If you are looking for no frills, clean, and inexpensive this is the place for you. The breakfast was continental and they had hard boiled eggs. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. It was an older facility and a bit shabby, but for the price it meet our needs.

We have stayed at the Carson City Resort before and enjoyed our stay, however this time we thought we were to stay in the main part of the hotel but it was under renovation and were put in a below average facility behind the main property. We were never told that the main building was under renovation and the pictures for the facility were of the main facility. If we had known that the property was under renovation we would have stayed somewhere else.

The actual hotel is being renovated into a best western. The motel is run down & needs MAJOR renovations. Theres no elevator & we were only offered 2 floor rooms. I had an infant that doesn’t walk & an older family member. Wouldn’t let my stray cat stay here

The office was hard to find at 10:30 at night, but once we found it, we were good. Breakfast was good for a make shift Breakfast area...they are remodeling the first building and had to move office and Breakfast.....the staff was very helpful when we needed somethings. We stayed 3 days and it was a good stay!

The picture on Expedia is not an accurate representation of the office or where it is located. The part of the building that is reflected in the picture does not appear to be in use and the actual motel is around the corner. The staff was nice. The room was clean. And overall, it was a good experience, but it the actual motel was not what was expected based on the picture online

I was expecting a newer more renovated hotel based on what I read on-line. Instead, the whole main building was under construction and the rooms seemed to need renovation. But the hotel was quiet and clean, the breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast, and the staff at the front desk were all super kind and competent. One staff member spent over 30 minutes just getting our cable TV to work. He coulda said they were short-staffed and couldn't get to our room, but he took the time and was extremely helpful. Hats off to the staff! The neighborhood was also noisy because of the local street and building construction. The location of the hotel was very good! Thank you for a good stay.

Place was clean. Minor cosmetic damage. Bed was decent. Quiet neighborhood. Staff was so nice. Breakfast was alright. Not like a 5 star hotel but wonderful. Everything was fresh, and good.
I would stay here again. They are renovating one building. So they keep their place up. I really enjoyed my stay. The stairs were really easy to go up. They were bot steep. And seemed the steps were closer together. Loved this place.

Decently clean room. For a simple business stay for two nights, i was satisfied with my stay. Staff were courteous and were ready to accommodate whenever i should have needed it. Air conditioning works (used the heater most of the time), towels were replaced before the next night i came back in, and i was able to properly rest.

One thing i noticed though was some stains on the towels. If this was cleaned and bleached a little bit better and with care, it would have been a 5 star rating for me all around!

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and would again. The lobby and front bldg is undergoing remodeling, so check in is unusual in needing to find their alternate building off the main drag. This hotel is good. Particularly because the rooms are unusually spacious. It is older, NOT remodeled, but kept up decently. Beds are comfortable and the room is clean. Fridge, not just a microwave but a stove. If you’re a parent with two kids, plenty of room! Budget friendly too.

We arrived at 5:30pm, check-in is a 3pm. We went to our room and the door was cracked open. We quickly realized that it hadn't been properly cleaned. There was no bedding, no towels, the floors were not vacuumed, and the place hadn't been wiped down. I alerted the front desk, they informed me that their housekeeper had called out and that there were some other workers doing the cleaning that day. Two women came to our room to fix the bed and provide towels. They were friendly, apologetic, and helpful. They asked if we wanted the room vacuumed and wiped down but I couldn't stick around to have them do it because we had to leave for our dinner plans, so they left me some cleaner and paper towels so I could wipe it down myself if I so choose. It was a good while after check-in so it was disappointing to arrive to a room that has not been properly cleaned, and I did not have time to wait around for them to do it.

The room itself was spacious. It had a small stove/oven, large fridge, sink, living room area, and separate bedroom. They had breakfast in the morning but I did not get to try it because we had to leave before 7am. The parking lot is small, not a lot of spaces, and the spaces themselves are tight. Location seemed good but we did not go around Carson City much. Price was good, I booked two days before my reservation and paid $108.

Something to note, the main building in the front is under renovation and is not opened. You need to check in at the building in the back.

The Site is under construction. Plan to wake up early.
Sunday morning at 7 a.m. someone was sawing away in the room next to mine, I made a comment but they started up again at 8 a.m.

The place does need a make over, but I do not think that the facility is aware of what is going on, within their own property.

I stayed there a couple years ago and I thought it was a much nicer facility. I do not think that I will return.

One great positive is its location. Good restaurants and a decent casino across the street. But I did not get the rest I needed this weekend.

The room while dated and a bit tired, was spotless, the staff was gracious, and welcoming. In the room, 181, all the lights worked, all the switches works. They are in the midst of a significant remodel, so breakfast was spent standing up…but folks seems ok with it.. this is i think our third time there, and it was just fine. I am looking forward to our next stay after the construction dust settles..

It’s a disappointment because I thought I booked a hotel but we end up in a motel room by the time we check in.we had no choice but to take it..we don’t use an airconditioner because it smells like cigarettes if you turn it on..they don’t let people know that the hotel itself are running on renovation..
We are not going back there again!

This property is dated but for the price, it’s a good deal. Having said that, this property is also currently going under a renovation. This was the second time I’ve stayed here. It’s probably by far the largest property in Carson City downtown. They have several buildings. I stayed in their roomy king suite. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back and look forward to the renovations!

Staff was friendly and courteous. Bed was comfortable, although smelled like someone's perfume. The sofa in the front area was tiny, like it was for a child's room. The curtains could not be opened without compromising privacy. They could use some secondary semi sheer ones to allow more light in. The front ones were pinned back with a pushpin in the wall. The bathroom needs a clothes hook. It's tiny, and there is no place to hang clothes to put on after your shower. The closet could definitely use more hangers. There were only 2.

I've stayed here before and loved it but this time the A/C didn't work and it was really hot in the room and there were short dark hairs on my pillow case. I have long blonde hair. otherwise it has a full kitchen with a real range and oven and a separate living room which i loved in the past when i stayed there.

Very dated with nasty stained carpeting and in need of serious renovation. TV was not connected and front door was stuck closed. Linens and pillows were clean but old. We advised a day in advance that we were checking out a day early from our three day reservation (staying 2 instead of 3). The clerk said they would make the adjustment in our bill however my credit card statement shows they never did and charged me for the full three days. Not smart business.

Carpet is decades old as well as the rest of the room. Should be updated more by now - esp for the price and area. Tears in carpet - chunks completely missing etc. Door also does not seal (you can see light shine all around the edges/frame) - therefore you could hear EVERYTHING outside and also above and when people use the stairs. Not great for light sleepers. Esp when we had been camping ⛺️ most of our trip and NEEDED some sleep badly. Staff was friendly up front at least.
