and in need of repair. The water was brown. The room was dirty and dusty. When we complained the reception staff was more concerned with if we had moved things he couldn't help. He sent a member of staff to our room with us and on inspecting it we were told to pack up our things and meet him at reception to collect a new room key. We had quite a lot of luggage, We were then moved to the room next door. I think they were just being difficult. Breakfast was ok but we didn't manage to get the hot drinks we ordered, no milk even when requested and hot chocolate was cold. They vaccumed the area up to the breakfast room every morning while we were eating. Poor for a Mercure hotel.

Good two nights

We Stayed at this hotel to visit Versailles. It was easy to get to, less than ten minute taxi drive from the Versailles rive gauche train station. After drooping off our bags we took the B/H bus back into Versailles. Breakfast was included and was good. (eggs, sausage, croissants, yogurt, etc). There was also organic section. The room had a fridge and complimentary snacks in a travel backpack. Much better than our 3* Paris hotel.

We went to Versailles to visit the Castle. I thought that the hotel was much closer than it was to the palace. So it was a bit of a shock to discover how far away it was. Once we found a local bus that went there it was much easier to get to.

Rooms are clewn but bathrooms are small wc is placed in a wierd diagonal way and most importany the Bed is terrible super hard matrass not comfortable et all. The other small things that dont make this a 4 star et all. Maybe a 3 star

Hôtel qui a besoin d'une bonne rénovation des chambres et des extérieurs. C'est défraîchit, sans personnalité.
- Climatisation qui ne fonctionne pas
- Abord du parking non entretenu cassé, peu agréable
- Entrée de l'hôtel en mobilier Gifi chinois pas cher. Plantes et pot peu accueillant.
n'est pas du tout au standing d'un 4 étoiles, un simple IBis est beaucoup mieux.

Le personnel est efficace et chaleureux et les chambres de bonnes tailles . Endroit parfait pour 2 ou 3 jours

Ne vaut pas la peine

Des frais supplémentaires sur la taxe de sejour nous ont été facturés sur place, alors que ce n'était pas marqué nulle part lors de la réservation. Nous avions payé la totalité du prix affiché pour la chambre sur la plate-forme. (Normalment quand la taxe de séjour reste a payer sur place c'est indiqué mais ici ce n'étant pas le cas. Je réserve une centaine de nuits par an via cette application et c'est la première fois que cela m'arrive).
Nous avons essayé d'expliquer la situation au jeune homme de l'accueil qui de manière grossière sans nous écouter ni nous laisser parler nous a dit que c'était comme ça et c'est tout. Aucune explication ou aide pour chercher une solution a été proposée. Il s'est limité a nous dire que l'on avait pas le choix et qu'il n'allait pas nous donner la chambre si on ne lui payé pas avant cette taxe. Donc accueil pas de tout sympathique pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. En plus c'était plus de 22h... on s'attend pas de tout à ce type d'accueil après une journée chargée où on veut seulement arriver et se reposer.
Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel. Trop cher pour ce qui est.
Nous ne retournerons pas.
Nous leur conseillons de mieux former leur personnel d'accueil, car service client nul.

Hotel confortable, mais la t° de la chambre était mal réglée (trop chaud la nuit) sans autre possibilité que d'ouvrir la fenêtre (bruit de la rue passante). L'hotel n'y peut rien mais les taxes de séjours sont exhorbitantes (8€pp et par nuit!)
