The location was very centralized to most attractions and shopping in Napoli, but the customer service was non-existent. We never received instructions for checking in. If the janitor had not bee there to help us, we would have been out on the street. No one ever answered the phone numbers or emails that were listed in the \"contact us\" link. There was no concierge service as advertised, no front desk coverage at all and the front desk, in fact, was just outside our room. These owners were ABSOLUTELY non-responsive to requests, service, etc. I would NOT recommend Barbarella Suites to anyone who appreciates customer service.

I did not like the set up of the washroom. It has balcony which probablysome people would love but we did not use it. Other than the washroom everythjng was good.

We found it challenging to find. Would have been nice to know how to access the property and the elevator situation. Also, would have been nice to have a chair to sit down in, and some place to put items in the shower. The room attendant didn’t speak any English and was unable to translate in his language. The location was nice though.

This property should correct their photos, as it is not as presented. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The owner very thoughtful, but getting into the property and up a 2 ft x 3 ft lift to the 9th room was a bit daunting. The entrance is nothing like photed, and finding this place was difficult, as no cars can go down that street and the taxi driver sent us on the wrong direction. Listing does say it's on the 9th floor, but still not what we expected. Overall...good value for the money, nice clean room, no overnight front desk, no safety features if you needed to get out quickly. I would say this property is best for younger more vibrant persons.

Check in is at 3pm. I booked my flight 1st and not my hotel. So I was due to come in at 10am. I thought there would be a place to sit and be comfortable while I wait. The hotel is just rooms, which is fine, I just wasn't aware. Once there, one of the cleaners was rushing to clean up our room which was fine. I'd rather it be spotless than okay and rushed. I noticed there was some red dots on the floor going towards the bathroom. So my mum asked the lovely guy if someone could clean it up. He did it himself. The staff was really nice. He was great very informative and kind.

The elevator of the building requires a 10c coin to operate. That was a shock to us. So just make sure you have change to get up there. The guy at the front desk gave us some 10c coins on the way out.

Shower is great, so was the mattress. I had a good sleep.

Is the first time a needed to pay for the elevator every time go up and down was very inconvenient one day, nobody was around no money for the elevator, and I needed to take the stairs to go down and fin 10 to bring money to my husband to go down.

The worst hotel that I ever seen.

1. They r close until 15:00 (check in) - if u arrive before: u can’t leave baggage.

2. U need to pay 10 cent every time u use the elevator (to go up/down).

3. No shampoo/soap at shower.

4. No blanket!, only sheet.

5.noisy! U here the ppls from out side, and the guy from the reception- u here everything!!!

This room was very clean, updated, and modern in furnishings. Our room had a huge Jacuzzi tub and large bathroom. The bed was a firm bed, not sure if every room has this type of bed, it was still nice but it was firm. It was also very private and secure which was nice, it is on the 9th floor of a secured building, so make sure you schedule your check-in time. We reserved our room the morning we were staying there so we did not get to reserve a check in time right away, so we waited outside the hotel until 2 when someone was there, others should not experience this though as they will probably not be reserving it just hours before :) They brought clean towels and offered to clean the room every single day and we were very well taken care of. It is only minutes from 2 different metro stops and minutes from the ferry, there are many ferry options you can take to different spots, we went to Capri and it was extremely reasonable and easy!

It was hard to locate since you had to find building and pay to get on elevator and up to 9th floor.
Staff was nice at check in and overall location was good
Room was just cleaned and smelled like vinegar. Bed was very hard.

Very helpful owners. Always making sure you are pleased with your stay. Offering tips on places to eat and things to see. They are very proud of their city and want the best experience for guests. Room was clean and roomie. English is not their first language but we were still able to understand each other. Location is acceptional. WiFi is hit or miss but that seems to be Italy. Would most definitely stay here again.

It is not a hotel. There is no sign. We had trouble finding it and the building looks like a dump. Once we overcame the flaws it was a nice room we stayed in with friendly staff.

There was no staff, nowhere to check in.

I arrived at the property to check in. couldn't find a front desk. there was an intercom outside the building, no one answered. a neighbor let me in. went upstairs, knocked on the door, and no one was there. i called the phone number, no one answered. So I wasn't able to check in. Called expedia and tried to get a refund, and they called the property and they denied my request.

Our stay here was great the room was beautiful and staff is wonderful only down side is that its a big building and hotel is located on the 9th floor and u have to pay the elevator 10cents to go up and down 10cents exact i put in 20cents cause i didnt have 10cent and that didnt work so we walked up to the 9th floor which was horrbile 😩 and u can only check in between certain hours because receptionist leaves at 6pm aside from that everything was great

We had one night in Naples before heading back home. The hotel was close the harbour not too far from the local shopping district. The hotel itself was beautifully presented, comfortable and the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. The bathroom was small, though suitable for a night.

The service was impeccable! So kind and welcoming it really was refreshing for us as we had some bad experiences. The room was so modern, new and stylish. We loved it! Only thing I can suggest is giving more pillows as one was a little too flat but otherwise everything was perfect!

Not good for hotel guests

The owners are lovely but the receptionist was not genuine or helpful. The shower flooded daily and all she could say was they had never had complaints before and to take shorter showers (it flooded after 2 mins of use). The lift cost 10 cents to use each time, if you didn't have a coin it was a 9 floor hike up stairs. It cost 15 euros to check in after 6pm and when our plane was delayed nobody was there on arrival and the Expedia number was wrong. After a lot of panic we found the right number and had to wait to be let in.

comfortable room with a terrasse which we used during the breakfast and in the evening. located in the downtown area. quiet area. close to shopping area (Toledo), to port, to metro and to old town. walking distance to old town but can use the metro to go to old town or Vomero. nice supermarket near by.

