The room was very clean and when I mentioned a musty odor I smelled (I am very sensitive to smells) the next time the room was cleaned the scent from the water pipes was eliminated. The staff was excellent and very attentive and were very friendly. I would definelty return and stay there again.

The hotel itself was great! The staff were lovely, the free breakfast was a nice touch and the rooms were spacious. The building itself is kinda sketchy when you first get there but a lot of the buildings in Naples are just really old. The stairs were the biggest con.

Personnel were awesome and kind. Room 3 was fine with three steps leading to the bath area this could be a problem for some people. Breakfast was average stuff that's usually included. One of the workers offered me a sandwich to go when he saw i was leaving before breakfast. Elevator is .20 euro to use each time. Front desk has change if you need it. Shower is small typical European shower. A couple of minutes walk to metro and to ferry. Area is ready to use to get to other places. Room was cleaned and picked up every day. All in all a great stay

The hotel was quite difficult to find even with the directions given, once we found the building we walked into the wrong B&B as it was on the same floor of the building.

The walls are quite thin so other guests disturb you easily, as well as the set up of breakfast as we were awoken a few times by staff moving chairs and tables into place.

We came back one day and there was a man in our room cleaning our air con, nobody had told us this would be happening and a few of our items were moved around (albeit to keep them from getting dirty, but we’d still have preferred not to have a stranger touch our things) and our towels were dusty as a result too, as he had used them to protect the area around him.

Generally the room was clean, the bathroom on the other hand had quite a lot of staining around the shower and sink, some discolouration on the shower curtain, and generally didn’t feel very clean which made getting washed after a long day a dreaded experience.

It wasn’t the worst place to use as a base for a few days but I don’t know if I would rush back, unfortunately.

Small hotel. Old building but nice bedding and fairly clean overall. AC was working well. Staffs were generally helpful and responsive. Great location. Walkable to everything (beach, cruise port, ferry to Amalfi, shopping, attractions, etc.). The price was very inexpensive comparing to other hotels in the area. Cons: the entrance to the building was dark and has an odd old building smell; Use of the elevator required coins (20 cents in €). However, after checkout, the staff gave us the required coins for the elevator. That was very helpful because we did not have the proper change.

They did not send info to get into property and seemed upset we didn’t know. Then the elevator cost to use. They advised laundry (only washers) and restaurants (5 actually) and had none! Our shower dad mold in shower and on shower curtain. They did not tell us the door to room doesn’t automatically lock, until day 2. It seemed an inconvenience to ask for a 2nd set of keys. The area was close to ferry.

Great friendly place for a night or two!

Perfect little B&B in great location: main points of interests are in walking distance, 10 mins away from the port, 3 mins walk to the nearest metro station. Room was spacious and clean.
Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, we had to leave early in the morning and they even prepared the breakfast corner for us an hour before their standard breakfast time. We only spent a night here but the pleasant experince will surely bring us back!

This room has everthing that you need. Good bed, functioning A/C, good bathroom. But that is it, nothing extra. It does not look fancy, nice, or cozy. It is small and not very spacious. If you just need a place to sleep at night, it is good but you would not want to spend too much time at the room. Again, it provides everthing essential, but considering the price, one expects more.
In our room, we had a broken shower head and we asked it to be replaced/fixed. However, the broken head just attached back to the shower, without any repair.
Staff was very friendly and tried to help.

First time to Naples and finding MediNaples was great. Excellent location, 10 minutes from both
the ferry terminal and a castle and the royal palace. Nice clean and quiet rooms with air-con
and a good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpfull. Our 4 days in Naples were problem free and we found Naples a very pleasant surprise. Would go back again to this beautiful part of Italy

A wonderful female staff member at check-in was very helpful in helping us plan our days and with restaurant recommendations. Fortunately the bed and breakfast had sent us detailed information ahead of time about how to find it. There is a little tiny door to enter and then you find yourself in a dark entryway. You will be sure this isn't right, but it is. Once we found the right floor (Italy calls their first floors zero, so I always found myself a floor off) the bed and breakfast was clean and quaint. Lovely European breakfast. TV and A/C in the bedrooms. A/C is not typical in the common areas in any of the 3 hotels we tried in Italy, so be aware you may be sweating during breakfast if you visit in summer. Close to metro station, tobacco shop to buy your metro tickets, and Castel Nuovo. Look for the large blue umbrellas on the same street near the metro entrance for a great margherita pizza.

