The hotel’s facilities are outdated, and the elevators are excessively small. We had reserved two rooms, but one of them lacked heating and the toilet was not operational. Despite several complaints, the hotel staff attempted to accommodate my family in a significantly smaller room two days later. The food was exceptional, but unfortunately, the other services did not meet my expectations.

We absolutely loved our stay. After staying at a few other accommodations in Paris, we were so relieved to find a hotel with large rooms and a bathtub! After days of walking around Europe, a nice tub soak was so appreciated. The property was incredible, we ate at the Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and while pricey, was definitely worth it. We will definitely be staying here our next trip to Paris.

Expedia lists the Waldorf Astoria Versailles as a single entity, but in reality, it comprises two adjacent hotels—a 5-star and a 4-star—an important distinction that isn't immediately clear. Upon arrival, we discovered that our reservation was for the 4-star hotel. Our choice was driven by the proximity to Versailles and, crucially, the availability of parking for our rental vehicle. While the staff were generally friendly and the meals in the restaurant were pleasant, our overall experience was significantly marred by what felt like a lack of attention and care for guests staying in the 4-star hotel.

The most glaring issue was the room temperature. Despite it being early November, our room was uncomfortably hot, and we learned that the air conditioning had been turned off for the season. When we contacted the concierge, their only suggestion was to open a window. We did so, as the room was otherwise too warm to sleep in. Unfortunately, this led to a night marred by mosquito bites, with both my partner and I waking up with over 30 bites each, transforming what could have been a mediocre stay into a distinctly unpleasant one.

Given this experience, I regret to say that I would not choose to stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the in-room dining options. The property is situated in a lovely area, perfect for a quick stroll or run. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay.
However, considering the cost of the stay, it would have been nice to have complimentary drinks and snacks included.

Stayed in the palace after accidentally booking the pavilion (which is the same as the annex - confusing room listings). Was not very full in late August so they were able to upgrade (for a fee) to the room I should have booked to start with. The annex building has large rooms from our few minutes in one but the whole building smells musty. The older building is more expensive but nicer and the rooms are still large. Service was very quick bringing bags and room service. The rooms are a bit older but relatively well maintained and nicely appointed. Easy walk to Versailles - it’s literally across the street to enter the gardens.

Only thing we didn’t like is the pool has a weird rule that everyone must be in bathing attire, even if you’re not swimming and just there to supervise a kid. I thought that was a little intrusive but apparently wearing a bathrobe was acceptable, half expected the lady supervising the pool to insist on looking underneath. Made one of the reasons I picked the spot (pool for my child) a bit of a weird vibe instead of the perk I was looking for.

We stayed one night as we intended to visit the Versailles and Mary Antionette palaces. The staff helped us get tickets at short notice.

Property is well situated if you are visiting the gardens and the palaces. We stayed in the Pavillion part of the hotel which was very good. The Palace part is 5 star and much nicer. However for ine night we were very happy with our choice. Breakfast was included and the buffet breakfast was very good and was supplemented with a choice of egg dishes which you ordered from the menu. Comfortable bed and bathroom facility.

The hotel had two restaurants but we did not eat there because of shortage of time but both looked very nice. One was a Gordon Ramsey restaurant where you needed advance reservation and looked very nice from the outside.

I wish the Hilton had made the rooms more pretty, not so modern with mirrors facing the beds and the ugly cabinet doors. It’s such a beautiful and historical palace. However it’s a beautiful place and I will absolutely be returning again the service and everyone working there was very kind and it was very clean.

Compared to other Waldorf properties we have stayed at this one was underwhelming. The outside of the property was beautiful and location great. The room and inside of the hotel was not quite up to standards as just seemed worn down. Room and bedding was a plus as both were roomy. The Gordon Ramsey restaurant was a highlight of our stay and highly recommend during the stay. The service as always at Waldorf was fantastic and enjoyed our stay

Beautiful hotel, perfect location in the heart of Versailles adjacent to the palace. The staff was wonderful...can't say enough about them. Our room was nice, spotless, and the view of the garden beautiful! Negatives: small tear in the carpet, dark bathroom lighting, needs better air circulation especially after using the shower. That said, we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Checked in late having travelled most of the day to be told breakfast finishes at 1030. Arrived at breakfast at 1020 to be seated in the ‘walkway’ due to the main restaurant being set up for lunch (1230) and a lot of the food not being replenished! Even after telling the reception staff of this and our first impressions being awful no apology received and a shrug of the shoulders!
Room was tired and bed for daughter which should have been a double was a single.
The spa area was closed and although we were advised a couple of days before hand it staggered me that they would do this over a busy Easter period. This isn’t and wasn’t a 5 star experience which was in complete contrast to the hotel we stayed in zermatt. Celebrating my wife’s 50th which although I mentioned upon booking was never recognized throughout our stay.