Alibus, bus that goes to the airport, is in the port at a 10 minutes walk from the room

Unusual entrance, in part of a block of various businesses but once the lift door opens you are directly in the suites. They are spotless and furnished to a high standard. The owners were very helpful and friendly along with there children! Would defiantly stay again if in Naples

Great location. Refrigerator. Balcony. Eating area.hot water for shower is good. Free and good wifi. Near metro- Toledo & Municipio, making it easy to get anywhere in city. Cross street. Go up hill to find great pizza and sea food. Affordable food. Shopping. Walk to Castle, Archeological Museum.no buffet break. Pick items from menu. Delivered 8 am to room. Do not answer emails. Not there from 8-8, so plan to be left siting outside/ waiting. Bed and pillows are quite firm. No drinking glasses. More than a couple of nights, stay somewhere else. Pay . 10 for elevator up/ down. Charged a higher price for city taxes than what was stated on Expedia/Hotels.com.

This was an amazing b&b!

The owner and staff treated us like royalty. The owner greeted us, and gave us great recommendations. Cleanest place we have stayed in....the room was immaculate. The free breakfast consisted of whatever we wanted off of their menu...delivered to the room at whatever time we wanted. The suites are located in an executive building which gave it a cool feeling....and all the entry ways were secured. Great location, overall 5 stars for a 4 star b&b.

Jättefint rum, stort och fräscht. Ligger bra centralt nära via toredo men även nära marinan. I området finns matbutik, restaurang och café.
Vi blev väl omhändertagna och personal var super trevliga och hjälpsamma. Absolut värt priset!

La posizione della struttura ricettiva è centrale e comoda; accoglienza del receptionist Isac davvero speciale.
All'interno della camera nessun mobilio che mi permettesse di appoggiarvi momentaneamente il trolley (sedie, tavolini, mensole, reggivaligia, panca portavaligia), niente di tutto ciò; è presente, però, un rumorosissimo frigo bar.
La Signora che risponde al telefono non è certamente accogliente e garbata.
Infine, a mio modesto parere, non è pensabile che in una struttura ricettiva si scelga una \"politica aziendale\" che non consenta agli ospiti di arrivare oltre le 23,00!!! Spesso, ad essere notevolmente in ritardo, sono le compagnie aeree. Struttura che non consiglio.
Napoli...tutta la vita.!!!!!

Struttura,carina,e pulita ma un servizio deludente per i clienti a cui ha recato disagio dato che il personale non era in struttura al momento dell arrivo e i numeri indicati non rispondeva nessuno.
Abbiamo dovuto aspettare quasi in ora davanti alla porta dell entrata prma che qualcuno si presentasse.

Majoitus on kerrostalon 9 kerroksessa. Hissi maksaa 10 senttiä (su ja myöhään maksuton), mutta majoitusliike antaa kolikoita. Check-in alkaa 14.00. Olin paikalla 13.30 ja en päässyt alaovesta sisään joten soitin ja englantia osaamaton siivooja päästi lopulta sisään. Odotin tunnin. Respan henkilökunta taas puhui hyvää englantia ja tilasi taksin kun lento lähti 6.00 aamulla. Mukava henkilökunta, siisti huone parvekkeella. Rauhallisella kadulla. Liikenteen äänet ei kuulu huoneeseen. Tulisin toistekin!

Situación ideal para visitar zona Castel Nuovo.

Al no ser un hotel convencional, sino que está situado en la novena planta de un edificio de viviendas y despachos, nos costó encontrarlo.
Luca fue muy amable y educado. Lo único que no nos gustó es que nuestra habitación estaba situada en el recibidor, justo al lado de recepción. Aún así tuvimos suerte y los huéspedes fueron muy respetuosos en las entradas y salidas.

Lovely hotel in a lovely city

A wonderful boutique hotel located high up in what seems to be an office building. The lift up to the hotel, you have to pay for to use. I have never seen that before, but in the hotel reception, you get the cents needed for your trips with the lift.
Inside, the hotel is everything I expected plus a little extra. I believe, I counted 6 rooms which means that the service you get is absolutely amazing. The receptionist was extremely friendly and smiling. We'd booked the room with massage tub and got a very precise examination on how the tub worked. We also had breakfast included which you had to order the day before and at the requested time the breakfast was put on a small tray table outside your room - I loved it! A tip: if you like chocolate, order the chocolate croissant. It is drowning in it!

The location is also very good. A few hundred meters away, you have both the shopping street Toledo and the metro station Municipio. Everything is within walking distance and if you are tired and just want a coffee, beer or something light to eat, there is a café just outside the entrance.

Overall an extremely successful visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Ps. The massage tub room is bit suitable for friends unless you want to see each other showering or going to the toilet. The toilet wall was a glass wall with film on it, but still very see-through.

Nice hotel near the major sights

The small hotel is located on the 9th floor of a rather dodgy apartment building, where you'll have to pay to use the elevator. Checkin/out has limited hours which is not flexible if you arrive after 18 o'clock. The hotel was clean and minimalistic in its appearance. The room was very comfortable, but I would have appreciated coffee/tea and water included in the roomrate. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly and wi-fi was superb.