B & B Medi Naples was far more than I expected in this price range and location. We were only there for one night to hop a ferry to Capri the next day. But the Baroque area of Naples is worth exploring on it's own with the Castle next door. And Central Storico a few blocks away. This was the lowest price stay I had in Naples so was a bit concerned, but those concerns were soon dashed after arrival. The bathroom was excellent and the staff were professional and welcoming. The Italians really have the art of Hospitality down pat. We were charmed and impressed by this budget minded stay at Medi-Naples. A+

We really enjoyed our stay here - the staff were very helpful and courteous, the breakfast was good, the building was quiet and a little haven from the busy Naples streets with pleasant courtyards. Everything was clean and spotless, with modern furnishings and fittings, plentiful towels. A good location, close to everything and the metro. We loved the old building and the antique lift which worked very well and the hotel keep a pot of 10c coins at the desk for the lift so you can take a few to go down and come back. Hope to come back one day!

Our experience at MediNaples was positive.
The location is somewhat near to Bellini Piazza and that area, though it is about 10 min walk.
The first night we arrived, wifi in the room did not work at all, only in the common areas, but on the second night we stayed it was improved once we talked it over with the staff.
The included breakfast is good to start your day but space is limited if all guests come to eat at the same time.
If you bring a car however, there is no parking space. You need to park in nearby parking garages so keep that in mind.
Overall it was a good experience.

This was fine for a short stop over in Naples near the port. It was near enough to the Ferry Port for Capri to walk with our wheelie cases. The breakfast was good for a small set up.
We did however arrive at 9pm at night, there is no sign..just a tiny label on a door bell. You go through the street door way into an enclosed courtyard and an antique lift. At this point, we thought what on earth have we booked but once inside it was fine and the staff friendly and helpful,

We were totally surprised with the comfort, location, staff and breakfast buffet.
It appeared that this B&B was newly renovated although the entrance to the building was old and drab looking. The most outstanding part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff, especially Sean and Anastasia. Although Nicholas was very nice he knew no English and therefore wasn't able to communicate with us therefore having to wait until the other two were around to get information.
We would definitely stay there again next time in Naples.

We were disappointed. The 2 good points were the location and the reasonable price point. However our bedroom felt oppressive. In order to have 2 single beds, the pulling apart of the bed (made up into a double bed initially) meant pushing a bedroom side table completely out of reach and being within an arm's length of the wardrobe. The safe (bottom of wardrobe) could only be reached by kneeling on the floor to key in the code. The safe is also tiny and in a city like Naples it's essential to keep most things off the streets. I suspect if you'd wanted to keep your tablet, smartphone etc in here then you'd be disappointed. Our room overlooked a busy street which was extremely noisy at all hours, but this was something we could put up with. If this would bother you, request a room that doesn't overlook the main road. I left the hotel with massive mosquito bites on neck and ears! The guy who checked us in and overlooked breakfast was extremely helpful and vigilant; the latter quite essential in Naples.

An ideal B&B hotel in the city center

It is my first time to use B&B HOTEL
But I was so satisfied, will repeat it and recommended it.
The Guys are so so helpful and very kind.
The hotel is in an ideal place two minutes from the metro and walking distance from via Toledo (the most important street in Naples ). For the price, the room is wide clean safe with a safe and hair dryer, no mini bar. The breakfast is basic but it's OK for me.
So if you are not searching for a luxurious hotel, go ahead.

Great affordable option right in the heart of Naples. Location was perfect-- it was walking distance from everything notable in the historic district, from shopping, the beach, and amazing food.

It is a little tricky to find the first time, so just pay close attention to the directions they email you. It is not marked--but they will email you details that will get you there.

Service was wonderful. Rooms are not fancy, but clean and quiet.

Convenient location, but not comfortable

The location is within walking distance of the coast and most interesting sites. There is much construction in the area which was not active at night. The entrance is poorly marked so can be hard to find. The entrance courtyard looks like a scary movie set, but the interior is fine and updated. EXCEPT the air conditioning was not adequate for the 90 degree F summer temperatures. The staff was pleasant and the breakfasts were good start to another sweaty day.