The roof was stuffy and the \"Air conditioner\" wasn't cooling at all. Loud noises until the wee hours of the night from tennis courts. The staff were ok, but the clientele were self important and snoody. The hotel is on the outskirts of the palace so the pictures do not replicate anything you see.

This property has two hotels - a 5 star which is in the main historic building and a 4 star which is next door and more of a conference look - ensure you are booking the one you are intended to stay in. It is misleading when you book through Expedia.

Good location if you are visiting the Palace of Versailles. You can walk right to the property from the garden gates.

We have been blessed to stay at many luxury properties around the world and we feel the Waldorf Versailles is right up there with the best!
We are so happy we chose to stay in Versailles as opposed to Paris on our first trip to France. Nestled in the beautiful French countryside, the quaint and quiet beauty of this location is mesmerizing. The Waldorf Astoria is located on the edge of the Versailles palace and only a short trip to Paris.
The staff at Waldorf is exceptional. Catering to Amy request quickly and with a smile!
The old world charm and elegance of the hotel speaks for itself. The cost of the rooms per night are far more palatable than the 5 star hotels in Paris.

This is a magnificent property. In fact, it is hard to imagine a hotel more magnificent as it is literally right at the entrance to the palace of Versailles. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds amazing and it is ideally situated. The rooms are nice but not great, somewhat small. Also, the doors in the annex at least are built in such a way as to make them slam shut which resulted in our hearing doors slamming shut all night long.

We appreciate the hospitality of the front desk reception when we arrived early. Our experienced with our stay was great except for the dining experience we had. By the way the food was great and the waiters were good overall except the one staff who seated us at our table. There were 3 tables available for two at that time, two in the middle & one by the window. She seated us at one of the middle table that we felt uncomfortable, so we asked to be moved by the window table for two, she said she will get back to us about that & she never did & never followed up on us. Then 2 guests came she also ushered them in the table for two in the middle but then they refused to seat and ask for a table by the window and immediately without hesitation she granted their request and totally ignored our first request. We are very disappointed by unjust & somewhat racist to us. On our way out I told her you never came back to follow up on us. We travel a lot and stayed in most of the best hotels out there and this is by far the worst service we’ve experience We we’re not treated fairly at this dining experience and ask the manager to address this issue with this particular individual.

Outstanding hotel! Beautiful, elegant, comfortable, clean. Always smells so fragrant. (How do they do that?!) Right next to extensive Versailles fields and forests that are free access and incredibly beautiful and relaxing to walk through. Amazing!
A few blocks from lovely town of Versailles and the Chateau. We loved this hotel and were sad to leave! We will definitely be back.

The hotel is simply charming. The building is beautiful and our room was clean and spacious. The hotel provides an easy access to Versalles, and one can buy tickets at the concierge stand. The only downside is the food at Le Veranda restaurant. We had quite mixed experience. Couple of dishes were excellent, while others were absolutely inedible. The breakfast was simply bad. So they certainly need to up their game when it comes to the food

The best part is the access to the Versailles Gardens. I will be back! This was my second time visiting Paris and this location made the difference for
me. The staff were so kind and the hotel grounds were impeccable. It was about a 35 minute train ride into Paris, which we did every day without complaint. The train station was within walking distance. I loved everything about my stay.

A very nice property but absolutely terrible customer service we checked into the hotel and were not advised of the free parking from the valet but ended up being directed to a car park where we had to pay for overnight parking. We were not advised that there was free Wi-Fi in the rooms but asked to pay €10. We could not access the fridge to get the items out because they failed to release the lock and I called down to reception to speak with them. They did not answer calls - for 30 mins . They didn’t answer when I phoned the concierge and they didn’t answer when I phoned the person assistant so all in all very pretty hotel with very nice rooms but terribly badly run. Not what you expect for 800 euros per night

Not what we expected!!!!

When we made the reservation in no place did they tell us that the terrace bar was closed, my husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary with changpane and be able to enjoy its abane with peace of mind as we usually do on our trips and when we reserve hotels of this category more in this Location, it was disappointing trying to get an option with so many terraces and tables outside, the time we asked for was 4:30 and no restaurant at that time was busy, what a shame to have status with the Hilton and that it was of no use, it was uncomfortable try to find solutions and prefer to go somewhere else to enjoy an hour without the children.

There was a big truck in the yard and made loud noises until around 4am during one of the days. In addition, I had someone (probably a kid) banging on my door for 10 minutes while I was inside and on a video conference. Also the breakfast could be better.

Everything else is ok. Staff was very friendly and highlight of my stay.