Hotel is in a great location in Naples. It is about a 30 minute walk from the Central train station. It is hard to find though...It is in a large building with other occupants so there is no signage on the building...Your GPS will bring you to the general area but then its looking at the buzzers on the buildings looking for a little 1/2 inch by 2 inch label with MediNaples written on it...you buzz in and go up stairs. It might be easier during the day to locate as it was dark when I got to the hotel...the rooms are great...very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great pizza and other restaurants near by and a short walk to the water front restaurants/bars/nightlife as well

Great quiet place with very good location

This B&B was clean, quiet and quite new. Staff was nice, always present, but not over-present, pretty quiet actually and speaks English. Food in the morning was good and had enough variety. Location is very good, just beside the Castel Nuovo. The train station is walk-able, 30-40 minutes walk. If you are seeking tranquility near everything there is to see in Napoli, I recommend this place.

Sentralt plassert lite hotell/B&B. Litt vanskelig å finne inngangen, da det bare er en anonym dør med kodelås. Men hotellet har greie rom og et lite fellesrom hvor det serveres en bra frokost. Vi tok flybussen til Molo Beverello, og det tar ca 10 min å spasere til hotellet derfra. Gangavstand også til gamlebyen og severdigheter. Anbefales

Mauvais rapport qualité-prix.

Check-in compliqué pour une arrivée \"tardive\" c'est à dire 21h30. Il nous a fallu aller chercher les clés de notre chambre à la réception d'un autre hôtel heureusement à proximité. Au moins les instructions étaient claires. L'hôtel est situé dans un vieil immeuble avec un ascenseur que nous avons préféré éviter car peu engageant. La chambre triple était propre mais sans charme, peu meublée avec une climatisation en fin de vie a priori. Petit-déjeuner le matin classique avec un personnel aux petits soins et même un peu trop. Le check-out a été effectué par une personne désagréable. Bref pas une expérience inoubliable pour un prix bien trop élevé au regard du rapport qualité-prix.

Dur à trouver, aucun signe à l'extérieur, porte close. Il faut téléphoner pour avoir le code d'entrée. Pas pratique.
La personne à la réception était très professionnelle et sympathique. Comme je partais de bonne elle a même préparé le petit-déjeuner avant l'heure normale. Merci.

港の空港バス終点やフェリー乗り場から歩ける場所です。古い雑居ビルの3階だったかと思います。入口に看板や案内板がないので、到着する前に、準備としてグーグルアースの画像を見て事前体験しておくべきです。うまく玄関扉から入れたとしても、次の関門は有料のエレベーターです。小銭を投入しないと動かないので、最初はスーツケースを持って階段を上がることになります。ホテルのドアも紙切れが貼ってあるだけで、ノックして開けてもらいます。うまくチェックインできたら、スーツケースを預かってもらって市内観光に出かけましょう。フロントにエレベーター用の小銭が置いてあるので、当面用のを1枚借りて行き、後で返しておくのが良いでしょう。斜向かい左方向に大き目のスーパーマーケットがあります。部屋や朝食はイマイチだけど、立地や治安は良く、それほど不満のないホテルかと思います。

Helt greit sentrum av Napoli

Helt greit hotel i Napoli. Litt vanskelig å finne og ingen snakker engelsk men det gikk seg til. Varmt vann og greit trykk i dusjen samt rent og pent.

Tolles Unterkunft mit super Service

Gut gelegen, tolles Zimmer, einfaches, aber gutes Frühstück, toller Service. Simone hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und war sehr hilfsbereit. Auch ihr Kollege war super hilfsbereit. Als wir auscheckten und fragten, ob es kein Problem sei, auf der Strasse ein Taxi zu kriegen, hatte er schon das Telefon in der Hand und ein Taxi bestellt. Das war sehr nett.
Das Hotel ist im 2. Stock eines Hauses. Zuerst stsnden wir vor einer grossen dunklen, verschlossenen Tür. Die Anweisungen in der nach der Buchung eingegangenen Mail halfen aber, sich über das neben der Tür angebrachte Tableaux Zugang zu verschaffen. Es hat einen Lift für den zweiten Stock, dessen Nutzung 10 Cent kostet (Zahlautomat im Lift).
Vom Hotel aus kann man Neapel gut zu Fuss erkunden. Zudem liegt das Hotel in der Nähe der Galleria Borbonica: Da geht man mit einer geführten Tour in Neapels Untergrund - echt spannend und empfehlenswert!

Bon séjour à Naples.

Bon confort de la chambre. Salle petit-déjeuner exigüe...mieux vaut y arriver dès 8h. Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la ville et par rapport aux transports en commun (métro, alibus et ferry pour Capri et les autres îles de la baie de Naples).

Basales B&B zum angemessenen Preis

Dies ist kein Hotel, sondern ein B&B! Erst konnte ich den Eingang nicht finden, obwohl ich laut GPS genau davorstehen musste.. Genau auf die Hausnummer achten, Eingang ist neben einer Pizzeria in einer braunen Holztür, Name nur auf dem Klingelknopf, dann 2. Stock.
Sehr freundlicher Empfang, relativ grosses Zimmer. Fürs Preis- Leitungsverhältnins durchaus angemessen. Frückstück einfach aber ok.

Отель для ночлега в отличном месте

Проживали в отеле одни сутки вдвоём. Забронировали четырехместный номер с 3 кроватями, так он был по спецпредложению. Отель находится в квартире на 2 этаже дома постройки, вероятно, конца 19 века. Так как прочитали предыдущие отзывы, как найти отель, затруднений найти его не было. Добирались от вокзала на метро, что очень удобно, так как отель находится в 1 минуте ходьбы от метро Municipio. Лифт платный - 20 центов, но, когда заселялись, менеджер отеля дал карточку для бесплатного пользования лифтом на время проживания.
Отель: окно номера выходило во двор- колодец, поэтому было ночью тихо. В санузле все работало. Очень высокие потолки, поэтому было недушно. Удобные кровати. Очень светло в номере. Неплохой завтрак. Отличное расположение около метро, порта, замка, набережной, торговой улицы, красивых соборов.
Недостатки: неправильно закрепленные полочки в ванной ( под углом), из-за за чего с них все падало.
В целом - благоприятное впечатление. Вполне можно провести ночь. Очень удобное расположение

Приятный маленький отель

Хороший отельчик, встретила русскоговорящих девушка Мира, быстро заселила, все подробно объяснила. Номер хороший, просторный, есть телевизор (не включали)), сейф, маленький балкончик. Если бы был холодильник, было бы ещё замечательнее! Завтраки скромные, но достаточные. Расположение хорошее, близко от порта (мы прибыли с Искьи и добирались пешком). Но обратите внимание при пранировании поездки на маршрут от порта до отеля! Там площадь, на которую ориентир, перекопана и наша карта Мапс.ми сошла с ума, повела нас кругами, хотя это реально близко от порта) В целом, впечатление хорошее, рекомендую!

Einfach mieser Service.

Leider konnte ich in diesem Hotel trotz Bestätigung nicht übernachten. Am Tag der Übernachtung habe ich zwar von Medinaples nochmal eine Reservierungsbestätigung erhalten und die Anfrage wann ich eintreffe, aber bei Ankunft hat man mich dann in einem anderen B&B untergebracht. Ohne Erklärung und Begründung. Unmöhlich und schlechter Service von Medinaples. Nie wieder. Es ist wohl schon mehrmals vorgekommen, das Gäste ohne Grund einfach in einem anderen B& B untergebracht wurden.

Best service ever! Everyone at MediNaples were really friendly and helpful. We stayed for five nights with my girlfriend. We spent time strolling and shopping in the city center but also made several trips outside Napoli. Air conditioning worked blamelessly as well as free wifi (eventhough sometimes rather slow). Have a glass of wine and watch as the traffic goes by from the room's small balcony. For breakfast we had toast, cold cuts, jam, yoghurt, pastry, boiled eggs, cerial, fruits, juice, coffee etc. Room had a small TV and safe. Atmosphere indoors was very peaceful and eventhough traffic goes right underneath the window, street sounds are pretty well isolated and it's easy to sleep. I found the area safe since Via Medina is never deserted and also restaurants are open at least till midnight.

Closest metro station and food market at few minutes walking distance. Ferries to Ischia, Capri, Sorrento etc. leave from the port under ten minutes walking distance (same place you will find shuttle bus connection to Napoli airport). Shopping street(s) about 10-15 min walk away.

I recommend nearby restaurants La Lazzara or Anonymous Trattoria Gourmet for local, fresh and superb food. In case you are looking for neapolitan pizza making course, one of them takes place almost the next door to MediNaples.
